There was a slight issue during check-in regarding my booking. I had booked a room with breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child, but the front counter mentioned that their system only showed breakfast for 2 adults. After I showed them the details from my Trip.com booking, they still needed some time to recheck before finally confirming it. It was a bit troublesome, but thankfully the matter was resolved. On the positive side, the room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. TV channel options were rather limited, though. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hotel’s flexibility in allowing us a late check-out after afternoon prayer without any hassle or unnecessary questions, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would gladly come again in the future.

I’d rate this hotel 4 out of 5 overall. The room wasn’t perfectly clean, but it was good for the price.The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great. Check-in and especially check-out were a bit annoying due to the wait. The waterpark is excellent and the kids absolutely loved it. The restaurant was good, with reasonably priced food and a great sunset view. Breakfast was the weakest point, with limited options like eggs, bread, and noodles.

I spent 4 days and 3 nights at Royale Signature Hotel, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most pleasantly surprising stays in Alor Setar! From check-in to check-out, everything felt smooth and welcoming — the staff genuinely made me feel like a guest, not just a booking number. The room was spacious, bright, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials: comfy bed, soft pillows, mini-fridge, and a spot-perfect workspace. The sleep quality was impressive… though, full disclosure, the soundproofing could use an upgrade — I could occasionally hear faint hallway sounds. Nothing deal-breaking, but something to note if you’re a deep sleeper. Location-wise, it’s a winner. Walking distance to Aman Central, local cafés, and Alor Setar Tower made exploring effortless. High floors also offer a lovely city view — perfect for morning coffee or sunset photos. Little touches made my stay memorable: complimentary Wi-Fi that never faltered, modern toiletries, and those small staff gestures that made a difference — smiles, helpful directions, and quick responses whenever I needed something. Overall, Royale Signature Hotel is a great value for a 4-star stay in the heart of the city. Comfortable, convenient, and welcoming — I left feeling rested, happy, and already planning my next visit. If you’re coming to Alor Setar, this hotel will not disappoint. 💡 Tip: Request a higher floor for the best city views and bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper — minor things, but your stay will be perfect!

Stayed here during our CNY balik kampung trip — overall the stay was okay and reasonable for the price, though we’re not sure why the reception has been moved to another building as it looks older and less presentable compared to the more welcoming main lobby hall.

The room allocated on the first night requires maintenance. We requested for a change the following morning and the staff were extremely attentive and offered us a better room. The general feel of the hotel is clean and peaceful. Customer service is second to none, and we would like to thank Mr Faiz and Ms Qamarina for their professional support and courtesy during our stay. We have no hesitation to recommend this hotel if guests are looking for a calm, peaceful, friendly and clean hotel in Langkawi.

Waking up each morning to the sight of calm blue waters and lush green surroundings was incredibly peaceful and helped me disconnect from the stress of daily life. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the infinity pool, which overlooked the ocean and created a breathtaking atmosphere, especially during sunset. I spent hours there just relaxing and enjoying the scenic beauty. The resort also had a variety of dining options, and the food was delicious, offering both local Malaysian flavors and international cuisine. Every meal felt special, with fresh ingredients and great presentation. Another thing I appreciated was the peaceful environment of the resort. It was not overly crowded, which allowed me to enjoy quiet moments and truly unwind. Really great stay at Holiday Villas, has more than everything you need for a great holiday. The rooms are dated but they are clean and have all the facilities you need. The balconies feel a bit risky for young children so maybe requesting a ground floor room is better. The setting is perfect. The beach is so nice and there are more than enough sun loungers, toilets nearer the beach would be helpful as it is quite a walk for people from the beach. Overall great stay.

I claimed trip point and just pay only rm100 for standard room. It comes with breakfast for 2 pax. Cheap. Near to everything including Mixue. valet park only rm32. Recommended!

You can also order food to be delivered poolside. The changing rooms are very large. 10. **Shuttle Service:** Free scheduled shuttle bus service to the night market and Eagle Square. 11. **Luggage Storage:** Luggage storage is available. 12. **Nearby Dining:** There's a restaurant with a pool next door, which has a nice ambiance. Across the road, there's a Thai restaurant run by Chinese owners, offering good value for money. Areas for Improvement: 1. **Condition:** The corridors and rooms are a bit dated. 2. **Air Conditioning:** Some rooms have central AC, others have wall-mounted units. In some cases, the wall-mounted units didn't blow air, and we had to clean the filters ourselves, which were very dirty. 3. **Bathroom:** The bathroom lacks a modern feel. 4. **Breakfast Quality:** The breakfast quality isn't very high and also feels dated.
