Lliuliu2005I'd heard great things about this hotel for a while, and even though it was a bit far from where I needed to be, I still chose to stay at the Legend. It lived up to expectations and was definitely worth the price. 'Historic, elegant, and high-quality' – that pretty much sums up my overall impression. Upon check-in, they upgraded my room, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The facilities are incredibly well-maintained, indicating excellent materials, meticulous management, and careful upkeep. The off-white seating in the public areas was spotless, instantly reassuring me about the hotel's hygiene. The courtyard was smaller than I imagined, but the greenery and layout were very pleasant, especially the centuries-old trees that seemed to stand guard, inspiring a sense of reverence. The guest room was comfortably and tastefully appointed, with multiple small, opening windows – a refreshing change from the large, fashionable windows often found today – offering a more residential feel and excellent privacy for different functional areas. The breakfast was exceptional, with both a buffet and à la carte options. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and it was absolutely delicious! When I returned to the hotel around noon after my errands, they kindly extended my check-out until 2 PM. The service was delightful; they diligently helped me with my luggage both upon arrival and departure, making me feel right at home. A special thank you to Derek Yang, Jack, Andi, Leo, Eva, and others.

GGuest UserI absolutely have to give this hotel a five-star review! Beyond the facilities and ambiance, what truly touched me was the warmth of the people. The service team was incredibly responsive to every request. I was worried about mosquitoes, and the staff patiently brought mosquito repellents multiple times. The biggest surprise was being showered with treats from morning till night: snacks and drinks in the lobby during the day, and Tremella soup before bed. Breakfast was not only abundant but also delicious. A special shout-out to the hotel's photography service; it was a fantastic experience with a high success rate for great photos, and the photographer was excellent at directing. The hotel's souvenir gifts are also incredibly chic—I loved them! The service strikes a perfect balance, being warm yet unobtrusive. This is, without a doubt, the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in recently.

We visited the Terracotta Army, Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell and Drum Towers, Xi'an City Wall, and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, among other places. We stayed at this hotel for all five days. The hotel's location in the old city is excellent, making it convenient to get to all the attractions. There are also many Xi'an specialty snack shops nearby, so dining out was easy. As an established five-star hotel, both the facilities and service were top-notch. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, and the heated pool was lovely!

GGuest UserLove love love this hotel!!! I stayed with my friend in a 2 bed 2 bath room for 8 nights and it was extremely spacious and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the beds super super super comfy ( I could sleep it in all day but my itinerary was super full). The photos online are quite true to the actual room. They had extremely good service too, starting from the airport pickup, where they were on time and the car was spacious and luxurious! We did the 5 seater sedan at RMB100, the price is comparable to a didi premium but the difference is that they would track your flight and made sure to you were taken care of. The hotel even had Butler service and was very attentive, I could even get them to help store my friend's birthday cake sent from the local cake shop and send it up to us when we were back. The laundry service was handy for a long stay, it was easy to use (and we were on the same floor so it felt like home to just go to and from our room to the laundry room). They even had special prices for popular shows, easily saving more than 50% of the listed price. Thanks for being a home away from home! PS the cats on the 2nd floor is super cute!

Our dedicated butler provided warm, professional, and thoughtful service, proactively anticipating our children's needs and paying attention to every detail. The hotel's courtyard environment is serene and beautiful, with an elegant overall ambiance. Check-in was efficient and smooth, and the staff were patient, meticulous, and friendly in their communication. Our room was warm and comfortable, with all necessary amenities for children fully provided and well-maintained facilities. Our stay was peaceful and comfortable. The service was enthusiastic yet discreet, thorough, and attentive, demonstrating outstanding overall quality. It was a superb accommodation experience on our trip, and we're definitely looking forward to returning.

GGuest UserI have to give the W Hotel Xi'an a full five-star rating! The absolute highlight of my entire stay was the incredibly thoughtful and top-notch service across the board. Upon arrival, the concierge proactively helped with my luggage, and their attitude was warm and friendly. Check-in at the front desk was seamless, and the staff explained everything clearly and thoroughly. I called the hotel's main line several times during my stay, and the phone was answered almost instantly every time. The operators had soft, sweet voices and were patient and meticulous in their responses. Whether I was asking about facilities, requesting amenities, or inquiring about local sightseeing routes, they provided clear and quick solutions, demonstrating incredibly high responsiveness with no delays or waiting throughout. The hotel's decor is trendy and upscale, and the guest room facilities are smart and comprehensive, offering expansive views and an excellent landscape. Service staff I encountered everywhere would proactively smile and greet me, and all my requests were handled promptly and efficiently. It wasn't about forced small talk, but rather perfectly executed professional service that made the experience absolutely fantastic. This is my top choice for a staycation in Xi'an, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

**Check-in:** First of all, even before I arrived, I received a call from the hotel staff asking what time we expected to arrive. Upon learning that we would be arriving early, they said they would try their best to arrange an early check-in for us. And indeed, when we got to the hotel, the check-in process was smooth and we were able to get into our room early. I'm very grateful for the thoughtful service from the hotel staff and the quick processing by the front desk.
**Room:** It was the height of summer and extremely hot, so we needed a lot of ice daily. We requested buckets of ice every day. The room service staff always responded promptly, provided patient service, and were consistently thorough and meticulous without any slack.
**Environment:** The hotel's facilities are excellent, clean, and elegant. Every location is clearly marked, and the elevators are quiet and fast. The concierge staff were also particularly helpful when we called for taxis, opening car doors to make getting in and out convenient. The meticulous and personalized service made us feel very at ease.
**Dining:** Breakfast was very rich. Since we booked an executive suite, we also experienced the Grand Club. The overall service and light meals were all very good, and the staff were enthusiastic. Although there were some minor issues in between, which might have been due to miscommunication, after clarifying, everything was fine. The overall service was quite good.

GGuest UserI have to give this hotel a perfect score! The location is incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The breakfast had a wide variety of fresh options. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

AAnonymous UserI stayed for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday while traveling in Xi'an. I asked the hotel if they could arrange a birthday cake, and they readily agreed! Not only was the cake large, but it was also delicious – even better than ones you buy outside. I'm so grateful to the hotel for that. The breakfast was also very substantial. From the front desk to room service to the breakfast staff, everyone provided wonderfully comfortable and thoughtful service. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Xi'an. The only minor drawback was that the swimming pool had some floating lint when I checked in back in April, but it cleared up by the third day of my stay.

Ttoday0916The Ritz-Carlton in Xi'an was quite different from others I've stayed at. The decor wasn't the luxurious wood I expected, but rather cheap laminate.
The cleanliness was also questionable. The mirror light above the sink hadn't been dusted in ages, and the side cover of the automatic toilet was just leaning helplessly on the trash can. I thought it might have come loose, but it was still in the same state after room service the next day, which was puzzling.
However, the underground parking garage here was excellent – bright, clean, and spacious.
Breakfast was up to the usual Ritz-Carlton standard, and the tomato I had with the fruit on the second day was delicious! During breakfast, there was some sort of 'Jing-ye' or 'Jin-ye' (possibly a manager) 'disciplining' the staff; about four different sets of staff members were reprimanded, seriously disturbing other diners. This shows how poor their public relations and problem-solving skills are.
Check-in efficiency was very low. When I asked if my Marriott Bonvoy nights from a Ctrip booking could be counted, I received a very blunt 'no' because it was a third-party booking, which was unpleasant. At check-out, they got my last name wrong. When I corrected them, the female front desk agent actually said, 'Right!' herself, which left me utterly speechless!
Overall, the service staff's performance at this hotel doesn't live up to the Ritz-Carlton's brand reputation.
