My friend and I traveled from HK to Futian Mandarin Oriental to celebrate a birthday. I'd researched several hotels online beforehand and ultimately chose MO, a hotel I hadn't stayed at before. My main reasons were the hotel's reputation for quality and excellent service, as well as its convenient location for shopping, with a mall and many dining options right downstairs. From the moment we stepped out of the car and into the hotel, we could immediately tell it was different from other five-star establishments. The experience, from being greeted upon arrival, having our luggage promptly taken, being escorted to the 78th floor for check-in, and finally shown to our room, was incredibly smooth and warm. By the time we left, at least eight hotel staff members had interacted with us, and every single one was genuinely friendly and kind. This 100% positive interaction rate is something I've rarely encountered over the years. For me, the air conditioning's coolness and quietness, as well as absolute cleanliness and a modern feel, are paramount in a hotel room, and they scored full marks on all counts. (I learned that this hotel has only been open for four years, and I truly hope they can maintain this excellent standard, as it's crucial for guests like us). I'd like to thank the gentleman who checked us in – I've forgotten his name, but he was incredibly thoughtful and proactive in anticipating our needs, making arrangements for us to attend a concert on June 26th. I also want to thank the lovely Victor, who showed us to our room, gave us a detailed introduction to the hotel, and took photos for us. And a special thank you to Brian, the 'Chef Concierge' (Golden Key member), who satisfied our curiosity by explaining the origin and role of the Chinese Golden Key concierges. Besides having a wonderful birthday trip, we also gained a rich experience in human connection. Thank you to everyone at Futian MO. We'll definitely be staying here again! ^.^

This time, we celebrated our anniversary by staying in an Executive Room at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, and the overall experience was excellent. As soon as we got out of the car, the bellboy promptly came over to help with our luggage, and then we checked in directly at the Executive Lounge. It was very efficient, and we didn't have to wait in line at the main lobby. The hotel had thoughtfully prepared a card and a cake to celebrate our anniversary, which was a very nice touch. What left the deepest impression was the service. No matter where we were in the hotel, every staff member we encountered greeted us kindly, making us feel right at home. I'd especially like to commend Nicolo from the Executive Lounge, Oriental Club. From the moment we checked in, he was incredibly welcoming. Every time we visited the Executive Lounge, he remembered our names and always chatted with us pleasantly, with a smile on his face. His service was professional and friendly, adding many wonderful memories to our trip. Additionally, Yamy and Silvia, who handled our check-out at the Executive Lounge, proactively asked if we wanted to pack some drinks and also gave us a refrigerator magnet. The only thing that needs improvement is the late check-out policy. The front desk initially told me that it depended on availability and was generally not possible, and in the end, they could only extend it until 2 PM. Considering that hotels of a similar caliber usually offer more flexible late check-out options, I hope the hotel will actively consider extending the late check-out time.

The overall room experience was excellent. The decor was simple yet stylish, with warm tones that looked very inviting, and the lighting design created a great ambiance. The room layout was well-designed, making excellent use of the space. The bed was large, and the bedding looked clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. I also really liked the bathroom design; it was very clean and fresh. The round illuminated mirror was a nice touch, and the vanity area was bright and spotless. The wooden elements in the room, combined with the soft lighting, gave the whole place a very cozy feel, unlike the cold, sterile atmosphere you often find in typical business hotels. The cleanliness was also impressive; the room was very well maintained and spotless. The actual room was pretty much exactly as pictured, and it offered good value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

Check-in and check-out were smooth and fast. The room was modern, quiet, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to transport, restaurants, and nearby attractions. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. The Most Satisfying Hotel Stay in Guangzhou ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My recent stay at the Sino Select X Hotel (Guangzhou Beijing Road Pedestrian Street Dafosi Temple Branch) was, without a doubt, the best and most touching hotel experience I've had in Guangzhou. While the room wasn't exceptionally large, it was incredibly comfortable overall. I found the bathroom space to be particularly spacious. The hotel's cleanliness, ambiance, and facilities were all excellent, and I must especially commend the service. From the front desk staff to the housekeeping aunties, every single staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. Whenever we needed something, they went out of their way to assist us, making us, as parents traveling with a baby, feel very secure and at ease. What touched me the most during this stay was the front desk manager, [Manager's Name]. During our stay, my baby suddenly developed a fever, reaching 38.9°C. As we were tourists unfamiliar with Guangzhou, I asked the front desk about nearby hospitals. The manager informed us there was a small hospital about 300 meters away, accessible on foot. I had only asked for directions, but to my surprise, he personally accompanied us there. Upon arrival, we found the hospital was closed. I mentioned we should go to a larger hospital nearby, and he didn't just leave us; instead, he continued to accompany us in a taxi to the other hospital. He stayed with us almost every step of the way – from registration and consultation to examinations and blood tests. By the time all the tests were done and we returned to the hotel, it was nearly midnight. The doctor said the test results would take about two more hours, meaning we could get the medication around 3 AM. To our astonishment, around 2 AM, the manager personally went back to the hospital to pick up the medicine for us. He even called me and put the doctor on the phone directly to explain my baby's condition and medication instructions. Honestly, as I'm writing this, I don't even know how to describe this level of service. This went beyond what any typical hotel calls ”good service.” It was about someone truly willing to stay with us and help us navigate a difficult situation when we, as parents with a sick baby in an unfamiliar place, needed it most. As a mother, encountering such a situation abroad with a feverish baby can be incredibly helpless. So, this assistance was incredibly precious to me and will always remain in my heart. ❤️ Another service I absolutely loved was the laundry and drying service. It wasn't a self-service where you put clothes in the machine and wait. Instead, the staff took our clothes, washed and dried them, and then delivered them directly back to our room. Anyone traveling with a baby knows just how convenient and time-saving a service like this is! It truly saved us a lot of time and energy. From the environment and cleanliness to the service, this stay left me extremely satisfied, but what I'll remember most is the care and warmth extended by the hotel staff. A special thank you to the front desk manager, [Manager's Name], who helped us that day, and to all the hotel staff. Next time I visit Guangzhou, I will definitely choose to stay here again. A huge shout-out to Vanilla at the front desk of The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen Galaxy! My stay was absolutely perfect. The lobby ambiance is grand and elegant, and the location is superb. However, the most outstanding aspect was undoubtedly the professional service from the front office team. A special thank you to Front Office Director Perry and the entire front desk team: Hedy, Jimmy, Jennifer, Molly, Erin, Dannie, Koko, Sahar, Joy, Bella, and Eva. The whole team is incredibly well-trained and works seamlessly together, maintaining order even during peak check-in times. Both check-in and check-out processes were efficient and quick. The team members were consistently gentle and polite, proactively explaining hotel facilities, local transportation, and member benefits. They were prompt in responding to requests for luggage storage, coordinating room needs, and answering inquiries. Their attention to detail was exceptional, perfectly embodying the Ritz-Carlton's 'Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen' philosophy. Each team member was patient, meticulous, and handled situations with poise, resolving issues efficiently and thoughtfully. There was no cumbersome waiting at any point, and my travel fatigue instantly melted away. When I visit Futian next time, The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen Galaxy will still be my top choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

The location is super convenient, right next to Canton Tower and Zhujiang Park. For the river cruise, make sure to get there early as the lines get incredibly long. The room was spacious and the laundry facilities were a big plus. The only downside was that the elevators were a bit slow, requiring a wait no matter the time of day.

Bringing my family to Chimelong Zhuhai, we chose the Hengqin Bay Hotel and had a truly comfortable vacation. The hotel's castle-like exterior is very distinctive, and the entire resort is built by the sea, with gardens and water features complementing each other, creating a fantastic ambiance. What we loved most were the hotel's own recreational facilities; even without going to Ocean Kingdom, you can still have a fulfilling time within the hotel itself. The Dolphin Encounter was a favorite spot for the whole family. Watching the dolphins swim freely through the floor-to-ceiling glass was captivating and delightful for both adults and children. Flamingo Island is hidden within the gardens, where groups of flamingos live peacefully. The environment is serene, and a leisurely stroll to observe and take photos was very pleasant. The Water World experience was superb; the indoor heated area had a comfortable temperature, so even young children could play safely. The outdoor lazy river, wave pool, and white sand beach offered great fun. When we got tired, we could return to our room in just a few steps, saving us the hassle of traveling back and forth. Transportation to Ocean Kingdom was thoughtfully arranged, with frequent free shuttle buses providing direct service to the park in a short amount of time. The hotel pier also offers an exclusive yacht service (for a fee) for water entry to the park, with beautiful scenery along the way, making it a unique experience. The room we stayed in was spacious, warmly decorated, and spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedding and a wide-open view from the balcony. The hotel amenities are comprehensive, with various restaurants catering to different tastes and a rich selection for breakfast. The staff provided attentive and appropriate service; check-in was smooth, and any issues we raised were addressed promptly. Here, you can freely adjust your pace, balancing park visits with hotel relaxation, without feeling rushed. The overall living experience was truly impressive.

I was very satisfied with my stay this time! The hotel is beautiful, with distinctive Lingnan decor. The lobby faces the sea directly, and you can see Sun and Moon Bay right outside. The photography studio, Xiaowan Travel Photography, was very professional and took great pictures. Our butler, Sini, added us on WeChat during check-in and provided excellent service throughout our stay. She helped us book restaurants, arranged room cleaning, and breakfast. She's a fantastic butler! I will definitely come back to stay with my family on our next vacation!
