Honestly, it was pretty mediocre. For a room rate of nearly 1800, the service should match the price. This price is on par with InterContinental, Westin, and Sheraton. Let me just mention the parts I experienced that weren't worth it. First, the restaurant service. Since the location is so remote, guests have no choice but to eat inside the guesthouse. Not only were the portions insufficient, but there was only a tiny bit of napkin on the table, no basic dental floss or wet wipes. Second, I was told to come back to the restaurant after 8:30 PM because it was full. So I went after 8:30 PM, and after a few bites, I wanted to quickly add more dishes, but was told I could only add vegetable dishes because the kitchen staff was about to go off duty. You told me to come later, and then you tell me your staff is leaving? Isn't it normal and expected for tourism service staff to work an hour or two later according to customer needs? Third, the hand soap in the room was diluted like water; it basically had no cleaning function. There's no need to cut costs to this extent, is there? For an 1800-yuan room, couldn't they provide a decent hand soap for guests? Fourth, since the room comes with a soaking tub, shouldn't you at least provide a bath bomb or some aromatherapy for guests? Rooms in Emei Mountain costing a few hundred yuan provide these; your 1800-yuan room doesn't? Is money that easy to earn? Fifth, the minibar in the room had too few items. Even InterContinental rooms have more drinks than this. There was only one sachet of Maxwell coffee. Who provides just one? Isn't it usually two? Chinese people believe in 'good things come in pairs.' What's the meaning of providing just one? Is it for you or for me? And then there's breakfast. It was too ordinary, so ordinary I can't even describe it. Buns, steamed bread, and congee are the most basic. And guests coming to high-altitude areas might experience altitude sickness; shouldn't you provide more small desserts and cakes? I can think of this, why can't you people running a guesthouse? These are all very small details, but details are enough to show that this guesthouse isn't professional enough. If it were five or six hundred, I wouldn't say anything. Many guesthouses and hotels in Lixian do much better than you in terms of details. Just some reference for other friends.

Lovely hotel, highly recommended! The staff are very responsive, and they paid top-level attention to everything! This is the best place in Chengdu to stay if you are waiting for a flight. Free shuttle service, clean and comfortable rooms, everything you need. The territory is very cozy and cozy. I'm really glad that I stayed in this place. The best impressions remained. Thanks to all the staff for such an atmosphere and service.❤️

The hotel is very good. It is close to Wanda Plaza. It is very convenient for eating and shopping. The lobby is very beautifully decorated. James, the front desk clerk, is enthusiastic and friendly. I give it ten thumbs up. It is very safe. The room is close to the river and has a good view. I was satisfied with my stay and praised it! The only drawback is that the breakfast is a bit weak and the fried things are cold and hard. I hope it can be improved.

The room was great! I was traveling with my parents and a child, and the hotel's location is excellent, right in the Chunxi Road business district, making it super convenient to get everywhere. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive. From the moment we arrived, they helped open doors and carried our luggage, making everything hassle-free. Check-in was quick, and they even accommodated our request for two adjacent rooms. The hotel is very quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the cleanliness was also impressive. Breakfast was fantastic, both the service and the food. Every staff member we encountered during our stay was so welcoming. I'd definitely want to stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu – it's truly wonderful. Oh, and the little panda gift we received when checking out was adorable; the child loved it!

The hotel's public areas are really well-designed, and the front desk staff, both the ladies and the gentlemen, were incredibly helpful! However, the soundproofing between floors isn't great. Around 1 AM, the kids upstairs were still jumping around, but the front desk guy quickly went up to remind them, which I really appreciated! We might have arrived during a peak time, as our room wasn't ready and we had to wait a bit. It would have been better if we could have checked in on time. There's a delicious 'chuan chuan' (skewer) restaurant right next door. All in all, for this price, the service was excellent!

The location isn't too far or too close to the Chunxi Road area. When I booked, I chose the family room for its large bed, but I didn't expect the window to be tiny. The room's dark color scheme made it dim and depressing; it felt like staying in a dungeon. The bathroom outlet was also intermittently without power, and breakfast was very mediocre. I had originally booked for three nights, but I moved to another hotel on the third night (I was too tired from sightseeing the first two days, otherwise I would have left sooner). I strongly suggest the owner change the lighting; with an already dark color palette, the dim lighting is just unbearable. If you stay here, I'd recommend booking a different room with a larger window. I noticed other rooms had big windows with lush trees outside, which looked much better.

When visiting Emei Mountain, my top choice has to be The Le Méridien right next to Baoguo Temple. As an international chain, their service is professional and impeccable. Before check-in, Xiao Hui from the concierge team confirmed our itinerary, arranged for high-speed rail station pickup, upgraded our room, and even provided an extra breakfast for our child. The service truly was faultless. The hotel's breakfast also offered a wide variety of delicious options. For dinner, the hotel is conveniently located right next to Ma Lu Qiao Food Street, where there are plenty of local restaurants to choose from. In terms of transportation, it's about 800 meters, or a 10-minute walk, to the Baoguo Temple stop at the tourist center. Overall, the hotel left a wonderful impression on me, and I look forward to another opportunity to visit Emei Mountain and stay here again.
Finally stayed at the Musan Hotel, recommended by a friend, on this trip to Bipenggou. Although the stay was short, the experience was absolutely fantastic.
Driving here was convenient with easy parking, and the hotel is close to the scenic area. If you don't want to drive, the hotel also offers shuttle service. All the staff were very welcoming. The hotel's design is very stylish, blending ******* and Qiang styles with modern aesthetics perfectly. Both the public areas and room details show great taste.
Our room type was comfortable, and what I was most satisfied with was how incredibly clean it was. Even the corners were spotless, making our stay very reassuring. The room amenities were excellent, the bath products were high-quality, and the mini-bar drinks and snacks were thoughtfully arranged.
The front desk staff were all very enthusiastic and even showed us other room types, adding to the great atmosphere. Breakfast was exquisite and delicious, with a rich variety, and the hot noodles were particularly to my liking. Coming back in the evening, we could also relax in the public areas; it's clear the hotel puts a lot of effort into its service.
I must especially praise the hotel's travel photography service! The photographer was amazing! No stiff posing, very natural, and really good at finding angles and capturing candid moments. The photos turned out wonderfully.
I'll definitely recommend this place to friends visiting Bipenggou next time.

I promised the owner a good review, and here I am today! I absolutely love this place! Even though it's a guesthouse, you can feel the owner's dedication in every corner, offering service that rivals a five-star hotel. From the restaurant staff to the sweet old lady who was always smiling and accommodating our every request, everyone was incredibly enthusiastic. My child wasn't fully recovered from an illness this time, but I really wanted to go, so after much deliberation, we decided to make the trip. The owner was incredibly thoughtful and even provided an extra heater when we checked in! A tip: If possible, try to stay on the second floor or higher next time. The French windows in the rooms, combined with the mist outside, create a living ink wash painting! I'm already looking forward to my next visit! P.S. Sharing a picture of the moon I took on Sunday morning 🌕

GGuest UserThis is an older hotel, conveniently located near Tianfu Square. The facilities are a bit dated (especially the bedding), but the cleanliness is pretty good. My room was cleaned daily during my three-night stay. The environment is decent, and the service is acceptable, though I didn't experience any special features.
GGuest UserFive-star review! I’m truly impressed with my stay at Xishu Hotel. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. Their professionalism made the whole process smooth and pleasant. The room was spotless, well-designed, and comfortably arranged. All the facilities were modern and well maintained, and the attention to detail was excellent. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept very well.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing, and the public areas are kept in great condition as well. Whether it’s cleanliness, service, location, or overall convenience, everything exceeded my expectations. I genuinely couldn’t find any flaws during my stay. I will definitely choose Xishu Hotel again next time I’m in the area and will gladly recommend it to friends!
GGuest UserThe hotel is quite new, and the bedding is good. It offers great value for money. The location is also very convenient, surrounded by commercial areas. The concierge service is excellent, especially one young man who was particularly enthusiastic. The only minor drawback is that Didi (ride-sharing) drivers often can't find the hotel lobby and end up going to the adjacent office building. Oh, and the makeup mirror on the desk is a nice touch.
MM2ek7m4k0****The hotel service was excellent! Breakfast was included, and they proactively offered airport/station pick-up and drop-off services. When we checked in, the front desk staff went out of their way to suggest various travel strategies for Mount Emei. The driver, who might have been the owner, even chatted with us about Mount Emei's culture, Buddhist culture, and other tourism resources in Sichuan, which was very interesting. There's also a lovely, chubby cat named Coco at the guesthouse who is incredibly friendly. She purrs as soon as you pet her and even meows gently outside your door, knowing which room you're in, and loves to cuddle and roll around. Overall, the entire trip felt very thoughtful and personalized.

The service was very friendly, the decor was exquisite and clean, very stylish and beautiful, perfect for photos.
The butler at the front desk was very friendly and attentive; when I wasn't feeling well, he helped me change to a better-ventilated room.
The coffee shop was exceptionally good—surprisingly, the best coffee I've had in China.
I hope they maintain this level of quality; I'll definitely stay here again.

Very Good
AAbigail WebbIt was okay. Would not book again. Unfortunately, this was one of our worse stays in China during our month long travel. There was an unfortunate plumbing issue (that they had no control over, totally understandable) but they moved us to a different room not listed with not as good of a view. And after asking and having to personally message the boss via WeChat received a 10% discount. The room was not very clean. Leftover tissues and hair in corners from the pervious person. The walls were thin enough to hear the neighbors. And we arrived to breakfast 30minutes after it started and there was very little left. I would be more gracious but this was also the most expensive place we stayed at. Did not meet my standards and would not stay here again.
MM253152****The hygiene was good! The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows weren't too high, very soft! The service attitude was also good. The breakfast was quite simple, with buns, eggs, soy milk, and coffee. For this price, the surrounding area is quite noisy, and the sound insulation isn't great. The only downside is that there were so many mosquitoes... I got bitten by mosquitoes in the middle of the night, and it happened in both rooms, even my child was bitten. There was nothing we could do. We had planned to stay a few more days. I hope the owner will provide mosquito repellents in every room and do a better job with pest control in the future.
