As someone who frequently stays in hotels, I found the hardware facilities to be good, but the service fell short. My overall experience was not great. Here are a few points I found unsatisfactory: 1. The communication during check-in wasn't pleasant, though they did allow me to check in early. 2. The breakfast quality was decent, but there were too few seats in the restaurant. Having to walk around with my food, searching for and waiting for a table, is something I've rarely encountered. 3. I saw food delivery drivers going directly to guest rooms multiple times. Do they not need a key card to access floors? 4. The toiletries were in wall-mounted dispensers that required a lot of force to use, especially the conditioner. This was particularly difficult for me as I had an injury on my hand. 5. I had confirmed a late checkout until 3 PM via Trip.com. I understand the front desk might not have been aware, and a simple phone confirmation would have sufficed. However, I found their passive-aggressive tone about me not mentioning it proactively to be unprofessional. I won't list other minor issues. Personally, I don't expect hotel staff to be overly enthusiastic, but they shouldn't make guests feel uncomfortable. The 2-star service rating is specifically for the two ladies at the restaurant's front desk around 9:30 AM on the 20th. They were consistently warm and greeted guests throughout my stay, leaving a strong positive impression. On the positive side, the hotel facilities are new, the room layout is good, and the soundproofing is effective. It's located near a plaza or residential buildings, so it's not noisy. The hotel is also very close to Zhangye West Station, and with a parking lot, it's convenient for those traveling by car.

Overall, it's decent, nothing to complain about. Facilities: It has everything you'd expect. Cleanliness: Cleanliness is acceptable. Environment: Located near the Great Buddha Temple, not far from Ming and Qing Street. The hotel's interior decoration is acceptable, but the view from the opposite window is a bit lacking. The room layout is okay, but the bathroom is a little dark. Breakfast is at the Qingguo Hotel behind the hotel; by the way, the lobby of Qingguo is nicely decorated. Breakfast is sufficient, but not very plentiful. However, breakfast starts at 7:30 am, which isn't very friendly for people who need to rush early in the morning. Service: Just so-so, almost non-existent. The package included afternoon tea, but I didn't get to try it, and the front desk didn't mention it.

During check-in and luggage transport, they were always ready to lend a hand. Once settled, they were on call for anything I needed. Whether I wanted hot water in the evening, had questions about camp activities, or needed a car at short notice, their response was always super quick. They were diligent and patient in their work, never just going through the motions. The camp environment is exceptional. You step right out into the vast desert, and the stargazing at night is spectacular. The accommodation itself is clean and comfortable. Overall, my stay was incredibly worry-free and relaxing. For anyone visiting Dunhuang and wanting a desert accommodation experience, I genuinely recommend this place; both the service and the environment are top-notch!

The room decor is clean and elegant, creating a very comfortable living atmosphere. The hotel's location is excellent; it's very convenient for transportation, situated right in the city center. It's close to popular spots like Shazhou Night Market, Huyang Braised Flatbread, and Xiajia Hezhi, so getting around and finding good food is a breeze. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, with a good balance of meat and vegetables, making it great value for money. I also have to commend the front desk service. From check-in to daily inquiries, the staff were all enthusiastic, polite, patient, and responsible. They even gave us a free room upgrade – the service experience was top-notch!

All the glowing reviews online are absolutely true! The room was spotless, warm, and very comfortable. The service was excellent and attentive without being intrusive. Breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. We also appreciated being able to use the clean laundry room to catch up on a few days' worth of washing. Parking was convenient. This hotel offers incredible value for money. We even extended our stay by an extra night!

I have three criteria when booking a hotel: a separate wet/dry shower area, a laundry room, and breakfast. Ibis perfectly met all my requirements, offering a washer, dryer, and detergent. Plus, the washing machines have only two settings, which saves everyone time. In Europe, Ibis is my go-to for budget accommodation, and the Jiayuguan Ibis offers excellent value for money. It's no exaggeration to say it's just a two-minute walk from Jiayuguan Station with your luggage, and multiple bus routes start right outside the hotel. The front desk staff are all very kind and friendly. The room was new, very clean, and had a huge TV. Everything about it was excellent. On top of that, the hotel hosts meetings for large state-owned companies, and you know what that means – it's a good hotel!

The room is great, and the amenities are well worth the price. The cleaning staff (Ayi) is very warm and helpful, accommodating special requests for tidying up. It would be even better if the balcony were cleaner and had outdoor furniture like a table and chairs. The front desk concierge was also quite enthusiastic.

I always stay at this hotel whenever I have a layover in Lanzhou. The free transit accommodation is never available, so I have to book a room. No matter how late I arrive, they're always there to pick me up, and the airport drop-off service is great too. It's very clean and the rooms are spacious.
