This was my first trip to Harbin, and I booked a riverside hotel near the Songhua River on Ctrip. My stay at the Harbin Habsburg River View Hotel (St. Sophia Church branch) was overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the service and breakfast. From the greeters and front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was consistently described as 'warm, attentive, and caring,' making it feel just like home. They even offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, which truly showed how thoughtful and considerate the hotel is. The breakfast was incredibly rich and featured local specialties. What really stood out was the long serving time, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy it as a brunch – a luxury usually only found in international resort hotels. The variety was impressive, including Northeastern dishes like 'kill-pig' stew, chicken stew with mushrooms, 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), iron pot stew, frozen pears, and Kvas, along with Lanzhou beef noodles, wontons, tofu pudding, and big bone stews. The hotel's location is also excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk (500 meters) to Central Street, the Flood Control Monument, and the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Market are within a 2-kilometer walk. Directly across from the hotel is the entrance to the Songhua River Cableway. We stayed on the 11th floor in a high-level river view room, offering distant views of the river and Swan Castle. The night view was truly beautiful. The room was well-equipped with a humidifier (essential in dry Northeast China), heated eye masks, sleep earplugs, a foot bath, bath salts, and charging cables. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and snacks daily, and the bottled water was from Quanyangquan. This hotel is a 'service-driven' choice offering excellent value for money. With its thoughtful service, abundant breakfast, and convenient location, the Habsburg is definitely worth choosing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Harbin and would even recommend it to friends.

The room was super spacious, very clean, and had excellent natural light. The lady at the front desk was beautiful and incredibly welcoming! She helped us with everything we needed, and we're so grateful! She even upgraded our room, which really showed us the warmth and hospitality of Harbin's people ❤️🔥! It's also super close and convenient to all the attractions, and there's parking available!

The hotel was very clean, and the service was warm and welcoming. Its location is fantastic, right next to St. Sophia Cathedral – just a short walk around the corner when you exit. It's also very close to the main entrance of Central Street, only about a ten-minute stroll away. Dining options are convenient too, with Daoli Market right across the street. Public transport is easily accessible, with a bus stop just downstairs, although we mostly walked around the area as everything was so convenient.

The hotel is a beautiful old Russian-style building with an excellent location. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, just a 3-minute walk to Central Street, yet it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The interior is beautifully decorated, clean, and tidy, with new and functional facilities. What truly stands out is the hotel's service, which is incredibly thoughtful and detailed. First, the front desk gave me a complimentary room upgrade. Then, throughout my stay, the room was cleaned impeccably every day, and they offered personalized service based on my habits – for instance, noticing I drink a lot of water, they would leave extra bottles. Even my charging cables left in the room were neatly organized. On one of the days during my stay, it happened to be my birthday. While I was out, I received a call from the hotel, and they offered to order a cake for me! This truly is customer service taken to the extreme! I repeatedly declined, but in the end, the hotel ordered the smallest one as per my request, which was incredibly thoughtful. My entire stay here was wonderful, and I want to thank the hotel and all the staff.

This hidden gem of a hotel is a must-recommend! It's the best hotel I've stayed at during my trip from Hulunbuir to Harbin. The room's cleanliness was surprisingly excellent, with not even a hint of smoke. Unlike some hotels that claim to be non-smoking, only for a weird, smoky smell to hit you as soon as you open the door! The overall style is light luxury with a great sense of design. The room was spacious enough, the bedding was very comfortable, and it featured smart home tech throughout, making it tidy and convenient. The breakfast was incredibly lavish, on par with a five-star hotel. They also offer afternoon tea. While I didn't get to try the warm night porridge, it really shows how much attention they pay to service details. The location is also fantastic, super close to Central Street and Harbin Museum, and Saint Sophia Cathedral is within walking distance. They even thoughtfully upgraded my room. All in all, the value for money is outstanding, and I'm extremely satisfied! Highly recommend!

## Amenities: The mattress was comfortable, two types of pillows were provided, a smart toilet, a TV with screen-mirroring capabilities, and the internet speed was very fast! The slippers were the thickest and most comfortable I've ever encountered in any hotel. ## Cleanliness: The shower drain wasn't clean and was a bit clogged; I had to deal with it myself while showering. ## Ambiance: I had requested a high floor, but was only given the 7th floor, so my view was ultimately blocked by the tall building directly in front. Additionally, the room was right by the elevator entrance. Luckily, there were no noisy tour groups blocking the elevators that day, so it was relatively quiet. ## Service: Almost non-existent. During check-in, there were two front desk staff. The male staff member was warmly smiling and assisting another group, while the female staff member gave me a cold reception. When I asked about the floor, she simply said my room type wasn't available on the 9th floor. Normally, one would expect something like, ”This room type isn't available on the 9th floor, would you like to consider an upgrade to a different room type on the 9th floor?” She offered no smile and was very curt. After she simply stated my room type wasn't available, I didn't feel like pursuing the conversation further. *Sigh*. ▶ There are self-service drinks in the lobby on the first floor, but the staff didn't inform me. I only found out about them after seeing it online. ▶ Upon check-out, there's supposed to be a farewell gift, but the staff didn't mention it. Long after I had left, I received a message on the Ctrip app saying there was one, meaning I would have had to inquire at the front desk myself. *Ahem*. ▶ I didn't book the hotel's buffet breakfast, but the restaurant allows you to order items à la carte. My companion and I spent 20 yuan and were completely full. (The fried rice was delicious!) ● Overall, in terms of value for money, it's really good! It just falls short on the details. (I wonder if this has anything to do with booking a discounted room? 🤔)

This hotel boasts an unbeatable location right on Central Street. Step out the door and you're immediately in the heart of the action, perfect for shopping and trying local snacks. It's also just a short walk to the Flood Control Memorial Tower and Saint Sophia Cathedral, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The entire staff was warm and polite, check-in was quick, and they were always prompt in responding to any requests. Their thoughtful service made me feel completely at home. The hotel's overall decor is opulent and grand, with a magnificent and refined lobby. Every detail exudes quality, making it very photogenic. The buffet breakfast offers a rich variety, including Chinese and Western options, Northeastern specialty pastries, hot dishes, desserts, fruits, and drinks. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and I started each day feeling fully satisfied. The room itself was spacious and bright, meticulously cleaned, with soft and skin-friendly bedding and a mattress that was just right – neither too soft nor too hard. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a full night's sleep even though we were in a bustling area. The bathroom featured a wet and dry separation, high-quality toiletries, and strong water pressure. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with clean elevators and public areas that were spotless and odor-free. This hotel is perfect for both leisure travel and short getaways, offering incredible value for money. Staying here in Harbin is definitely a sure bet. I'll choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to all travelers!

Take the children to punch in Jingbo Lake. Come to Jingbo Lake to play and compare many, and finally choose this 2026 newly opened four-diamond Mirror Boshengjing Hotel, the experience far exceeds expectations! First of all, the location is closed: close to the north entrance of Jingbo Lake Scenic Area, a few minutes walk from the hotel to the ticket gate, go to the hanging waterfall in the morning without rushing, and go back to the room slowly after visiting the scenic spot in the evening, saving the round-trip drive. Secondly, the new store hardware is online: four diamond standard configuration, the whole house is newly decorated without odor, the bathroom is dry and wet partition, and the floor-to-ceiling windows are comfortable to watch. Our 2 big and 2 small twin beds actually have 2 1.5, so comfortable! And the service package is intimate: free parking in the hospital, self-driving friendly; own Chinese restaurant, the main mirror Pohu fish pot, Northeast home-cooked dishes, fresh ingredients do not need to go out for food. The overall price is full, four diamond accommodation + zero distance from the scenic spot, whether it is a parent-child trip or a friend, it is suitable, it is highly recommended for tourists who come to Jingbo Lake to stay!

This hotel is super close to Wanda Plaza, making it really convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Parking right outside the entrance is a breeze too. The surroundings are lovely, and an evening stroll by the lake is absolutely picturesque. The hotel rooms are carpeted, which really helps with soundproofing, and the bathroom is quite spacious. The hotel even offered a room upgrade, but I was too lazy to repack my things, so I just stuck with my original room. The toiletries provided are excellent, and the large bathtub is definitely a highlight. Even when it's chilly outside, the indoor temperature is perfectly comfortable – unlike some hotels that can get overly warm. This place had the ideal temperature and even came with a humidifier. Oh, and I particularly loved the pillows here; they were so soft and cozy. The breakfast spread was extensive. There were so many items in the room that I didn't really take many photos.

Honestly, I'm a bit reluctant to give a good review because the Executive Lounge here is just so subpar right now. And the loud noise in the morning was really annoying, though the duty manager did apologize and offered juice, a small gift, and a cute little tiger plushie, so I guess I'll let it go. Maybe it's the off-season, or they're cutting costs and boosting efficiency. But frankly, the Executive Lounge in Shenyang, also in the Northeast, was much better. I hope Harbin can really step up its game.
