A hidden gem tucked away in Guangzhou's old city. Xino Lite strikes the perfect balance between minimalist aesthetics and practical comfort. The warm lighting and clean furnishings make every corner picture-perfect. The room's natural light is incredible, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering city views – you can even watch the sunset from bed. The mattress is soft yet supportive, and the toiletries are mild and pleasantly scented; a dream for anyone who appreciates the details! Downstairs, you're right on Beijing Road, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle, incredibly refreshing.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was comfortable and relaxing. The overall service standard was excellent and definitely deserves a full five-star rating.
A special thank you to Ivy Zhang (张静) for her attentive care. Her service was professional and detailed, making us feel at home throughout our entire stay. Everything was handled with great care.
We would also like to thank Nicole (陈碧君). Her warm welcome at the lobby every day made us feel very comfortable. The staff at the main entrance were also very helpful, assisting us with arranging transportation for Alan (何志远) and our daily travel needs, which made a big difference for us.
Additionally, many thanks to Allen (蔡明生), who helped coordinate the shuttle bus to and from the Canton Fair. His attention to detail made our schedule much smoother.
Overall, this stay was not only comfortable but also provided impeccable service. Highly recommended!

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel boasts new facilities, a clean environment, and an excellent overall experience. The decor is subtly luxurious and stylish, public areas are high-end and elegant, and guest rooms are spacious. Equipped with smart devices, premium appliances, and exquisite furniture, the comfort level is top-notch. The hygiene standards are exceptionally high; from the lobby entrance to the guest rooms, everything is spotless with no overlooked corners. The bedding is soft and clean, the bathroom is well-separated (wet/dry zones) and free of odors, and the toiletries are of good quality. The gym equipment is brand new, and the kids' play area is clean and safe. Everything is well-maintained, and attention to detail truly reflects quality. Highly recommend!

We extended our stay for one night. This old hotel was very luxurious 30 years ago. The revolving restaurant on the top floor will still be revolving in 2026, and that's where breakfast is served. However, it's not for everyone; some of us get 'restaurant seasickness.' We couldn't possibly eat three breakfasts, which were included in our initial three-night booking. We tried to talk to the front desk manager about getting discount vouchers or something so we could eat at their downstairs restaurant instead. No! No! No! It felt like they refused everything they possibly could. They wouldn't even give us a single cage of char siu bao (BBQ pork buns)... I felt like the money for those three breakfasts was completely wasted.

My family has arrived the resident around 1240hrs which is much earlier than official check in time. However the counter staff was attentive whom has surprisingly offered to us with instant FOC upgrade from 2 rooms to 3 rooms unit and allowing us to move into unit immediately. It is located at 29 highest floors end of corridor corner unit. The viewing angle has 2 sides of street view instead of normal single side. One side of it is able to see Pearl river.😍😍It also just few walking steps to restaurant for breakfast or afternoon tea and gym are situated on the same level 😘😘
The pros 👍👍:
1. Great interior design with cosy ambiance.
2. The building security access is enhanced for guests safety.
3. In-room clothes washer with dryer and detergent was provided.
4. Breakfast with ample choice and perfect coffee served.
5. Daily housekeeping.
6. The food delivery is using robot to transport from L1 to guest room.
The cons😩😩:
A. The kitchen is empty without any cooking wares.
B. In the late night some wired knocking noise from ceiling.
C. The water pressure is low.
D. The afternoon tea is served with very limited items.
E. The guests have to alight along the road side without any shelter if bad weather.
F. The Didi and Baidu app unable to locate J Resident which has to enter J Mansion (J 公館)
G. The wifi is very unstable and easy disconnected.
H. The double bed in each bedroom is only fitting for 2 small body sizes guests to sleep on it.

The Garden Hotel Guangzhou truly lives up to its platinum five-star reputation, exuding strong Lingnan charm! The lobby murals are stunning, and the 18-meter waterfall in the backyard is like a 'hidden paradise' right in the city center – perfect for photos. The guest rooms are retro yet comfortable, with excellent bedding. The service is attentive and thoughtful. Its location right by Taojin metro station makes getting around incredibly convenient. A perfect experience!

This time, for our Chimelong trip, we chose to stay at the Hengqin Bay Hotel, and I'm really glad we did! First off, the hotel is beautiful. We were even given a complimentary upgrade to a family room, which we truly appreciated and were very happy with. The lobby is spacious and elegant, with a subtle, relaxing fragrance. The room had full Wi-Fi signal, complimentary welcome fruit, and overall, the facilities were new and the service was excellent. The hotel's 'flash card' activity was quite innovative and my child loved it. The breakfast buffet service was good, and the variety of food was decent. I highly recommend the Chinese restaurant – the food was very authentic. However, everywhere in the hotel mentioned a dolphin pool activity at 18:30, but it wasn't there and we didn't see any cancellation notice, which was disappointing. Also, the dinner buffet was truly just okay, very average, with limited options and not much flavor; there's definitely room for improvement there. Another minor inconvenience is that food deliveries have to be picked up at the shuttle bus stop, which isn't very convenient, especially when you're alone with a child. Many family-friendly hotels now use robots for food delivery, which this hotel could consider implementing. Overall, it was a good stay, and I'd recommend it!

The entire hotel really showcases a lot of thought and effort in its design, especially with all the small details – you can snap a great picture almost anywhere. The butler service was excellent and very attentive, and all the staff were proactive and welcoming.
Our room overlooked the pastoral scenery through a full-length window, making it incredibly comfortable and airy. However, due to the overall design style, there's nowhere to hide or block views within the room. If you're not a couple, this might be a bit inconvenient. A small suggestion: adding blinds to the toilet and shower room doors would be helpful. Also, it would be great if some soft cushions could be provided in the cabinet for the tatami area, available for guests to use if needed.
If you're looking to escape the city's hustle and bustle, this is a wonderful place for a getaway. On clear days, you can catch beautiful sunsets, and at night, you can look up to a sky full of stars and fall asleep to the sounds of nature. Just a heads-up: the pool wasn't open yet during our visit, and you need to communicate with the butler in advance to use the public hot spring area. The restaurant serves excellent new-style fusion cuisine with a farmhouse flair, and the butler will arrange everything perfectly for you.
Overall, it was a very good experience, and I'd consider staying here again if I have the chance!

The room was okay, but what bothered me was finding a hole in the bath towel after showering. I've reported it to the hotel and hope they improve their linen checks. The breakfast, served from 7 to 11 am, was standard fare with noodles, rice vermicelli, eggs, and congee. However, I noticed the small persimmons at breakfast weren't fresh. I'd suggest the hotel not serve items that aren't up to par, as it can negatively impact the customer experience.

Another Fabulous stay, from start to finish.
This hotel is becoming a second home in Shenzhen!
It was not my first stay at the Shangri-La Luohu, and it will not be the last. I missed the pulse and liveliness of the marketplace at Shenzhen port, and the Shangri-La is perfectly located for an incredible stay.
It’s a friendly place to stay with the warmest of welcomes.
The Shangri-La reception team shared helpful suggestions on where to go and how to get there, suggestions that made a difference. The room standard has been consistent. The city view room was bright, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The amenities are fantastic with a well-kept sauna and jacuzzi.
I would like to extend a huge thank you to the team who were a pleasure to chat with and get to know. I hope the weekend brings you a lovely moment in your diverse neighbourhood :)

GGuest UserSumi, the Executive Lounge Supervisor, provided truly excellent service! The entire front office team was incredibly attentive. Leo and Natalie at the front desk, along with Kayla and Irene in the lounge, made me feel completely at home. I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend everyone come and experience the best hotel in Shenzhen.
GGuest UserThe front desk service was very attentive, and their attention to detail was a nice touch. The location is excellent, and the room was clean and tidy. They offer free parking, and the facilities are comprehensive, with a laundry room and gym available for use. The breakfast was also quite good.
GGuest UserDecided to stay at the hotel on a whim!
**Cleanliness:** Super clean! Everywhere I looked, even the walk-in closet, was dust-free! That's really impressive!
**Environment:** Located in Guangzhou's CBD, directly opposite the Canton Tower. It shares a parking lot with K11, and it's very close to Taikoo Hui and other shopping malls by car.
**Service:** Excellent service. I added the butler's WeChat, and they upgraded me to a room with a direct, first-line view of the Canton Tower and the river – huge thanks to Sophia! They also promptly recommended the hotel's dining services, which was very convenient! Parking is also super easy; you can park on B4, and once you see the hotel sign, you can take the elevator directly to the 1st floor. Just tell the hotel your license plate number before you leave.
**Facilities:** The lobby is on the 95th floor and features Chinese and Western restaurants, a bar, and a teppanyaki Japanese restaurant. There's also a swimming and fitness center, which is fantastic! On the 107th floor, Too High has live band performances starting at 8 PM, and the quality is quite high. Even on a weekday night, it was almost full by 9 PM – definitely worth experiencing. (Docked a point mainly because the hallways are really dark; walking alone felt a bit spooky.)

GGuest UserPros
- Both our rooms at level 10 were relatively close to each other facing the Wong Tee Plaza. It might be a way of the said front desk staff allocating these rooms to us to compensate for our unpleasant check in experience (see below). Spectacular views and we managed to spectate the night light show on Saturday without needing to go to the Civic Centre.
- Facilities are great including 24-hour well equipped gym and sauna (best of all hotels in China we experienced so far).
- Rooms are relatively new and fully equipped with necessities, has a dyson air dryer, Toto automatic toilet, automated curtains and a steamer to iron the clothes.
- Breakfast had a lot of varieties to offer (personally loved the oden and sushi section), good service too.
- Housekeeping was amazing. As I was leaving my room, Joy asked if we were interested in their laundry services and we declined as we do not have much laundry to do.
After the first day of housekeeping, she noticed we did simple laundry (1-2 pieces of undergarment) and offered us a complimentary mini laundry detergent. We appreciate her thoughtfulness despite the fact that we initially declined her services.
- Check out was relatively seamless, I believe it was the front office manager that managed our check out and explained the deposit refund procedures accordingly.
- Concierge was decent too as they suggested we are better off getting a Didi to transfer our move to our next destination, and helped us load our bags to the Didi.
Cons
The only downside experience was check in. We requested if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms (all good if not, at least as close to each other as possible within the same floor). We were advised that given interconnecting rooms are not available for the same type of rooms:
1.The staff provided an offer (upgrade to one of the bigger rooms that has interconnecting room with free 3 days hotel breakfast for 2 out of 4 pax). The quote/offer was outside of our budget hence we declined the offer and we just accept our original booking via Trip.com with no interconnecting rooms.
2.After we declined, the staff informed us that she miscalculated the price (from RMB 31k down to RMB 20k) for the same offer. This is very odd/confusing to us especially with the price difference due to miscalculation, and she was trying to push this offer to us again which we declined. At this point, whatever price quoted to us of this offer lost its credibility and we proceeded to stick to our original booking.
3.The staff said that she will notify us via WeChat (she added us on WeChat) once the room is ready. Understood at that time it was before check in time (i.e. before 3pm) hence we decided to grab lunch and come back after the check in time.
It was past 3pm and we heard nothing from her upon returning to hotel and had to approach the front desk to ask for an update. The same staff managed to provide us key card for one of the rooms while the other room is still not ready (it was past 3:20pm at that time). She said that she will arrange one of her coworkers to deliver the keycards to us once that other room is ready. Around 3:50-4:20pm, we heard nothing (I walked past the other room and noted the housekeeping has finished cleaning up the room and left). I had to go to the front desk to request an update and eventually obtained the keycard.
I am not sure if the above stems from the individual's motivation or if this is part of the hotel's standard procedure to aggressively upsell (even if we already said no) or if the front desk is pressured to meet monthly KPIs, but that left us an unpleasant check in experience and obviously did not represent the check in hospitality standards of the hotel itself.
Aside from the check in, we loved everything hence we had to give 4 out of 5.

DDalaohujiushiwo[Location] Excellent. It's convenient to go south to Sun & Moon Bay, even Fisher Girl and Love Post Office, and north to Zhongda Tangjia. If you don't want to drive or take a taxi, you can also ride shared bikes with back seats, usually found right outside the hotel entrance. There's also a beach nearby where you can dig for small seafood.
[Facilities] The room is quite large, clean, and tidy, with a nice view from the balcony (though our room's sea view doesn't include Sun & Moon Bay). There are two beaches for digging in the sand. The outdoor pool is very picturesque. There's no indoor heated pool. The gym is good, but the kids' club is a bit small.
[Activities] During the May Day holiday, there were activities in the morning, afternoon, and evening, but we only participated in the morning ones. On the first day, it was canvas bag painting, and on the second day, straw art crafts. My child had a lot of fun. The staff were very patient and nice. On May 5th, a big brother (didn't catch his name) taught us how to make fish, and a big sister and big brother (Ken) taught us how to make grasshoppers. The kids were small and not very good at it, but they patiently taught them hand-in-hand. Thumbs up! The hotel should reward them 🍗.
[Dining] There were many breakfast staff and the service was very good, but the overall buffet breakfast was quite average, especially the hot dishes, which were very limited. It felt like apart from the bread being better than similar hotels, the choices in other main categories were a bit weak. Hope they can improve.

GGuest UserPoor value for money. For a 500-a-night hotel, the facilities are very ordinary.
1. The view from the window was blocked by signs and air conditioning units, completely obscured and covered in trash. We had to ask the front desk to move us to the 10th floor to get a more open view, although it was still facing dilapidated buildings and completely different from the photos.
2. The fridge wasn't plugged in, and there was no clear indication. We only realized it wasn't plugged in after leaving a cake in it overnight. We then found a notice tucked into a gap in the table saying to save electricity, so the fridge is unplugged by default.
3. The 8th floor had a strong smell of disinfectant.
4. Inconvenient transportation. While not far from the subway station as the crow flies, it's not a short walk. No ride-hailing cars would accept our requests, so we ended up having to take the bus.
5. The shampoo was terrible; my hair felt like I'd washed it with soapy water afterwards.
