I highly recommend this hotel! It's located right in the city center, directly across from the Tourist Information Center where you can book all sorts of day trips upon arrival. There are tons of restaurant choices nearby. Getting to Santa Claus Village is super easy from here too – just catch the bus at the main road behind the Tourist Information Center. It's only 7 euros round trip per person and runs every 20 minutes, which is really convenient. The hotel also has a sauna, perfect for warming up and shaking off the cold after a winter day. The front desk staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is plentiful. I'd definitely stay here again next time!
Our stay in the glass igloo was amazing! The accommodation was very clean, and it included all the necessary amenities. It even came with a kitchenette. We were fortunate to see the aurora borealis just outside our igloo on the night we arrived, and watching the sunrise from the igloo was simply magical. The meals at the resort were fantastic. I would highly recommend the Fox Arctic Glass Igloo Resorts for a memorable experience.
The family room was very nice, but the fifth person was considered an extra bed and slept on a sofa. The hotel ground floor was great for watching the Northern Lights, and we saw them that night. There seemed to be a sauna in the bathroom, but we didn't try it as we didn't know how to use it. The hotel breakfast was an English breakfast, and the hotel entrance offered views of the ski resort.
Right in Santa Claus village. If you come in the winter, it’s a good location and there will be many activities inside the village. But if you come here in other seasons like us, there will be boring and far from the downtown because lots of activities are stopped. You can take bus no.4 or Santa clause express to downtown at cost. Room with sauna is very good experience
Located in a ski resort, it's a fantastic ski hotel. Perhaps because it wasn't peak season yet, the hotel restaurant options were limited, but the food was surprisingly good, with no disappointments. It would be very convenient for ski enthusiasts.
The best!!! The best!!! The front desk staff were kind and even made the effort to contact me if the aurora appeared. The property is very large and they provided a car to take you to your accommodation from the front desk. I was able to refresh myself by taking a walk around the property during the day. It was summer so I didn't see any reindeer, but I could hear them crowing. I would definitely like to come in winter next time to see the reindeer.
The room was also very clean and nice. I was also very satisfied with the sauna.
The breakfast at the restaurant also had a very Finnish feel to it. The bread was delicious.
Right below the ski resort, the town is very small, so it's very convenient to get around. Everyone is very friendly. The room is bigger than expected, and it has its own sauna and living room, which is very nice! It's a pity that I only stayed for one night
Overall: Generally nice hotel with an excellent location in downtown Rovaniemi. Loved the bedding and the extra pillow for stacking. The room does come with air conditioning; however, it's not really noticeable. Luckily, there's a small, openable window section to let in cool air from outside. The room is as expected; however, the bathroom is really toooooo tight and small. Location-wise, perfect. A close walk (literally within minutes) to the main street, with lots of stores and restaurants.
It's a 7-8 minute walk from Rovaniemi Station. I booked this room because I had a large suitcase and an early morning virtual reality show. It was said to have a city view, but it was on the first floor, so I'm not sure what the view was like.
It opens at 7am. There was a wide variety to choose from, and they even had juices like green juice.
The bed and ceilings were high, so it was nice and relaxing.

XXiaojiejieIn the mountains~
It is more convenient to drive by yourself!
There are not many people, very quiet~
It takes about half an hour to drive from Santa Claus Village
Drive into the woods of the hotel. There is a kind of lonely beauty!! It is also very mysterious...
There are also deer in the hotel!
It’s a pity that I didn’t see the northern lights this time
GGuest UserThe accommodation is very poorly located, right next to the road, which makes it impossible to sleep well.
The lights flicker until 3 a.m., making it impossible to stargaze or see the Northern Lights.
If you're hoping to catch up on sleep in the morning, forget it! The Huskies start barking at 8 a.m.
The bathroom is tiny, access to hot water is limited to 15 minutes (followed by 30 minutes of cold water), and using the sauna (in a separate area) costs around €100.
I paid an extra €10 for a crib, even though the price is already clearly overpriced!
The restaurant isn't very good, and people who have checked in or are about to leave walk right through the middle of the room, creating a terrible draft.
I had to beg for hot milk at breakfast (which isn't offered). Furthermore, drinks are extra, even with half-board.
The room is clearly too small for two adults and a child (plus a baby).
The activities are overpriced.
We had stayed in several places and only booked one night in this accommodation, and thank goodness!
The value for money is absolutely terrible.
GGuest UserRight in Santa Claus village. If you come in the winter, it’s a good location and there will be many activities inside the village. GGuest UserBuffet breakfast, diversified styles, my favorite salmon, eggplant juice beans and wheat skin, and a self-service waffles machine, let the guests make their own waffles 🧇, hot and very delicious! The hotel is on the side of the river in River Juutua, you can see the beautiful view of the river in the restaurant and room, first-class enjoyment! The front desk clerk was happy to answer our questions, and some were smiling! The waiters and food in the hotel restaurant (Aanaar) reached the level of a 5-star hotel. When serving, each dish will be explained, what is its main dish, side dish and juice! The most unfortunately, the thermostat does not have temperature, and the weather is not too cold. There is a hot tube for drying clothes in the bathroom, and the wet clothes are drying quickly!
EEmconcBad management during check in.
I book an Apartment for 2 nights for this stay but I got the room for 1 night each. Staff told me I have to change room tomorrow and check out at 12PM.
So that mean first night I stay and tomorrow check out 12PM and wait for a new room. Also, the apartment is very far from reception. Luckily, I have a car. Imagine if I don't have a car, I have to carry big luggage from the apartment to reception to check out and wait for new room later and move my luggage to new room again, how was it?
Moreover, when I check out at 12PM staff told me the room will ready for check in around 2 hours. Then came back to check in again for second at 3PM another staff told me the room is not ready yet and policy for the Apartment check in time is 6PM. ***!!! I said I need the room now because this is unacceptable. Then staff told me the room is ready and give me the key card.
So, for this situation I waste the time for half day to pack my luggage, move a lot of luggage to my car with a lot of snow, check out, go to reception for check out, wait the new room, wait, wait, wait, and come back to check in and got very bad answer that she told the room is not ready, and go to check in again, move my luggage to new apartment with a lot of snow, and take a rest. VERY BAD!!!!!
WwingGGwingGGThis glass igloo offers an amazing aurora-viewing experience! Even though it was freezing cold outside, the heating inside kept us perfectly warm. We could just lie in bed and watch the Northern Lights. The hotel even has an aurora alarm, so you won't miss it even if you're asleep. Everyone should experience watching the aurora from a glass igloo at least once in their life. Plus, it's super close to Santa Claus Village, within walking distance. The hotel also provided a free dinner, which was a really thoughtful touch.

LLINGINBOThe service here is quite good, the staff in the recee will give you some useful advice if you ask, room is really awesome, geting a nice view from the balcony. The breakfast is also good.
服务很好,房间有阳台,浴室,桑拿房。风景很好,周边有几个餐厅可以吃饭。早餐也不错
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center. There's a mall and a large supermarket directly across the street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The room is a bit small, but very neat and clean. I highly recommend having breakfast at the hotel; Scandic hotels always have an amazing and delicious breakfast spread!
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good and strategic location, close to the city centre and easily accessible to public transport, restaurants, and main attractions. It is also well known by the locals, which made it very convenient when asking for directions or arranging transport.
One of the highlights of the stay is that the accommodation provides basic cooking essentials, which is very helpful for guests who prefer to prepare simple meals during their trip. The facilities are practical and suitable for a comfortable short or extended stay.
Overall, it is a convenient and pleasant place to stay, especially for travellers who value location and simple self-catering options.
