As one of the top hot spring hotels in the country, the check-in experience was truly impressive. The guest rooms come with private hot springs, and it was my first time experiencing hot spring water that circulates all day. From 7 PM to midnight every evening, the hot springs continuously and automatically circulate, allowing guests to enjoy a soak even after returning from the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance. This washes away travel fatigue, making for an excellent experience. The next day, guests can visit the Baoji Pool outdoor public hot springs, which offer a secluded outdoor environment with low traffic and spacious surroundings, making for a very pleasant hot spring experience. Regarding dining, breakfast is served at the Royal Dining Hall. The hotel provides a shuttle service for transportation, saving guests the walk and a lot of time. The restaurant service is attentive and thoughtful, and they even specially prepared authentic Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) on the spot, which was full of flavor. Dinner is also served here, and I highly recommend the braised Yellow River soft-shelled turtle; it's definitely worth trying. The hotel's location is a significant advantage, with an exclusive access channel to the Huaqing Palace, making it very convenient to enter and exit the scenic area. I also want to provide honest feedback on some areas for improvement: The front desk and shuttle staff were a bit stiff in their demeanor, lacking warmth and giving off a distant vibe, as if their workplace was too high-end. Also, the cleanliness details in the public areas need improvement. I found traces of small insects inside drawers, so I recommend strengthening deep disinfection and daily cleaning and maintenance.

Very satisfied! Facilities: All the fixtures are brand new. The shower pressure is great and very comfortable. There's no old or worn-out feeling as some negative reviews mentioned, only understated luxury. Cleanliness: It's cleaned very well every day, and they even noticed we had a child and thoughtfully left two extra bottles of water, which was very attentive and considerate. Ambiance: The antique-style decor is in keeping with the age of the hotel, and both the kids and elders really enjoyed this style. Since we're in a thousand-year-old capital, of course, we want to stay in a hotel with historical charm! There's a bronze carriage in the lobby and Tang Sancai pottery in the room, giving a feeling of traveling back 5000 years. My child even said our hotel is like a museum! Service: From check-in to check-out, every staff member we encountered was smiling and had an excellent attitude.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable, right down to the odor-free bathroom with plenty of stable hot water. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating, always happy to help with a kind attitude. The surrounding area has convenient options for dining and transportation. I slept really well, and I highly recommend this place!

The overall hotel environment was quite good, and the butler service after check-in was excellent. However, the all-inclusive package felt a bit underwhelming. The pony ride was just the kids circling the hotel entrance on a pony. The unpowered playground equipment was so run down it made the place feel incredibly low-rent. Many of the machines in the basement game area weren't working, and the ones that did take tokens were old and dilapidated. Lunch was à la carte, and dinner was a hotpot buffet. Overall, I didn't feel it was particularly worth the price. The breakfast rice noodles were good, especially if you added some fermented bean curd sauce and shredded pork sauce. In conclusion, I would recommend staying here, but I wouldn't recommend buying the all-inclusive package (my son is over 1.3 meters tall, so we paid an extra 300 RMB for his all-inclusive child package, and the services provided for 1700 RMB a day didn't feel entirely worth it). Still, the accommodation environment and service were quite good.

The best decision I made on this trip to Xi'an was choosing the W Hotel. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was blown away. The 17-meter high ceiling with a giant spiral chandelier changes colors with the music, and the floating staircase feels like it leads to the future. This blend of Tang Dynasty charm and cyberpunk design is incredibly 'trendy.' The room was an even bigger surprise. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows paired with an oversized scenic balcony offered breathtaking views of Qujiang Lake, perfect for catching the sunset. The quality was evident everywhere, from the smart voice control for the entire room to the bathtub by the window, Dyson hairdryer, and Bliss toiletries. The bedding was so soft, I never wanted to get up once I lay down. The location is also impeccable, right next to Qujiang Lake Heritage Park and within walking distance of Datang Everbright City. You can explore historical sites by day and return to the hotel to capture neon-lit photos by night – two atmospheres with one switch. Breakfast at the ALL DAY DINING restaurant offered a fantastic spread, from authentic Roujiamo and Biangbiang noodles to Cantonese dim sum. In the evening, I headed to WOOBAR for a special 'Chang'an Twelve Hours' cocktail, enjoying the ancient city's night view with a slight buzz – simply perfect. What truly topped it off was the service. From the efficient check-in at the front desk with a welcome drink to the concierge's enthusiastic recommendations for local eateries, every detail made me feel exceptionally well taken care of. In short, this wasn't just a hotel stay; it was an immersive, trendy experience that transcended time. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xi'an.

This hotel was part of our spontaneous summer trip to Xi'an with the kids, and honestly, it's been the best hotel experience I've had in years! What really stood out: 1. The hotel's overall design is fantastic. 2. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived around 1 PM for check-in, and seeing it was a family trip, they promptly upgraded our room. 3. The breakfast spread was amazing, and what’s even better is they offered so many local specialties like Qishan Saocimian (noodles), Roujiamo (meat burger), Rouwantang (meatball soup), and Zenggao (steamed rice cake)… The taste was just as good as a professional restaurant! The executive lounge service was also excellent. Our butler provided thoughtful service, and the location is super convenient, only a 40-minute drive from the airport. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Beautiful large hotel. Only problem - airconditioning not functioning. Metro a short walk. Bus stop outside. Good location. Quiet area. Seafood downstairs, did not eat there. Chinese next door, we did eat at was excellent ( esp the aubergine). Fruit and snacks from vendors outside. Pool is an adequate size for a short dip in the evening to help relax.

Ever since I was little, I'd gaze at the People's Grand Hotel from afar, always feeling like it was a mysterious place I longed to explore. Now, that wish has come true! For a few hundred dollars, I got to stay in this upscale hotel. It boasts a garden-style courtyard, bursting with vibrant flowers and alive with the sounds of birds and cicadas. The breakfast spread is incredibly rich, offering both Chinese and Western options. Parking is super convenient, and they even have a thoughtful car wash station. The room itself is cozy yet grand, fully equipped with everything you need, and wonderfully quiet for sleeping. Inside the courtyard, there's an olive tree, originally brought back by Premier Zhou Enlai, now flourishing beautifully. There are so many great things here that words simply can't capture them all.

This was my first time in Xi'an, and I picked it randomly as a getaway to clear my mind. I didn't visit any attractions; I just stayed in the hotel for two days. The Ritz certainly didn't disappoint. From the moment I got out of the car until check-out, since it was a pure staycation, I requested various services from the hotel multiple times, and their response was always quick. The spa was particularly outstanding and definitely worth experiencing. Breakfast was also delicious. As a loyal InterContinental fan, I've now become a Marriott fan and will definitely try other Ritz properties in the future, haha. The only minor flaw was that the minibar was so well hidden I almost couldn't find it. It blended perfectly with the wall. I had to ask the concierge who brought up my luggage to find it, but it's a trivial matter. Also, a big thank you to Lydia for her service and the small gift!
