"As foreign travelers (family of 3) we had such a wonderful stay at Sangzhu Hotel and couldn’t recommend it more. The location is absolutely perfect (right opposite the Old Town) making it incredibly convenient while still offering a peaceful and charming atmosphere.
The hotel itself is stunning and clearly very popular. There are always people in the lobby taking photos and even doing traditional costume photo shoots, and you can also rent costumes and do professional-style photoshoots right there. We even tried some painting activities, which are paid experiences but very convenient since everything is located within the hotel facilities (and it’s actually quite popular with visitors coming from all around the Town just for these experiences). It really adds a fun and cultural dimension to the stay.
One of our favorite parts was the beautiful cultural coffee shop inside the hotel, featuring a gorgeous round table and a cozy bonfire. In the evening, they host a lovely bonfire 🔥event with traditional dances and butter tea, which created such a magical and authentic vibe✨
We stayed in the family room with two beds, and it was beautifully decorated in traditional Shangri-La style. From the elegant velvet curtains to the thoughtful details like velvet pouches for the disposable slippers, every little touch made the room feel special and luxurious. They also provided luxuriously smooth and soft robes for all of us, which was such a nice added touch.
The service was also exceptional. In addition to a lovely breakfast and afternoon tea, the staff brought local milk and pastries to our room every day as a snack, such a thoughtful gesture. We were traveling across China for three weeks with a lot of luggage, and the team kindly helped us with everything, always with a smile.
What truly stood out was the incredibly warm and dynamic team 🤍🤍🤍 Despite the language barrier, they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome, even helping me find the name of my favorite song from the bonfire evening show, which was such a sweet and memorable moment.
Our only regret is not staying longer. We will definitely be back! And thank you as well for the lovely little souvenir gift at the end, it was such a thoughtful way to finish our stay💕"

"We specifically traveled all the way from Haixi to Haidong just to experience a waterfront room. The location is truly right by the water, and being so close to Erhai Lake is absolutely stunning – perfect for photos without any visual obstructions. Even though it's a guesthouse, the room amenities and supplies are incredibly high-end, definitely on par with many four-star hotels. The service was also exceptional; they provided pick-up and drop-off and helped with luggage, even bringing us hot milk when we arrived late at night. When we left, they subtly gave us a nice box of brown sugar as a souvenir, without pressuring us for a good review. However, my whole family insisted that I, as their representative, come back and leave a glowing review! 😂"

"The reason why we choose Guanjing Hotel is that it is new, has large rooms and a modern style. The second is the new large projector equipment, Xiaodu Xiaodu, which is intelligent. Third, the floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to enjoy the scenery of Qinghua Sea, which makes you feel happy. Fourth, compared with other hotels overall, it has a high cost-performance ratio.
Special praise to Ms. Zeng at the front desk, who was warm, thoughtful and cheerful. Not only did she quickly handle our temporary cancellation of the extra room we booked after check-in, she also gave us a breakfast voucher, making us feel like home.
A small suggestion: Xiaodu is not very easy to use, and the projection TV is not user-friendly because the machine requires operation. Instructions can be added at the projection location. In addition, there are only 2 bottles of mineral water, and 2 more bottles can be ordered.
Overall evaluation, generally not recommended, but this time it is worth recommending."

"The hotel offers a great range of services. The afternoon tea coffee is freshly ground and aromatic, and the complimentary late-night snack service is a thoughtful touch. The hotel's location is perfect, right next to the popular Canger Avenue, a hotspot for Instagram-worthy photos. You can easily get ready in the morning and head out for some great shots. A special shout-out to all the staff members; everyone was incredibly nice. Even the laundry room attendant actively helped me with my clothes, washed them, put them in the dryer, and even delivered them back to my room. The service here is genuinely better than some of the big-name five-star hotels I've stayed at. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to friends visiting Dali, and I'll be booking it again myself on my next trip. (And the cleanliness is also worth praising; even someone with my level of OCD felt completely at ease!)"

"The room was spotless and very comfortable. It had a sleek, modern design, exactly my style. Smart controls added to the convenience. The room was also very spacious. Although it was a bit pricier than other places nearby, I found it to be absolutely worth it. The only minor improvements I'd suggest are: no power outlet under the desk, which made using a laptop a bit inconvenient, and no clothes rack in the bathroom.
Opening the window revealed a mountain view, and outside the door were charming farmhouse landscapes – it was so peaceful and lovely. There were sunflowers right by the entrance.
I especially want to commend the staff (both male and female) for their excellent service; calling it five-star service wouldn't be an exaggeration. They gave great travel recommendations, suggested places to eat, and offered comprehensive touring advice. Breakfast included coffee and tea, and there were even late-night snacks and bedtime desserts. I absolutely loved it. My younger sister really enjoyed playing with their dog.
The large map at the entrance was fantastic – a direct guide to local attractions and activities."

Facilities: The room design has a Greek flair, making it feel very cozy. The in-room lighting and other amenities are smart-controlled.
Cleanliness: The hygiene was quite good.
Environment: The hotel is located in Xiaowan Village, offering beautiful scenery and a quiet location. You can enjoy views of Fuxian Lake from the room.
Service: We arrived by car around 9:30 PM. Unable to find parking, we contacted the hotel, and a staff member warmly greeted us at the entrance. However, due to the New Year's Eve crowds, there wasn't enough parking, so we had to park elsewhere. The hotel promised to cover the parking fee. After checking out, I showed them the parking payment screenshot, and they asked for my QR code for payment. However, from check-out at 10:30 AM until I got home at 9:00 PM, I still hadn't received the reimbursed parking fee.
Complimentary fruit, tea, Americano coffee: Since we arrived late, I didn't have coffee at night and asked the hotel if I could have it the next morning. They agreed, stating coffee was available from 8 AM to 11 PM. However, when I messaged them at 8:30 AM the next day asking for two coffees, they said they would deliver them at 10 AM. They were never delivered, even by 10:30 AM check-out. The other fruits and tea were also not provided.
Overall, the hotel's environment, cleanliness, and breakfast were good, but the service attitude was quite casual. They failed to deliver on their promise to cover the parking fee (20 RMB) and provide the complimentary coffee.

Love his garden, like Dorothy's name, the whole homestay is full of European fairy tale colors.
Hygienic: It is cleaned every day, and the rooms are warm and tidy. Of course, there are inevitably small bugs and geckos in the country house. This is normal, and the children like it very much.
Service: The service is very good, because the bed room booked, the little girl saw our child, took the initiative to upgrade the parent-child room for us, and also helped us carry such a heavy suitcase up to the fourth floor. Every day, there are fruit plates and hot milk, which makes people feel warm.
Facilities: The bedding and decoration are very comfortable. I am a little suggestion. The roof terrace and the second floor terrace can be renovated and built. The scenery is very good. It may be that there are fewer people going now and there are no supporting leisure facilities.
Small reminder: Because it is in the Internet Red B&B Street, there may be a homestay for activities at night, there is noise, we met a few people in a homestay next to it one night to have a sharing meeting, and I took the microphone to speak publicly after 11 o'clock in the evening. Can't you hear it face to face? Very strange. This has nothing to do with this homestay, it is a problem of the whole environment. If you are used to quiet and early sleep, you need to pay attention.

The boss is very welcoming and will take you downstairs by car.
The room is very big and the facilities are a little old, but the equipment and materials are very good.
The most commendable thing is the view. This price has the same first-line sea view as Hilton, which is unbeatable value for money.

2. The front desk attendant and the room attendant are the same person, and the service is relatively enthusiastic.
3. Vehicles and personnel must be registered before entering the hotel to increase safety.
4. Since breakfast does not start until 8:30, after coordination with the waiter, the chef will deliver the meal to the room at 7:40, and the variety is relatively complete and the taste is good.
5. Because it is inconvenient to find the hotel halfway up the mountain, I asked two people to point out the road. It is recommended to set up road signs at the entrance and turning point for easy finding.
