Overall speaking, this hotel is value for money if choosing to stay in Onna Village. The ocean view is spectacular. We enjoyed it so much especially on the last day of our trip. We eventually had the blue sky and white clouds. The room is very spacious with a nice balcony! That's most precious for our holiday. Since it was early Nov, the outdoor pool was closed. We used the indoor pool which comes with a outdoor jacuzzi. That's so lovely. Regrettably, the indoor pool was not available to use until after 9:00am in the morning, that was so inconvenient for hotel guests. We normally can't swim after having a nice breakfast. There is an airport limousine at the main entrance of the hotel, that is very convenient for us because the hotel is located on the hill slope. We did not drive. So, we chose to book the limousine bus at the hotel concierge to save us time and energy to walk downhill to take the city bus after we checked out. Although it cost 5000 yens for the BBQ dinner, the variety of food is good. So, we were quite happy with the money spent on it. The breakfast buffet also provided a good selection of food especially a good selection of cooked food with local veggies as ingredients. It was worth spending HK$140 for each of us.

I took bus 143 from Naha Bus Terminal to the American Village (it was the last stop for this bus, not sure where the actual last stop is) and walked for about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. Since it was before check-in time, I waited in the lobby, where complimentary drinks and cookies were available. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helped us store our luggage first; the service was excellent. After checking in, we were given an upgraded room, much larger than what we had booked, which was fantastic! American Village at night is beautiful and definitely worth staying for a night.

We chose this hotel for the pool and close proximity to both the monorail and the ferry ticket office. It was ideal for this reason. The pool was nice and quiet during the day. the ferry ticket office is just 1min walk away. several convenience stores close by. We went to Naminoue beach, about 25-30min walk away - we tried the bus according google maps but the bus didnt arrive as expected. For the rest, the hotel is clean and comfortable and decent size rooms. the washing machines are busy in the evening but convenient for use. The area around the hotel I wouldnt really recommend for families - its a little rundown and had a bit of a strange vibe, not as welcoming as other parts of Japan. Still clean and seems safe, but our least favourite area during our 3 week trip.

The room was quite spacious, and equipped with a full range of amenities, including a smart toilet, a mini-fridge, and a safe. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily. Opening the window offered a view of the Pacific Ocean. The breakfast area had a great ambiance, and the breakfast selection was extensive, featuring Western, Chinese, and Japanese options, including fish, meat, vegetables, and local specialties, offering a wide variety to choose from.

Traveling with three people, we were looking for a spacious hotel, so we booked a duplex twin room. It perfectly met our needs! The size of the room is unbeatable in Japan. However, apart from the space, the hotel is quite old. The room decor is dated, and the fabric sofa had quite a few stains. The most significant issue was that the curtains in the duplex room didn't cover the windows completely, so the room was flooded with sunlight early in the morning! Other services were typical for Japanese hotels, with fresh towels provided daily. If you book in advance, the value for money is still pretty good!

The room felt comfortable and having the airport shuttle was really convenient. The bus was super punctual, which was great! The hot springs on the 2nd floor were amazing, and there were welcome drinks in the afternoon! Breakfast was also excellent, so relaxing! I could even hear the sound of the ocean waves at night! Couldn't resist extending my stay for another night!

The hotel is in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the monorail. It's very convenient for visiting Naminoue Shrine, the Prefectural Office, and Kokusai Street, yet it's still relatively quiet. The breakfast spread is amazing, with a good variety of Japanese specialties and foods, and they offer extended serving hours, which is a huge plus. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and getting around is easy. Definitely recommended! They also offer complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby lounge area.

The hotel clearly shows its age but is very well-maintained and clean. The room key is a charming, retro seahorse design (be careful not to lose it, as there's a 1000 JPY replacement fee!). The hotel's scenery is absolutely stunning, and the public areas are beautiful. If you miss breakfast, you can have lunch instead; while the selection isn't vast, the food is quite good. The only downside is that it doesn't feel very 'resort-like,' I'm not sure if this is typical for hotels in Japan, but it lacks the relaxed vibe of Southeast Asian resorts. Beach chairs and umbrellas both cost extra. The outdoor pool is too small and closes by 6 PM, and swimming in the sea is also prohibited quite early. The indoor pool, however, is lovely, but it only opens at 10 AM. A real letdown for swimming enthusiasts!

We had a great stay in Hewitt Resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We took early return flight so that we had to check out very early. The hotel even prepared packed breakfast for us as we did not have time to have breakfast before we left the hotel. The room was clean and new and spacious. We will definitely choose Hewitt Resort when we visit Okinawa in the future. Thank you Hewitt Resort.

I stayed at this hotel twice and was pleasantly surprised. The location is excellent—very convenient for sightseeing, free shuttles bus to airport, and dining options. The room was basic but clean, and the staff were friendly. Great value overall!

FFuermoluojuanjuanThe location is super convenient; it's a five-minute walk from Asahibashi monorail station, and getting here from the airport is quick. Across from the hotel is the Naha Bus Terminal, making it easy to go anywhere – we even took a bus from there when we switched to our resort hotel later. Although the room was over 20 square meters, it felt a bit cramped, possibly due to the low ceiling, but that's typical for city hotels in Japan, so I can't complain too much. The room had a natural wood style and was generally tidy, but the sofa by the window was quite dirty with suspicious stains. Also, I booked the room very early, but ended up with a third-floor room directly facing the parking garage, which offered poor privacy and views. When I went downstairs to speak with the front desk, I was told it was a pre-assigned room and couldn't be changed. Oh well. The highlights of the hotel are the rooftop bath, perfect for relaxing after a long day, and the ground-floor restaurant where you can buy a three-hour all-you-can-drink package, a definite win for alcohol enthusiasts.

BBanlimamaI was initially very pleased with the hotel's location. The pool and beach facilities were excellent, and there were also two breakfast options. However, the only truly unpleasant experience occurred during check-in. The young male staff member at the front desk was incredibly unprofessional. The check-in process took a full 45 minutes, and I was almost on the verge of heatstroke from standing there so long! After finally checking in, I wanted to quickly freshen up with a shower, but then waited another 30 minutes in the room for my luggage. I eventually went back to the front desk to inquire about my bags, only to find them unceremoniously dumped in a corner, completely unattended. It was only after I made a forceful complaint in English that a staff member hurriedly delivered the luggage to my room. Because I formally submitted a complaint, a staff member later proactively contacted me and offered water park coupons, which showed they were taking the matter seriously. Given we were a family with elderly parents and young children, traveling during the peak summer heat, I appreciated their effort to rectify the situation, as I really didn't want any more hassle. Aside from that, the remainder of our stay was quite pleasant. Although the room facilities were noticeably dated, they were acceptable.

AAnonymous User1. The location is indeed very convenient, and it's one of the few hotels in Okinawa with a somewhat stylish decor. But besides that, it's absolutely useless; purely paid for deceiving photos. 2. The hygiene is really poor; there's dust everywhere, and the bed sheets are yellowed... 3. What I'm most dissatisfied with is the soundproofing: the mini-fridge in the room is incredibly noisy, and the corner room I booked was assigned to the lowest floor, which was terribly loud with constant thumping and banging sounds every day. Even with earplugs, it was still very noisy! 4. No drinking water was provided; who wants to go to the hallway to get water? Do they think this is a university dorm? When returning to the hotel at night, the staff standing at the entrance completely ignored guests coming in, hah...

GGuest UserWe chose to dine in our room for dinner and ordered two sets of meals. The price was so high, but we had to arrange the meals ourselves. We had no idea what the dishes were and what the ingredients were. It looked very different from the photos on the website, which was very disappointing. At this price, they should have arranged the meals for you! They could have specified a time for dinner and helped arrange the meals.

TTianqiandikun-zijianThe room was clean and well-equipped. It's very close to Kokusai Dori, which made shopping super convenient. A small incident happened where we left our pocket Wi-Fi in the taxi on the way to the airport. The driver found it and quickly returned it to the hotel. Eventually, our Japanese friends helped us get it mailed back. It was such a great feeling to get it back after thinking it was lost! The hotel was very professional and kept the lost item safe. Thumbs up!

KKirill 科力尔The hotel is located near beautiful and clean Sesoko beach with marvellous sea abundant with great variety of fish. A perfect location for swimming and snorkeling. Sesoko beach and fantastic view thereof from our balcony has been a huge, but unfortunately the only advantage of the hotel. If you don’t rent a car, you have to be ready for the situation when you are unable to leave the hotel at all. It’s very hard to call a taxi either via Uber or even via local taxi app “Go”. The hotel staff does not provide too much help with this issue either, even when requested to book a taxi to the airport (to be fair hotel concierge finally managed to arrange a car for us, but it arrives 30 minutes late, despite our request being extended at least 12 hours before the planned departure). The hotel management is apparently aware of the transport inconvenience for their guests, but do not seem to care about that at all: they’ve chosen the easiest way “to cope” with the problem: just smile and say “sorry”. There’s another advantage of such approach for the hotel: if guests cannot leave the hotel easily, they wouldn’t have much lunch/dining choice other than having meals in the hotel. And here we come to another issue with the hotel: a very mediocre choice of dining options (no Japanese cuisine options at all) and extremely poor menu (with even poorer service) in the only available lunch venue. Breakfasts are below expectations as well: absolutely same food every morning (the only change from day to day: fried salmon/fried mackerel), no fresh fish/sea-food (we’re still in Japan, aren’t we?), almost no choice of fruits. Verdict: a very overrated hotel, pretty mediocre itself, but located beside the gorgeous sea.

DDajiI booked the Beach House zone with 2 bedrooms and 1 living room, and overall, it was a wonderful stay. The room condition was excellent—very clean, beautiful, and elegantly designed, with a stunning sea view. The facilities were well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. One minor issue was that at night, when closing the bathroom door, there was a wind noise, so we had to keep the bathroom door open while sleeping. Transportation between the main building and the Beach House was convenient with a golf cart service. Additional costs included a parking fee and a resort fee of 300 yen per person per night. Breakfast around 7:30 AM was quite busy, but I really liked their online queue system, which allowed us to reserve our spot virtually without waiting in front of the restaurant. The resort had three swimming pools. The first pool, located right next to the sea, was disappointing—it was very dirty, with algae at the bottom. Another issue was that the edge of this pool facing the sea was too deep; anyone under 160 cm would not be able to stand, even though it’s the side with the best sunset view. The second pool was located slightly higher up, but we didn’t use it. The third was an indoor pool, which we also didn’t try. Staff service was excellent. They spoke English and Japanese fluently, and some could even communicate in Chinese. Around the hotel, there were also quite a few good restaurants within easy reach, which was very convenient. Overall, I was very impressed with almost everything, except for the cleanliness of the swimming pool.
