"We stayed in a 'Premium' suite. The concept of the complex is good, and the room itself is spacious. Pros: There's a swimming pool, grocery stores on-site, and a cafe. However, there are many downsides: the room lacks adequate lighting in the evening, the threshold in the bathroom is broken, causing water to leak from the shower with no drain to catch it. The showerhead sprays everywhere. The furniture feels flimsy, clearly an attempt to cut corners. Housekeeping is very mediocre. There's absolutely no soundproofing. Overall, if they improve the service, get a maintenance crew in, and fix some of these 'flaws,' it could be good. It definitely doesn't live up to being a 'Premium' suite."

SSaumyaleo31We stayed at Sheraton Batumi Hotel expecting the standard of a global 5-star luxury chain. Unfortunately, while the location is beautiful, the overall experience fell far below expectations. The property’s location, right in front of the beach, is stunning. The views are lovely and the building itself looks impressive. Sadly, the service and operational quality did not match the pricing or brand promise. Here were the key concerns: 1. Language & Service Gaps For a luxury, premium-priced international hotel, it was surprising that several staff members struggled to understand basic English. This made even simple requests unnecessarily complicated. 2. Inedible Food on Day 1 On the day we checked in, we ordered a ciabatta pesto sandwich. The ciabatta was so hard it was impossible to chew. It literally sounded like knocking on wood. We had to remove and eat only the filling. This is basic food quality control that should not fail in a 5-star property. 3. Repeated WiFi Failures Within an hour of check-in, the WiFi stopped working. I had official calls to attend, yet even after 2–3 hours, the issue wasn’t resolved. The next day, the WiFi again went down for 2–3 hours. In a hospitality business today, reliable internet is non-negotiable. There also seemed to be no backup plan or proactive communication. 4. Shower Head Burst - No QC? The following morning, the shower head burst while in use, flooding the bathroom. My belongings got wet and it completely disrupted the morning. When a room is marked “ready,” basic quality checks should ensure fixtures are functional. 5. Breakfast Quality Below Standard The breakfast buffet was largely cold. Vegetarian options were extremely limited. Even the falafel was undercooked. The omelette was overly oily. At the very least, for a globally known chain, one Indian option or more diverse vegetarian choices would have been appreciated. 6. Room Service Delays Ordering water to the room took nearly an hour and required four calls. That level of delay for something so basic is difficult to justify. Overall, while the location is excellent, the service standards, food quality, maintenance checks, and responsiveness did not align with what one expects from a Sheraton property. For the price paid, this was not a luxury experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on operational consistency, staff training, and basic quality control.

ЮЮлия ZubkovaWe chose this apartment because we needed a two-bedroom option. The renovation is dated, the room was dirty, the bathroom wasn't cleaned at all (hair on the floor, toothpaste caps), and there was no water. Parking and the pool are paid separately. The location isn't ideal either; we thought it was close to the sea, but it's dirty and lacks amenities.

NNIKITAVLWe had issues during check-in. We had booked a suite for a family of four – two adults and two children aged 7 and 12. Upon entering the room, we realized there were no beds for the children. The front desk promised to resolve the issue once, then twice, then three times, and by the fourth time, we had to get assertive. Eventually, sleeping arrangements were made for everyone, but it took us 7 hours of constant reminding. Overall, it's a great hotel with good breakfasts, a gym, and an indoor pool. The cleaning is good, and the staff is polite.

OOndrejSAs a solo traveler, I had a overall pleasant stay at Best Western Plus Batumi. The hotel is in a very convenient location close to the beach and the main boulevard, which made exploring the city on my own very easy. The reception staff was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel quite safe and comfortable. However, there were a couple of areas that prevented it from being a perfect experience. The cleanliness of my room could have been a bit more thorough, as I noticed some dust and minor details that were overlooked. Additionally, noise from the main street and the side alley was somewhat noticeable at night, as the window soundproofing wasn't ideal for a quiet sleep. Despite these smaller issues, the hotel still offered good comfort and value for my trip. It is a solid choice for anyone traveling alone to Batumi, though a bit more attention to housekeeping and quietness would make it even better.

CChangmaHorseFirst and foremost, a huge thank you to Trip.com! My original hotel was undergoing renovations and couldn't accommodate me, so Trip.com proactively reached out and arranged a complimentary switch to a nearby hotel, covering the price difference entirely. Their service was incredibly thoughtful. After comparing several options, I ultimately chose this Indigo Hotel located in Batumi's Old Town. Upon check-in, the hotel manager gave me a detailed introduction to the hotel's rich history: the building was originally the century-old Batumi National Bank, carrying the city's financial memories and historical imprints. After sharing the building's story, the manager also made it clear that, as a protected historical building, smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the hotel. I completely agree with this rule and commend the hotel for its dedication to preserving historical architecture and creating a comfortable environment. During my stay, I truly felt Batumi's vibrant multicultural charm: the colorful mosaic stained-glass windows in the lobby told tales of Black Sea region artistry with their kaleidoscopic light and shadow; the hand-woven Georgian carpets in the guest rooms, with their intricate patterns and rich colors, carried centuries of weaving traditions and cultural heritage; and there were also well-preserved historical arches and recreated astronomical clock elements. Every detail subtly conveyed the city's historical脈絡 and cultural warmth. From the financial imprint of the former National Bank to the design blending European elegance with Georgian flair, this hotel is like a miniature museum, allowing me to fully immerse myself and understand Batumi's story during my stay.

MMrs. GNBExcellent location within walking distance of everything, courteous and very helpful and patient staff. Tremendous service team especially at front desk and in the restaurant at breakfast who are indeed hardworking and made the 14 days spent there not only a great experience but presented a sumptuous breakfast buffet that few can equal from twenty types of bread and pastries to fresh honey still on the hive tray that you carve out yourself. I was impressed.

TTori MA large room, pleasant toiletries, a comfortable mattress (though a bit short for someone 180 cm tall), plenty of pillows, heated floors in the bathroom, helpful reception staff, and an excellent breakfast. The room has a kettle and capsule coffee machine, along with Lavazza tea and capsules, including decaf. We checked in two hours early. Two swimming pools. Still, due to the tiredness of the rooms, this is a 4-star hotel instead of a 5-star hotel. Cosmetic repairs are needed: wallpaper needs to be updated, the bathroom fixtures need to be replaced, the lamps (due to wiring issues), and the air conditioner needs to be cleaned and fixed so it doesn't leak into the closet. Some shelves in the closet need to be updated and the furniture needs to be dry-cleaned. The towels need to be more carefully monitored for wear. The rooms also have vinyl wallpaper, which can easily be cleaned from tea and coffee stains, but for some reason, cleaning seems to ignore this.

GGuest UserMy wife and I stayed here from May 3rd to 8th, 2026. It's a good hotel with an excellent location. We had a room with a sea view, which was absolutely the best. The breakfasts were delicious. However, you have to specifically request toothbrushes, and sometimes they forget to bring them. Also, the exhaust fan downstairs makes a constant, loud humming noise.

GGuest UserWide sea view, just as pictured. Floor 26, lift was always prompt. Parked at back of Orbit residence in a car park. Used Bolt taxis and scooters to get around Batumi. Scooters fun but taxis actually cheaper. Lots to see and do or you can relax by the sea front, lots of food places, shops, Grand Mall across the road from apartment. Brilliant price when comparing to UK prices. Apartment fully kitted out had everything you would need.
