Having traveled to many cities across China and stayed in various star-rated hotels, the Habsburg Hotel in Harbin (opposite Friendship Palace) stands out as the best in terms of service (hands down) and overall quality. From the welcoming staff to the front desk, restaurant servers, and even the parking security, everyone exuded a warm and comfortable vibe. I'd recommend all star-rated hotels and guesthouses nationwide take a lesson from them on what real service means, especially those 'X-dens', 'X-tons', 'X-huas', and 'X-las' out there. You should all go learn! If you think there are too many positions to learn from, start with the front desk. Try being a regular guest just once, and I guarantee your multi-star hotels will be blushing with shame.

The hotel is right on Central Street, close to Hongzhuan Morning Market, making it convenient to get anywhere. I arrived quite late on the day, and the lovely front desk staff upgraded my room, which was great service. The room was spacious with a separate wet and dry area, and it was very quiet during my stay.

This hotel's service was fantastic! My check-in was scheduled for 2 PM, but they called me at 10 AM to pick up my room card. They let me store my luggage and even had it delivered to my room. They also gave me a free room upgrade to room 206, which had great natural light and a smart toilet. Besides bottled water, they provided a fruit platter, a coffee machine, and capsule coffee. They offered two tickets to the Fairy Tale Museum (worth 40 yuan each), and I could choose outfits from the first floor to take photos in the room or lobby, with no time limit or restrictions on the number of outfits. They also included four travel photoshoots (appointments needed in advance). The hundred-year-old elevator was free to use, and upon departure, they even gave me a small gift bag of chocolates. The location is superb – just two subway stops from Harbin Station and a 10-minute walk. It's right next to Central Street, a 5-minute walk to St. Sophia Church, Red Brick Morning Market, and Zhaolin Park. The Baroque street, Flood Control Monument, and Stalin Park are all less than 2 km away. Taxis can pick you up and drop you off right at the entrance. I'll definitely be back!

If you're driving, I'd recommend taking the exit at Songbei (unless you want to photograph the start of G1), even though it's further, it avoids most of the city traffic, reducing the chance of getting stuck. The hotel environment is top-notch, and parking isn't an issue. You check in at the South Gate reception, and the North Gate leads directly to the south entrance/exit of the Harbin Ice and Snow World, about a 10-minute walk depending on your pace. It's very close to the Ferris wheel and the big stage, and I believe it's not far from the subway station either. Cleanliness is a given and was excellent. The room facilities are comprehensive. When ordering takeout, be aware of potential delays; in my case, there were no delivery riders available. I'm not sure if this was an isolated incident or a common problem. During the Ice and Snow Festival, room prices double, but for convenience, it's an excellent choice. Harbin Ice and Snow World Adult Ticket - Standard Price: I booked the tickets with my room, and it was significantly cheaper than buying them separately. Important: remember to select your time slot when booking!

The room facilities are great, and the room is clean and hygienic. The front desk service is excellent. It was a very comfortable stay, and I'll definitely come back next time.

This hotel boasts a beautiful, classic European style and magnificent architecture, all thoughtfully designed by the owner. It truly embodies grandeur and luxury. Many of the architectural details and antique pieces are imported from France, offering high artistic beauty and collection value. The overall service was exceptional, with parking available and a doorman to greet you. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. Around midnight, the WiFi seemed to cut out, but the room's soundproofing was excellent. The price was reasonable and offered great value for money – a wonderful experience. The shower area was fully automated, which the kids found fascinating. There were welcome fruits and afternoon tea, making us feel right at home. You can even order takeout, and a delivery robot brings it directly to your room. It's conveniently located just around the corner from Central Street's Qingzhi Hand Cream shop, which was very handy. When guests leave, there are taxis lined up, so there's no delay in travel time. Getting to the train station and home was easy. It only takes an hour to get to Harbin from our home, so it felt like staying right near our own doorstep. My little one loved the candies and chocolates from Central Street. The hotel front desk even gave my child some Russian candies when we left. In the evening, a staff member offered a special explanation of the antique architecture and art. It's truly a wonderful little escape from busy life, where you can temporarily forget your worries and even enjoy a deep sleep amidst a hectic schedule. I loved the welcome fruits, coffee, and complimentary drinks in the room. My child called it a 'fully automated high-end hotel' and absolutely loved it. The value for money is quite high; I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is very easy to get to and located right where the Chinese Baroque street is. The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and does not smell. The amenities are well equipped. The beddings are clean and comfortable. The O.A Smith water dispenser was very convenient and easy to use. The lighting control was easy to use and scene settings were thoughtful. The room was equipped with Xiao Du AI voice control which was nice to have. Overall the experience was very pleasant. Would recommend.

The location is fantastic, very convenient for taxis, and just a two-minute walk to Central Avenue. The room facilities are pretty standard, but the breakfast ingredients are good, and the afternoon tea service is a thoughtful touch. Overall, it's a hotel with good value for money.

This was my first stay at Manxin Hotel, and the location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Saint Sophia Cathedral, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. I spoke with the front desk about changing to a room facing the cathedral, but due to the room type, it wasn't possible. However, the overall service was excellent, and all my requests were promptly addressed. The only drawback was that during the heating season, the room temperature was too high. Even with the heater turned off, it remained stuffy, and staying in it for too long made me feel lightheaded. Fortunately, I discussed this with the front desk, and they provided some ice for the humidifier, which helped alleviate the issue.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations! From the moment I checked in, every staff member greeted me with a warm smile, making me feel incredibly welcome, just like being at home. The room layout was convenient and very comfortable, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Breakfast was also fantastic. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Harbin! Such a delightful experience!
