Hotels With breakfast in More og Romsdal, Norway

Pros : great location , high hill and walk 300 m. to the waterfall viewpoint nearby. Good breakfast. Outdoor pool is small but warm and gimmic jaguzzi. Indoor pool is huge. Spa is great. There are many relaxing area. Cons : far from tourist center, restaurants for 1 km. Room is ok but expensive if compared to the price. Service is not ok some issue. No amenity in the bathroom and small hair dryer.

Stayed in a basic room which was more than adequate for a three night stay. The shower was also very nice along with body wash and body lotion. I also used the sauna in the basement, they have them in the changing rooms for the gym., you have to turn it on yourself it takes a good 30mins and it's at a reasonable temperature. There was a very nice lounge area off from reception and you could help yourself to tea and coffee all day. We only realised that on our last day 😏 Breakfast was good for this hotel. I would recommend the hotel and happily stay again. Ps parking is 250nok per 24hrs at hotel.. But after 4pm on a Saturday it's free street parking until 8am Monday morning. We took advantage of this and just paid street parking outside of the hotel for 2hrs for 51nok before leaving on Monday, absolutely safe to do this.

The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea. There are cheap public parking spaces at the door, but the number is limited. The hotel's own parking lot is indoors, probably converted from an air-raid shelter. There is a very narrow door inside, and drivers with poor driving skills may not be able to park in it. I saw traces of vehicles scratching the wall of the doorway.

I stayed here for two nights, but the weather was terrible – heavy rain and strong winds. Luckily, the hotel wasn't too far from the station, but the whole way was uphill, which was tough for people with luggage! There were supermarkets nearby, so buying food wasn't a problem. The room was very warm, and the bathroom was large with a bathtub. It faced the sea view, so even though the weather outside was bad, my mood wasn't too bad. I especially liked the breakfast – it was plentiful and had a wide variety of choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very well located, quite expensive, and attracts many groups. The staff is friendly, but the rooms are very basic, with no kettle or decorations. Fortunately, the breakfast is delicious and the view is beautiful.

I was given a room on level 3 where the lift was defective and I had to carry my big luggage up a flight of stairs.  The toilet is small and the wash basin is mediocre.  The food served in the restaurant was good and breakfast was average.  It is the best hotel in Andalsnes port area.

The hotel is great, the service is great, and the breakfast is rich. It is by the sea, the scenery is beautiful, and we happened to see two huge cruise ships docked next to the hotel in the morning. The sea water is clear and deep, and it looks black from a distance, but it is actually too deep. The shallow water next to the hotel is azure blue, and jellyfish can be seen everywhere. However, the room rate is very expensive in summer. Alesund is a small city, a tourist city, and cruise ships bring batches of guests. There are several large stores where tax refunds can be made.

We were given a handicap room without asking for it, and when I asked for the swap, I was only told that there are no other rooms available. For one night, it was OK, but never received any offer for the 2 next nights. I sent an e mail to the support, but no answer was received. The breakfast was not the same as before and the quality was much better before 2023.

This hotel tells us from its name that it has a history of more than 100 years. Because Alesund has a population of 70,000 and the city is not big, this hotel is in the city. Unexpectedly, the decoration of the hotel is very artistic. From the lobby to the restaurant to the guest room, it is very artistic. This style is rare, but it is very tasteful. The breakfast is very rich, and the regional layout is also very characteristic, as if it is very casual, but has a design connotation. The basement level can be parked, but it is charged by the hour after 9:00 in the evening. It costs more than 200 yuan in one night. I finally stopped at the street and charged after 8:00 in the morning.

This place is very convenient, good location, lovely area. Small but clean. Breakfast was fantastic! We are Thai and we met a Thai receptionist and she was very helpful. Try ask for quiet room because we booked 3 rooms but 2 rooms said it a bit noisy at night (we were there on a weekend). Definitely recommend.
