Room are clean, well maintained and spacious (room facing Garden). The Dam and Fish Ladder is just 20mins walk from the hotel.
Thank you Fisher team!
Surprisingly, this store has been around for more than 300 years.
Very attractive to silver hair people from all directions
Stayed for 3 nights and got along well with grandparents
The price is right, it is a very good experience.
This hotel is in a great location, very close to the riverside and the museum...
On arrival we were allocated a very small, went back to reception and this was sorted. My gripe is the now ÂŁ10.00 per day parking charge. However you can park elsewhere for free. This will now make choosing the Angus hotel as not a first option as the main reason for going is the spa facilities unfortunately they are now getting tired and in need of TLC as is the hotel.
What a lovely weekend stay at this most characterful resort hotel. A great vibe among the team leading to a friendly, professional and courteous guest experience from arrival and check-in, to dining, evening of drinks around the real fire and a beautiful breakfast following a comfortable restful night in a clean room and lovely freshen up shower in the morning. Thank you Team Atholl Palace, you provided us with an exemplary experience of Scottish Highland hospitality, Iain Sutherland
Very nice scenic, good for couples or family to relax, enjoy the nature and the sun. Restaurantâs food is in good quality. Good selection of drinks. Room was a bit old with old carpet and bed. Probably need renovation. Evaluator not working so we need to take the stairs with our luggageâs.
We enjoyed are stay at Mercure in Perth
It was central, yet quiet.
The room was comfortable and clean.
The staff were pleasant and helpful.
We also liked the hotel bar, a nice cosy atmosphere.
We would definitely stay there again.

This venue is really a hidden gem up to a point , the Chef and kitchen ( paticularly the Haddock and Poached Eggs at Breakfast which is Michelin Star level ) the spa and swimming pool are kept to a good standard of hygene , however there is a serious problem with service which is evident from the staff behind the bar ( Saturday 4th May to be specific ) where it was plainly evident for all of the guests seated in the lounge to witness the grief that was being given to the Restaurant Host and other waiting staff by the two individulas behind the bar who were making their life's a misery by poor attitude and unhelpfulness when rightfully they were chasing restaurant drink orders which were painfully slow on deliverance attributed totally to the ineptness of the bar staff . Its about time that Providence Hotels boss Mr Neil Hughes and Blantyre Capital and Fairtree Alternative Real Estate were made aware of this as it is not fair on the efforts made by the other staff who are being dragged down needlessly by the bar staffs under performance , ineptness and demeanour .
We had a small cute, comfortable, quiet old-fashioned room. Slept well. Everything was nice and clean. Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and great family service. Wood book again. Thank you

GGuest UserA lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade.
Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too.
The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax.
Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated.

RRosemary CameronThe hotel promotes itself as Dog friendly but it only accommodated dogs in the annex bedroom. Dogs are not allowed in any part of the main hotel reception, dining area etc so itâs not really a dog friendly hotel. As owners our movements were restricted as it wasnât appropriate to leave our dog in an unfamiliar location unsupervised as he became very distressed. Dog friendly hotels usually allow owners to bring dogs into reception areas and dining areas. If I knew this was not possible I would never have booked. On a positive note the young man Rory working in the dining room gave a great standard of service, listened to our concerns and couldnât be anymore attentive. It is important to highlight this and obvious how hard he was working whilst we where theređ please note the photo uploaded was taken in another local dog friendly hotel âMckaysâ which did actually allow dogs in the bar and communal areas as it should be.

Ratings for all except service based on website. rating on SERVICE based on experience
for reasons entirely out of my control, I had to cancel my stay 24hrs beforehand. I called to let them know. I advised I had to cancel and the reply was (word for word)
â ok , that's still chargeableâ. NO ' I'm sorry to hear that' NO âmaybe we can find another date so you don't lose your moneyâ... no ' we can't refund you but do you want a credit on account'.
if I'd have phoned 12 hours earlier my money would have been refunded or I could have amended my booking.
the blame was put on TRIP as I was told ' you booked through them and they wont help you.
So I'll be avoiding this place when I go up for my trip, and I'd advise others to avoid places with staff as uninterested as here.
GGuest UserOn arrival we had a warm welcome with complimentary drinks and shown to our gorgeous room. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.
The added extras and attention to detail were exquisite and in my book should be a 5 star hotel.
Everything from the food and drink to the surroundings was absolutely beautiful.
Also don't worry about taking wellies as they can be provided along with dry robes.
Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here and will be back.

GGuest UserTwo bedrooms, two bathrooms, divided into upper and lower floors, with a large balcony where you can dine on the balcony table! It has its own parking space, which is convenient for parking. The lawn is very large, suitable for parents and children to hang out! The location is a bit remote, but the overall environment is very goodđ
