We booked the cheapest room with ”no windows” as we were going for a more budget friendly room, and it ended up being the best choice possible. Our room had in fact a window, just no view on the valley, which we did not care for. We stayed in building 5 and it was PERFECT. It was right beside the reception so it means we could walk directly to the front desk, to the breakfast buffet, to the gate entrance for Didi and to the valley. For 3 days, we never had to use the shuttle which is very convenient considering the bad reviews about the shuttles and the long wait times (for people who stay in a building further away). We had the cheapest room and it ended up being the best room in our opinion, so convenient. Our concierge was Xiao Kang and she was very helpful during our stay for all the little questions that we had. The breakfast buffet was very good. The cleaning service was regular. We enjoyed some time in the pool as well. We are so happy we chose this resort directly in the valley, it was perfect.

Fengzhen Hotel (Shangrao High-Speed Railway Station Branch) boasts an excellent location, just about a 10-minute walk from the high-speed railway station. The rooms are spacious and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding is comfortable. The service is warm and attentive, with staff actively offering assistance. Amenities include a car park, a laundry room, and a rich breakfast spread. It offers great value for money, making it an ideal choice for travelers visiting Shangrao. Highly recommended!

My 2-night stay at Yangxian Village, Wangxian Valley felt like stepping into a living Chinese fantasy painting hidden between the mountains. Waking up surrounded by misty peaks and hearing the peaceful sounds of the valley made time slow down for a while. The atmosphere at night was magical with lights reflecting across the valley and the entire place feeling almost unreal. The hotel breakfast is delicious and sumptuous! A mixture of Chinese and Western styles. The village itself has many food options, performances, and activities, so there was always something to explore without feeling bored. After walking around the scenic areas, it was also nice to see bars and KTV spots available for people who wanted to relax at night. The environment balances both peaceful scenery and lively entertainment quite well. The room was comfortable and clean, and overall the stay experience was satisfying. One small area for improvement would be the TV channels, as channels after 25 were quite lagging when watching at night. It could also be interesting if the resort considered adding services like leg massages after long walks around the valley. I think many travellers would appreciate that after exploring the mountain areas. Overall, staying inside Wangxian Valley was more than just accommodation; it felt like being immersed inside the scenery itself. Definitely a memorable and unique experience.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The front desk and room service staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location is super convenient, right next to a subway station, and there's a bus stop in the middle of the road. It's also very close to the train station. All the surrounding amenities are great – plenty of restaurants and supermarkets for anything you need. Overall, it's excellent value for money. If I come to Nanchang again, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless, well-ventilated, and smelled fresh, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The hotel's hot water system was consistently reliable, so showering was always convenient. The staff were patient and attentive; they responded quickly to requests and handled issues professionally and thoughtfully. Overall, it's excellent value for money. This will be my first choice for accommodation when traveling, and I highly recommend it!

A Wonderful Stay – Special Thanks to Zoey (曾曾)! We had a fantastic experience at this Holiday Inn Express from start to finish. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, exactly what we needed after long days of travel. We slept beautifully each night. The service throughout the hotel was excellent, but we especially want to highlight the receptionist, Zoey (曾曾), who went above and beyond for us. We asked about arranging a day tour to Wangxian Valley (望仙谷) on very short notice, and Zoey handled everything with impressive efficiency and warmth. She organised the trip seamlessly, made sure we had all the details we needed, and stayed in touch to ensure everything went smoothly. She turned what could have been a stressful logistical headache into one of the highlights of our stay. 非常感谢曾曾的热心帮助！Thank you, Zoey, and the whole team. We’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Let's start with the downsides: 1. The room facilities are clearly aging, including the toilet, shower, and small sofa. The deluxe river-view twin room I stayed in on the 2nd/3rd night had even worse facilities than the executive king room on the first night. 2. The housekeeping department lacks basic amenities like a step stool for children (they said it's only provided for family rooms). 3. Soundproofing isn't great. If your room is a bit close to the elevator lobby, it can get quite noisy. 4. Adjusting the air conditioning temperature didn't seem to have any effect, though the overall comfort was still acceptable. Now for the highlights: 1. The river-facing rooms offer an unbeatable view. The scenery is even more beautiful than in the photos. 2. From a tourist perspective, the location is excellent. Tengwang Pavilion and Dashiyuan are very close, and Wanshou Palace is also within walking distance. 3. The breakfast quality is decent, with a wide variety of options, including many local Nanchang specialties. The view from the restaurant windows during breakfast is also fantastic. 4. Although the hotel is tall, the elevators are fast and the water pressure is good, effectively avoiding common high-rise living issues. 5. The staff at the concierge, front desk, customer service, and restaurant are all very enthusiastic and have a great attitude. Other notes: The afternoon tea provided with the executive room on the first day was quite good. However, the welcome fruit platter was only delivered on the third day and wasn't of great quality.

It is late to drive from Shenzhen to Ji'an. I am ready to stay in the national chain. I passed by and saw this star hotel. I found that it was newly opened and rated as four diamonds. The price is much more affordable. I am staying with a mentality worth a try. There are three places on the ground for parking, and there is an underground parking lot the next morning, which is very friendly to self-driving people. The room is very spacious, far beyond the permanent chain, equipped with tea sets, smart sanitary ware, is also the main reason for decisively staying. The breakfast environment on the first floor is very good, and there are four or five tea rooms. After returning in the afternoon, I will rest here. It is very casual and comfortable! The next morning, I found that the hotel was next to the Ji'an Military District and opposite the Ji'an City Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. After breakfast, go out and stroll around. Since you walk to Rulinli and Nengren Lane in 10 minutes, you can walk to the riverside. Another treasure hotel found by accident, recommended!

Stunning River View, Enchanting Nights – An Unforgettable Stay This stay far exceeded my expectations; if I had to describe it in one word, it would be 'breathtaking.' First, I have to rave about the river view! The room offered an unparalleled vista, directly facing the wide river. Watching the sparkling river during the day instantly lifted my spirits, and at night, it was simply a visual feast. What impressed me most was the night view across the river. As dusk settled, the buildings on the opposite bank lit up magnificently. The dazzling lights reflected in the water, creating what looked like a flowing galaxy. The hotel service was also incredibly thoughtful. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing for a peaceful sleep after enjoying the beautiful scenery. If you're looking for a unique romantic getaway or want to bring family and friends to see a spectacular light show, this place is absolutely the top choice. The next time I visit this city, I'll undoubtedly choose to stay here again!

This 12-day Chinese New Year family trip, Shangri-La Nanchang was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The tram downstairs goes directly to all the major popular attractions. What truly impressed me was the service; they genuinely made us feel at home. Check-in was very thoughtful. They proactively arranged our two rooms together and patiently explained why there was a connecting room in between (due to the king-size bed layout). They also meticulously inquired about all our needs. On the day we left, our child wasn't feeling well and fell asleep, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 2 PM without any rush or催促, which was particularly heartwarming. The room view was unbeatable, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion from the window. We could even watch the fireworks display from our room, and the staff even proactively reminded us to tune the TV to the music channel to accompany the viewing. Additionally, the robot delivery for takeout was very prompt, and the buffet dinner was affordable, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes. The overall experience was impeccable, highly recommended!
