The biggest advantage of this hotel is the exceptional service from the staff. They made us feel right at home. They proactively upgraded our room, asked about our needs and sleeping preferences, and even informed us about potential construction noise nearby, offering good alternative solutions. The room itself was spacious with a good layout. Overall, I was very satisfied. It would be even better if the hardware facilities could be further upgraded. Five stars.

The hotel is massive. As soon as you step inside, the spacious and bright lobby immediately catches your eye, with its grand and elegant decor. The service truly lives up to its five-star rating; from the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and professional attitudes. They proactively helped us with our luggage and guided us through the check-in process, which was efficient and seamless. Room service was also excellent; just a call to customer service, and staff would arrive promptly with a friendly demeanor. I also have to mention the hotel's environment. The landscaping is outstanding, with lush trees providing ample shade. We could access the South Lake scenic area just by scanning our room key, which my parents particularly loved. They couldn't stop praising it, saying they felt very comfortable staying here. Overall, whether it's the size, service, or environment, Nanhu Hotel is definitely worth the price. I'll certainly bring my parents back again; each season should offer a different experience.

The B&B has a lovely Japanese aesthetic, very comfortable and relaxing 🤭🤭. The owner was incredibly warm and friendly, even helping me with my luggage 🤭. Breakfast was a local specialty, beautifully presented and looked absolutely delicious 🤤🤤. The B&B's location is also fantastic, just a five-minute walk to the West Shed scenic area 👍.

The room was very clean, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. They helped us with our luggage to the sightseeing cart and up to our room. When we checked in, they even gave us a complimentary bowl of mung bean and lily sweet soup, which was delicious! Since we had to leave early, the owner thoughtfully prepared breakfast for us in advance, and it was really tasty. They also gave us a small gift for the Dragon Boat Festival. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and the view from the room was excellent too. Highly recommend!

This five-star bay hotel is right next to West Lake, only about 300 meters away, making it super convenient to walk there. The Broken Bridge and Lingering Snow (Duanqiao Canxue) are also very close, and transportation to other attractions is excellent. The room hygiene is good, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. I've stayed here for two days already and extended for another day today. The experience has been great, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

This trip back to China, our family was most looking forward to our visit to Wuzhen. What truly made this journey complete wasn't just the charming scenery of the Jiangnan water town, but also the unexpected warmth we encountered at the Tong'an Hotel. Upon arrival, it was already evening. We were greeted by the friendly Zhang Qian. When she learned we were only staying one night, and due to an oversight on my part when booking – I only ordered two adult breakfasts for two adults and four children – she immediately spoke with her superior without hesitation and helped us add breakfast for the two children. Although it wasn't a lot of money, that thoughtful gesture of putting herself in the guests' shoes instantly melted away my travel fatigue. Afterwards, Ren Feixiong escorted us to our room. Seeing that it was our first time visiting Wuzhen, he proactively added us on WeChat and patiently offered sightseeing suggestions. His tireless sincerity made our second day exploring the water town relaxed and wonderful. Upon departure, Zhang Qian and Qian Wei helped us smoothly check out and store our luggage. But what moved me the most was that moment just as we were leaving – Zhang Qian called out to me and handed me a box of Gugao Biscuits, a specialty of Wuzhen, saying, ”Sister, I have a small gift for you 🥰” The gift may have been small, but the sentiment was profound. At that moment, I actually felt a little choked up. In just one day, we encountered so much beauty and kindness. Next time we come to Wuzhen, we will definitely choose Tong'an Hotel again – because it offers not only beautiful scenery but also a heartwarming human touch that stays with you.

Arrived in Wuzhen around noon, but didn't rush into the scenic area. First, I found a highly-rated restaurant on Dianping and enjoyed some white fish and glutinous rice wrapped in zong leaves with pork. The owner even gave us some complimentary fermented rice balls, which were delicious! After lunch, we checked into our accommodation within the scenic area. It was super convenient as a car took us directly to the entrance of Wangjingli. The room's decor had a touch of old Shanghai style! I absolutely loved the breakfast; it was a really pleasant meal. Strolling around the gardens within the complex was incredibly relaxing too.

★★★★★ Exceptional Nature-Luxury Escape Giraffe Manor Hotel Huzhou Senior Travel Writer TripAdvisor Review Stayed: 21 June 2026 Giraffe Manor Hotel Huzhou is one of those rare destinations that transcends the definition of a hotel. It is not simply accommodation it is an immersive, carefully curated encounter between nature, wildlife, and refined hospitality. From arrival, the atmosphere is immediately calming. The resort is set within an extensive natural landscape of bamboo groves, lakes, landscaped gardens and forested walkways. The scale of the environment creates a genuine sense of escape, where the noise of the outside world fades and is replaced by birdsong, greenery, and open space. The design philosophy of the resort is clearly rooted in harmony with nature. Buildings are low profile and discreet, allowing the surrounding environment to remain the dominant visual experience. Natural materials, open sightlines and soft architectural tones create a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors. Our accommodation, the Deluxe Hideaway Room, was outstanding. Spacious, elegantly finished and exceptionally well maintained, it offered both comfort and privacy. The highlight was the view lush greenery directly outside the room, giving the impression of being fully immersed in a private forest retreat. It was quiet, restorative and perfectly suited for a relaxed escape. The signature experience breakfast with giraffes is genuinely unforgettable. Watching giraffes move gracefully into view while enjoying breakfast creates a moment that feels almost surreal. There is a calm, unhurried quality to the interaction between guests and animals that makes the experience feel natural rather than staged. It is rare to find a hospitality concept that delivers such emotional impact in such a subtle and respectful way. The breakfast offering itself was excellent. A generous and thoughtfully prepared selection of dishes ensured both variety and quality, with fresh ingredients and careful presentation. Dining here is not rushed; instead, it encourages guests to slow down and fully absorb the environment around them. Beyond the giraffe experience, the resort reveals itself as a full-scale nature and leisure destination. Walking routes, landscaped outdoor areas and wildlife encounters create a dynamic environment suitable for families, couples, and travellers seeking restorative time in nature. It is a place where exploration and relaxation coexist effortlessly. Service throughout the stay was consistently warm, attentive and professional. Staff demonstrated genuine hospitality, with a level of care that felt natural rather than rehearsed. Every interaction contributed to a strong sense of welcome and comfort. A special acknowledgment must be made to General Manager Wenjun Zhou. The level of cohesion and consistency across the entire property reflects clear leadership and vision. Under Mr Zhou’s guidance, the resort operates with a strong sense of identity and attention to detail. The seamless guest experience, well-maintained environment, and high service standards all point to a leadership approach that values both excellence and authenticity. What makes this property truly remarkable is not just its luxury, but its emotional resonance. It creates moments that feel meaningful—whether for families sharing breakfast with wildlife, or travellers reconnecting with nature in a peaceful setting. Giraffe Manor Hotel Huzhou is distinctive, well-executed, and genuinely memorable. It stands apart as one of the most unique nature-luxury hospitality experiences available in the region. With sincere appreciation to General Manager Wenjun Zhou and the entire team for delivering a stay defined by care, creativity, and consistency. A highly recommended experience for travellers seeking something truly different from conventional luxury hotels. Gary David Senior Travel Writer (TripAdvisor)

Hangzhou is nice, full of trees and historical sites. The hotel was recommended by the trip planner. Nice cosy rooms. Spacious, and comfortable bed & pillows. There are some nice touches to the room, and the blue was quite pleasing. There is a shower & bathtub as well. Toiletries are provided. The buffet selection is quite good and quite tasty. We only stayed for 1 night. The staff did help with the bags when we arrived. Check in was seamless but they speak limited English though. Overall nice hotel and reasonably priced. Can’t comment on the location much as we used a driver. The hotel is located at the corner, about 10-15 mins from Qinghefang Street by car.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located with bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around. The room wasn't very spacious but had all the necessary amenities. On our first morning, the breakfast selection was very limited because a large group of students on a spring outing had checked in, and the hotel didn't replenish the food in a timely manner, which was a poor experience. Things were better the second day. A nice touch is that the hotel offers late-night snacks in the lobby.

GGuest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Thank you very much, Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou, for helping to create an amazing lifetime memory.

YYiluzizaiIf you're visiting Hangzhou, West Lake is a must-see, and if you're seeing West Lake, this hotel is the place to stay! It's literally right across the road from West Lake, and Wulin Night Market is just downstairs. You're practically staying at two attractions at once! Plus, every room has a balcony, and there's a large rooftop garden platform with panoramic views of West Lake and the surrounding area. The rooms are incredibly spacious; even a standard room here is easily the biggest I've ever stayed in. Seriously, for West Lake, this hotel is a no-brainer!

GGuest UserI guess I'm a loyal customer of this hotel in Xian Mountain, Qiandao Lake. I've been there twenty times, and every time I visit Qiandao Lake, I still choose this hotel. There's a unique sense of appropriateness here – they don't seem to be merely providing service, but rather 'taking care' of you, making you feel like entering the hotel truly marks the beginning of a vacation: free, comfortable, pleasant, and warm! I felt it the moment I arrived. The car had barely stopped at the entrance when the bellhop scurried over to open the car door, greeting us with a smiling 'Hello, welcome home.' After we checked in, a bellhop proactively helped us with our luggage, introducing himself as he led us to the elevator: 'If you need anything these next few days, just call the concierge. My name is Henry.' He was a bright and efficient young man with a constant smile. Just hearing him say that, and seeing his smile, made you feel like he wasn't just completing a task, but genuinely inviting you to reach out, all to put your mind at ease! On the day we checked in, I casually asked if there were any good running routes nearby and what fun things there were to do. Henry actually took the time to draw me a map, explaining the hotel's layout, where I could run, where I could cycle, where I could hike, where I could pick bayberries, and where I could eat. He even reminded me, 'Before 6:30 AM, the boardwalk is less crowded. If you like photography, you can go and take pictures of the sunrise; it’s really beautiful.' The next morning, we indeed went to the lighthouse and the camphor tree forest. When we returned, dripping with sweat, we ran into him again in the lobby. He enthusiastically asked, 'Finished your run? The weather's great today, how was it?' – just like an old friend I'd known for ages. It feels wonderful to be remembered! Another time, our group of ten went to the hotel. In the evening, he led us to chase the sunset. We walked cheerfully along the path on Xian Mountain Peninsula. He walked in front, constantly describing the surrounding scenery and sharing stories of past guests, occasionally turning back to make sure everyone was still with us. In that moment, it didn't feel like staying in a hotel; it felt more like being shown around by a local old friend, listening to him share everything about the area… The hotel is now called InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort, and everything is still as beautiful and comfortable in that resort style. The moment you step into your hotel room and open the door, the entire Qiandao Lake unfolds before your eyes. You can't help but think: 'This is exactly what I wanted!' The mist and mountain breeze intertwine, a gentle drizzle, so comfortable you don't want to move. The bedding was just the right firmness, and I swapped my pillow for a buckwheat one, sleeping soundly until my alarm went off – which is quite rare in a hotel. The breakfast restaurant is also the most extensive among similar hotels, with a vast array of dishes prepared meticulously. There were six or seven kinds of green leafy vegetables for the salad alone, and a variety of dressings. There was also a young man making fresh squeezed juice, busy but with a good-natured smile on his face all morning long… So, what does staying in a hotel mean, you ask? Is it just staying for two nights, looking at the lake, and eating fish head? Actually, it's about enjoying the service the hotel provides, not just the 'hello, thank you, sorry' routine, but feeling that someone truly cares about your feelings, your needs, and your mood! InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort doesn't feel like staying in a hotel to me; it feels more like visiting a friend's home who truly understands you. You want to go back every now and then to see your old friend and everything you hold dear! The lake view is beautiful, but what makes me want to keep returning are those warm moments I remember… The lake views will stay in our photo albums and on our phones, but those people and those moments of being treated with kindness will always remain in my heart…

GGuest UserMy expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular. The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite. The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent. Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.

AAmomaoI've wanted to visit for over ten years, and this was my first time, bringing my dog along. Right in the lobby, the hotel owner's mixed-breed dog was sprawled in the middle of the entrance, exuding a lazy, 'I'm in charge' vibe. My room was upgraded to a standalone two-bedroom unit with a terrace and living room. With two bedrooms surrounded by lush greenery, I was very pleased. The decor isn't outdated at all. I enjoyed a SPA treatment and had dinner; the crayfish was especially fresh and delicious – truly their signature dish. Xiao Yan at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and attentive; after adding her on WeChat, she kept sending me updates on hotel activities. It was also my dog's first time seeing big horses and black swans. The hotel feels like a grand estate, and I'll definitely be returning many times. I'm sure it will get even better now that Trip.com has acquired it.

GGuest UserStaying at the Hilton Riverside for two nights was a perfect vacation! The room was spacious and clean, with a balcony directly overlooking the clear lake. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and both the front desk and housekeeping staff provided thoughtful and meticulous service. The hotel has its own pier where you can try kayaking; paddling on the lake with a gentle breeze, you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Thousand Island Lake up close, which was a fantastic experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, and the accompanying swimming pool and recreation areas were well-equipped. It's a one-stop shop for dining, accommodation, and entertainment, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle. I'll definitely choose this place first for my next trip.

GGuest UserThis hotel is excellent, truly living up to its long-standing reputation. The rooms must have been renovated as they don't feel old at all. The staff are wonderful; the front desk proactively upgraded my room, and all other service personnel were very polite. The breakfast selection is rich and varied, with the desserts being a particular highlight. There's also a West Lake viewing area, so on days without rain, you can enjoy the lake view while eating. Even if it's too wet to sit outside after rain, a post-meal stroll to take in the full panorama of West Lake is still very enjoyable. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay.

__CFT010000001607****My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep. However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.
