"Travelodge wouldn’t have been a bad memory except for TRIP that made it a horrible one for me , I definitely sure this would be my last dealing with them.
Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) .
I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the staff at breakfast were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included in the price, which made the stay even better value.
There is a huge open field and a very clean river right next to the hotel. You can see people practising rowing, and walking along both sides of the river is really relaxing. There are also mallards and swans nearby, and you can buy special swan food from the hotel bar to feed them.
I originally chose this place because the town is close to Cambridge and the price was reasonable, but I ended up really enjoying the town itself. With such a beautiful location, good service, and affordable price, this hotel is definitely great value for money.

YutongMonicaThe environment is great, and the location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the boating dock! The hotel's own restaurant has a wonderful ambiance! However, the front desk service was mediocre, and there was no notification that breakfast times differ between weekdays and weekends. There's no bellhop service either. The dinner at the restaurant was just so-so, and the breakfast selection was limited, with unappetizing fruit. The restaurant service was also subpar.

WoerwosixiahouweiA dream hotel! This was my absolute favorite hotel during my UK trip, bar none. The rooms are exquisite. We booked two rooms this time, a loft suite and a king room. The price difference wasn't huge, but the suite was incredible – it had a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom, it was fantastic. The air conditioning worked great, and the breakfast was delicious. It's about 1km from Cambridge University, easily accessible. There are temporary parking spots out front, and overnight parking in the basement, so no worries there.
Two points for domestic travelers to note:
1. The EV charging station app in the basement cannot be downloaded or used by iPhones in mainland China or Hong Kong. Friends with electric cars should be aware of this.
2. The immediate area isn't particularly safe. When I went to the supermarket, I noticed that the people around seemed a bit questionable, especially if you go further north. For those concerned about safety, just avoid wandering around the area at night. The hotel itself is excellent and meets most needs.

This is a very old hotel, the hotel is a bit old, but the room is large, the hotel is good, the only drawback is that there is no elevator on the second floor, but the overall stay experience is still good, the best choice for family travel, facilities are also very good!

60+peipeijieThe hotel is right next to Cambridge train station, which made getting around super easy. The weather was quite hot, but the room temperature was comfortable and controllable with the air conditioning. It was also quiet, with no disturbances. However, when I woke up in the morning, I found a small fly in the room, which was a bit off-putting. The window was closed, so I'm not sure how it got in.

Belén HuangFacilities: The room was great, with a super beautiful view right outside the window. The entire hotel felt very historic and full of character. However, there's no elevator, which could be a hassle if you have large luggage.
Service: Huge thanks to the two staff members who helped carry our luggage up and down the stairs. The front desk staff's overall service attitude was decent.
Location: It's very close to the Cambridge community, making it quite convenient for getting around.

Travel with rachelThe hotel was nice and clean feel £10 to park the car was a bit high, the staff was friendly but would not say the most helpful. did have a issue with another couple staying there they damaged my car by slamming there car door into mine I was sitting in the bar area and watched them do it the staff did nothing about this which is bad when they charge that for u to park ur car

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from the train and bus stations, making it super convenient for getting to Cambridge city center and even London. They also have a gym and a pool, which I didn't get a chance to use this time due to my short stay, but I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Cambridge.

NicS74Stayed 3 nights so that we could visit family and friends in the area. Booked a twin room which had adequate space for 2 of us and separate area with small table and chairs if needed. Beds were comfortable and the room was warm (once I was shown how to activate the heating) Unfortunately the bathroom was very cold as the hotel boiler needed repair so the radiator wasn’t working. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is quite dated and in need of an upgrade which is on the planning. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially when I realised I’d left my own personal pillow on the bed. They tracked it down and a friend collected for me the next day. Definitely stay agin when next in the area.
