"The Occidental Hotel Medina is a gem of a hotel. We needed lodging on short notice, and they absolutely delivered!
Our room was large and airy, with a balcony on a quiet courtyard. The bed, bath, linens were great. The restaurant is good and reasonably priced. Get the octopus.
But the star of the show is the staff. In particular, Meryem is the best! She knew everything we needed to make our two weeks totally enjoyable. We are experienced travelers, and we truly appreciate her efforts.
In short, a great hotel at an amazing price. Go!"

"The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I would have appreciated having slippers, a toothbrush, and a hairbrush provided in the room, but aside from that, everything was excellent.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. What stood out to me most was that they treated both local and international guests with the same level of kindness and respect, which I really appreciated. The only exception was the service at the rooftop café, where one of the servers was less welcoming. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily stay here again."

Guest UserThis hotel and the Royal Mansour are in the same area. I spent a long time searching on the map for a place with a view of the Hassan II Mosque, similar to the Royal Mansour. I finally found this hotel's high-floor room with a mosque and sea view, and it's pretty close.

Guest UserVery close to the airport. The room had a comfortable bed, but the pillows were huge and uncomfortable. There was a kettle, tea, and instant coffee in the room. The staff were very polite and friendly. Check-in took a bit long, about 20 minutes. We went for a swim in the pool; everyone saw us heading there and just smiled, not saying anything. But once we were in the water, they told us we couldn't swim. Maybe there were chemicals? We didn't understand. We went straight back to our room to shower. The water was hot with good pressure, and the bathtub was comfortable. The view was nice. There's a shuttle every half hour. The restaurant had regular prices, and the dish was beautifully presented, though the taste was debatable.

Guest UserWe didn’t have a good stay at the Novotel in Mohammedia, there was no hot water on arrival and there was obviously a hotel wide issue, but the reception said they’d sent someone up and we needed to run the taps for 10 minutes! Well that didn’t work and there was no hot water in the morning either, even they promised it would be back by the morning, so freezing cold shower. No remote control for the TV, the blackout blinds had tears and holes in them (see photo), the carpets were tired and marked (photo) and the windows were absolutely filthy (photo). This was billed as a “superior room with park view” - you could see the park with the window open, but with it closed the dirt pretty much obscured it. We booked a massage but cancelled as how can you have a massage without a shower? The breakfast was very average. The staff were fine, they are up against it with this building, but they constantly asked us to give them reviews by name. The pool is tiny, the bar was quite lively and again nice staff. For a modern Novotel this was a pretty bad experience.

The hotel has been around for a while, and some of the facilities are a bit outdated. However, it's very close to the old town, making it super convenient for shopping both in front of and behind the hotel. The swimming pool is fantastic, and the breakfast is incredibly rich and varied.

Guest UserI booked a twin room with a city view, and when I checked in, I asked the front desk for a room with a better view. To my delight, I was upgraded to a sea view room! From the room, I could see the Hassan II Mosque and the ocean, which was a fantastic view. However, there were some issues with the facilities. The shower drain was severely clogged, and there was only one bathrobe in a double room, and only one mouthwash cup in the bathroom. Since I was only staying for one night, I didn't bother to complain. It felt like the hotel's hygiene and service weren't up to standard. I hope my review helps them improve their service quality.

YUIf you like niche travel, if you want to slow down your life. Come to Morocco, come to Oualidia, come to this hotel. Facing the sea, forgetting to worry together. The staff is also very welcoming and can also have a sauna and massage. The people here are very simple and the seafood is very cheap.

The hotel has a great location, within walking distance to everything. The furniture and decor are a bit dated. Overall, the interior is interesting, with a Moroccan style. Breakfasts are hearty, and the omelet is delicious. The front desk staff are responsive, and you can leave your luggage after check-out.

The whole breakfast arrangement here was hopeless.The breakfast room was not set up, there was little food, It was of poor quailty, The few staff that were there were all focus on empty VIP room not for normal guests.Simple request were met with curt responses. No cleaning table, No forks, No Tissue, The binding tape is still on the rock melon skin. Wait a half hour to get juice. Only 4 table less 10 people at that time. The wall mounted AC controls do nothing and the instructions on the panel dont help. The real AC control panel is near the ceiling! The hotel was a 5 min walk to corniche and Mosque.
