The homestay is on the hill in the center of Oamaru, overlooking the entire town and the Pacific Ocean in the distance. Unfortunately, the day we stayed was cloudy and we couldn't see the sunrise. 10 minutes drive from the Penguin Center. The cooking facilities in the house are particularly complete. At first glance, it is prepared for the Chinese. Not only have seasonings, but also rice cookers. This is not available in other hotels. If you prepare a large spoon, it will be 100 points.

Perfect accommodation for couples. Cost and romantic. Accommodation is well maintained and spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful. 5” drive to Lanarch castle. Free admission to the castle for Camp Estate customers. If possible book Room3 which has a fantastic view of Dunedin. Plenty of cosy areas in the cottage for lounging an relaxing. Only problem is it’s isolated and hence meals may be an issue. You also need your own transport to get there . One small issue during the stay was the room fireplace doesn’t work despite best efforts of the staff to rectify it. Highly recommended.

Hotel location is convenient, in the city center, shopping is convenient, and not far from the attractions, and the hotel service is very good, the virtual front desk instructions are clear, the hotel can park in front of the hotel, very convenient, will definitely stay again next time.
