GGuest UserI stayed at Citynote Hotel (Nanyue King Branch) for six nights and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent – just a short walk from the Nanyue King Museum, with the metro and bus stops very close by, so getting to Beijing Road, Shamian Island, and other attractions was quick and easy. The rooms are modern, minimalistic, and spacious, with super comfortable beds and good soundproofing – I slept really well each night. Housekeeping did a thorough job, and the front desk staff were warm and professional, even recommending a few authentic local Cantonese restaurants nearby. Breakfast wasn't fancy but hit the spot, with congee, noodles, and rice rolls that felt very local.
The only downside was the Wi-Fi – it was noticeably slow and a bit unstable, especially in the evenings, making video streaming and file uploads laggy. If you depend on a fast connection, that could be frustrating. Still, this is a minor flaw in an otherwise great value hotel. I'd recommend it to travellers who care about location and cleanliness, but business guests might want to bring a mobile hotspot as backup. I'd happily stay here again.

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

It's within walking distance of high-end shopping malls, subway stations, and major office buildings, making it incredibly convenient for both business travelers and leisure shoppers. From the room, the city skyline offers a panoramic view, with lush greenery complementing the towering buildings, showcasing the perfect blend of urban prosperity and natural beauty. The front desk staff member was warm and attentive during check-in, even offering us breakfast vouchers, a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more pleasant.

GGuest UserThe location is super convenient, right next to the subway station. It's also close to shopping malls like Guomao and Vanke, so it's great for shopping. The service was warm and attentive; the front desk staff was very responsive to all our requests. I highly recommend it for your 51 (May Day) holiday trip!

GGuest UserWe've stayed at hotels all the way from Sanya to Zhuhai, Macau, and Shenzhen, and this was our first time at a Ritz-Carlton property. Initially, I thought the service in Sanya was the best. Then we went to Macau, and it surpassed Sanya. But until we stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for our final stop, I can confidently say it was the best service we've experienced on this trip. From the moment we got out of the car until we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The hotel was undergoing renovations, so there was some noise, but we weren't in the room during the day as we were out exploring, so it didn't bother us. Finally, I have to give a full five-star review to Ms. Sun Jingyu from housekeeping. She noticed we had laundry and thoughtfully brought us hangers and even laundry detergent. My friend also left her makeup bag in the room, and 'Candy' from the hotel specifically called to let us know. Thank you to all these wonderful people who made our rainy trip so much warmer. Shenzhen is truly a beautiful city, and I'll definitely be back next time. Looking forward to my next visit!

GGuest UserThe place is clean, front desk made their best to communicate with us. My kids really enjoy staying there. They were so sad while leaving. The place is very spacious for a big family of 5. The view was everything. The canton tower was just at my bedroom balcony. The night view was amazing.The security was a plus. They offer a variety of food for breakfast and really cheap per person. You can find your way around easily. I will live there again and again. I really recommend that place.

GGuest UserI chose the Hengqin Bay Hotel for a short weekend trip to Zhuhai with my family, and our two-day, one-night stay was absolutely perfect – well worth it! The hotel's location is a huge plus, right next to all the Chimelong theme parks, very close to Ocean Kingdom and the Circus City. It's incredibly convenient for transportation, saving a lot of time on commuting, which is ideal for a short getaway. The hotel itself is massive, with beautiful garden landscaping, lush greenery, and vibrant flowers complemented by sea views, offering spectacular natural scenery. The overall decor is high-end and grand, with a distinct ocean theme that really sets the atmosphere. Both the lobby and guest rooms are exquisitely decorated and well-maintained, not outdated. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with a practical layout and ample storage, so there's no crowding with luggage or while moving around. The indoor ventilation is excellent, making the air fresh and comfortable, leading to a very pleasant stay. The hotel features an Instagram-famous water park with various attractions, including a shallow area for kids and a lazy river, offering incredible fun that could easily fill half a day. The breakfast buffet has extended hours, and dishes are continuously replenished and never run out. There's a wide variety of Chinese and Western cuisine to suit all tastes. The staff provides attentive and thoughtful service, quickly responding to any requests with a gentle and patient attitude. It's a perfect escape from the fast pace of city life, allowing for immersive relaxation and a superb leisure atmosphere. The value for money is outstanding, making it highly recommended for a weekend short break – definitely worth repeat visits!

Beyond the excellent facilities, the most important thing was the help we received from our butler, Holly, and the front desk staff, Betty, which made our family trip of eight incredibly enjoyable.
I particularly want to commend Holly for her thoughtful service. Before our check-in, she specially arranged birthday decorations for us, organized a cake, and even upgraded our room. She also booked a craft class for our children. Her service was truly exceptional.

Annie Yan at the front desk promptly processed our check-in and provided useful information. The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious. The air conditioning was especially great – perfect for Guangzhou's hot weather, keeping the room nice and cool, which instantly made me feel relaxed. The soundproofing was excellent too; it was very quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. It was a satisfying weekend hotel experience and a great place for a future getaway. I'll definitely be back!

HHelabiyuqingFacilities: Absolutely fantastic! The hotel's facilities and amenities far exceed those of a typical three-star hotel – a pleasant surprise indeed! They also offer stylish and elegant complimentary tea rooms, both large and small, for guests to relax and enjoy tea. The room's lights, air conditioning, curtains, and bathroom are all smart and very convenient to use.
Cleanliness: If there's one outstanding feature of Huiyuan, besides its beauty and tastefulness, it has to be its impeccable cleanliness! It's the cleanest hotel I've ever seen. I stayed here for an exam at Huazhong Agricultural University, and despite the rainy weather, my second-floor room didn't feel damp or unclean at all. From the lobby to the room, everything was exceptionally spotless. Robot vacuums and cleaning staff were all diligently at work, meticulously cleaning the stairs and corridors. There wasn't a speck of dust in the room, no strange odors, and the solid wood furniture also had no unpleasant smell – very comforting!
Environment: It's like a beautiful garden villa. The podocarpus trees, hydrangeas, lemon trees, orchids, ponds, and koi fish – all the plants and animals are so well-cared for. There are also several tea rooms on the first floor with a wonderful ambiance... Sitting there sipping tea and practicing calligraphy is one of life's true pleasures. The hotel owner truly has great taste and vision.
Service: All the hotel staff are very gentle and approachable, making you feel right at home. On the first day, when I was checking in and about to go upstairs, the owner proactively helped me with my luggage. When I wanted to throw away some trash after lunch, the cleaning uncle told me to just give it to him. While I was exploring the courtyard, the room cleaning staff were also very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. The owner heard we were here for an exam and even offered to drive us there; all we had to do was tell the front desk the time. The next morning, on the day of the exam, the owner punctually drove us. He said he does this for all guests taking exams, as long as they inform him in advance.
Summary: This is truly a wonderfully comfortable hotel. The facilities and amenities are excellent, very stylish and high-class. If you have any problems or needs, the hotel will help resolve them. I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
