An incredibly enjoyable and great value stay. What stood out most was the amazing restaurant – it's fully equipped, has a lovely ambiance, and breakfast runs until noon. Besides the usual salads, a variety of Chinese and Western cold and hot dishes, there are also many hot dishes like 'Guobaorou' (fried pork in sweet and sour sauce), shrimp, beef, stir-fried vegetables, and 'Tieguo Dun' (stewed dishes in an iron pot). They even have 'Guobaorou' burgers and sauerkraut egg tarts, which are definitely worth trying. I highly recommend booking a room with breakfast included.
The room was also very spacious, clean, and tidy. The hotel's location is excellent; it's right by the subway station, a short walk to Central Street, and the cable car across the river is just across the road. There are also many restaurants nearby.
And the service? It was beyond excellent. Every staff member I encountered, from the restaurant manager to the front desk and concierge, provided genuinely warm and enthusiastic service.
Highly recommended!

The front desk staff were warm, polite, and efficient with check-in, and their attitude was gentle, thoughtful, and patient. The room offers expansive views of the city streets. The location is top-notch, right in the heart of the city. Amenities are comprehensive, with stable hot water, comfortable air conditioning, and fast, smooth internet. The value for money is outstanding; the overall quality far exceeds other hotels in the same price range. A must-stay when visiting Harbin.

Everything was great except for the male manager with glasses at the entrance. My car was temporarily parked outside because there were no spaces available, and I had already called the front desk in advance. However, this person had a terrible attitude. He immediately started questioning me. While I understand he was doing his job, couldn't he have been a bit nicer? He could have said something like, 'Hello sir, parking isn't allowed here, but if you're a guest, we can valet park for you.' That would have been much better. Other than that, everything was fine. The front desk staff deserves special commendation; their service attitude was excellent, and they handled various issues efficiently, even upgrading my breakfast for free, which was wonderful. The overall decor and cleanliness were impeccable and very beautiful. I had a very comfortable stay. They just need to improve the training for the greeters at the entrance.

The carpet had hair and food debris. There was also hair on the sofa and in the bathtub. After I reported it to the hotel, they were quite apologetic. Given their willingness to address the issues, I agreed not to penalize their rating, but I do think it's important to document these problems in a review. This serves two purposes: first, to alert other travelers to pay attention to room hygiene, and second, to encourage the hotel to uphold its hygiene service commitments.

Love the hotel. Perfect location, good cleanliness, good front counter. At first got a room with smoke smell but they immediately change another room for me. Laundry room available at 8am-8pm. It will be great if it’s available 24 hours as we can get our laundry done after hanging out all day. Room size is perfect size

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for 5 days during my trip to Harbin. Upon arrival, the staff warmly helped us with our luggage and took it to our room. The service throughout our stay was excellent, and our requests were quickly addressed. I initially booked one day less on Ctrip by mistake. When I went to extend my stay yesterday, my original room type wasn't available. The front desk staff kindly showed me two other room types, and I ended up switching to a room with a courtyard, which I'm very happy with! Both room types were very quiet at night!

The hotel boasts a great location, situated at the northernmost end of Central Street. A right turn outside leads directly to Central Street and the Flood Control Monument, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city center. It also features its own parking lot, a rarity for hotels on Central Street. However, be aware that the rooms are relatively small. The standard double room is practically just enough space for the bed, with no desk. The suites have a separate small room with a TV and coffee table, but are also quite cramped. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money this season, especially convenient for those with a car. The staff are also very friendly and helpful, making it a highly recommended hotel.

The location is fantastic, right downstairs from St. Sophia Cathedral, making it super convenient to get around. Everyone, from the front desk to room service, was incredibly warm and welcoming. It was a wonderful travel and stay experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Harbin!
This is the first time in decades I've left a negative review on Ctrip, and this stay was an absolute nightmare, no exaggeration. I chose what's supposed to be the best hotel in Mohe, but I didn't get a wink of sleep. The hotel has large fans running at night, and lying in bed, my ear on the pillow, created a resonant effect with the noise (I wonder if anyone can understand or relate to that). I called the front desk to ask for a room change, but was told there were no other rooms of that type available. I said, 'If there's an issue with this room, it shouldn't be assigned!' Ultimately, no solution was found!!! The next morning, I had a splitting headache and tearfully complained to the front desk. They apologized and offered a late checkout until 2 PM, but my Ctrip benefits already allowed for a 2 PM checkout anyway!! I asked to speak to the front desk manager or lobby manager and was told the leaders weren't in... Again, no resolution! I had planned to stay three nights in Mohe, but ended up buying a flight to Harbin for that very day. My final checkout time was 3:30 PM. I was truly, truly, truly, truly, truly distraught! It's been two days since I arrived in Harbin and my head still hurts. Extremely disappointed! I hope the Ctrip platform can advocate for a loyal customer of decades.
The photos are my own, taken directly at the large equipment downstairs that caused the noise. I showed them to the hotel front desk and suggested their managers stay one night to experience my suffering! They just chuckled and gave no response! I stayed in room 802.

What's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night?
The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.

GGuest UserHad a fantastic stay, the service was excellent, loved it! They even helped us with our luggage. The breakfast was good too, we could use the microwave to heat things up, and it felt very safe. Definitely great value for money.

YYanggaomeinvTraveling to Harbin with my child, our first stop was the Xana Hotel (Harbin Central Street Sophia Church). The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the middle-north section of Central Street, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. Zhaolin Park is just 100 meters east, across the street, and the main Central Street is 50 meters west. St. Sophia Cathedral is about 500-800 meters away on foot. The hotel lobby was super cozy, offering a stamp check-in and afternoon tea. The staff provided excellent service. Since I hadn't planned my trip and decided to go last minute, I asked about Harbin's specialties. They even added me on WeChat and sent me a guide to dining, entertainment, and attractions around the hotel. The breakfast was incredibly rich, meeting all the nutritional needs (meat, eggs, milk, fruit) required for traveling with a child. On the day of check-out, I decided last minute to take some travel photos with my child near St. Sophia, which delayed our check-out time. The staff kindly extended our check-out until 2 PM for free. All in all, our first stop in Harbin made us feel so warm. If you're staying around Central Street, Xana is definitely the best choice!!! I've already recommended it to many friends since returning to Beijing. 😙😙😙

XXiniangniangqiansuiqianqiansuiThis is an excellent hotel! The breakfast is incredibly refined and shows so much care – it's like they're always thinking about giving you the very best, and wouldn't dare serve anything less. For a hotel to operate this way, it's truly commendable. Can we please give an award to all the staff on duty? The room decor is similar to what you'd find at a Sofitel. Every single staff member greets you with a smile and works diligently. And I mean *every* staff member! I genuinely recommend this hotel to everyone. The breakfast is superior to what you'd find at H World Group hotels and other chains, and even surpasses some higher-starred hotels. It's truly a small but beautiful gem of a hotel.

NNikitnAs a loyal Ritz-Carlton fan, how could I not stay here when I'm back in my hometown?! Upon check-in, I was upgraded to a river-view room on the 39th floor, offering a distant view of the Songhua River. The weather had warmed up, but surprisingly, I encountered a heavy snowfall. The hotel facilities are relatively new, the room was generally clean, and the details were well-handled. Breakfast was quite extensive, and sitting by the window allowed for a great city view. The staff were also very good and accommodating. The doorman in the lobby on the first floor was very friendly. The bar on the 56th floor is also nice; I sat there every night for a while. There was a guy in a suit and mask who was quite enthusiastic. However, on the last night, a group of people were incredibly loud. There was also a guy from Northeast China, perhaps drunk on fake alcohol, swearing loudly on the phone, which really marred such a nice atmosphere. Overall, the stay was excellent, full marks.

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean, spacious, and bright, with complete and convenient facilities. It's right next to Saint Sophia Cathedral and a 10-minute walk from Central Street. Downstairs, there's a department store with everything you could need. The hotel breakfast is also delicious, with a rich variety of dishes, including halal options, and new dishes are introduced daily. The front desk service is warm and efficient; we bothered them quite a bit, but they were always patient and helpful. The soundproofing in the room is excellent too, making for a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserPros:
1. The room was very spacious, luxuriously decorated, and the ambiance was elegant, making for a comfortable stay.
2. The facilities were excellent. The toilet was a smart toilet, and the room had both a humidifier and an air purifier.
3. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The front desk staff handled issues efficiently and promptly, and their attitude was very good.
Cons:
1. The hotel's hot spring is open to the public, and during the Chinese New Year, it was quite crowded. Guests didn't have a dedicated entrance and had to queue at the door to get a wristband before entering, which was inconvenient.
2. There was only one outdoor hot spring pool; all the others were indoors. This wasn't quite what I expected. I wish there were more outdoor pools, especially since the hotel's main selling point is its hot spring.
3. The gym had a limited number of machines, which wasn't quite enough. Also, there was a lack of equipment maintenance; the handles on some machines were too slippery. The gym's access control seemed to have an issue, as sometimes the card swipe wouldn't work.
