The location is excellent, right next to Beijing Road, and it's about a five-minute walk to Gongyuanqian metro station. Plus, 'Dian Dou De' dim sum restaurant is right next door, and getting a taxi is super convenient. The front desk lady even gave us a free room upgrade. The bedding was comfortable and didn't make any noise, and they provided two types of pillows – one soft and one memory foam – catering to different preferences. Next time I'm in Guangzhou, this will definitely be my go-to place, and I'll be recommending it to all my friends.

The staff at the main entrance were also very helpful, assisting us with arranging transportation for Alan (何志远) and our daily travel needs, which made a big difference for us. Additionally, many thanks to Allen (蔡明生), who helped coordinate the shuttle bus to and from the Canton Fair. His attention to detail made our schedule much smoother. Overall, this stay was not only comfortable but also provided impeccable service. Highly recommended!

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel boasts new facilities, a clean environment, and an excellent overall experience. The decor is subtly luxurious and stylish, public areas are high-end and elegant, and guest rooms are spacious. Equipped with smart devices, premium appliances, and exquisite furniture, the comfort level is top-notch. The hygiene standards are exceptionally high; from the lobby entrance to the guest rooms, everything is spotless with no overlooked corners. The bedding is soft and clean, the bathroom is well-separated (wet/dry zones) and free of odors, and the toiletries are of good quality. The gym equipment is brand new, and the kids' play area is clean and safe. Everything is well-maintained, and attention to detail truly reflects quality. Highly recommend!

The hygiene was excellent, the environment was lovely, and it's very close to the pedestrian street. The front desk staff was incredibly enthusiastic and proactively upgraded our room type. The service staff on the twelfth floor were also warm and polite. This is a hotel with great value for money.

The location on google map is WRONG! How can ”18 Zhujiang East Road in Tianhe District” be in the Yuexiu District on google map? The location map inside the Trip app is correct. The nearest Metro station is Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center, which is about 4 mins from hotel on foot (290m). Stayed at this room called ”J Apartment (Smart Guest Control + Spacious + High Privacy)” in the trip app. The room is good, big and clean. No safe in the room. There was some construction noise that started at 10am.

The service at the 30th-floor revolving restaurant was absolutely horrendous, from the female manager down to the female staff. I really don't even want to talk about them; they seriously need a complete overhaul! (The male staff were fine, constantly working hard.) In these tough times for finding a job, while customers might not be 'gods,' they at least contribute to your employment. I can't believe the Garden Hotel has come to this. On the other hand, the manager of room service was excellent. He was very professional and highly capable at coordinating and getting things done. When I checked into room 2122, there were cookie crumbs on the table. The floor attendant notified the supervisor, who, with great coordination skills, immediately helped me switch to a clean room on the same floor. As someone who frequently stays at five-star hotels, I must commend this young man. 👍

It's like a fairytale castle by the sea; opening the window reveals a magnificent ocean view, instantly lifting your spirits. You can enjoy the indoor and outdoor water parks anytime, and when you're tired, take a stroll on Flamingo Island. The guest room details are thoughtful, and the buffet offers such a wide variety that you'll be spoilt for choice. You can even buy small gifts for your family. The most convenient part is the hotel's direct shuttle boat to Ocean Kingdom, which is both romantic and practical. In short, it's beautiful, fun, and comfortable – super satisfied!

The entire hotel really showcases a lot of thought and effort in its design, especially with all the small details – you can snap a great picture almost anywhere. The butler service was excellent and very attentive, and all the staff were proactive and welcoming. Our room overlooked the pastoral scenery through a full-length window, making it incredibly comfortable and airy. However, due to the overall design style, there's nowhere to hide or block views within the room. If you're not a couple, this might be a bit inconvenient. A small suggestion: adding blinds to the toilet and shower room doors would be helpful. Also, it would be great if some soft cushions could be provided in the cabinet for the tatami area, available for guests to use if needed. If you're looking to escape the city's hustle and bustle, this is a wonderful place for a getaway. On clear days, you can catch beautiful sunsets, and at night, you can look up to a sky full of stars and fall asleep to the sounds of nature. Just a heads-up: the pool wasn't open yet during our visit, and you need to communicate with the butler in advance to use the public hot spring area. The restaurant serves excellent new-style fusion cuisine with a farmhouse flair, and the butler will arrange everything perfectly for you. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I'd consider staying here again if I have the chance!

The rooms have many thoughtful designs, including a small vanity mirror, and the air conditioner vents have deflectors, which is a very user-friendly touch. The hotel also has a laundry room with washing machines, dryers, and irons, which is perfect for modern travelers who appreciate convenience and ease (honestly, I'm comparing you to a certain brand, and you're just as good, even better in terms of service). It's truly considerate. The hand soap smells lovely, and the staff ladies always greet you with a smile. When checking in, they even provide a local travel guide, so you don't have to worry about planning your outings. Any questions you have are answered thoroughly. The breakfast offers a wide and rich selection of items, and the freshly cooked noodles from the auntie at the noodle station are delicious. The hotel also provides four pillows, which is comfortable for using your phone while leaning against them, and convenient for people like me who prefer high pillows. This time, I chose the Shangri-La Shenzhen with my wife, children, and my mother who came from Australia to stay with us, and the overall experience was very satisfying. Many years ago, I frequently stayed at Shangri-La hotels in different countries for work, so I'm very familiar with the brand. I'd always hoped to share this wonderful experience with my family one day, and now that dream has finally come true. The hotel staff—from the greeters at the entrance, the front desk, lobby security, cleaning team, to the restaurant servers—were all incredibly dedicated, polite, and attentive, making us feel completely at home. The room was clean and comfortable, and the kids had a blast in the pool. It would be even more perfect if they could add a heated pool, as the outdoor weather is still a bit chilly. The only minor suggestion is that the quality of the restaurant's buffet could be improved. It would be even better if it could reach the five-star standard of Shangri-La buffets in other countries. Overall, we are very grateful to all the staff at Shangri-La Shenzhen for making this family trip so warm and memorable with their professionalism and passion.
