It's off-season, but the room rates weren't particularly low. Considering it was listed as one of Ctrip's top 50 B&Bs in China, I was a bit disappointed.
1. **Location**: It directly faces four peaks, but during the weekend, there were quite a few B&Bs under construction, so looking down, it was essentially a construction site view.
2. **Facilities**: I'd say they were just average. The small oxygen concentrator had virtually no effect, and at 3400m altitude, it was still quite challenging. This was a far cry from the advertised diffuse oxygen supply. The bathroom facilities were mediocre; the hot water pressure wasn't sufficient, and the temperature was unstable, so be cautious when showering. However, the toiletries provided were very good.
3. **Service**: The service during check-in, including luggage assistance, was very good. My main complaint is about check-out: after dropping us off at the parking lot, and knowing I was suffering a bit from altitude sickness, they just dumped our luggage and drove off, which felt a bit abrupt. It would have been more reasonable to help us load the large bags into our car.
4. **Dinner**: The few dishes we had tasted quite good, and the prices weren't high. However, the pasta wasn't very good, so I'd advise against ordering it. Breakfast was truly average.

The Sky-High Hot Spring Hotel was an absolute surprise on this trip! The main highlights have to be the elevated hot springs and the incredible design, which perfectly aligned with my aesthetic preferences. The room was primarily Wabi-sabi style, with custom solid wood furniture paired with simple white sheer curtains, creating a serene and luxurious atmosphere. Every corner exuded sophistication, making every casual photo look like a masterpiece. The 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, framing the Leshan city view like a flowing painting. Soaking in the private hot spring, you can gaze at the bustling city by day and sleep under the magnificent nightscape, all while enjoying complimentary bath salts or milk baths, and watching movies on the giant projector screen – the ambiance was absolutely perfect. The entire room featured smart controls, and the arched doorway bathroom with wet and dry separation showcased quality in every detail. The hotel's convenient location and thoughtful amenities, whether for a romantic getaway or a girls' trip, guarantee an ultimately relaxing experience. It's definitely on my 'must-stay' list for Leshan!

The hotel is very good, with good location and good facilities. The breakfast is also very rich, including Chinese and Western food. The tiramisu tastes very good. There are also robots that deliver fruits to your stay. The girl at the front desk was also very nice. Because I booked the wrong room, she gave me a free upgrade. I will choose this hotel next time I come.
We had a perfect National Day holiday with our kids at Club Med Heichan. From check-in to check-out, it was a constant stream of pleasant surprises – definitely a five-star experience!
Our deluxe lake-view room had an amazing view. The front desk upgraded us to a ground-floor room with a large garden when they learned we were two adults and two children. The space was bright and spacious, and opening the balcony door revealed the sparkling Black Dragon Lake. We could lie in bed and admire the lake and mountains, which was incredibly therapeutic. The room decor was simple and cozy, and the cleanliness was meticulous; every corner was spotless. The messages on the mirror were heartwarming, and the cleaning lady and the young man with glasses were both exceptionally friendly. When they heard we had run out of the provided mosquito repellent, they thoughtfully brought us more. In the evenings, turndown service was always ready, with cute little rabbits folded from towels. The complimentary teddy bear was from Harrods and wonderfully soft. The room was absolutely flawless. The air purifier was also a quick and thoughtful solution to any issues.
The all-inclusive dining was incredibly convenient! The food at the ANGRAN Buffet Restaurant was super diverse, with tender steaks, fresh seafood, authentic Sichuan dishes – spicy and satisfying without upsetting our stomachs. The exquisite desserts were unforgettable, and I ordered a mini hot pot every day. During non-meal times, there was also a noodle bar for extra snacks, which tasted very authentic. It was perfect for replenishing energy after playing. The YI Bar offered free flow of drinks and alcohol all day. The bartender, Ming, was enthusiastic and humorous, adding to the joyful atmosphere.
The service here was truly impeccable! The day before our arrival, Winnie added me on WeChat, sending daily updates on activities and checking in on us. Throughout our stay, all the G.O.s were warmly guiding us. They weren't just sports coaches; they also led dances at the evening parties and played with the kids. Both adults and children adored them. A special shout-out to Abu, who was particularly lively and outgoing. Everyone in the village, whether at the front desk, restaurant, or activity areas, was smiling and readily available to help with any questions, creating a very approachable environment.
This is definitely a paradise for family fun! The kids had a blast at the indoor heated children's water park, and the water slides were endlessly entertaining. The Mini Club G.O.s were excellent with kids, handling painting, crafts, and games, allowing parents to finally relax and enjoy some free time. Adults also had plenty of options: archery and rock climbing to challenge themselves, lakeside cycling with a pleasant breeze, and the outdoor infinity pool was perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. The evening activities were even more exciting, with energetic song and dance performances by the G.O.s. The firework show around 9 PM created an incredible atmosphere, and after the fireworks, a karaoke session was the perfect way to end the night!
Whether it's a family vacation or a trip with kids, this is an excellent choice. We will definitely come again! Highly recommended!

Caren at the front desk greeted us and checked us in. She discovered it was my birthday and organized a cake to be delivered to our room. She also gave us an excellent room on a higher level that was quiet. Caren introduced us to our bulter Michelle. With the use of WeChat, Michelle was able to provide us with excellent recommendations for locations to visit and restaurants no matter where we were in Chengdu. Her recommendations always exceeded our expectations! On my birthday, Michelle hand delivered a personalized card, panda and a JW Marriott Griffin to surprise me!
Overall, we were very satisfied with the standard of the accommodation, quality of the breakfast and the truly outstanding services provided by Michelle and other satff we encountered

As a husband and a father, I don’t just look for comfort—I look for peace of mind. This hotel delivered both.
Service was fast, thoughtful, and genuinely warm. Everything was clean, organized, and effortless, which matters when you’re traveling with family.
The environment feels premium yet welcoming, not stiff. My family felt safe, relaxed, and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Location is a huge win—surrounded by some of the best food Chengdu has to offer, with easy access everywhere.
This isn’t just a place to sleep. It’s a place where a family can truly rest.
Classy, reliable, and worth every cent.

The room was decent, I stayed there during New Year's Day. The welcome tea was just sitting there, and no one guided us on whether we could actually drink it or not at first. The gym and pool were good, and the high-altitude spa was a unique feature. The afternoon tea set was a bit too simple, just a coffee and one dessert, haha, a bit stingy! All items in the mini-bar in the room are chargeable, so be careful. I was a bit surprised that a deposit was required upon check-in. At check-out, they offered a cup of tea, which was delicious. It was very cold in Chengdu during New Year's 2026. The hotel isn't far from Chunxi Road, just a short taxi ride away. The weather was too cold, making it inconvenient to walk around, and there wasn't much to explore nearby. But a sauna at the hotel on a cold day was very comfortable!

Facilities: Overall, the stay was quite comfortable with no major issues. The room was spacious, featuring a small living room area where we could relax and enjoy some tea. The bathroom was large, and the vanity counter was big and practical, allowing us to place many items. The showerhead could use an upgrade; a higher-quality one with a more comfortable water flow would be a good idea. A nice touch about this B&B is the more personalized feel of the toiletries and attention to detail. For instance, new disposable toilet seat covers were provided daily. The bedding was decent, neither too soft nor too firm. The heating worked well, making the room warm quickly after being turned on. The lobby on the first floor has a lounge area with children's toys, which my son loved and played with every day upon our return. The backyard garden is beautifully designed, perfect for groups to gather around a tea stove and chat.
Cleanliness: Generally clean. The tea set we used the night before was cleaned by the staff the next day.
Environment: The back of the property faces old residential buildings, and I personally found the soundproofing to be mediocre. My room was in a corner, but I could still hear doors closing in the hallway. Thankfully, it generally quieted down around midnight. The interior decor of the room was decent, depending on personal taste.
Service: The front desk service was good, with staff being enthusiastic and polite. The complimentary fruit was very fresh, and there was also a small snack bag. Afternoon tea only included two drinks, and the Americano was just so-so. Breakfast was semi-buffet; after finishing the set meal, if you're still hungry, you can opt for the buffet. The set meal varied daily and tasted excellent, highly recommended.
Location: Within a 15-minute walk to Kuanzhai Alley. People's Park requires a one-stop bus ride. The subway station is within a 10-minute walk, so it's a convenient distance.
Parking: Located behind the hotel, shared with the residential complex. The number of parking spaces is limited.

The environment is clean and tidy, and the in-room phone service was very responsive. They were essentially able to meet all requests within reasonable limits (apologies for calling the front desk so many times, I had a lot going on, haha). They even gave a small gift when I checked out. The transportation nearby is convenient, with plenty of options for food, drinks, and entertainment. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Chengdu!

Le Meridien's breakfast is a highlight, with a lively atmosphere and delicious options like noodles, rice noodles, 'ka bing' (a local snack), and waffles! Highly recommended! The only downside is the long queues – why so much waiting?! The Chinese restaurant is also great! Seriously, everything in Emei Mountain tastes amazing.
The front desk service, especially the first person I encountered, was very lively and engaging. Housekeeping was a bit slow, so I'm docking half a point for that. The bellboy was also excellent!
Overall, it was a very good stay.
It's a shame that for us 'poor souls' (referring to himself jokingly as a 'workhorse'), New Year's prices at 1288 RMB were a bit steep 😭. It would be much more reasonable at a few hundred RMB during off-peak times, haha.

GGuest UserYou definitely get what you pay for, and I absolutely loved it! 🤩 If you have the budget, don't even think twice – just book this place! The staff are all incredibly friendly and, impressively, they all speak English. Daily breakfast and coffee are included, and staying for two days was absolutely wonderful. I would genuinely stay here every day if I weren't so short on cash and out of loyalty points! 😭 The courtyard is incredibly comfortable for relaxing, and even a sudden evening rain made for a cozy atmosphere. Wenshu Monastery is also just a short walk away, which is super convenient!
AAnonymous UserThe owner and staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, making me feel right at home. The owner went out of their way to help whenever possible. The breakfast spread was generous. The living environment was peaceful and serene, with a Zen-like ambiance. They even offered afternoon tea.
AAnonymous UserThe service attitude is super good. I am very satisfied. The front desk staff is super good. I like the bar environment very much. I go there almost every night. The price of cocktails is a bit expensive. It is about the same as the pricing level in Shanghai. The hotel corridor looks very ordinary. The room is generally very good and clean. The location of Huapaifang is very convenient. Wenjiaxiang and other places nearby can feel the atmosphere of the old community in Chengdu. It is very relaxing and comfortable. I like it very much. I spent a wonderful May Day holiday!

1118239****Just finished my stay at this hotel, and I must say it's been one of the most unexpectedly delightful experiences recently. From the moment of arrival, every single detail showed the hotel's meticulous care.
The hotel rooms are designed with expansive views, offering picturesque cityscapes or garden scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and even the mini-bar selection shows thoughtful consideration. I particularly appreciated the hotel's attention to detail – excellent soundproofing, a smart and convenient lighting and curtain system, and even thoughtfully placed power outlets. The private hot spring was superb in terms of privacy and comfort.
The staff were warm and efficient, even setting up a private service group to assist us.
The most impressive thing was when I realized my child had left their glasses in the room after we had checked out. I contacted the hotel staff, and they promptly helped find them and immediately arranged to mail them back to us. Hats off to their service!
I've already recommended this hotel to several friends and look forward to returning for another stay soon.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a really unique design, with many refreshing details. Miaomiao at the front desk even gave me a free room upgrade, so the room was much more spacious. I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast offered by the hotel was also high-quality. Overall, it's very suitable for young people.

MM60972****After returning from Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou, the rooms we booked there were quite standard. Back in the city, I wanted to experience a hotel with a strong ******* atmosphere, and after seeing the online reviews, I decisively booked this place for two nights. The location is great, quite close to Kuanzhai Alley. The hotel's decor exceeded my expectations; the public areas are filled with many items, yet they all blend together seamlessly and match perfectly. Where space is needed, it's never cluttered, making for a comfortable and well-balanced arrangement. The food is very simple, a mix of basic Western and Chinese options. The room is spotless and very comfortable. Both the owner and his wife are *******; judging by the decor, they seem to have an artistic background. They are both very friendly and welcoming. It's a guesthouse with great value for money.

YYuyuanananI loved it here! The facilities and atmosphere are among the best I've experienced. There's a high percentage of foreigners, which creates an excellent English-speaking environment. Simply perfect! The only tiny thing is that the bed creaks a bit.
CCeeVieAreThis is my first visit to Chengdu and Qionglai city. This hotel or courtyard stay is affiliated to Wyndham Garden along Wenjun Street i.e. big square with various shops for shopping (sports attire brands, yinshion, Miniso), dining and decors perfect for social media posting. Dining options include McD, KFC, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Chagee, Naixue, Heytea, Mixue and local brand dining or beverage operators. Outside the square/Wyndham Garden there are Lawson, Family Mart, 7 eleven and local Hongqiao marts(prices lower). Local mini restaurants selling Sichuan food, noodles, dumplings, snacks are also available outside the square/garden, opposite AllAboutLove bakery and Naixue outlet.
Qionglai city is closely associated with a historical female poet called Zhuo Wenjun. Her residence and Wenjun well built during Han Dynasty is located 10-15 mins walk from Wyndham Garden. Look for Bank of China branch and walk across the street to reach China Construction Bank branch
Then walk straight down until you see a public toilet on your right and cross the street. Walk until you see an open space carpark and go in the carpark you will find Wenjun Residence on your left, entry is free.
You may book a car to Qionglai city from Tianfu airport but be prepared to pay RMB400+ equivalent using trip app. Going back to Chengdu city by car is about RMB200. Standby with some cash if you encounter QR code scan problem. There are also buses and trains options to reach here.
1 -0.5 hours drive you can visit famous Tiantai Mountain, Pingle Ancient Town, Bamboo Canyon Scenic Area ( went there and love it❤️❤️❤) , Yuanwozi winery, etc. ️
My stay was very refreshing and Manager Ma was very helpful and accommodating to all my queries. My travelling plans to nearby attractions was fulfilled despite unfavourable weather, drizzling 2 days non stop. I would recommend for atleast 2 night stays to enjoy 1 day outskirt trip + 1 day chill in the room and enjoy backyard outdoor onsen to relax. Breakfast buffet include western (cereal/salad/eggs/sausages/ham/fries/bread), dimsum, soup, cakoi and soya bean, 3x types of porridges and condiments, local breakfast ( starter or salad, fried rice, meat and vegetable dishes), deserts, local fruits and cut fruits. Hotel staff can also help to order takeouts for you.
XXianglingRevisiting Jiuzhaigou after 20 years, it still lives up to its reputation of 'no need to see other waters after Jiuzhaigou'! I spent a long time choosing a hotel and finally decided on Days Inn by Wyndham, and the stay experience was quite good. Especially our butler, Xiao Ban, who contacted us in advance to share important information, proactively helped us arrange a nanny car for our return trip, and actively assisted with any issues – it felt like having family around! 😀😃 The hotel's breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of choices, fresh dishes, and fantastic taste! We had dinner at the hotel for both nights, and the yak hot pot deserves special praise – delicious and generous portions! The hotel's private shuttle service also made our journey much more comfortable!
