Hotels With breakfast in Sardinia, Italy

A short walk from the Santa Gallura ARST drop off in the centre of Olbia to the Hotel. It is modern, spotlessly clean, comfortable with a lovely pool area and a spa. It was close to the rail station to catch the train to Cagliari. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and one excellent English especially a young lady named Sofia. We enjoyed an excellent buffet breakfast in a vast unusual dining room auditorium. Tea/coffee making facilities would have made our stay perfect. You get what you pay for. Has all the basics, no frills. Staff friendly and assisted with my case as there is no lift. TV remote was temperamental, reported this and was told I would be getting a replacement the next day, no replacement forthcoming but wasn’t a big deal as only Italian channels. Coffee machine in the room was pre-filled with water but coffee pods have to be purchased separately.  The wash basin had cracks, the shower was initially hit but soon went quite cool almost cold. The white bath towel had marks on it! The double bed was made up from 2 single mattresses which were not adjoined therefore, mid sleep the two parted company by some 6 inches .The street is reasonably quiet evening time however, early morning sees the nearby businesses empty the previous evening empty bottles into the bin directly positioned below my room. There is also a school nearby where the little ones gather waiting for the doors to open, the excited chatter didn’t bother me but it might some people. Great location for good shops/restaurants/cafes, train and buses and easy walk to the beautiful Marina.

We stayed for 2 nights because we had a catamaran tour day booked from the marina: We loved the orange and blue interior of the Junior suite which was spotless and well appointed. As ports go, it is nice port to have a view of from the balcony (over the car park). It was October and we had no problem parking directly in front of the hotel in the public parking for €12 a day and it was therefore also a quiet sleep. Reception were very courteous and efficient checking us in and recommending restaurants after we found out that La Gritta had closed for the season already. The location could not be more convenient for bars restaurants and shops too which suited us very well as we were in a road trip and it’s sometimes nice to ditch the car on arrival. The breakfast buffet was extensive especially the variety of pastries but there was also scrambled eggs and bacon which we had not seen in other hotels. The breakfast coffee was from a machine and not as nice as when it is made by a barista during the breakfast service elsewhere.

T Hotel is a typical business-oriented hotel, well suited for corporate travelers, conferences, and short stays. The rooms are comfortable, the facilities are adequate, and the overall experience is generally satisfactory. However, I would recommend avoiding the hotel during peak periods, especially when large conferences or events are taking place. During these times, the property can become extremely crowded, which negatively impacts the guest experience. The breakfast service is the area that most needs improvement. While the selection is acceptable, the breakfast area struggles to cope with high occupancy levels. When the hotel is full, the dining room becomes noisy, chaotic, and overcrowded, making it difficult to enjoy a relaxed start to the day. Better organization and additional staffing during busy periods would significantly enhance the experience. Overall, T Hotel is a decent business hotel, but it performs best outside peak conference seasons, when guests can enjoy a quieter and more comfortable stay.

Hotel is right in front of a big beach. Super not touristy and crowded beach and the scenery is very soft and calming. There is a cat and dog at the hotel that just walks around freely. They are both very friendly and fun to play with !!! As for the rooms, it is decently big for a 3 person room. Toilet is clean with enough amenities. Water pressure of the shower head is a bit weak sometimes but still ok. The beds are comfortable enough. However, there are quite a bit of insects flying around (I assume mostly because of the location of the hotel being near the beach and sandy areas). Restaurant at the hotel is quite good ! Dinner menu has a wide variety but availability of dishes depend on the day. As for breakfast, quite a handful of food is given like fruit platter, crossaints, yogurt, cereal, and choice of drinks. Staff are also friendly and understand English just enough, and are helpful when we ask something. Hotel area is quite small but honestly just enough for a short stay.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, well thought breakfast...whether arriving by ferry, plane or train easy to reach, awesome roof terrace, gorgeous room, close to attractions - except the amazing beaches are a little trip to reach 😀

We absolutely loved our stay at Il Nuovo Gabbiano. The location is fantastic, right next to the port and in the centre of everything. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away! The view from the balcony was incredible with stunning views of the sea and mountains. Despite it being right next to the port, noise was minimal. Breakfast was extra at €14pp each day however we chose to buy juice and pastries from the nearby supermarket to have out on the balcony every morning. The room was fairly big and contained a mini bar (only containing bottles of water) and coffee/tea making facilities. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. There’s no parking, however we parked in the port across the road for €6 per day. We came later in the day so we managed to find a spot, it gets quite packed early morning. The hotel restaurant does great food, I would recommend the Sardinian ravioli with potatoes and cheese!

Very basic, affordable and good place for a rest. Bit far from the city center. Staff super friendly, honorable mention to the girl that runs in the bar, I was late for breakfast and she was kind enough to provide coffee and pastry. Also the gentleman at the lobby very kind and quite easy to check in.

I loved the location - near Lidls (perfect for stocking up for beach trips). Also near Decathalon. But they gave us 2 single beds and we were on a honeymoon claiming I had requested it. Their system is getting orders mixed up, as my actual request they didn't have in their system. Breakfast is decent, scrambled eggs every day which were good, but as someone who doesn't eat meat would be good for more choices. There were croissants, yoghurt, water. I'd stay here again. I also used their turkish steam spa which was lovely - easy to book in your time. Room decent size too.

We had an amazing stay at your hotel in Sardinia! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The hotel itself was beautifully clean and well-maintained, making our stay even more enjoyable. But what really made our stay stand out was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always willing to lend a hand and made us feel right at home. We would highly recommend your hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Sardinia.
