The room was very spacious and had two bathrooms. We came with kids, and during the New Year's Day holiday, rooms were scarce, so we could only book this suite with a private hot spring. An extra bed would have cost an additional 200, but the sofa in the living room was perfectly sleepable for one person, and they provided bedding for free. The private hot spring in the room was very convenient and relaxing. Parking was easy, and both the front desk and room service were very enthusiastic. We plan to come back during the off-season.

Definitely not a 7-star hotel, more like a 4-star at best. I got bitten by mosquitoes. The breakfast was disappointing, lacking any meat dishes, and nowhere near as good as the Xiangjiang Wenhua Hotel. Their restaurant is on the top floor with great views and a wide variety of food, whereas here, only the Cantonese steamed buns and chicken feet were decent. Parking was convenient. I appreciate that the hotel provided facial cleanser, toner, and mouthwash. However, the tea box had a lot of tea dust and very little tea.

We chose Wangxian Valley purely for a relaxing break, without the pressure of intense sightseeing. Strolling along the flagstone paths, surrounded by mountains and forests, my mind slowly settled. A big thank you to our butler, Huanhuan. I loved both aspects of the valley: the rustic, natural feel during the day, and the incredibly atmospheric night views. Our accommodation was comfortable and made us feel right at home. Huanhuan was straightforward and efficient in her communication, handling everything big and small perfectly, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was a wonderful escape from the daily grind, a chance to truly unwind, and overall, I'm very satisfied with the experience.

Hampton by Hilton Nanchang Stay Review Overview: I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Comfortable Rooms: The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets. 2. Facilities & Amenities: The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay. 3. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables. 4. Service: The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. 5. Location: The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city. The Drawbacks: 1. Room Size: While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped. 2. Limited Dining Options: While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery. 3. Noise: Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers. Who It’s Best For:

This B&B is quite close to Wangxian Valley Scenic Area, and the surroundings are very quiet. The room gets great natural light, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The bedding is soft and comfortable. They even offered to help me carry my many bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful service. We each received a small gift upon check-in, and they offer a shuttle service to the scenic area, which is very convenient. They also helped me find a parking spot, which was a really nice touch. Breakfast was provided via vouchers for a nearby breakfast shop, and it was a good, affordable meal. I would definitely choose this B&B again if I come back to Wangxian Valley.

Hoping for a better night view experience, I booked the Zixiao duplex room with a slide at Yangxian Village almost half a month in advance. The check-in speed and front desk service response were very timely, the environment was great, and the soundproofing was pretty good! Although the bathroom drain was blocked and water seeped back, it was resolved quickly, so the overall feeling was still okay! I even overlooked minor issues like my elderly family member complaining about the noisy dehumidifier at midnight, which led me to unplug the main power. In the subsequent follow-up, I gave a very satisfactory response. However, shortly after, I received a call from the hotel asking if I had touched the dehumidifier, saying that a screw had fallen off, causing the fan blades to stop rotating completely. They asked again if I had touched it. I stated that I had only unplugged the main power, and I saw a 'Please do not move' sticker on it, so I didn't dare to touch it. Furthermore, the white fan blades weren't moving the first time I squatted down to look for the power cord. Although the customer service repeatedly stated that they were just verifying the situation and there would be no subsequent accountability, it still left a bad taste in my mouth. From a tourist's perspective, I still don't understand why such a noisy dehumidifier would be placed in the room. It really affected my rest (or perhaps it was actually quiet before and only became noisy because it was already broken?). Of course, this is just a minor flaw. If not for that phone call afterward, I probably wouldn't have even mentioned this little incident... If the experience were rated out of 10, deducting this minor flaw, I'd give it 9.5 points!

Advantages The B&B is in the mountains, very quiet, the air is very good, the overall decoration is very warm, the room is quite clean, the courtyard is also very comfortable, there are two small swings, the boiled eggs for breakfast are delicious, tender and fragrant, and the white rice porridge is also well cooked. Disadvantages The room is small, the four pillows are very hard, and it is not easy to sleep. There is no TV in the room, and the sound insulation is very poor. Living on the first floor, you can hear the front desk calling when you close the door. I don’t know if the overall environment is too quiet. The bathroom is very cramped. The water temperature was very low when I took a shower around 10 o’clock. It was estimated to be 37 or 38 degrees. The air conditioning effect was not good when I took a cold shower. Glorious cold😷

The guesthouse owner was very helpful. He came to fetch us from the taxi drop-off point at the main road upon our arrival. The guesthouse was very well designed and the room was spacious even for a family. The owner led us to the back entrance to Wuyuan's Huang Ling tourist attraction spot via a shortcut. It's a very memorable stay in this cosy guesthouse.

Disappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest. The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️) There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby. The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it. One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way. Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

Ji Hotel (Lushan Guling Street Ruqin Lake Branch) We brought the family to Lushan for a relaxing trip at the end of the summer holiday and specifically chose this Ji Hotel located in Guling Town. The overall stay was very convenient and suitable for family travel. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service. You just need to call and inform them of your arrival time, and they can pick you up directly from the cable car station. They also provide regular transfers to and from the upper cable car station, Huiyuan Road Station, and Zhengjie Station, saving you the hassle of dragging luggage and making sightseeing and returning to the hotel much easier. The hotel is equipped with washing machines and dryers, which is very convenient for changing clothes during a trip. The front desk staff are very attentive; after clothes are washed, they help dry them, fold them, and bag them, which is very family-friendly. The breakfast offers a good variety, and the taste is decent. The room environment and facilities are consistent with the usual Ji Hotel standards—clean and tidy. Overall, the stay was stable and comfortable with good value for money. It's a reliable choice for a trip to Lushan.
