MMelisa Chong Shu FenThe hotel was lovely and we hardly went out. The room was large and very comfortable. Service was great. Food was delicious. We enjoyed the breakfasts and we really enjoyed having in room dining as an option at no extra cost.
The room faces the pool and the restaurant so you do need to keep the curtains closed if you want privacy.
The hotel is walking distance (for fit people) to Pantai Cenang. However, there were a few times we needed to take Grab instead. Give yourself a bit of time to secure a Grab driverbecause they take a while to agree to come to the hotel.

GGuest UserWe regretted only booking two nights; the place turned out to be fantastic, beyond all expectations. It's surrounded by nature, jungle, and monkeys running around, but they're not insolent – they don't take your food (the main thing is to bring your breakfast home on time), so you can watch them. 🙂
This isn't a luxury villa, and yes, there are a few minor flaws, but it's so atmospheric, and the warmth they offer to their guests is incredible. Airport transfers are provided, and breakfast is delivered every 8am. Housekeeping was also provided. Incidentally, the internet worked better than in a hotel in the city center.
Regarding the remote location, Langkawi is generally difficult to get around without a rental car or a taxi, so we didn't see it as a problem. We'll definitely return if we get to Langkawi again.

CChun Wei TangThe weather is refreshing, though it can still feel hot under the afternoon sun. There’s usually a light breeze, and the night time is fantastic with cool wind. The view is great and the whole place feels relaxing, with well-maintained greenery.
Activities are decent—there’s a playground for kids (RM20 for kids, RM10 for adults), a dinosaur park, and a glass floor viewing deck (RM5 per person). There are also other activities like archery and paintball, although we didn’t try them.
The room is a bit outdated and in need for a renovation. There was some smell in the toilet, but overall still acceptable if you’re not too picky. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view is definitely a highlight.
Breakfast was quite limited and average in taste—not really comparable to other 4-star hotels, but still okay.
In short, not a luxury 5-star resort, but more like a hidden gem for a short weekend escape—especially nice for families to come up, enjoy the weather and the view, definitely worth a try if you never been to Jerai Hill before!

AAndrewwwenOur family of four spent a perfect 5-day New Year holiday at Villa Moo Moo.
1. We contacted the host, Azuan, in advance to let him know our check-in time. We just needed to find the location using Google Maps.
2. The location is in a village, about 200 meters from a side road. It's not particularly remote. We rented a car, so getting around was very convenient.
3. The villa has a pool table, karaoke, projector, swimming pool, washing machine, dryer, board games, volleyball, rice cooker, frying pan, cutlery, spoons, condiments, etc., more than enough for cooking (we used the rice cooker for hot pot on New Year's Eve).
4. The swimming pool water is constantly circulated, ensuring hygiene. There are plenty of towels; if you need to change them, just tell Azuan, and he'll get you new ones.
5. Regarding safety, since the host owns 10,000 square meters of land, there's no fence around the pool, so there are no safety issues. The host lives next door.
6. Every morning we woke up to fields and cows, and sunrises and sunsets. This is much better than many beachfront hotels! Thank you again to host Azuan for his attentive care.

GGuest UserFantastic villa with prompt services provided. My family of 4 (inclusive of 2 kids under 7yo) thoroughly enjoyed the amenities provided within the house. Full kitchen facilities, private pool, toiletries, complimentary drinks and pods (refillable)..It's situated near enough to Pantai Cenang, but not as touristy/bustling. If you don't drive, grab cars are easily available and affordable. Very highly recommended!!

EEllyrafiqa HashimPerfect place to enjoy a little quiet time or rambunctious gathering of friends or family. Tempe villa faces the paddy field, I enjoyed gawking at the buffaloes grazing and still feel safe inside the compound. The gardens are so well manicured and lush, rooms are clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped with stove, oven, fridge if you feel the urge to cook, they even have bottles of seasonings at the ready. Loved the rain shower and the spacious bathroom, although a little disappointed there was no bathtub. Master bedroom was a bit hot as the air conditioning was not directly facing the bed and blocked by the wardrobe. Price is a bit steep considering there’s no communal facilities, no F&B outlet or pool, as other villas except for this one have their own private pool. It would be great if there was an outdoor ceiling or standing fan for the terrace too, as it can get quite humid when there’s no wind. All in all, a very beautiful estate run by very friendly staff made it a very memorable stay.

MMariia_GolThank you, we really enjoyed it. It's cozy and clean. The girl at reception is great. She helped us book tickets to Koh Lipe and the suspension bridge. The beach is a 5-minute walk across the road, with a cafe and a shop on the way. The grocery store is a short 5-minute walk away.
