The landlords ( husband & wife) are very friendly, helpful, nice & accommodating. The wife Ms Shujie Guo waited for us patiently to arrive at the air bnb before returning to their own home which is a short distance away. (NB: we did not get the message or e-mail for the main door number access code & she know that it has happened before. So she took the initiative to wait for us which we arrived at night at about 9 pm on that day). This air bnb house provided full cooking facilities including the ingredients & spices. The common area are very clean & tidy. The bedroom & bathroom are equally clean & tidy. There is a garden at the back of the house which is beautifully layout. The landlord lady Ms Jhujie Guo even went to the extent to alert my wife that there were northern lights & informed us to go to the open space to see. With our iPhone 14 pro max handphone, we managed to see the beautiful northern lights ( aurora). Unfortunately we were unable to capture the dancing lights as we do not have the camera stand. This is a bonus as we did not expect to see Northern lights in Calgary! We felt like we were living at our own home.
We would highly recommend those who are looking for accommodation in Calgary to stay at Brothers Li Homestay.
Very good, slightly far from Banff, but the price is much cheaper. The kitchen and washing machine are all there, the staff is very friendly and teaches you how to use the washing machine.
I don't typically stay in hostels, but this was a great find! Very clean property, quiet, and peaceful. It is about a 30min drive to the downtown area and no shops within walking distance so you'll need to drive or get an Uber.
Other, great room (I stayed in the cozy room), very cleab, bed is big and comfortable. Free towels and bath amenities. The kitchen has a decent amount of cookware. There is a living room and a room with a fireplace so lots of space to lounge around.
Staff are also kind and quick to respond, just give them a text or call. Good pricing and easy check-in process. Will definitely book again!
It was really great. Everything was fully equipped. But why do you advertise it as if there is nothing there? I had no choice but to book this place because there were no other rooms available, but everything was there, so I had a good rest. The host is kind and responds quickly. Thank you.
We had an incredible stay at Tunnel Mountain Resort in Banff. From the moment we checked in, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our experience memorable. The property itself feels tucked away in the trees, offering peace and quiet while still being just a few minutes from downtown Banff.
The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a rustic mountain vibe that fit perfectly with the surroundings. I especially loved the fireplace—it made evenings feel warm and relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchenette was well-equipped, which was a nice bonus for preparing meals.
The views from the resort are stunning. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and seeing the Rockies right outside my window was unforgettable. On-site amenities like the hot tub and pool added to the experience, especially after long hikes.
What stood out most was the balance between comfort and nature. It felt like having a private cabin in the mountains but with all the convenience of a resort.
I’d highly recommend Tunnel Mountain Resort for couples, families, or anyone wanting a true Banff escape. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, comfort, and breathtaking scenery—I’m already looking forward to coming back!
Very clean room with comfortable king bed with a rustic wood bed frame, fireplace and jacuzzi tub, bathroom had newer shower/tub with good water pressure, sink area could use an update. No A/C but room was cool enough with overhead fan and open window at night; room had 2 additional fans that we did not need to use. Nicely decorated with lots of lamps. Coffee and tea service in room (with actual tea cups/teapot and tea cookies!), as well as microwave and bar fridge. Location convenient for walking anywhere in town, ample parking right in front of lodge and also available across the street at Kilmorey Lodge. No restaurant onsite but close to many dining options, 10% off coupon for breakfast at Kilmorey Lodge, but breakfast was underwhelming. Exterior could use updating, deck area and steps in rough shape, fortunately our room was cozy and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Everything was excellent, especially we enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna. Only thing we are disappointed is there was no microwave to warm food. If not, it was perfect to my family trip.
I had two beds so I liked to stay with a friend
There was a convenience store in the neighborhood, so it was okay to buy something in a hurry.
It seems that it took 20 minutes to walk to downtown and you can take a bus! I just heard the sound of walking upstairs and talking.
But it was okay because it wasn't bad.
It was a little hot to sleep with all the windows closed when I was sleeping on the first floor.
Everything was fine and good except that

GGuest UserWe had a great stay! The staff were incredibly nice and always made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect—within walking distance of Lake Louise, which saved us from paying for expensive parking. It’s also close to stunning trails, yet quiet and peaceful. Plus, it’s conveniently near a grocery store, restaurants, and a café. I would definitely recommend this place!

WWoralakThe hotel has a great location, only 15 minutes from Banff. It feels more like a cozy house than a typical hotel, with plenty of amenities provided. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a comfortable place to stay while exploring the area.
GGuest UserThis place is truly pleasant and easily ranks among the top 3 accommodations in this price range! Even though I arrived earlier than check-in time, the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They provided a common area, like a living room, and a space to store luggage, which allowed me to comfortably spend extra time exploring downtown. The place was exceptionally clean, and almost all essential amenities were provided, making for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!!
