Great hotel, great location and excellent front of house reception team with a warm welcome. Rooms are large but need a refurbishment as looking a tad worn and tatty. I understand that some refurbishment is in progress to the rooms and restaurant. Beware: our holding deposit had not been returned after we checked out on June. 11, even though there was no spend on the room. Even after 8 days, I cannot get my deposit returned - so recommend you insist on a return on checkout.

Basement or 1st floor rooms have mold issues, hotel has a long standing drainage problems due to its proximity on a hill, they probably never should have made basement units, lol, so just ask for a room floors 2-4 and all will be fine. Its one of the best locations for visit to the Toronto area, check out the beautiful lakeside parks in the area, a short drive will. bring you to the history and beauty of Oakville and its efforts to retain its historical roots. I had no issues when I asked to move out of the basement, they completely understood my concerns. Oakville is a gem and I hope it retains its low density feel and they avoid the huge condo developments that lead to congestion issues.

The service, amenities, and dining all meet a certain standard. It only takes about 25 minutes to drive from the airport to the hotel, yet the hotel is located in the city center. I stayed in room 408 and initially thought it might be noisy being on a lower floor, but it turned out to be quite good. A special shout-out goes to Ms. Monira from housekeeping; whenever I returned, she had already quietly tidied and cleaned the room perfectly. What's even more impressive is that she would arrange my belongings according to my habits, which is incredibly thoughtful and personalized. She is a very responsible and meticulous employee. I will definitely choose Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre by IHG again next time I visit my daughter in Toronto.

The price was reasonable, and the room was clean with no unpleasant odors. My roommates were also very considerate. There are shops and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to order takeout and late-night snacks. The dining area was also kept very clean.

This was our first time staying at Americana and we are very pleased with the experience. We drove 3 hours from northern Ontario and it was worth it! We went with another family for New Year's Eve and our children had such a wonderful time. We ordered room service, went to the waterpark several times, played in the arcade and our kids had so much fun. We are planning to come back next year!

initailly out room keypad was out of battery but the staff was very friendly they assisted and provided us another room asap no wait staff was very helpful and polite perfect hotel away from tourist crowds parking is additional 15$ onsite rooms are clean and good there is no smoking or bad smell in rooms rooms with balcony have a view view shows river amd part of falls awesome hotel prices high on weekends otherwise better than big brands hotel was a piece of mind

The facilities is old and worn out, i.e flooring, walls and lighting; it needs serious renovation. For the price, it's a ripped off. The location is very convenient, at the same time is noisy.

Staffs at the hotel were nice and attentive. The environment was clean and welcoming.

Hotel is conveniently close to the airport. Shuttle service was very reliable, and super useful for even just getting to the UP terminal at Pearson to head downtown. Room was clean, building was clearly recently renovated, signs of aging do show beneath paint, but it doesnt take away from the overall cleanliness.

The hotel looks like a fancy mountain lodge. Everything was very clean and the room was incredibly spacious. 15 minute walk to the incline railway down to the falls. Excellent on site restaurant.
