The bedding was fresh, and even the nooks and crannies were clean, making for a very comfortable stay. - **Overall Environment:** The location was quiet and peaceful. The hotel's public areas were tastefully decorated and stylish. The natural light and ventilation in the rooms were excellent. - **Service Experience:** All the staff were warm and attentive, and I have to give a special shout-out to Amumu at the front desk! Check-in and check-out were super efficient, and she proactively gave us tips on local attractions and food. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly, and her attitude was gentle and patient. The entire experience was fantastic! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area and have already recommended it to friends who are planning trips!

Choosing the right hotel for a summer trip is crucial, and this place was a fantastic choice! The location is perfect, super close to Qilou Old Street, and nearby Hainan University South Gate and Xitianmian, making sightseeing, dining, and exploring incredibly convenient. The room was spotlessly clean, and the living environment was very comfortable. The biggest surprise was the room's view – beautiful scenery during the day and a stunning sunset in the evening, truly a healing experience. Overall, the stay was excellent; transportation, cleanliness, and views were all top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel for a summer visit; it offers incredible value for money!

My partner and I stayed here for a night during our trip. We originally booked a room on floors 3-8, but the front desk kindly upgraded us to a higher floor free of charge. Both the king and twin rooms offer partial sea views, and you can catch a glimpse of the ocean from the window. There are ongoing construction projects nearby, including an underwater tunnel and a grand theater, but we weren't bothered during the day while we were out exploring. The construction noise was minimal and didn't disturb our rest. We had such a pleasant stay that we decided to extend it for another night. The room was tidy and clean, with complete amenities. The staff were warm and attentive, and the concierge, especially the lady who assisted us, was very efficient. The location is super convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. Overall, it offers great value for money and is perfect for couples on a short trip. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel again on my next visit to Sanya.

Not great value for money, and the overall experience was pretty mediocre. The fact that the island was reclaimed from the sea, and the various buildings on it, are quite astonishing, but it's a real shame how many areas are neglected and falling into disuse. With over 5,000 rooms, the hotel had a high occupancy rate during the holiday, making the lobby feel like a chaotic market, packed with people and incredibly noisy. There were significant delays for check-in, and breakfast was practically a free-for-all, with extremely poor food quality. Room cleanliness was terrible; there were scratches all over the walls, and the bed runner was damaged and still had dried food crumbs from the previous guest on it – makes you wonder how long it hadn't been washed. The room itself was tiny, and when I asked for an extra pillow, I was told they didn't have any. We were a family of one adult and two children, both around six years old, but were told we had to purchase an additional child's breakfast, as two small children couldn't count as one adult. For nearly 600 RMB a night, with nothing included, it really wasn't worth it.

Location, Cleanliness, Facilities: The location on the west coast is quite convenient. The room's cleanliness is good, and the facilities are complete, including a kids' play area. The concierge and security proactively offered to help with our luggage and asked if we needed butler service. Highlights: Both the room and the lobby have information brochures about the hotel's facilities and nearby tourist services. Upon check-in, the front desk also provided a detailed information sheet, which helped reduce guest anxiety and waiting time by having so much information readily available. In the evening, the lobby bar even had live music, creating a great atmosphere. There aren't many resort-style hotels like this in Haikou, which is a big plus! 👍 Minor incident: During check-in, the front desk mentioned they'd send welcome fruit. My child overheard it and kept asking that evening why it hadn't arrived. I didn't think much of it at the time, so I didn't follow up.

We had a beautiful view of the sea from our cave-like room but the cleanliness left much to be desired. We often saw bugs in the toilet 🚽 so that freaked me out a little. The towels also seemed very old and used, so bring your own if possible. The service was great though, simply connect with them via WeChat and they will check in and share more info with you during your stay. There was complimentary afternoon tea daily, which is basically a drink and four tiramisu cake cubes. The drink is alright, but the cakes you can skip. The room package includes a photoshoot too. While they offer 3 complimentary soft copies of the photos taken by a photographer, note that they are unedited. After seeing the edited version, it usually makes you want to pay more for the edited version. Lastly, the hotel location requires a short walk through white dragon street after alighting by car, so bear that in mind for accessibility. It’s great for walking around, exploring the town and access to the beach.

Bringing my mom to Haikou for a vacation, choosing InterContinental Haikou this time was truly a smart decision. From the welcoming reception upon arrival to the thoughtful room setup, and the sunset view from the Executive Lounge, everything maintained InterContinental's consistently high standards. The bedding, in particular, was incredibly comfortable, and my mom slept wonderfully. But the biggest surprise this time was booking a photoshoot with Wild Deer Photography, a hotel partner. I was initially worried my mom would be camera-shy, but the photography team was amazing at guiding her! My mom loved the makeup and styling; it made her look youthful without being overdone. The photographer was exceptionally patient, making my mom laugh the entire time and capturing her most relaxed and authentic self. There were a few side profiles by the sea at sunset that were so gentle and elegant – my mom adored the raw photos. The editing wasn't excessive; it retained the skin's texture while significantly brightening her complexion. My mom was exceptionally pleased this time, saying, ”These are the best photos I've taken in years,” and they received a lot of compliments when she posted them on social media. I honestly recommend that if you're bringing your parents to InterContinental Haikou, you absolutely must try Wild Deer Photography to beautifully document those warm moments during your trip. We had a comfortable stay and an even happier photoshoot – full marks!

I must give this stay a rave review. I chose Lanting Villa B&B Hotel this time, and the experience was excellent. It features detached villas, private pools, and pet-friendly facilities. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The cleanliness was excellent, and the butler service was very attentive. They also offer a 24-hour shuttle service. I would definitely recommend it to friends. It's a great place for family trips and gatherings with friends.

This is our second time choosing this hotel for our trip to Sanya. The rooms are exceptionally good, with a wide variety of room types. The private courtyard in the villa area is very distinctive. The pool water is clean, and there's a children's water slide. The kids practically lived in the pool! It's incredibly close to the beach, just a few steps away. You can even watch the sunset from the hotel. The service is excellent; as an established hotel, their management system is mature, and the service is top-notch. I heard they're planning renovations this year, which I'm really looking forward to. We'll definitely be choosing Coconut Grove Sea View Resort for our third visit to Sanya.

Getting to West Island, Tianya Haijiao, and the city center is also a breeze. The room was clean and had a refreshing, trendy 'Instagrammable' vibe. But the real highlight was the service – our butler messaged us beforehand to ask about our arrival time, and even brought us water late at night. The front desk also had straw hats available to borrow for free, which were perfect for photos!
