Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting. The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes. One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds. Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

The hotel is great and the accommodation experience is superb. A family of three came to Liuzhou and chose Radisson after comparing several hotels. I was not disappointed. The location is excellent and it is very close to the ancient town. You can see it through the window of the room, and you can also see part of Liujiang River. The hotel facilities are also very complete, with a swimming pool and laundry room. If it is too hot in the afternoon, you can swim and wait for the sun to set to visit the ancient town directly. Next time I come to Liuzhou, I will consider Radisson again.

The twin room was a bit cramped, and services were limited. We paid an extra 100 per day for executive lounge access, which included afternoon tea and happy hour. The location is unbeatable, with the lobby directly connected to the second floor of Hangyang City, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

Firstly the service at the hotel was very good, they have a staff member who speaks very good English so that helps alot. The staff members vivid and yanina were very fast at responding to any queries I had and offering solutions. The driver Awan was also very friendly. The hotel looks almost as good as it does on the pictures, the landscape is unreal like anything ive seen. The breakfast is quite good and has many different options. Overall its exactly what youd expect from a 5* hotel in Yangshuo.

I came here alone to clear my head, and the hotel's location is absolutely perfect. The view from the window is stunning, and just looking at it made me feel so much better. I was surprised to find a super cute kids' play area – even though I was by myself, I couldn't resist checking it out, and it was so full of childlike charm, really therapeutic! The dining was an even bigger surprise; the dishes were plentiful and tasted amazing, with fresh ingredients and excellent texture. It completely exceeded my expectations. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and the room was clean and comfortable. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!

The hotel is new and the service is excellent. It's very convenient, and they even thoughtfully provided disposable bath bags and toilet seat covers. Downstairs, you're right by the river, and next to a night market with street food and a pedestrian street. You absolutely have to try the complimentary wheat bran hair wash – it seems to be a specialty of Liuzhou, with hair salons everywhere. I paid extra for the family combo, which was incredibly comfortable and great value for money. The travel photos turned out amazing, highly recommended! The family room was on the 2nd floor. I thought for such a high price, we'd get a higher floor with a river view, but the upside was that the kids' ball pit was right outside the door, and my child had a fantastic time. The floor-to-ceiling windows at the 12th-floor bar and the outdoor balcony at the 13th-floor restaurant offer a great view of the musical fountain at night, helping you avoid the crowds downstairs. The only downside is that the hotel gets busy, and the restaurant is a bit small, so there were no tables available during breakfast peak hours. If I get the chance to visit Liuzhou again, I'll definitely stay at the Wyndham.

A perfect place to stay in Yangshuo, I regret not booking more days! This hotel in Yangshuo is absolutely divine! I originally only booked two nights, but as soon as I checked in, I regretted not extending my stay. The experience was truly amazing! Its location is superb – not far from West Street but just enough to avoid the noise, so it's very peaceful at night. It's only about a ten-minute walk to the Li River trail. If you want to visit attractions, the front desk can even help arrange a car, with transparent pricing so you won't get ripped off. My favorite part was the room's viewing balcony. Sitting on the rattan chair in the evening, enjoying the breeze and admiring the silhouettes of the distant mountains while sipping the complimentary osmanthus wine from the hotel, the ambiance was just perfect. The service was incredibly thoughtful! They proactively helped us with our luggage upon check-in, and seeing that we had elderly family with us, they even upgraded us to a family room with a sofa. Fresh breakfast was delivered to our room every morning; the aroma of the Guilin rice noodles' gravy was intoxicating, and the freshly baked waffles with fruit were so delicious I couldn't stop eating them. The housekeeping auntie was also very meticulous, tidying up the room perfectly every day and even helping to collect and fold our dried laundry. The facilities are also top-notch. The bedding in the room was super soft and comfortable, the bathroom was clean with a good wet/dry separation, and there was plenty of hot water. The hotel's small garden is exquisitely maintained, filled with bougainvillea and hydrangeas, making every photo a masterpiece. In the evening, small tables and chairs are set up in the garden, offering complimentary tea. Sitting there chatting with family and friends was simply delightful. When we checked out, the hotel even gave us local Yangshuo osmanthus cakes as a gift, which was incredibly heartwarming! Next time I visit Yangshuo, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I genuinely recommend it to all friends visiting Yangshuo!

This hotel was absolutely wonderful – it's more like an all-in-one resort than just a hotel. **About the Stay:** My stay at ”Poetry and Distance · Lijiang Courtyard” was such a pleasant surprise! The location is superb, right by the river, with the Lijiang trail literally at the doorstep. It's incredibly close to all the main attractions, and the room offered expansive views and was very quiet. **About the Food:** As a seasoned foodie, the hotel's dining is always my top priority, and this place truly delivered with unique options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, but my heart will always belong to their Guilin rice noodles. Made to order, served with a spoonful of their secret gravy, fried soybeans, and pickled long beans – the flavor was just incredible. I had to have two bowls to truly satisfy my craving. It's worth mentioning that the soy milk during breakfast is freshly ground, offering a very smooth texture and a rich soybean aroma. It truly tasted like homemade. Paired with a cup of freshly brewed coffee, sitting by the window and enjoying the view, this sense of leisure was incredibly therapeutic. **About the Photoshoot:** There was also a hidden bonus during my stay – a complimentary travel photoshoot. I initially just thought of taking a couple of quick pictures for a souvenir, but the photographer was excellent at guiding me, and the compositions were fantastic. What impressed me most was the natural and sophisticated post-editing; it looked authentic and not overdone. **Unexpected Delights:** The hotel's most unique feature? They have cormorants! And there's also an intangible cultural heritage craft experience to enjoy!

Extremely happy with my choice! I was initially torn between several highly-rated accommodations but I'm so glad I ultimately chose the Waterfall Hotel. Guilin was packed during Chinese New Year; traffic near Elephant Trunk Hill would be gridlocked until 10 PM. However, staying at the Waterfall Hotel, I could pull back the curtains and see Elephant Trunk Hill and the Twin Pagodas, and even enjoyed the New Year fireworks! Going up to the 26th-floor Sky Garden to get a panoramic view of the city's mountains was another fantastic experience. If you do want to brave the crowds, you can reach Zhengyang Street, the Twin Pagodas, and Elephant Trunk Hill Park within 2-3 minutes of stepping out. The hotel's internal facilities, hygiene, and service are all quite good. It's located in the city center, so transportation is very convenient. Although the room rate is high, already 14 'red notes' (colloquial for 1400 RMB) per night, the room is a bit small, which feels a little cramped. From the outside, the surrounding environment along the river is too crowded with people and cars, making it quite noisy. The loud speakers from Elephant Trunk Hill Park nearby are constantly blaring, so I really don't recommend choosing a so-called 'river view room'. My final suggestion: since the hotel hosts senior tour groups, but the dining times and locations are not separated, the restaurant turns into a bustling teahouse, significantly diminishing the experience for other guests and lowering the hotel's market positioning.
