The facilities and amenities are comprehensive, and the smart voice control in the room is excellent. The decor is stylish and simple. The service is attentive and personalized, and the management is thoughtful and meticulous. The environment is great, and getting a taxi is very convenient. The room is spacious, and it's close to popular attractions like Beijing Road and Canton Tower, making it easy to get around. There's also parking available. This will be my top choice next time I visit Guangzhou.

Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen truly lives up to its reputation as a service supreme hotel. Not only is it the highest Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen, but the service throughout my stay was impeccable. I was thrilled to find out on this business trip that I was staying at the same hotel as my idol, Mr. Andy Lau! Enjoying breakfast on the soaring 78th floor felt like being in a fairyland. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the turndown service was as thoughtful as ever. Room service was very responsive. The welcome fruit was fresh and seasonal, and knowing my child enjoyed it, they sent another portion early the next morning. The family-friendly setup was warm and appropriate, and the kids' activities were a lot of fun. Finally, the checkout staff were very polite, escorted me all the way downstairs, and had a record of all my previous requests. I'm sorry I didn't catch their name, but I want to give them a big thumbs up here! It truly is my favorite hotel. While there are many luxury hotels, I particularly adore this one with its oriental charm. Mandarin Oriental will always be my first choice from now on! My only regret this time was that due to limited availability, I couldn't get an upgrade, and also, the welcome music was no longer ”Kangding Love Song.”

Having chatted with a manager during afternoon tea at the Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen, who thoroughly explained their operating philosophy to me, I chose the Mandarin Oriental for my Guangzhou trip this time to experience it firsthand. Although it's an older five-star hotel, the service here is truly impressive. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the staff greeted us with professional attitudes and warm smiles, impeccably dressed, showcasing the brand's elegance in every detail. Room service was even more exquisite and attentive; the bedding was comfortable, amenities complete, and cleaning meticulous, with even the corners spotless. Whether it was guiding us through check-in or responding to daily requests, their high level of professionalism was evident. The overall experience was comfortable and reassuring; it's a hotel that truly excels in service, highly recommended. 1) Despite being in a bustling area, it's exceptionally quiet, perfect for introverts. 2) Getting around is incredibly convenient. This was the only time I've ever traveled entirely by subway without feeling any inconvenience. 3) Taikoo, where the hotel is located, along with nearby Central Plaza and Zhengjia Plaza, can satisfy all kinds of shopping needs. 4) The hotel's shower water pressure is excellent, and the bathtub is comfortable.

I came to Guangzhou for a trip and saw that this hotel had pretty high ratings, and I was also drawn to its location. First, the location is excellent; it's near Tianhuan and Zhengjia, right next to the subway station – you exit the subway and there's the hotel. The hygiene was also quite good, the soundproofing was decent, and the shower had strong water pressure. The front desk gave me two room cards during check-in, one of which could be used as an electricity card, which was a nice touch. Downsides: Most of the drawbacks are related to the facilities, which I'd consider 'major flaws.' First, the elevators. The building is 30 stories high (shared by two hotels), and I'd estimate there are about 20 rooms per floor, but there are only three elevators: one for all floors, and one for odd floors and one for even floors respectively. Waiting times for the elevators are very long, and the elevator linkage isn't well-done. Pressing the down button on one elevator doesn't link to the others, so almost everyone ends up pressing both the all-floor elevator and the odd/even floor elevator buttons, which wastes elevator resources. Second, in the Deluxe King Room, there were no power outlets on the side of the bed next to the window, which is very impractical. Looking at the decor, it seems like it was renovated in recent years, so this lack of basic infrastructure makes for a poor experience. Third, during my stay in room 1210, the cover of the filter self-rescue respirator by the bed was open. I checked it, and fortunately, the vacuum seal inside was intact; otherwise, I would have definitely asked housekeeping to replace it. This really needs to be checked more carefully, as it's a life-saving device. Fourth, if you're driving to the hotel, you'd better be an excellent driver. The underground parking spot is first not easy to find, and then the garage itself is quite narrow, making it very difficult to park large, long vehicles. Fifth, very little breakfast was prepared. For popular items like steamed dumplings and char siu bao, I went at around 9 am, and the kitchen said they were out. It felt like they just didn't want to steam another batch, even though there were still many people in the restaurant at that time. Sixth, the hairdryer in the room had very weak airflow. It takes a long time to dry long hair, and the hotel didn't provide any alternatives. The airflow is genuinely too weak.

It’s a great hotel in in a very good location hotel lobby and facilities were great, including free laundry service on the second floor rooms itself was fine however, I did notice that the walls were not clean and had gray and dark patches throughout the room. But overall, I would still look again service was great and front desk was friendly

I stayed here with a group of three and booked 2 double rooms, one for myself and one for my mother and my sister. The rooms are certainly spacious and the staff were very helpful in terms of making our first time in China very smooth with providing us with a dedicated airport pick up. I would highly recommend staying here if it’s your first time in Guangzhou as it’s close to Michellin star restaurants and a lot of shops. 杨晓静 provided us with an amazing service and was very helpful with answering any questions we had towards our stay. All of the staff were extremely helpful and answered any questions we had, and the hotel provided a WeChat account to contact them for any queries that we had They also accept taobao parcels for you, just make sure to order in advance. They let you order up to 3 days in advance, which gives peace of mind as you can collect your parcel when you arrive

This stay was exceptionally good! The location is excellent, making travel very convenient. The room was newly renovated, and the staff were all very welcoming, creating a great living experience. I especially want to thank Erick Lu, Mandy Li, and Cindy Long from the Executive Lounge for their attentive hospitality. The concierge also provided excellent assistance. The hotel is well-staffed, so even with a high volume of guests, they managed to serve everyone well, and service responses were very prompt. Overall, the service was meticulous and thoughtful, and the environment was comfortable and relaxing. I had a truly pleasant stay and sincerely appreciate everyone's dedication. I look forward to my next visit!

The hotel environment is excellent, and the location is superb. It's only a 2-3 minute walk to the Pearl River to see the Canton Tower on the opposite bank. The hygiene is meticulously maintained, and the soundproofing is good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff are friendly, and it's convenient for getting around. Highly recommended!

We brought our child to Chimelong and chose the Hengqin Bay Hotel. After our stay, we felt it was very suitable for families with children. When traveling with kids, you usually have a lot of luggage, so it was incredibly practical to be able to drop off our bags directly upon arrival without having to wait until after check-in to head to the park. The staff proactively informed us about the opening hours of the water park and the shuttle pier, saving us from wasted trips. The room was clean, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water came out quickly. After a full day of playing, soaking in the bathtub was relaxing for both kids and adults. Children's toiletries were provided in the room, showing great attention to detail. The hotel isn't just for sleeping; it has plenty of activities for children right inside. You don't have to queue up at the theme park; you can watch dolphins right at the hotel. There's an outdoor platform and an indoor underwater glass viewing area, allowing close-up views of dolphins swimming back and forth – our child was completely engrossed. The flamingos in the gardens were right by the walkway. After dinner, we took a leisurely stroll, enjoying the animals as we walked, which was very relaxing. The water park was our child's favorite part. The indoor heated area meant we didn't have to worry about rain or cold, and the outdoor lazy river and splash pools offered a lot of fun. There were enough lockers and showers in the water play area, and safety officers were constantly on duty by the water, which gave parents a bit more peace of mind.

Had a wonderful two-night, three-day stay at the hotel. First, I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade, and our butler, Sini, was very thoughtful, providing ample warm reminders and responding super quickly. Other staff members we encountered also responded and resolved issues very promptly. The overall feeling the hotel gave was attentive and professional. The hotel isn't new, but it's well-maintained and nicely laid out. I heard it was fully booked one of the nights, but aside from the buffet breakfast being a bit crowded, it never felt overly busy. The hotel has a great resort vibe. It's a shame that with kids, there were many beautiful spots where we couldn't take good photos. Buffet Breakfast: Rich and fresh. Freshly squeezed juices, Cantonese-style freshly made rice noodle rolls, Cantonese congee, chicken feet, Southeast Asian curry rice noodles, etc. You can even mix your own fresh fruit juices. Buffet Dinner: Included in the Trip.com package. The drinks selection was extensive, with several beers, white and red wines, and even the option to mix your own cocktails. There were several types of shrimp and crab, not just one, plus grilled mini lobsters, oysters, scallops, abalone, and lamb racks. Everything I wanted was there, very satisfying. A commendable point is how quickly food was replenished; we rarely had to wait. The beach is clean and exclusive to the hotel, so it's not crowded. Besides the main pool, there's also a swim-up lane connected to the rooms, which was a joy for kids who love water. Over the three days, we switched between the beach and pool constantly, and my child didn't want to leave. If we come for a family holiday again, we'll definitely return here.
