The hotel front desk service is warm and thoughtful; the location is superior and the transportation is convenient! I stay in this hotel every time I come! The hotel is relatively clean, tidy, sanitary and comfortable! The breakfast is also rich! Not bad👍

“Far up the cold mountain, a stone path slants; where white clouds rise, there are homes.” My child recited Du Mu's poem 'Mountain Travel' in third grade. I told him we'd stay where the white clouds rise on our trip to Huangshan – at the Baiyun Hotel. It's about 500 meters down from Bright Summit. This is the absolute center of Huangshan. We booked here because my child loves the log cabin style rooms. Plus, the rooms at Baiyun Hotel have windows! Service: From check-in to check-out, the same staff member assisted me throughout. They were warm and attentive, even providing fruit and foot soak packets. After a day of hiking, soaking my feet before bed was incredibly comfortable. Amenities: There's heating! And you can do laundry! My son's stinky socks, haha, dried in no time on the heating rack. Laundry detergent was also provided. There's a smart toilet and a complete makeup mirror set. If only there were disposable toilet seat covers, that would be even better, haha. Cleanliness: Nothing to complain about regarding the cleanliness at Baiyun Hotel. Excellent. Note! If you stay at Baiyun Hotel, you can head to Aoyu Peak around 4 PM. After 4 PM, there are hardly any tourists, so we had the entire Aoyu Peak to ourselves! Aoyu Peak isn't far from Baiyun Hotel, just a ten-minute walk.

This hotel is on top of Mount Huangshan. After a day of hiking, it was great to stay a night and recharge. The package I booked included a buffet dinner, and the food was excellent. They also gave a little gift bag (with coffee, snacks, and a night light), which was a thoughtful touch. Over the two days, I saw Huangshan in both clear sunshine and misty rain – two completely different vibes, both incredibly beautiful.

Extremely satisfied! The room was very spacious, perfect for friends to gather for tea and chats. Being on the 45th-55th floor, we had a fantastic night view. The room also included Executive Lounge access and breakfast, both of which were excellent and plentiful. A special shout-out to Joanna and the butler service; they were incredibly responsive to every request. We ordered a lot of takeout during our two-night stay, and the concierge staff went above and beyond to repeatedly help us retrieve it – truly amazing! As out-of-town visitors, this experience definitely added to our positive impression of Hefei.

The environment is great, the rooms are spacious, the views are beautiful, and the breakfast spread is very rich. The staff are also very polite and friendly to guests. However: 1) There were children continuously screaming loudly in the gym, and no staff came to manage them. 2) The breakfast restaurant was very crowded on the weekend. The hosts should have been prepared earlier to control the flow of people. Today, after being let in, there were no empty tables, and guests were still being let in continuously afterward. It was chaotic, and everyone stood around, unsure of what to do. 3) A child kept dragging their chair while eating, making a lot of noise, and no staff member came to inquire about what was happening.

The service is OK and handled in a timely manner. Let's focus on breakfast! Two days include breakfast. There is a conflict between the children's breakfast fare when checking in on the day and the actual payment on the second day. The staff explained that it was the difference between booking on the day and booking in advance. The fruit in the restaurant is on the edge. The fruit on the first and second days is exactly the same, but the watermelon on the second day is sour (could it be left over from the previous day?). Also, during the meal, I saw an elementary school student picking up food with his bare hands in the snack area and putting it back, repeatedly. This is not good... This is a bit... The taste is salty, suitable for friends with heavy tastes. Overall, the experience is average. Thanks to the concierge yuanyuan in the lobby on the first floor today (the badge is too small to see what is written, only the pronunciation of the introduction)

From the moment I arrived, the customer service at the Shangri-La Hotel in Hefei was impeccable, with staff anticipating every need. My room was a sanctuary of cleanliness, where every surface gleamed and the linens were freshly pressed. The attention to detail extended to the immaculate pool and wellness area, which provided a truly luxurious escape. This hotel masterfully combines warm hospitality, an unbeatable setting, and flawless upkeep for an unforgettable stay. Western breakfast buffet and their buffet dinner was dangerously delicious 🤗. From the outside, it looks like a regular traditional hotel. The room is neither big nor small, and there is no sofa, but it is enough for one person. The service attitude is good. Soon after arriving at the room, milk and biscuits were delivered. Although they were from the end of 2023, they were still within the shelf life. I was watching TV at night and there was a sudden power outage. After calling the front desk, the power came back after a while. I wonder if the front desk set the room card incorrectly? Or is there something wrong with the room card insertion facility? There is no weak current socket, so the mobile phone and power bank cannot be charged at the same time. The breakfast is good. Although there are not many meat dishes, the staple food is rich and colorful.

Facilities: This hotel was renovated just 2.5 years ago, so all the facilities are brand new. It's the closest hotel to the Yunggu Cable Car. However, the room was very small and cramped. While I understand that's common for hotels on the mountain, the renovation smell was incredibly strong. It was everywhere – in the hallways and in the room. Closing the window was a real struggle due to the smell. On the plus side, the underfloor heating was wonderfully warm, not cold at all, which was a huge bonus. Cleanliness: Generally very good. Environment: It's just 50 meters from 'Dreamland Brush' and 'Pen Holder Mountain', and 400 meters from 'Monkeys Watching the Sea'. The hotel provides a guide to take guests to see the sunrise and sunset in the morning and evening, and they take you to excellent viewing spots. Service: The service was fantastic. The concierge constantly updated us with various information, was always responsive to requests, and provided timely reminders. They also helped with activity bookings. During peak dining hours, you get a number, and they call you when your table is ready. The room even had down jackets, which were essential for watching the sunset in the evening. Complimentary activities: Dual tickets to Huashan Grottoes (excluding the puzzle-solving part): This is in Tunxi, an hour's bus ride after descending the mountain, so we didn't go. Cultural experience activities (Song-style tea ceremony/traditional incense making/Hanfu experience): Some require reservations, which the concierge will help with. Two cups of Qimen Black Tea or Huangshan Maofeng Tea: Available for experience at the tea bar.
