Although not in the center of the town, the location is also very convenient, parking is convenient, the room should be newly renovated, and it is very large and practical. There is also the possibility of encountering elk entering the store, which is very good.
Staff very friendly. But, the simple amenities were lacking. Coffee pot broke, no coffee in room, no hand soap, toilet paper had 2 1/4 rolls only. 2 towels no floor towel. And the bathtub had peeling paint on the bottom where they tried to patch. The elevator was out of service. I did speak to front desk was told they were out of coffee and hand soap. I was given a bottle body soap and I could get coffee in the lobby. The breakfast attendant did not change her gloves from wiping tables and handling food. Food was not a big choice. I was given points on my membership that I didn’t know I had for my disappointing stay. We have stayed here in the past and it was fine.
There’s not a lot (if any) of nice options in Grand Junction, but I stayed at super 8 the night before, and it was a complete mess. I was hoping for a better experience here, which I did get. But I was still unimpressed with the outdated furniture and bathroom, my ice bucket had the old bag of ice from the previous guest with water still in it. The front desk crew was super nice, so I appreciate that. I feel like at the price point, every room should have a refrigerator, luckily they were able to store my cold food downstairs in the community refrigerator. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I feel like Doubletree should do better even in a place like Grand Junction.
The hotel is good but sometimes the room cleaning is a bit slow and it is not completed until 4:30 pm. There is a customer laundry provided, which is very helpful for long-term business trips.
This is a beautiful historic property, with a fantastic team providing impeccable service to guests!
The property is located very conveniently, close to the hot springs and walking distance to downtown. The lobby and the Courtyard ares beautiful.
We had a bit of an issue getting the hang of operating the ceiling fan and the room heating system, and the team's response to get us updated was super quick.
Overall, a great experience.
Acceptable facility and the cooked breakfast was a nice touch. However, the location far out of town was disappointing and the place was VERY overpriced for what and where it was.
Room was high quality and clean. Service was good. Challenges were very spotty wifi and soap and shampoo dispensers that would not work.

Very Good
Its a great hotel to stay when you are having a long lay-over in Denver. Very spacious rooms, comfy bed,Starbucks coffee provided. Really superb and worth the price. Though its quite on the higher price, still the best and relaxing sleep and stay is at its finest. Will stay here again soon.
Great experience in a beautiful historic hotel. Across the road from the mineral springs and walking distance to restaurant precinct. Only thing to make our stay better would be to include bottled water with our room.
The hotel has an immaculate lobby and friendly staff. The room was clean with typical amenities expected. They have a very large fitness facility with a good selection of equipment. There is no pool or free breakfast, but this hotel met everything I needed. I was very pleased.
This hotel may require some renovation, however considering the fact that is used a lot during winter it's still kept in quite good condition. It's big, and there's a variety of amenities that can be used still in summer time: arcades, hot tubs, swimming pool. Everything is working. The staff consist of students who are working there temporarily, and it's a benefit because they are doing their job well, and it is so nice communicating with them from all around the world. Fully recommended experience

GGuest UserWe love Brown Palace and have been there before. We had difficulty getting them to return our calls when we were trying to make reservations for dinner there. Our air conditioning would not turn off and we didn’t hear back from them when we alerted them to the problem. For the price we were paying, we expected better service. It is still a wonderful historic place to spend time.
Little bit old facilities and under renovation works. But best location and spacious rooms. Comfortable bed conditions. Recommend to stay for family travel.
