Facilities: Very good, good quality. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Nice surroundings, very close to West Lake, about a ten-minute walk. Service: Excellent. It's an old hotel, but the facilities are well-maintained. Overall, it's a very good experience with high value for money. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Staying at the Huzhou Giraffe Manor Hotel during the May Day holiday felt like stepping into a fairytale secret garden in a bamboo forest 🌿. Our individual wooden cabin was nestled among the trees, and opening the window revealed a sea of green. The air was incredibly fresh and rejuvenating, filled with negative ions. The most unforgettable part was having breakfast with the giraffes; those gentle creatures would lean over to ask for food, making the interaction truly special. The travel photography service was also incredibly thoughtful. The photographer captured natural moments, turning the bamboo forest, the cute animals, and our laughter into stunning photos. It truly maximized our holiday happiness!

I highly recommend this hotel for family trips to Hangzhou with kids! The location is a huge plus – it's super close to West Lake, just a leisurely stroll away. No need for long commutes, which makes traveling with children incredibly convenient. Public transportation nearby is excellent, with metro and bus stops very close, so you don't need a taxi to get anywhere. Getting around is completely hassle-free. The hotel is situated right in the Southern Song Imperial Street scenic area. Stepping out, you're immediately immersed in the charm of an ancient street, perfect for a relaxed walk with the little ones. Right next door is Damalong, offering a wide array of local specialty snacks, so you can enjoy both sightseeing and delicious food. We even tried West Lake Fish in Vinegar Gravy, and both my child and I found it quite palatable, not as exaggeratedly unappealing as some online reviews suggest [😂][😂][😂]. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the room is cozy and comfortable, making for a very reassuring stay. The biggest surprise was the hotel's smart robot, which can deliver items and food. My child was super fascinated, chasing it around and absolutely loving it, adding a lot of fun to our trip. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was quick. The breakfast selection was also rich, with mild porridges, pastries, and fruits suitable for children. Overall, our family trip experience was perfect: convenient transportation, close proximity to West Lake, hassle-free outings with the kids, and interactive robots. We'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next family trip to Hangzhou!

This B&B is located inside the scenic area, and our room faced the street. We heard tricycles and electric scooters driving by all night, and the sound of their wheels on the cobblestone street was incredibly disruptive, making it impossible to sleep. Perhaps the rooms facing the water would be quieter. This completely shattered my perception of the peaceful and gentle ambiance I'd experienced in other Jiangnan water towns like Wuzhen and Nanxun. The hotel's location is otherwise decent, about a 3-4 minute walk from Sujia Alley. We arrived by bus from Wuzhen, and walking from the visitor center was quite inconvenient. While the room was generally clean and tidy, there were mosquitoes, and quite large ones at that. They did provide disposable towels, which was a nice touch. The proprietress at the front desk kindly helped us carry our luggage upstairs, and the hotel helped us purchase tickets for 70 yuan.

Exceptional facilities and service! This is a garden-style hotel with an antique charm, conveniently located near all the attractions! Since I booked during the off-peak season, the price felt like an absolute steal (I checked the original price for May Day, and even that would have been perfectly acceptable for the level of service and facilities). The driver who greeted me and took me directly to my room was so enthusiastic and thoughtful. He even gave friendly advice on nearby routes and recommended places to visit. I didn't have to lift a finger with my luggage – even some five-star hotels in Shanghai don't offer such attentive service these days. I absolutely loved that uncle! The staff at the lobby for luggage storage on April 29th and for check-out were also very considerate, hats off to them! These service staff definitely deserve a bonus. 😃 Now, about the facilities. The room was spotless, and all the amenities were new. I booked the Fushan Yue room, which is close to the park, so there might be small insects in summer. But I personally love this natural and refreshing feel; as soon as I saw the room, I felt relaxed and comfortable. The bathroom and shower room were also well-maintained and very clean! I'm usually particular about beds and often can't sleep well in new places, but the bedding at Shaoxing Hotel was just right – neither too soft nor too firm, perfect for someone like me who's tired from traveling. The choice of high or low pillows was good, as some places have pillows that are too high. I wish there was a medium-sized pillow option. 😃 The low pillow was very comfortable, just needed a tiny bit more height. Overall, it was very comfortable and quiet; I slept soundly until morning (I didn't even close the window, just the screen, which shows how quiet and pleasant it was). The entire hotel is quite large; if it hadn't been raining heavily, I would have explored more. It's almost like a tourist attraction in itself, with its rich garden design. Backing onto Fushan Park, it's also worth a stroll, and the Feiyi Tower looks cool at night. I'll definitely book Shaoxing Hotel again next time I visit, and I'll recommend it to all my friends coming to Shaoxing. I wish Shaoxing Hotel continued prosperity and all its staff health and happiness!

Title: A Fantastic Family Stay Right on West Lake! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently stayed at this hotel with our family, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The location is absolutely unbeatable—right on West Lake. We could easily step out for a peaceful walk along the water anytime. The hotel is also within walking distance of Hubin Pedestrian Street and the metro station, which made exploring the city so easy. After a day of sightseeing, it was great to come back to such a clean and spacious room—plenty of space for the whole family to relax. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. And the hotel’s generosity was such a nice surprise—free popcorn, drinks, and coffee in the lobby made our kids (and us!) very happy. We honestly loved our stay and will definitely be back next time we visit Hangzhou. Highly recommend this hotel for families who want comfort, convenience, and a warm atmosphere.

The minimalist design of Xitang Yuanzhu HOTEL is absolutely charming. The predominantly white color scheme gives it a fresh and elegant feel. The hotel's rooftop garden is a photographer's dream, with many unique backdrops perfect for snapping some great photos. The location is excellent, right within the Xitang scenic area and quite central. Although it's close to the bar street, it's surprisingly quiet, so the soundproofing is pretty good. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. For families traveling with pets, this place is incredibly accommodating! You can bring your pets, and there's no cleaning fee. The room even has a small patio; while not huge, it's perfect for a little dog to wander around in.

Our family stayed for one night at the Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort during our vacation, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel boasts a prime location right by Taihu Lake, offering a tranquil and beautiful environment that ensures a peaceful and comfortable stay. The room's facilities were well-maintained, clean, and neatly arranged, providing a high level of comfort. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of fresh ingredients and tasted quite good, definitely living up to resort standards. Overall, everything was very satisfying. The only minor drawback was the in-room television. The TV size was a bit small, and it didn't support screen mirroring or on-demand movie services, which meant slightly less entertainment for the kids traveling with us. In summary, it was a highly recommended stay with great value for money, perfect for family vacations. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we have the chance.

I chose this hotel because of its professional and personalized service. This time, I stayed at the Shaoxing One Thousand and One Nights Courtyard Hotel. I traveled from Shanghai to Shaoxing and arrived before 11 AM, but they still arranged for me to check in. The front desk staff enthusiastically recommended local delicacies and attractions. Any issues I encountered during my stay were promptly resolved. On my last day, they kindly reminded me about the check-out time, and even offered us bottled water as we were leaving. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, but the service is even more attentive and thoughtful. The hotel is also within walking distance to various attractions, and the breakfast was delicious. It was a very pleasant stay overall.

GGuest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Thank you very much, Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou, for helping to create an amazing lifetime memory.

Jjacqueline0801The hotel rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are quite large. Each room has a balcony, and the rooftop garden offers views of West Lake, Baoshi Mountain, and the Baochu Pagoda. The breakfast is abundant and delicious. The location is excellent, very close to Bai Causeway, and the Wulin Night Market is right next door. The subway station is also nearby, making it convenient for getting around. Overall, it offers great value for money.

AAnonymous UserOverall, this was a good stay with some truly special aspects, but also a few areas that could be improved. The hotel is quite remote, which makes it feel very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature such as the lake, forest, and mountains. Even though we visited other viewpoints around Qiandao Lake, this location felt more special because of its quiet and secluded setting. The hotel itself feels like a destination, with scenic viewpoints, a garden with a lake, a cave, and even trekking trails to explore. The garden area includes a swan lake, which is a nice idea. However, the swans are kept in a very small netted space. It does not look great visually and feels restrictive for the animals, which took away from the experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that was not too soft or too hard. Sound insulation was excellent, which made for great sleep. I also requested a firmer pillow, and it was provided quickly. The lake view room upgrade was a highlight. The view was stunning and made it hard to leave the room. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend booking a lake view room. The layout was nice, with both a balcony and a window view. The thick frame dividing the view slightly affected the overall feel, but it was not a major issue. The bathtub was also a nice addition. Cleaning was good overall. The AC did not work very well during the hot midday hours, although it was fine at other times of the day. Facilities such as the gym, yoga room, pool, and game room were nice additions. However, they felt quite standard for a five-star hotel, and I have experienced better quality in similar properties. One great feature was the free Tesla charging, but this was not communicated at all. We only discovered it by chance, which is a missed opportunity as it is a strong benefit. Breakfast was acceptable but not at the expected level. The coffee and bakery were the weakest parts. Ordering is done via QR code instead of in person, which felt a bit impersonal for a luxury hotel atmosphere. Service during breakfast also felt a bit off, as staff seemed focused on their tasks and were not very proactive in guiding or prioritizing guests, which made the experience feel less warm and not the kindest. Service was generally kind and friendly, but inconsistent at times. Some staff could benefit from additional training, as not everyone followed typical five-star service standards such as greeting guests or offering priority. Another disappointment was the welcome fruit, which was included in our package but not provided on arrival. After we asked, a staff member came carrying items for multiple rooms in a bag and handed us just one apple and one peach. This felt unprofessional although something very small. Another point worth noting is that the hotel was originally booked as an InterContinental, but about 1-2 weeks before arrival it was no longer part of the brand (somehow on Trip.com it still says intercontinental). Not sure if this impacted the experience, but overall it did feel slightly below what you might expect from that level, even though the stay itself was still enjoyable. The hotel also offers free Tesla charging, which is a great feature. However, this was not communicated at all during or before our stay, and we only discovered it by chance. This feels like a missed opportunity, as it is a strong benefit that could add significant value for guests I did not try lunch or dinner, so I cannot comment on those. Overall, this is a very peaceful and unique stay with amazing natural surroundings and a beautiful lake view. However, some service and operational details need improvement to truly match a luxury standard.

GGuest UserMy expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular. The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite. The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent. Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.

AAnonymous UserMy friends and I came to Naked Stables for a vacation, and the overall experience was truly excellent. We traveled with our child and pet, and I was initially worried about the inconvenience of bringing a pet. However, after checking in, all my concerns vanished. The hotel is incredibly pet-friendly; they had prepared a pet bed, toys, and pee pads in the room, and we could even purchase pet meals. Many details were very thoughtfully arranged. Moreover, pet-friendly facilities and arrangements were evident everywhere in the hotel, making traveling with a pet very easy and enjoyable. The hotel also offers a rich variety of activities, ensuring that both adults and children can find something suitable and never get bored. The surrounding natural scenery is beautiful, and the environment is very comfortable, perfect for both relaxation and for children to connect with nature. The staff were all very warm, patient, and attentive, making us feel very welcome from check-in throughout our entire stay. This trip was genuinely fun for adults, children, and pets alike; none of us wanted to go home. It's rare to find a resort that satisfies the entire family, including pets, so completely. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

PPweshiThe Hilton hotel is a spacious and family friendly hotel. It is clean and well maintained with friendly staff. When you first arrive you feel welcomed and treated warmly by staff members. They are patient and offer to carry your things and help you navigate the very design of the hotel. This is not to any detriment to the hotel itself but merely a result of the many offerings it has such as a hall for hosting private functions and events, 2 restaurants and the recreational area. This was my first time staying at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean with a nice shower and toilet. Our room was graciously upgraded and it came with a bath tub and lake view. The two restaurants are Taste (Asian cuisine) and Eatzy café and bistro. The meals in Taste are generally delicious and packed full of flavour. We ate there twice and while it was excellent I would say it was a bit pricey. The portion sizes are decent but there are some inconsistencies with the quality. That I believe was either due to them being very busy when we revisited. The venue and decor are quite beautiful. The staff at the restaurant are very accommodating and friendly always willing to help. There is a sauna and steam room available in the men and women's locker room for the pool area. Only the indoor pool was available at the time and it was fine though I wished the outdoor pool and bar was open. Sadly it was closed indefinitely. The hotel has some comfortable areas outside to relax around and enjoy. I also noticed little things like extra towels not available in the change room and within the 40 minutes of using the sauna, I wasn't able to ask for a new towel to shower. There is a little beach volleyball area with white sand and shaded cabana like areas for your family and friends to sit and enjoy. Just below the hotel is a Waterpark which has many activities like wakeboarding, paddle and electric boats and more. I felt that it was far too pricey per person. As hotel guest, there should have been a discount. It seems at every turn there is a charge for little things around the hotel that makes it a bit disheartening at times.

BbingFirst, the positives: The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the subway, making it super convenient to get to West Lake and Wulin Night Market! Although the facilities aren't brand new and the room isn't huge, the bed is very wide, which was comfortable even with a child. The breakfast was also good, especially the restaurant staff who were all very enthusiastic. Now, for an unpleasant experience during my first visit to Hangzhou: The night before, I booked a car from Hangzhou to Wuzhen via Trip.com. The estimated fare was 200 yuan (about 50 yuan more expensive than other platforms). The next morning at 10 AM, the driver arrived punctually at the Zhejiang Hotel lobby to pick us up. After we got in the car, the driver said that in addition to the booked fare, we needed to pay an extra 50 yuan for the return trip! The driver had contacted me the previous evening after I booked the car at 6 PM, but he hadn't mentioned any return trip fee then. This led to an argument with the driver. He claimed it was standard practice, while I argued he should have clarified it when he called me the day before (I purposefully booked via Trip.com knowing it was more expensive than private cars, precisely to avoid such haggling!). At this point, a man in a white shirt from Zhejiang Hotel (I'm not sure if he was security or a bellhop) came over and shooed us away, telling us not to cause a disturbance! I want to ask this employee: when a hotel guest encounters a problem, shouldn't you be helping to resolve it? What right do you have to drive away customers? What was your motive and intention? Are you and the driver from the same hometown? Trying to scare out-of-town tourists? Is this how your Zhejiang culture and tourism department teaches you to trick visitors? Then, a man in a suit came out, who I later learned was the manager of Zhejiang Hotel. And indeed, the manager's professionalism was evident! He first calmed us down and explained that such situations happen often and that the driver should have informed us in advance. This was precisely my point; I booked the car a day in advance to avoid any last-minute complications! I don't want to take advantage of anyone, and if the driver had told me the day before, I would have had many other options. Therefore, I urge the hotel to retrain that man in the white shirt! He was severely derelict in his duty and cast a bad light on the hotel!

✨xintiantian✨This was my first time in Wuzhen, and since I was driving and unfamiliar with parking, I tried to contact the hotel in advance, but couldn't get through – their phone just kept ringing. I reached out to Trip.com customer service, and they responded quickly, sending me directions and the exact location of the parking lot, which made navigation much easier. Big thanks to Trip.com! When I arrived at the Wuzhen customer service center at 1 PM, the parking lot was almost full, and the roads were closed off. I circled the scenic area entrance twice, unable to find a spot. I must give a special shout-out to the traffic police officer at the main entrance of Wuzhen; he was incredibly accommodating and moved the closed road barrier for me, allowing me to enter the multi-story parking garage smoothly. For first-time visitors like me, who struggle to find parking at the main gate, this officer's humane management was truly a lifesaver! Once I got to the hotel, all my previous frustrations vanished. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; I honestly think it's the best-located hotel I've ever chosen for a trip, making it super easy to explore Wuzhen. Although the room wasn't huge, it was spotlessly clean! The facilities were also well-thought-out, and even the cups on the vanity were beautiful!

Ffang8667This guesthouse is nestled in a mountain ravine, surrounded by bamboo groves. Both its exterior and room design are truly unique. It features a Japanese-style tea room and even a pastoral party setting. The rooms are largely decorated with natural wood, and with ceilings over 3 meters high, they offer a great sense of spaciousness, echoing the surrounding mountains and bamboo forests. The bed was soft and very comfortable to sleep in. The breakfast selection was also thoughtfully prepared. The common areas are arranged in a relaxed yet cozy way, just like a large living room at home, and there are plenty of entertainment facilities. Staying here, far from the hustle and bustle, taking a stroll through the mountain bamboo forest, sipping tea, and simply relaxing, feels wonderful. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.
