I traveled during the May Day holiday, avoiding the peak crowd, and my highly anticipated Huangshan trip was absolutely perfect. I originally planned to stay at a hotel on Bright Summit, but I changed it at the last minute the day before my hike. I'm so glad I chose Baiyun Hotel! The five-star service was impeccable – they provided foot soak tubs, shoe dryers, flashlights, and even down jackets. In the evening, they thoughtfully delivered fruit, and the 'Wogan' mandarins were incredibly sweet. The breakfast was also very rich and varied. Just a small suggestion: two bottles of water in the room felt a bit scarce, and the 160 CNY dinner buffet wasn't as good as breakfast; it could definitely be improved. Manager Xiao Min was excellent, and the self-directed performances by everyone were fantastic.

The location is great, right on Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street, making shopping very convenient. There's a Kawangka and a Zhan Ji downstairs, and it's super close to the Former Residence of Li Hongzhang. Subway access is also very easy, just a few minutes walk, and there are large shopping malls nearby. The hotel's front desk service was excellent; anything I requested was delivered quickly. The Chinese breakfast options were hot and delicious, which was a definite plus. Being on a high floor, it was very quiet, and I slept really well. Areas for improvement: When I brought my own sheets, they weren't neatly made up. The Western breakfast selection was limited, and the small bed in the family room had a rather basic headboard. I hope they continue to improve and get even better. Hefei is definitely worth a visit!

Facilities: We were upgraded from Block B to Block A, and the facilities were excellent. There's a dryer, which was a lifesaver! My waterproof jacket was really stuffy, so I dried it right after checking in, which made hiking later much more comfortable. The shower pressure was better than expected; the water flow was strong, which I wasn't anticipating. Toiletries, including toothbrushes and combs, were all provided, even though the booking page said they weren't, so we brought our own unnecessarily. Service: After checking in, a concierge added me on WeChat and sent important notices, including sunrise and sunset times. However, watching the sunset from Danxia Peak wasn't great; I climbed up with a lot of effort and waited for half an hour, only to see a tiny silhouette.

The facilities are complete, odorless, and relatively clean. The mini-bar drinks in the room are complimentary. Upon check-in, they provided slippers and a kaleidoscope for the child, as well as a welcome fruit platter. When checking out, we received a bag of souvenirs. The restaurant on the first floor offers a wide variety of dishes, and all the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant, are incredibly friendly. Thumbs up! 👍 My child had a great time! 🥳 Food delivery is brought up to the room by a robot, which is a nice touch. It would be even better if the scent in the hallway was a bit milder.

I'm giving this five stars. First, let me address the downsides: 1. Hotels in Huangshan are incredibly expensive during holidays. It was 2000 RMB a night during the Qingming Festival. The buffet is 180 RMB, and kids under 140cm are half price. So, check your wallet first. 2. This hotel is great for kids, but there's no elevator, so seniors will have to walk up several flights of stairs. Now for the advantages: 1. It's expensive for a reason. Firstly, the hotel is relatively new and well-equipped. You have to remember that Bright Summit is at an altitude of 1860 meters, and all along the way, I saw porters carrying supplies. It's incredibly difficult to transport so many goods to the mountaintop. During holidays, when it's crowded, finding a comfortable hotel and spending two days hiking Huangshan is truly rejuvenating. 2. The kids loved it! The hotel has a great design. Right outside our room on the fourth floor, there was a Mario character sitting there, which my son adored. The arcade machines in the lobby are free, and kids were constantly gathered around them. Even adults from the '80s generation would spend ages playing. 3. I thought the 180 RMB buffet was pretty good; all the dishes tasted great. The cured meats like bacon and sausage were very authentic, and there was fermented tofu (Mao Doufu) and many other local specialties. The food was genuinely delicious. After a day of hiking, you're ravenous, and I ate a lot of short ribs, prawns, and warm kudzu powder (with a bit of fried rice, honey, and raisins – a real comfort for my stomach). I especially loved their pie-like pastry; it was so good, with preserved vegetables inside and what seemed like highland barley flour for the crust. My son is 140cm, so he got half price, making it 270 RMB for both of us, which is actually cheaper than ordering à la carte outside. 4. Originally, I wanted to stay at Bright Summit and Baiyun Pavilion to catch the sunrise. However, Danxia Peak near Paiyunlou offers excellent sunrise and sunset views, and crucially, it's less crowded and very close by. The hotel's 'little butler' (concierge) told me the sunrise and sunset times, with a 55% chance of seeing them. We were incredibly lucky during our stay and witnessed both morning and evening, leaving very satisfied. 5. From here, the next day, you can go to the West Sea Grand Canyon, take the small train, and then head down the mountain. Taste: Good Ambiance: Beautiful Service: Attentive

Had a great stay at the hotel! The view from the window was lovely, and I really enjoyed the free indoor heated pool. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 What really stood out was the beautiful large lawn in the park downstairs, and the Kangxi River trail was perfect for jogging while enjoying the scenery on both banks. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around, and the service was excellent. A special shout-out to the front desk staff for being so thoughtful and attentive – they even upgraded my room! This will definitely be my first choice again next time.

Stayed at the renowned Beihai Hotel after its renovation. The environment and hygiene are excellent, though the room was a bit small. Being a mountain hotel, there was no sign of dampness, and the room had a pleasant incense aroma. The bar offered thoughtful service, providing a quiet and comfortable spot for our team. The butler's attentive service helped us understand the hotel's benefits, especially organizing activities for sunrise and sunset, which significantly enhanced our mountain-top experience.

My stay at the Lu'an eLong Hotel was absolutely perfect, and I have to give it a thumbs up! First of all, the location is fantastic, with convenient transportation to both the train station and the city's shopping districts. The hotel's exterior is grand and stylish, and the lobby boasts a modern and minimalist design. The service deserves praise. From the front desk staff to the room service staff, everyone was incredibly welcoming and professional. Check-in was quick, and they thoughtfully inquired about our preferences and needs, making us feel right at home.

Before my business trip, I checked the ratings on Ctrip, and they were all quite good. What really surprised me was that a staff member called beforehand to ask if I had any any special requests for the room, and they made sure everything was arranged in advance. I requested a higher floor, and after checking in, they kindly arranged both rooms for us on the 7th floor. The view was excellent, and on the day of arrival, they even delivered some fruit – the service was truly exceptional. The room facilities were all very complete, and the soundproofing was excellent; it was very quiet at night, perfect for sleeping. The nearby Yinhu Park is a great option for an evening stroll. The breakfast selection was also very rich, and getting around was convenient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. Highly recommended!

Came here specifically for Jolin Tsai's concert, and my bestie and I chose this hotel for our weekend getaway. The overall experience far exceeded our expectations! Self check-in was super convenient, no waiting in line, and the lobby decoration was grand and stylish. The room was spacious, with a projector, toiletries, and a desk and chair all provided. The whole room was smart-controlled by Xiao Ai for lighting, and the natural light was excellent. It felt very spacious and well-designed, perfectly meeting our needs and making us feel very comfortable. The hotel is right next to the subway station, just a few minutes directly to the South Station, making travel incredibly convenient. The location is excellent, we really picked the right hotel! In the evening, we walked to the popular pedestrian street for photos, and it was very vibrant. Staying at this hotel made me really satisfied with the entire city of Hefei. There are tons of food options downstairs. The surrounding environment is fantastic, and there's a huge Metro supermarket right across the street. The breakfast had a rich variety and tasted great. The front desk staff were attentive and enthusiastic, and there were even welcome goodie bags and afternoon tea, which tasted amazing. For just over 200 yuan, the value for money is incredible! I've already recommended it to friends who are planning trips. Whenever I come to Hefei for concerts in the future, I'll definitely choose this hotel!
