It’s a destination resort you should really plan for it however from the moment you have met the driver from Setsu at the Kutchan station and everything is beyond your expectations and impeccable service. Love the private Onsen experience yet the public Onsen is also not so busy at this time.  However I will definitely go visit and stay again during the winter time.  Two three four or more thumbs up 👍

Facilities: The room is quite spacious for Japan, split over two floors. It's very new, though going downstairs to use the toilet is a bit inconvenient. As a ski hotel, it's already quite good. Breakfast was packed; if you wanted a window seat, you had to be there right when it opened or just get lucky. Eating breakfast between 8 and 9 AM meant queuing for a table, and even when there were clearly window seats available, they made me sit elsewhere. I saw that they wouldn't let me switch, which was quite frustrating. The onsen (hot spring) felt a bit dirty; compared to many other Japanese onsens, there were too many floating particles.

A really great hotel. Before arrival, the hotel contacted us through Trip.com's international customer service to confirm our check-in time, transfer requirements, and any dietary restrictions or allergies. All arrangements were made in advance. Check-in was very smooth, and communication in English was flawless. The hotel's decor was wonderfully atmospheric. The private onsen in the room was incredibly convenient and enjoyable, with the option to use the public bath as well.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect — just a 2-minute walk to the Hirafu Welcome Centre, making it extremely convenient, especially for catching the direct bus from the airport. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, giving us a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, helpful, and made everything very smooth for us. The room was super clean, well-maintained, and came with a washing machine, which was incredibly convenient for our trip. What impressed us the most was their pick-up and drop-off service to the Hirafu Welcome Centre. It made our arrival and departure completely hassle-free. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hirafu!

Niseko in summer has its own distinct advantages. It's less crowded, the air is fresh and cool, and hotel rates are significantly lower. The hotel's decor is tasteful and understated, reminiscent of a city Ritz-Carlton. With fewer rooms, the service is remarkably attentive. Breakfast is a hybrid of a set menu and a small buffet spread, which was quite satisfying. We found the dinner restaurant to have a somewhat limited kitchen and offer average value for money, so we chose to dine out for our evening meals. The location is wonderfully quiet. While we had a private car, even without one, the Hilton is just across the ski slope, so transport isn't an issue. A short walk of a few minutes takes you to a ski commercial area, where a few restaurants remain open even in summer. I imagine it's quite expensive in winter, but I do wonder if Niseko's skiing truly surpasses Hemu's? A major perk, of course, is that the hotel essentially has its own dedicated ski lift, offering absolute ski-in/ski-out convenience. It's significantly smaller, quieter, and much less crowded than the Park Hyatt. However, I highly recommend taking the gondola up there at night and then walking down to experience the beautifully designed light exhibition – it's truly stunning.

It had been two years since my last visit, and I was once again delighted to return and stay at this wonderful hotel. The privacy remains just as excellent as I remembered. All the staff, regardless of age, are incredibly warm, courteous, and attentive, remembering every little detail you request. The Okami (female manager) is still elegant and gracious, truly the gold standard for Japanese onsen hotels in my opinion. On the first night, we upgraded to the Teppanyaki course, which absolutely exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend that fellow guests planning a stay book this set menu in advance via email (an additional ¥24,000 for two people). Chef Hoshizawa was delightful, making for a particularly pleasant dining experience with great conversation throughout the meal.

Everything is good, the food is very exquisite, the sense of ceremony is full, but the food is exquisite, the actual taste and ingredients are ordinary, no merit or fault. The overall experience is affirmed. Before booking, I saw in the comment area that the charge for bringing children is no more than 1,000 yuan per person. When I settled the bill, I was shocked to see the price. One child added almost 4,000 yuan per night. We brought two children and added 8,000 yuan per night, which is equivalent to one night's room rate. I especially want to know if the hotel has always charged this way? We stayed for two nights and added almost 16,000 yuan. The room type we booked on Ctrip did not include dinner. It was simply a big sucker. Just a reference for the Chinese compatriots behind, you don’t have to stay, you can stay. The hotel is OK in all aspects, the public area is pretty, the room is large but lacks design. It’s more homely! But there are few facilities, it’s not suitable for parents and children, and the price discourages parents and children. I stayed in Park Hyatt in Kyoto, Japan, a very good hotel. The children were only charged for breakfast. The cost of the children in the Azuki Seat is too exaggerated. In addition, the Shikotsu Lake next to the hotel is quite beautiful, but the transportation here is really inconvenient. The hotel has a pick-up at Chitose Airport, but it is only at 16:45 in the afternoon, so it is really difficult to connect. We took a taxi because there were few cars at night, and the taxi cost about 500 RMB. A taxi from the hotel to Sapporo JR is about 1000 RMB. Because there is too little information to refer to when booking, I posted the information I originally wanted to know for your reference.

1. You don't have to leave the airport; there's a direct walkway to the hotel. It's close to the international arrivals, but it took us 15 minutes to walk from the domestic arrivals. 2. The lady at the front desk spoke Chinese and gave us a detailed introduction, even escorting us to the elevator. 3. The hotel provided adorable children's toiletries and disposable slippers. Both adult and child disposable slippers were fabric flip-flops. If you don't like them, you can ask the hotel for regular slippers. 4. We didn't get a chance to experience the large public bath (onsen), which is located on the 4th-floor lobby level and is open from 3:00 PM to 10:00 AM. 5. The room was super spacious and clean. You can push the two beds together, and the bathtub is big enough for two adults to bathe comfortably. 6. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the service was excellent. Don't miss out! It's open from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

This was the most anticipated part of our entire trip, and it certainly didn't disappoint! #Hotel Location: Excellent. It's right on the hot spring street, and behind it is the pier for lake boat tours (Happy Boardwalk). #Hotel Service: They upgraded us to a large suite for free, and the view was absolutely fantastic. I loved the suite's layout, amenities, and the smart toilet. The outdoor hot spring faces the lake, and the male and female baths rotate at different times, so you can try them all (っ˘ڡ˘ς)♨️ The buffet was also good, and we additionally ordered a red king crab which was delicious. You can book many activities and experiences at the hotel. There's an outdoor shop called Siri on the first floor of the hotel where you can book activities like hiking and lake tours. My friend and I booked the night forest light show at the front desk. The only thing worth complaining about is how ugly the hot spring robes are – absolutely no desire to take photos in them!

MMaer83This is a brand new hotel, perfectly situated with Nakajima Park and the Toyohira River right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. Both the facilities and service are fully up to Marriott's usual high standards, leaving no room for complaint. Our children particularly adored the sweet ********* lady at the front desk. My only minor gripe is the hotel lobby; it's quite small and feels crowded with just 3-5 groups of guests, which doesn't quite match the caliber of the hotel.

YYi ShieanFrom the moment we arrived at Mizu no Uta, Tsuruga Resort at Lake Shikotsu, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. Valet parking greeted us, and we were swiftly escorted to a path lined with zen music, setting the tone for a stay where every detail exudes serenity. Upon entering the reception, a majestic wooden carving of an owl, a powerful symbol of protection in Ainu culture, watched over us. In a delightful and intimate touch, we were asked to remove our shoes – a gesture that immediately made the resort feel like a sanctuary. Walking barefoot on soft wooden floors in such a refined environment felt like the ultimate indulgence. Live harp music floated through the air as we were led past a live fireplace, its warm flames inviting guests to roast marshmallows, adding a whimsical, yet homely feel to the elegant surroundings. The staff, attentive yet discreet, escorted us to our room via separate lifts, ensuring our luggage was seamlessly handled. Entering the room, we were struck by its sheer spaciousness. A half-sized fridge, thoughtfully included, perfectly stored all our chilled treats from the road trip. But the true star was the view: an uninterrupted panorama of lush greenery, stretching out to meet the serene waters of Lake Shikotsu. The combination of the stunning scenery and the luxurious in-room robe made us feel like chaebols, lounging in opulence and shielded from the cool lakeside breeze. As for the dining, the buffet at Mizu no Uta is nothing short of spectacular. Where many buffets struggle to balance quantity and quality, this resort excels at both. Highlights included a live dessert station and a live pizza-making corner, where thin-crust pizzas, surprisingly better than those from Furano’s famed Cheese Factory, were expertly prepared. The spread also featured an incredible assortment of sashimi – the freshest I encountered during my 1.5-week trip across various hotels. The salmon and mackerel, both raw and uniquely marinated in glass jars, were exceptional. The hot dishes maintained the same elevated standard. A simple tomato-based clam spaghetti was transformed by the quality of ingredients, while even the sautéed kailan was enhanced with the addition of Parma ham. Local produce, such as the fresh broccoli used in the cream-based dishes, lent an unmistakable brightness to each bite. The combination of Japanese and Western cuisine was balanced beautifully, with every plate delivering a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship. Of course, no stay at a lakeside resort would be complete without a visit to the onsen bath. While slightly smaller than the one at Lake Akan, the onsen here is far superior in cleanliness and upkeep. Conveniently, the bath is stocked with towels, so there’s no need to carry your own from the room. The experience is further enhanced by a sauna illuminated with soothing blue light, adding a layer of tranquility to the ritual. The open-air onsen is another highlight. For those who appreciate the purity of nature, the bath even features drinkable Lake Shikotsu water, renowned as one of Japan’s top 100 spring waters. This thoughtful touch, coupled with the stunning views, creates an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and luxurious.

LLonitaHoI chose this hotel in Lake Toya specifically to enjoy the views from a high vantage point. On the way back, I planned to explore the Onsen Bus Center, essentially experiencing two different sides of Lake Toya. **Facilities**: The hotel is a bit old, having been open for some time. Besides a few Michelin-starred restaurants, there's nothing else to eat on the mountain, so remember to bring some snacks. In winter, there's snowmobiling, and I imagine a ride around the hotel would be a lot of fun, but it wasn't open during my late November visit. I hope to try it next time! **Service**: From the moment the shuttle bus driver met me at JR holding a sign, to the private transfer to the mountain hotel, and the warm welcome drinks from the attendant, everything was excellent. I also booked the Michelin-starred sushi, and the service there was absolutely superb (just as rumored, though the front desk staff's coldness did detract from the overall service). **Onsen**: The hot springs were actually quite ordinary. They switch between male and female baths daily, and one time I got to experience the outdoor onsen (which wasn't particularly special either). However, the toiletries were L'Occitane (while the in-room ones were Blagvia), and I really loved the scent! The staff member I encountered also enthusiastically shared their own photos and videos of Mount Yotei and the sunrise, which were fantastic!

JJanice Lim Mee LanThe hotel has a very immersive experience especially for families with young children. It is themed like the Asahiyama zoo. They also provide free shuttle bus service to the Asahiyama zoo. They have a public bath. Although I did not get to use the facilities, the hotel guests seemed to really enjoy it. It is located near the shopping street and walking distance to the Asahikawa Station. Behind the Asahikawa Station is a beautiful park and you can have lots of instagrammable photos taken there.

CCoWg0eSm0o1) Japanese room is old but thankfully no funny smoke odour etc. decent sized and good for 2 large luggage - they will come and prepare your futon at around 5-530pm. 2) water park is good for kids, with 2 fun slides and some kiddo water slide. The indoor wave pool is big and there’s float and swimwear rental available too (unlike Rusutsu which doesn’t have such options). 3) Dinner was meh - wide selection but taste was alright. The dining buffet area is quite smoky though from the cooking and is quite a turnoff. 4) arcade at B1 is good for entertainment. 5) onsen is awesome. If timed right, you can watch fireworks from the onsen - it has a large sliding glass panel which is open during non-winter period. 6) daily fireworks - awesome
