Beach Hotels in Penang, Malaysia

Regarding the facilities, I need to pay by my own self for the car parking service. They are charging RM 24 per day and I am staying for 4 days 3 nights. Do you think how much I need to pay for the car parking which they never stated that visitors or customers need to paying by ourselves. I hope that in the future, please stated very clearly that we need to paying by ourselves without inform us.

I’ve always wanted to spend a day at Lone Pine Penang, and I’m so happy I finally got the chance to experience it. 🤍 Everything about the stay was lovely, from the beautiful colonial-inspired surroundings and charming architecture to the peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful service. The whole place feels like a little escape from the busy world, with such a timeless and whimsical charm. It was exactly the kind of place I had imagined it would be, and getting to slow down and enjoy a day here felt really special. Definitely a stay I’ll remember and a place I’d love to return to someday. ✨

The overall ambiance of the hotel is very relaxing, and the staff are all so friendly. The service is simply impeccable. My absolute favorite part has to be the hotel pool! You can walk straight out to the pool from the ground floor. The water is extremely clean, and there's a lazy river for kids, as well as a more secluded splash area. There's a giant tipping bucket that fills up and dumps water right on your head—so refreshing and fun 👍! Even better, the beach is just a short walk past the pool, making it super convenient whether you want to swim or just take a stroll by the sea. The room was also very clean, and the ocean view was a huge plus! Plus, breakfast was way more abundant than expected, with a great variety of choices. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay, and I was particularly impressed by the pool and the beach. If I visit Batu Ferringhi in Penang again next time, I would definitely consider staying here!

While the rooms and hotel facilities are a bit dated, it is an established hotel, and the overall maintenance is quite good, reflecting the quality of a traditional hotel. The resort atmosphere is excellent, with a relaxed and comfortable environment, perfect for slowing down and getting some good rest. The service was generally quite attentive, with friendly staff and smooth communication throughout my stay. The dining was decent overall; the selection was reasonably rich, and both the taste and quality were good, satisfying my needs during the vacation. Although the hardware facilities aren't the newest, the overall experience was still quite comfortable, and the ambiance of an established resort hotel was definitely present.

The overall experience at Hard Rock Hotel Penang was great. My girlfriend had a hotel massage, and she found the techniques professional and comfortable. There was also a discount at the time, making it excellent value for money. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes and tasted delicious. The hotel pool is spacious and perfect for kids, with direct access to the beach. The beach itself is large; although the sea water isn't the cleanest, it's great for taking photos. The room design is trendy and distinctive. The only minor downside is that parts of the hotel are currently undergoing renovation. There was no noise, but construction areas occasionally appeared in photos. Overall, it's still highly recommended.

The best feature of this hotel is its direct beachfront location. Our room had an absolutely perfect, completely unobstructed view of the ocean.. The pool faces the cafe, so we could easily watch the kids swim while enjoying breakfast. The room cleanliness needs improvement, and the mattress was way too hard for a comfortable sleep..

The facilities are indeed quite old. The bathroom door creaks loudly when opened or closed. I also requested a high floor, away from the elevator, in my Ctrip notes, but it had no effect. The shower and bathtub are combined, and the bathtub is so old that using it for a bath is out of the question. When paying at the front desk, I was overcharged for the tourism tax, even though it was included in the booking. Luckily, I noticed it during checkout. The front desk staff's professionalism is questionable. The pool closes at 7 PM, which is too early. It's barely 6 PM before the sun isn't too harsh, so if you're concerned about sunburn, you can't really enjoy it for long. Pros: Multiple pools with waterslides, making it more family-friendly than Shangri-La Rasa Sayang. The breakfast selection is also quite good. The king-size bed is spacious, so sleeping with a child isn't cramped. The Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk were very helpful. You can walk to Rasa Sayang next door for activities. Food options nearby are also convenient, with a night market. However, in comparison, I feel that the adjacent Parkroyal Hotel is better, and the price is similar. The beach area there is flatter and larger.

I could really feel their enthusiasm and dedication to serving guests, get a piece of welcome biscuits. It was my birthday on the day of check-in; my husband had specifically informed the hotel staff before check in and they kindly decorated the room a little for the occasion and a slice of cake by room service . In next day morning we going for breakfast ,the staff wished me happy birthday . so grateful

The hotel has a great location with a private beach, and you can see a beautiful sea view right as you enter. The customer service staff were also very friendly. The only minor drawback was the small ants in the room.
