My stay completely exceeded my expectations; from the moment I arrived until I left, I truly experienced five-star quality. Service: The staff team was professional and incredibly warm. From the efficient check-in with Rinchen at the front desk, to the detailed guidance from the concierge, and the swift response of housekeeping, everything was impressive! Cleanliness: The room was spotless, the bedding was crisp and white, the bathroom gleamed like new, and not a speck of dirt could be found even in the corners. The防疫 measures were also very thorough. Ambiance: The hotel design was elegant and grand, the lobby was artistic, and the corridors were quiet and cozy. Facilities: The in-room smart control system, high-end bathroom fixtures, and mini-bar setup all demonstrated the hotel's meticulous attention to detail. Highly recommended! [grin]

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Potala Palace. It's also just a few hundred meters, a walkable distance, from Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. The biggest highlight is the view; breakfast is served on the fifth-floor restaurant, offering an expansive and perfect view of the Potala Palace from afar. The night view, in particular, is stunning. Our room was a 180-degree unobstructed view room. While a bit more expensive, the unparalleled scenery makes it the best choice for viewing the Potala Palace from a distance. The breakfast was plentiful with a good variety, including local specialties like tsampa, and delicious butter tea and sweet tea. The room facilities were quite comprehensive, including a dedicated nasal oxygen concentrator. The room also provided complimentary Coca-Cola and glacial bottled water, with refills available, and a fresh fruit platter daily. We even received a small souvenir upon check-in. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Parking is convenient, there's a large courtyard, and the third-floor observation deck offers views of Mount Kailash. The owner is very nice and even upgraded our room. The room has a separate shower and toilet, is fully equipped, and includes a humidifier, heating, and oxygen supply. The oxygen concentrator, in particular, is incredibly powerful and quiet; it was the best night's sleep I had on my entire trip to Tibet. Overall, it's a very good hotel in every aspect.

The surrounding environment is quiet and comfortable, and it is particularly healing from the hustle and bustle. The landlord is kind and easy-going, and the answer is very intimate. The living experience is full. It is really worth everyone to stay!

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the Potala Palace and Lhasa Department Store, and about ten minutes on foot to the Jokhang Temple, passing over the Liuli Bridge. The room facilities are comprehensive, including an oxygen concentrator and charging cables. The decor is also very nice. Breakfast offers a good variety. Right outside, there's a food street with many people queuing for tables, though most of the restaurants serve Sichuan cuisine. The staff are both attractive and have a great attitude.

The people who came to Lhasa to travel have not subsided. The summer vacation has passed, and the winter vacation is coming again. It is really endless. The continuous flow of tourists rush to Tibet. Welcome.

This was my third stay at Thangka, and it has noticeably declined compared to my stays in 2018 and 2023. The main reason I chose it again was its proximity to Jokhang Temple. However, this time I experienced significant and continuous noise at night. The next morning, during breakfast, I realized the noise was coming from a machine in the 4th-floor restaurant or the self-service laundry area. I promptly checked out the next day and informed the front desk. The front desk attendant was very kind and assured me that she would report it immediately. I hope Thangka improves.

The location is great, right on Beijing West Road, making it convenient to the Tibet Museum. However, the facilities are generally dated. If you're looking for something special, avoid this place. It's clear it was a decent hotel 10 years ago.
