During my trip to Western Sichuan, the luckiest thing was discovering a hotel that truly understood travelers. The Mount Siguniang Stargazing Resort is exactly that kind of place—more than just a stopover, it's like a gentle lighthouse at the foot of the snowy mountains, illuminating the entire starry sky for us weary travelers with its thoughtful details and warmth. The moment I opened the door, the majestic silhouette of Yaomei Peak filled the view. The expansive floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly framed the snow-capped mountains, cloud seas, and the shifting light of dawn and dusk, making it feel as if I was living inside a painting. In the morning, the first rays of sunlight hitting the peaks cast a golden glow through the glass, making even a lazy lie-in feel like a tribute to nature. At night, I could lie in bed and gaze at the Milky Way, with the fluorescent ceiling mirroring the real starry sky—it was unbelievably romantic. What's even more remarkable is the hotel's perfect location. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the scenic area, yet within walking distance of the Changpinggou entrance. Morning strolls by the river and evening sunsets on the terrace became daily rituals, making even just zoning out a pleasure. The butler also thoughtfully recommended stargazing spots and hiking routes, even helping us identify constellations, adding an element of discovery to our trip. It truly is a haven of tranquility beneath the snow-capped mountains, living up to its promise of both starry skies and cherished moments.

The bed was super comfortable. The location is really convenient; it's great for exploring and finding good food, with a snack street nearby. Plus, delivery services can bring food right to your door. They also provide two bottles of mineral water every day.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location near Tonghuimen station (metro line 2) which made it very easy to get everywhere we needed to in Chengdu, including the East station and Xipu (to get Dujiangyan). The room was comfortable, spacious and delightfully decorated. It was also notoriously quiet, and the curtains were dark, which allowed us to sleep a bit longer one day when we were particularly tired. One of the receptionists helped us get tickets for Sichuan opera and she got us wonderful seats 😃 We are very thankful for this! Our only criticism is that the food at the bar (tiny frozen pizzas) was overpriced and not good. We would definitely stay here again in Chengdu!

The room is cozy! Toilet is clean and the shower pressure is strong. They provide alcohol wipe, ear plugs and even ensure that the room is sanitised (there’s a card beside the bed). You can still hear some noise from the corridor but the earplugs help. The hairdryer is from laifen. Location wise it’s just a short walk from exit F (stairs only at this exit though) of Chengdu Second People's Hospital Metro Station (line 4 & 3. It’s an interchange station so you get more options for your train travel which is a big plus). Walkable distance to chunxi road and there’s even 2 small supermarkets just 1-2 mins walk opposite the hotel. The washing machine and dryer works well and there’s laundry detergent provided too

We booked a room with a king-size bed and a tatami area, but we found there were no tatami bedding sheets at night. We called the front desk and they quickly brought a duvet insert (without a cover). My elderly family members didn't want to cause a fuss, so we didn't ask for more and just used the king bed's bedspread as a sheet. Looking closely at the pictures now, it seems tatami bedding should have been included. I hope this can be improved in the future. Otherwise, everything was great, especially the fantastic location. The hotel also has good style, and the staff are all very friendly.

The room was very clean and the service staff were very enthusiastic. The front desk specially asked us if we were on a business trip in the nearby park. We said that the hotel can pick up and drop off for free. The service is intimate and great! ! I will choose this hotel for business trips in Mianyang in the future!

This hotel is perfectly situated, right near Jiuzhaigou National Park's entrance, just a 15-minute walk away. It's also a quick 10-minute taxi ride to the Romantic Show of Jiuzhaigou. There are mini-marts nearby and plenty of restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained. We really enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic! 👍🏻

A stay experience that far exceeded expectations, the really good hotel is never a luxury, but a detail and temperature hidden in the daily. From check-in to check-out, the room is clean and transparent, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the sound insulation and sleep comfort are full. The staff is gentle and measured, not deliberately disturbed but everything is comprehensive, so that the fatigue of the journey will dissipate instantly. There is no uniform assembly line service, I have sincere intentions, I want Amway after living, I will choose here next time.

The B&B is located inside the Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area. You can just flag down a park shuttle in front of the B&B, but not every shuttle will stop. The best part is that a one-day ticket allows you to visit for two days. The room itself is quite nice and very clean. Being at an altitude of 3300 meters is perfect for acclimatizing to high altitude sickness, and there's an oxygen machine in the room, which is a huge comfort for those prone to altitude sickness.

Whenever I visit Chengdu these past few years, I always stay at the Grand Hyatt. It offers excellent value for money. Firstly, the rooms are well-appointed, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and they even provide complimentary beverages. Secondly, the location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. Thirdly, it's perfect for shopping: located in the heart of Chunxi Road, with the Ginza Mall right downstairs and just a 5-minute walk to Taikoo Li and IFS. Fourthly, the breakfast spread is extensive and delicious. Lastly, the service quality is top-notch; everyone from the front desk staff to the restaurant servers and the doorman on the first floor is warm and attentive. All in all, I'll definitely be staying at the Grand Hyatt again next time!
