This hotel is designed in the Tang Dynasty style, seamlessly blending with the Huaqing Palace right next door, offering a truly immersive stay, especially with the even more stunning views at night.
The room interiors feature exquisite Chinese decor and a private hot spring tub. Staff activate the water for the tubs daily between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM, with the latest soaking time being 12:30 AM, so you can still enjoy a dip even if you return late. The water temperature is wonderfully comfortable; soaking in the tub felt even more relaxing than in Japan.
The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, from the front desk to the buggy drivers and other service personnel. There's a buggy service to take guests from the lobby to the hotel restaurant (as the hotel is quite large), and the buggies respond very quickly.
Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of dishes, all cooked to perfection.
A small gate from the hotel leads directly to the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance venue within Huaqing Palace, just a 5-minute walk away. Every evening, hotel staff carrying traditional Chinese lanterns escort ticket-holding guests (whether booked through the hotel or the official platform) to the venue and wait with their lanterns after the show to guide guests back to the hotel.
The site of the Xi'an Incident is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, and from there, it's another 30-minute walk up Mount Li to the Arrest Chiang Pavilion, both historically significant and well worth a visit. The entrance to the Mount Li cable car is also right next to the hotel.
Overall, this hotel was a delightful surprise for me. I've stayed in many top-tier hotels both domestically and internationally, but this one left a truly fantastic impression. It shows that traditional Chinese hotels can be exceptionally good.

Guest UserThe location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. This was our first time visiting Xi'an with the kids, and they absolutely loved it! We'll definitely be back to stay here again. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, and they even gave us a gift when we checked out.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable, right down to the odor-free bathroom with plenty of stable hot water. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating, always happy to help with a kind attitude. The surrounding area has convenient options for dining and transportation. I slept really well, and I highly recommend this place!

ShitougeThe hotel environment is really great, with lots of greenery and trees everywhere, making for a very comfortable stay. This time I stayed for quite a while, and the butler was wonderfully attentive throughout my stay, always responding promptly to any requests and handling them with incredible patience. They even helped me find something I accidentally left behind right away, which was a huge relief when traveling with kids. This is definitely a family-friendly hotel, and choosing a package for a long stay offers great value for money.
The only minor suggestion is that the restaurant food was a bit bland, so we opted to eat out for a few days. However, the overall experience was still very good, and I would definitely consider this hotel again for our next family trip.

HulalaViviI really enjoyed my stay. The hotel's style is a unique blend of cyberpunk and Tang Dynasty culture. Especially the room doors – I spent a while looking for mine, as they looked exactly like emergency exit doors. I totally didn't realize they were room doors! Very well hidden. The breakfast buffet was also plentiful and delicious.
The hotel also offered a complimentary 1-hour travel photography experience called 'Jinghong Travel Photography'. Since this was a purely relaxing stay, I didn't bother with makeup or nice clothes, so I just went in thinking I'd get a few casual shots and didn't have high expectations. To my surprise, the photos turned out really well! The photographer was very dedicated and skilled at guiding poses 👍
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at W. I'm now a fan of their conditioner, and the sheets on the spa beds were incredibly comfortable. Also, the hotel's ballpoint pens write so smoothly that I, uh, *accidentally* took one home with me 🤫
In short, highly recommend!

Guest UserMy stay at Grand Hyatt Xi'an was absolutely fantastic, and a special shout-out to Vivian at the front desk! She made the check-in process incredibly efficient and thorough, patiently explaining all the hotel's amenities. Knowing I had an early flight the next morning, she proactively and thoughtfully arranged complimentary airport transfer, saving me the hassle of booking a car myself. After check-in, she even presented me with a special 'energy pack' filled with authentic local snacks from Shaanxi – a truly heartwarming and generous gesture. Her communication throughout was gentle and attentive, demonstrating full professionalism. With such amazing front desk service, I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xi'an, and I highly recommend everyone to stay here and ask for Vivian!

Guest UserHighly recommend! It's been a long time since I've given a hotel such a positive review. First, let's talk about the location: Longshouyuan subway station is right downstairs, and it's just three stops to Gulou. Right around the corner when you exit the hotel, there's a food street with all kinds of eateries, including Sanbao BBQ and Lao Jiao Smoked Meat Pancakes. Wei Jia, a chain restaurant, is also across the street. As for Novotel's quality, it goes without saying—it's excellent. What's truly outstanding is the laundry room on the 26th floor. There's staff there who help with washing and drying, and even deliver your laundry right to your door. This really took a lot of stress off our shoulders, especially traveling with kids in this hot weather.

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The breakfast had a wide variety of fresh options. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

BanananealThis hotel is absolutely worth a special mention! First off, the location is excellent, with convenient transport links. The accompanying garden is truly unique in Xi'an. The public areas are grand and spacious, and even though it's not a tall building, it has four elevators. Our room itself was fantastic – great size, layout, natural light, and a lovely view, truly feeling like a suite.
But the most outstanding highlight is their service. From the doormen and front desk to housekeeping, everyone was incredibly polite and helpful. Any request we had was addressed immediately. We had arranged for a twin bed setup beforehand, and it was all ready when we arrived, which was very thoughtful!
Specifically, on our last day, our museum plans changed, and we couldn't get back to the hotel in time for checkout. We spoke to the front desk, and they graciously extended our checkout time on two separate occasions.
As an extra touch, the hotel breakfast offers small bowls of *paomo* (a local specialty), which was a nice little bonus.

My first trip to Wuhan, and staying at The Ritz-Carlton Wuhan, truly exceeded my expectations – I'm incredibly impressed! Stepping out of the elevator, a subtle, woody fragrance enveloped me, creating a relaxed and soothing ambiance. During check-in, the staff member Jessie escorted us to our room, providing a tour. She was consistently gentle, meticulous, patient, and thorough in her explanations, making for an excellent service experience.
We booked a room with executive lounge access, and the room offered expansive, open views. After dropping off our luggage, we headed straight to the Executive Lounge. It truly lives up to its reputation as arguably the largest executive lounge in Asia; the views are superb, and the overall offerings are completely worth the value. The food selection was rich and diverse; compared to executive lounges in hotels of similar caliber, the quality and variety were genuinely impressive, and the desserts were particularly stunning.
The hotel's Executive Lounge offers five food presentations throughout the day, and we experienced all but afternoon tea. The evening dining atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. After 8:30 PM, during the dessert and drinks session, we could even order custom-made cocktails. My friends and I enjoyed drinks, chatted, and played games until closing time, spending two very relaxing and enjoyable days.
