"The hotel's location is super convenient, just a 10-minute walk to the beach, perfect for digging in the sand and exploring the tide pools. The front desk even gave us a fridge magnet and a small wind chime upon check-in, which was a lovely touch. My kids absolutely loved the tent in our family room. Breakfast was standard, nothing fancy but certainly enough to fill you up. The parking lot is quite spacious, which was a big plus. Overall, we had a very satisfying stay."
JJoe1992A Great Seaside Retreat at East beach Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao Beidaihe
My stay at the Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao Beidaihe was easily the highlight of my Beidaihe trip—this is truly a gem for travelers craving a cozy and convenient coastal getaway.
Let’s start with its unbeatable location, the biggest selling point. Just steps from the beach, I could walk to the shore in 5 minutes for morning sunrise or evening strolls, and it’s also close to popular spots like Pigeon Nest Park. The surrounding area is packed with dining options, from local seafood shacks to nice restaurants, so grabbing a fresh seafood meal or casual bite never required a long drive.
The rooms exceeded my expectations too. I booked a sea-view room, and the view didn’t disappoint—large windows let in plenty of sunlight, and I could hear the waves from my bed. The space was spacious and clean, with crisp, stain-free linens and a spotless bathroom that had no odd odors. The hotel also thoughtfully provided amenities like a minibar and free Wi-Fi, which added to the convenience.
What really stood out was the service. The front desk staff were warm and responsive—when I asked about nearby attractions, they gave detailed recommendations, and when my family needed a hand with luggage, someone came right away. They even had little extras like kids’ sand toys and strollers available, which would be a lifesaver for families traveling with young ones.
If I had to mention a small flaw, a few guests noted that some bathroom fixtures felt a bit worn, but this didn’t affect my stay at all. For anyone visiting Beidaihe and wanting to be close to the sea with great service, this hotel is a no-brainer. I’ll definitely book here again next time!

Outstanding
PPutizi6046I've stayed here a few times now, and the facilities, cleanliness, and environment are consistently excellent. However, there are quite a few issues: Firstly, the air conditioning is always too cold in summer; even with a light jacket and long pants, it's still freezing. Secondly, I tried to check in at 2:30 PM, and the front desk staff, a young man with glasses, told me my reserved room was ready and just being inspected, asking me to wait in the lobby and promising a call. After waiting for half an hour with no news, I went back to the front desk, only to find out my room key had already been processed, but no one had informed me. The staff member with glasses was also nowhere to be found. This level of service attitude and work efficiency is truly speechless. I hope the hotel strengthens its training for staff regarding their professional skills and service awareness.
KKezimolimiFacilities: The amenities are very complete, and all the hotel's facilities are new and very clean.
Hygiene: Tidy and clean, the room was cleaned every day.
Environment: The environment is fantastic, especially the unbeatable sea view from outside the room.
Service: The service was excellent and always available on call.
GGuest UserI booked a sunrise room, and unfortunately, it was cloudy both days. However, the sea view was still quite good; I could see it as soon as I pulled back the curtains, though the railing did obstruct the view a little. For the price, this place is probably very good value for money in this area. It's about a 10-minute bike ride to Xianluo Island. I'm not too picky about rooms, as long as the facilities and cleanliness are decent. I brought my own sheets and just used alcohol wipes for a quick clean upon check-in. For families with kids who want to play in the water and sand, it's convenient for washing and drying clothes, being close to a large balcony, clothes dry quickly and there's no dampness. You can walk down to the beach in about 3-5 minutes. According to the tide chart, you can even dig for shellfish in the sea right below the building; we went and dug up some small shrimp in the morning. Later, when we stayed downstream at Jinmenghaiwan, there was nothing to find. Also, during our stay, it wasn't peak season yet, so there weren't many people staying in the apartment building. If you like a lively atmosphere or are afraid of the dark, this complex is indeed a bit out of the way. It has its pros and cons. I recommend checking Gaode Maps for the exact location, it's very clear. I hope this review is helpful to everyone.

PPianzhoutingyuThe hotel is right by the sea. I booked a garden view room but got upgraded to a sea view room. You can see the ocean and the waves crashing against the rocks, and in the distance, you can spot Biluo Tower. Just a three-minute walk downstairs, you'll find Huanle Bay and the cruise pier, which is convenient for photos and sightseeing.

GGuest UserPros: I booked a 3-day, 2-night package that included either a hot spring experience or a golf experience (60 balls). The individual charges for these weren't expensive. If the weather is bad, you can still enjoy the indoor hot springs. The large lawn is perfect for relaxing, and the sand is fine, which my child loved at the beach.
Suggestions for improvement: My 7-year-old child, just over 1.2 meters tall, was charged an additional 59 RMB at the restaurant. I suggest this policy be improved. Even if the meal fee were just included in the package price upfront, it would be better. I've stayed at many family-friendly hotels where meals for children are either complimentary or not charged extra. An additional charge feels unpleasant. The food quality was also mediocre.
It seems the shuttle bus service within the park is no longer running, even though there are signs indicating departure times. I recommend calling ahead to confirm before waiting.
GGuest UserThis is our go-to hotel every year. It's really easy to find, and this year we happened to check in right on my child's birthday! The hotel even gave us a birthday cake. The buffet downstairs is also very rich and varied! We'll definitely be back again next year!
LLiuxiaobaodelvxingrijiOverall, how was it? The hotel's environment and surrounding amenities are great; you could easily spend two days here without leaving. The overall service is hard to rate because with so many people, some services were excellent, while others weren't. But what I absolutely couldn't stand was the windowless room... It was unbelievable. My rhinitis flared up; there was a strange smell when I walked in. Turning on the air conditioning helped a bit... But every time I went out and got some fresh air... then came back into the room... it was pure torture. Good thing I only stayed one night... I suggest the hotel removes this room type. The experience was truly awful. Everything else was good, and I'd go back again, but I definitely wouldn't book that room type again; it was just too much.....
MMLS755What an amazing place!!! We stayed at the Senzeyuan Hotel which is nicer than the other two hotels in my opinion. Service and cleanliness was excellent and the ladies at the front desk were so helpful and kind. Feng Ting patiently gave us information and quickly responded to any requests we had during our stay. We were very close to the beach and hot spring / water park. There are so many things to do! I went with my daughters and they had a great time. The show and beach party was their favorite! We enjoyed our dinners at the western cafe by the beach. I wish there were more restaurants and things opened but I understand not many people come to the beach in October.
I also want to thank the staff at the hot spring/ water park for being so caring. My daughter had a minor emergency and they were very concerned and even walked us back to our room. We felt very taken care of and will definitely be back!
