Very good experience! I went to the hotel with a try and a try. There was a large parking lot. The doorman took the initiative to help with the luggage. The lobby staff was warm and provided discounts. The hotel is clean, the room facilities are very new, the bedding is comfortable, the shower water is very flush, and the fatigue of driving is washed away. The surrounding environment is good, there are many restaurants opposite the hotel, and there is a leisure square in the west. The first time I came to Yulin, the image was very good. Will settle in next time.

We booked for 2nights in April and it came with breakfast, first run of minibar, Single Tang Dynasty themed travel photography & Imperial Hot Spring Twelve Hours Experience. As our room has its own hot bath that fills up every night at 7.30pm to 12.30am, we did not go to the Imperial hot spring which is at located in another building. Hotel: It is located in the Hua Qing Palace scenic area and for hotel guests, you can enter and exit the scenic area freely. In the scenic area, there are other eateries like KFC and coffee joints but they operate only during scenic area opening hours. The Hua Qing Palace consists of many cultural sites like Tang Dynasty Imperial Hot Spring Relics Museum, Xi’an Incident site, Five Rooms Hall, Jiulonghu Lake and Furonghu Lake scenic spot, Tang Dynasty Pear Garden Relics Museum and many landmark buildings, such as Feishuang Hall Wanshou Hall, Longevity Hall, Huan Garden and Emperor Yu Palace. Service: The staff in the hotel are helpful to assist and answers all my questions in a clear manner. They came with buggy as soon as I dial for them and also assisted us to purchase the tickets for the show. Photography: I enjoyed the Tang Dynasty themed travel photography and I find that both make-up artist (Ms Dian Dian) and photographer (Mr Wang Jie) are very professional and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This photography is conducted by a third-party vendor that is stationed in the hotel. We went to the Hua Qing Palace for the photography. It is a convenient location to take photo with beautiful backgrounds. A day after the photo taking, we went online to choose the photos that I wanted to keep. Customer Service Ms Liang Yanping conducted a live session via a link in wechat, somewhat similar to zoom meeting to showcase all the photos that were taken. The complimentary digital photos given by the hotel are for 3 high quality digital photos and if one wants more than 3 pictures, there will be an extra charge for the purchase. Food: The restaurant is located in another building which is about 8minute walk away. Alternatively, we can call the buggy to send us there and back. The food is really yummy and I must say the Chang-an Roasted Whole Chicken is a must try. Also.... the desserts are so good too. With a love for sweet food, I tried the almond lotus paste and also the lychee and redberry cold dessert. They are both gooooood... Show: At night, there is a large-scale live-action historical dance drama “The Song of Everlasting Sorrow” that is created by Shaanxi Tourism Group Company. The theme of this dance drama is the love story between Emperor Xuanzong and Consort Yang. This is a must see as the performance is top notch. Separate tickets must be purchased for the show. Summary: For those who want to be in a historical site that offers a hot spa right in your bedroom, this is an ideal place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay here and will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who are visiting Xi-an and to use this as a last stop in Xi-an before heading to your next destination.

The environment here is great, and there's a dedicated underground parking lot. The bathroom has excellent wet and dry separation. The staff are very enthusiastic, the young lady at the front desk was professional and helpful, and the young man was also very responsible. The self-service laundry is super convenient, and there's a free gym. Overall, I had a fantastic experience.

Title: Solid Hardware, Superb Location, Excellent Service: Our High-Efficiency Xi'an Trip's 'Base Camp' For our family trip to Xi'an, we chose the Hilton Xi'an, and the overall experience was incredibly solid, making it an ideal choice for a high-quality family vacation. Location (5 stars): Extremely convenient, with a plethora of dining options nearby and excellent transportation links in all directions. For travelers with a packed daily itinerary, this is a fantastic starting point. The breakfast was also very substantial. Rooms (Solid): Although the room types retain the classic style of an established five-star hotel, they are exceptionally well-maintained. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the facilities were convenient. I particularly want to commend the hot water supply, which was abundant and stable – crucial for muscle relaxation and fatigue recovery after an intense day of travel. Gym (Pleasant Surprise): When passing by, I noticed the equipment was very comprehensive and professional, and exceptionally well-maintained. This is a huge bonus for guests who maintain a fitness routine, though unfortunately, my itinerary was too packed to experience it this time. Service (Professional): Demonstrated Hilton's consistently high standards, with highly professional and responsive staff. ⚠️ Avoid This (Important): I strongly advise against the “Suyue SPA” on the third floor, which is independently operated. I tried a 597 RMB “Maldivian-style” treatment, and the experience was truly terrible. As someone who frequently enjoys spa experiences at top-tier hotels in the Maldives and Bali, I found the techniques here to be extremely unprofessional, completely lacking the expected quality, procedural standards, and stress-relieving effects. I recommend that guests who value spa quality avoid this place and not waste their time here.

This is a typical chain hotel. During the off-season, there weren't many staff members around. The first front desk attendant I encountered was quite unhelpful and didn't seem to care! However, the service from other staff members I met later was much better. The room's cleanliness was poor (as shown in the pictures). Most importantly: I forgot to close my car trunk, and it was left open in the parking lot all day without anyone notifying me. After my trip, I decided not to extend my stay! I have no idea how Ctrip could rate this place 5 diamonds!

First off, I have to say the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Datang Everbright City, two major attractions, are right on your doorstep. You can pop back to the hotel for a rest anytime you get tired from exploring, without having to jostle with other tourists. Plus, the Joy City mall across the street is super convenient for dining and shopping. It's also easy to get to the Bell and Drum Towers. **Service:** The hotel service is excellent. The front desk staff even upgraded my room, which was very spacious and comfortable. **Facilities:** Although a bit older, the facilities have a charming, antique feel that perfectly matches Xi'an's ancient capital vibe. **Environment:** The overall environment is also very good, and the soundproofing is excellent. The breakfast area isn't huge, but it offers a unique spread.

I highly recommend this hotel; the front desk staff and everyone else provided excellent service. Especially the night shift front desk team – I saw how hard they were working, so I gave them two bottles of drinks. There was a small detail when I checked in that I really appreciated: they put my ID in a plastic sleeve. That shows great attention to detail. The room's cleanliness was also quite good, and the internet connection was excellent. I hope the hotel continues to improve, and I hope I have a great time in Xi'an.

This hotel is conveniently located directly across from the Lintong Outlets, right next to Exit D of Zhiyanggongyuan subway station. There's a shuttle bus at the Kids' Playground intersection that can take you straight to the front desk for check-in. The staff are all incredibly friendly, especially the warm and thoughtful service we received. They were very meticulous and helped us arrange extra amenities for our room. The room itself came with both adult and children's bathrobes, which was a nice touch. There are also plenty of activities for kids, like a children's camp and a merry-go-round, which my baby absolutely loved. The property also features a swimming pool and a gym. The resort grounds are quite expansive, offering plenty of space for adults to enjoy as well.

This is a well-established five-star hotel in Xi'an, boasting an excellent location right next to Xincheng Plaza, within the ancient city walls. You can quickly cycle to the Bell and Drum Towers from here. Despite its central location, it's nestled in a very quiet, private courtyard, giving you a sense of peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. Strolling through the courtyard, you can feel the profound historical changes Xi'an has undergone since the founding of the PRC. While some of the facilities inevitably show their age, you can tell they're diligently maintained. Upon arrival, an attendant will help carry your luggage to your room. The front desk staff are incredibly professional and courteous, resolving issues very quickly. Communication with Sofitel Legend Peoples Grand Hotel Xian was also seamless, and they facilitated the transfer of our luggage. I accidentally left a few items behind during check-in, but they handled the communication within minutes and had my belongings delivered to my new room at Sofitel Legend. Knowing our new room wasn't ready yet, they proactively helped with communication and offered a late check-out, making guests feel a profound sense of warmth, like coming home, especially during the New Year period. This level of service efficiency and attitude truly deserves praise. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the freshly made waffles are absolutely delicious – soft, sweet, and chewy. The only minor drawback was the crowd at breakfast during the New Year, but the tables were cleared quite promptly, and the cleaning staff worked incredibly hard.

LLandaorenI hadn't stayed at Sofitel Legend before, but I had twice stayed at the Sofitel and Mercure hotels next door (Mercure has since closed down). However, I've always had an irresistible attraction to hotels with a rich history, especially those converted from former high-level government guesthouses (let's call them 'old money hotels'). While planning where to go for the 2026 Chinese New Year, a short video platform surprisingly pushed this hotel that had always intrigued me. I checked the prices, and compared to other five-star hotels in Xi'an, it was significantly cheaper, so I booked a New Year's Eve stay. Upon arrival, the doorman promptly opened the car door and helped with our luggage, which goes without saying (though, to be fair, many five-star hotel doormen nowadays lack such proactiveness). The front desk staff efficiently and smoothly handled the check-in process, offering a choice of champagne, coffee, or black tea as a welcome drink. While resting in the lounge area, I happened to see a few young women taking photos in the hotel's coffee corner, adding a lively touch to the atmosphere. The attendant escorted us to our room, briefly introducing the hotel's history. Built in the 1950s, it served as a provincial guesthouse, combining Soviet, French, and traditional Chinese architectural styles. The complimentary bottled water was also in Tetra Pak packaging, reflecting the hotel's commitment to green practices. During our stay, the restaurant's host remembered our preferences by the second day. The 'shui盆牛肉' (beef soup) with 'baiji mo' (flatbread) was incredibly fragrant and chewy; I almost wanted to pack some to take home. The butler service was also impeccable, with turn-down service promptly at 7 PM every evening. The local specialty drink, 'Bingfeng' soda, was a delightful taste sensation. On the morning of the first day of Chinese New Year, the hotel arranged a lion dance performance – I never expected to see a Southern Lion dance team in Xi'an. Although the hotel only has 71 guest rooms, excluding the few business presidential suites that are rarely occupied by ordinary guests, there are about 60 rooms. Based on my observations during our 4-day, 3-night stay over Chinese New Year, there were probably only 8-9 other occupied rooms, so the overall occupancy rate wasn't high. Perhaps most people don't choose this place, as its exterior appears very understated and discreet. However, I highly recommend it, especially when traveling with elderly family members. The location is super convenient for getting around, just a 10-minute walk from Wulukou Station on Metro Line 1 (right next to Minleyuan and Wanda Plaza). I'd love to stay here again next time I visit Xi'an, haha! 😄

MM281532****I'd call Xi'an Guangcheng Hotel a ”detail-lover's paradise”! It's my go-to whenever I'm in Xi'an. Piping hot complimentary late-night desserts are delivered promptly at 9 PM – a true lifesaver for anyone hungry after dark! My husband is picky about his sleep, but they actually offer buckwheat hull pillows, and with two height options, it cured his neck pain anxiety. The front desk staff are incredibly efficient, whether it's for check-in/check-out or room changes. I accidentally left some clothes behind, and a staff member proactively called to ask if I wanted them mailed. Compared to other hotels where forgotten items vanish without a trace, their service truly stands out! You'll understand what it's like to ”be pampered like a VIP” once you've stayed here.

DDafuxiansenFor my trip to Xi'an, I specifically booked an executive room to experience the lavish five-meal-a-day treatment! First off, the hotel's location is quite good, with a mall, supermarket, and metro station downstairs. Secondly, although the hotel opened in 2019, the decor is still very much up to par, incorporating many Chinese elements into its design. The service also deserves a shout-out, from the pomegranate flower welcome drink upon check-in to the attentive reception and communication from the lounge front desk staff. A special commendation goes to Floor Manager Wu Huan, who patiently answered all my questions during my stay with genuine sincerity, truly enhancing my experience. As for the most anticipated part, the food, it's clear the executive lounge puts a lot of effort in. Both lunch and dinner offer a rich variety of dishes, and breakfast is no exception. While, as someone from Guangdong, the taste might not entirely suit my palate, you can still see the hotel's significant investment in its F&B.

EExpatBirthday in BaoJi: The Swisstouches Hot Spring Hotel property is nice and involves a Master Plan for “In Tang Dream Town” development. I enjoyed my room spa enough, but there are bath houses, steam rooms, and a spa. I chose to eat dinner in my room and kept to room service for breakfast. The sleeping is comfortable and the walk with photos. There is a book room, cafe, and some restaurants. I saw a Lego store, but not a gift shop. Multitude of tea houses. Stayed just one night. An hour from xX’an by train plus 30 minutes to drive. The car ride is 90 minutes from west Xi’an. Lots of families here and property investors. Decor is lovely, there’s shuttle service, and walking areas. Note: Construction in area. Culture block down the street open at night. Service and remedy attentive. Thank you.
