Apartments in Grand Est, France

The location is excellent, with the B tram stop right outside. A walk along the Ill River from the hotel to Petite France offers fantastic views. The hotel facilities are also very complete, and a supermarket is about 100 meters away.

The apartment is close to the train station, about a 10-minute walk away. It's also very convenient for scenic spots, supermarkets, and shopping, with all attractions reachable within a 20-minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants and great food options nearby.

One of the strangest hotel I stayed. I've visited 21 European Country so far, but this hotel was quite different from the previous ones. Firstly, the check-in process was annoying. The woman in the reception told us that we would not be able to have the key of the apartment before 3 pm, which had been officially anounced. That was understandable. However, the woman at the reception could have been more polite. Furthermore, they asked us to fill out a form although she had already asked our personal information. There was no air conditioning at the reception desk but we had to spend time over there despite the extremely hot weather. After 3 pm, more than 10 people were waiting in front of the desk in order to collect the key of the apartments (havasız küçücük bir alanda)... Finally, it was our turn, they told us that we had to pay a deposit for 50€ (if we break anything in the apartment) and they told us this can happen. Ok, maybe it happened before but although I stayed in apartments more than 8-10 times (in different European countries), I've never encountered a policy like this. Apparently, they came up with a ”genius” policy that no other apartment I have stayed in across Europe has ever had. As a bonus, there is a sign inside the room: ”if you forget to clean the kitchen, we charge you with 15€”... Also, inside the room, there was no enough rack to put our luggages on.. Even if the room was clean, and the location was good enough, this apartment/hotel will be a place I never want to stay again...

The location is the main catch - 7 mins drive to the airport and 1 min walk to the France/Swiss border. Bus stop is right in front of the property and the tram stop is just 4 mins away.The apartment is ok, just basic. The property is a bit old but well maintained but can use some renovations especially the carpet. I perceived a funny smell as I stepped into the room (I think it's from the carpet). The service is fantastic, the staff attends to you with smiles always. There's a private swimming pool . There's a kitchenette in the room with some essentials(fridge, kettle , pots, plates, microwave, cutlery , induction and co)though I didn't get to use them. The room is spacious but the shower room is small.The cleaning can be done better - found some hair strands on the floor, dust/stains on the chair and the barrier at the back door/balcony. I like that the main door is always locked and you are given a code to unlock it from outside, feels safe. There's someone at the front desk 24 Hours. There is a restaurant directly opposite the property, I had dinner there on my first night, not bad and the price is reasonable. More cafes, shops and restaurants down the street about 3/4 minutes walk. The Lady at the front desk assisted me to order a taxi to the airport. New hand towel and sponge in the kitchenette Overall, not bad and it's reasonably priced.

The hotel is located a little outside the city center, next to the ring road. There is a parking area in front. ***It is a clean and comfortable hotel.

The aparthotel is situated very close to Strasbourg main train station. You can also easily walk to the old town district from the aparthotel in less than 10 minutes. Nice things: - Water dispenser in the lobby to fill up your water bottle. - Heat radiator in toilet, keeps you warm when you step out of the shower. Thing to call out: - The curtains for the room dont fit the window, because our windows were slanted, the curtains couldn't fully black out the window. When inspecting the curtain lines and the curtain itself, you can tell 100% that the wrong curtain is used for the curtain lines because it wont fully use up the curtain lines when the curtains are drawn. - The shower curtains are too long/loose for the showers in the bath room, when showering you can almost feel the shower curtains touching you all the time. I hope the shower curtains are actually clean; otherwise it'd be pretty disgusting to have them in contact with my skin. - The air conditioning is not adjustable.  - Water kettle is oily, makes boiled water look disgusting. Likely due to misuse by a previous guest. - Laundry is not free, requires 4/5 EUR per wash. - Requesting for towels/exchanging towels also cost money.

no electric kettle or hair dryer. check in and front desk are only available from 5-8pm which may mean you have to schedule around it. luggage storage is not available after 8pm. no air conditioning in the room, and the outside noise is loud if you open the window (but the room provides a fan which i unfortunately did not see until the next morning). the location is a bit inconvenient, about 20mins from the city centre. at the very least, the service is warm and welcoming, but overall i would not book this place again.

Overall, everything was great, except for a few issues on the first day: the shower had terrible water pressure, the kitchen extractor fan wasn't working, and some kitchen utensils were missing. Otherwise, the location was good, the room had a pleasant terrace, and it was easy to bring luggage up from the parking.

Do note that this is a serviced apartment, located about a 10 to 15 minute walk in a straight line from Gare de Colmar, depending on your pace. The accommodation is very clean and quiet. The room is well-equipped with a mini kitchen, fridge, and microwave, and it even has a balcony with a table and chairs, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The only downside was the kettle, which wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. When I boiled water twice, it turned cloudy, so I eventually bought bottled water instead. The bathroom was spotless, and bath soap was provided. However, if you prefer liquid shampoo and body wash, I recommend bringing your own. You can also enjoy a lovely backyard, ideal for sitting outside under the sun or stars. There’s even a swimming pool, though I didn’t use it since I hadn’t packed swimwear. Overall, I had a wonderful and comfortable stay here. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and convenient place with everything you need for daily comfort.

Nicely located best the train station and with the city center 10 minutes by foot. The hotel itself could use some renovation, it seemed old but okay for a short stay. As for the room, at first I was offered a wheelchair room, which had small windows, twin beds, was not cozy at all, and also lacked shower chair. So I asked to be provided with a superior studio that I initially booked :) The room was spacious, with double bed, mini kitchen, washing machine, fridge, dishes and some kitchen utensils. It was enough for a short stay. The one thing that surprised me was that toilet and bathroom were separated in different corners of the apartment: toilet at the entrance door, and bathroom next to the bed, so you need to turn around three corners to wash your hands 🤪 But the staff was helpful and overall I was satisfied with my stay.
