Hotels With breakfast in Toyama Prefecture, Japan

The location is a bit out of the way, but it wasn't a problem since we were driving. Although it's an older-style inn, it was clean and tidy. There were also quite a few locals staying there. They offered snack sharing in the afternoon and evening. The most pleasant surprise was the incredibly rich breakfast. I would definitely choose this inn again next time.

Great location, just 1min walk away from Toyama Station on level 5 of the Maroot building . It’s a perfect base to move around the Tateyama region. The room is on the small side but adequate and well furnished. For tourists who need the iron & ironing board, there are 2 sets per floor that you can use. This is a lifesaver. I’ve had to deal with the trousers presser only at certain hotels, much to my dismay. This was a nice change.

Hotel is modern and new. Room is very spacious and clean. Staff is very helpful. We forgot that we reserved a parking space and the staff is able to check and find our reservation record so we are able to park our car in the hotel.

The location is super convenient, right across from the station square. I arrived a little after one and the front desk kindly checked me in, which was a nice touch. My room had a view of the snowy mountains, the City Hall Observation Deck, the Glass Museum, and the green roof of Toyama Castle. If you stay multiple nights and opt out of full cleaning (only trash emptied and towels changed), you get a free drink voucher redeemable at the vending machine on the first floor. Foreign guests can also get a free tram ticket at the front desk, valid for two rides. Breakfast was decent, and you can even take coffee to go.

A very charming accommodation. The staff, though their English was limited, were very welcoming, and the bath was very comfortable. The facilities, while old, were not run-down, and the price remained reasonable even during holidays.

The hotel is within walking distance of Toyama Station, the Museum of Glass, Toyama Castle Park, and the City Hall Observation Deck. The Sakurabashi tram stop is right outside the door, which is very convenient for getting to the station with luggage.

Great location, very convenient for getting around. It's right at a major intersection, so easy to find. Just 4 tram stops from Toyama Station. There's a Family Mart right across from the hotel. The room was very spacious, but the bathroom was a bit small with no counter space. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Free drinks available until 10 PM, which is a great perk!

Due to a booking error made by the agent, my check-in experience was terrible. I spent the entire night communicating with Ctrip (the booking platform), and while it was eventually resolved, I was still disappointed that I didn't get the room I wanted. The hotel is right next to Toyama Castle, and you might get lucky and see the Tateyama Mountain Range from the side. There's a convenience store and a tram station across the street, which is generally good. However, the room itself was very basic, and the service wasn't particularly warm. Overall, the experience was just average. A small surprise was the mochi pounding and sake offering on New Year's Day morning.

Nice and clean hotel. But the melting snow is not easy to walk on. ( For visit in June) It will be good if the commentary for walks or for night slide show can be in English as well. The staff are very polite and helpful. Delicious dinner too. Lastly thanks for giving me a room with wonderful view at level 4. Windows can be opened and air is very fresh. Free tea and coffee and selected timing. Souvenir shop and public bath are good too.

Every time I visit Toyama, I choose this hotel for its convenience, surrounding area, and brand reputation. The rooms are a bit small, but the breakfast is excellent, and its location right in front of the station makes getting around incredibly easy, especially when using the Shinkansen. You can also see the Tateyama Mountain Range, a symbol of Toyama, not far from the hotel entrance. I highly recommend this hotel.
