After landing, we headed straight to the hotel, and the overall check-in experience far exceeded our expectations. The ladies at the front desk were professional and friendly. They not only helped us get a free room upgrade but also patiently assisted us in receiving numerous packages, always notifying us immediately upon arrival. Their communication was very clear and efficient, which was a huge plus. They also proactively recommended nearby night markets and restaurants, and their suggestions were really practical. The room environment was clean and comfortable, and the space was well-designed. The mattress provided excellent support; I practically fell asleep the moment I lay down. We fully recharged on our first night. Overall, from service to facilities, everything was spot on. It's the kind of hotel I'd happily return to and recommend to friends. A special thanks to the ladies at the front desk – your hard work made the start of this trip incredibly smooth! 💓

The stay was amazing! Although it’s up a mountain and requires taking a few flights of stairs, it’s absolutely worth it for the breathtaking views. The location was excellent—right near the north entrance of the ancient city, which made exploring very convenient. The hospitality was outstanding; the staff went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed, even carrying our luggage up for us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

Great location with a lovely river view. The front desk service was excellent; they even upgraded our room. Breakfast is included, and on our first day, we received a fruit platter and a welcome gift. There's a gym, but unfortunately, I didn't get to use it. They offer airport/station pickup, which is convenient. The complimentary welcome fruit platter on the first day had three very fresh fruits.

Highly recommend the Jiangye Resort Hotel! The environment is beautiful and peaceful yet still conveniently located. The rooms are clean, tidy, and the facilities are new, making for a super comfortable stay. Breakfast was nutritious and delicious, especially the freshly made rice noodles which were incredibly fragrant. The service staff were gentle and patient. Across the street is Daguan Park where you can feed seagulls – every photo you take looks like a professional shot! We'll definitely be back!

The rooms are clean and tidy, the service is warm and attentive, and the facilities are complete. The lobby has a strong artistic design. The hotel also features a hot spring, swimming pool, and gym. The environment is beautiful, a garden-style hotel with lush greenery, quiet, and within walking distance to Haigeng Dam, Yunnan Nationalities Village, and Haigeng Park. The hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety, and the Chinese restaurant serves delicious food, especially the clay pot rice. We initially planned to stay for two days but extended our stay for a few more.

I had the most beautiful stay in Jianshui. The hotel was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hospitality was fantastic, which as a solo traveller I was very grateful for. I was given tea and fruit on arrival and the laoban introduced me to all the key spots in Jianshui and sent me recommendations of food spots too. I was given a delicious breakfast with some of the best congee I've had in China! I really felt at home. The location is fantastic, right in the old town on a beautiful side street with a peaceful quaint atmosphere. The hotel also organised a taxi to take me onto my next destination - thank you both for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

This is a great hotel that's not only well-designed but also provides excellent service. The hotel offers a convenient buggy service from the lobby to all the rooms, and the concierge staff are very responsible and polite. The bedding is comfortable and clean. The bathroom design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also thoughtfully provides privacy. We were a party of three, so we requested an extra bed, which was already set up for us before we even arrived. The private hot spring pool was sanitized, making it comfortable and reassuring to use. We could even enjoy views of Dongfengyun directly from our room's hot spring – absolutely fantastic! My only minor suggestion would be to offer a wider variety of dining options. **Dongfengyun Characteristic Town Tickets and Sightseeing Car Tickets:** The hotel's sightseeing car offers direct pick-up and drop-off to the scenic area, which is very convenient. **5 Retouched Digital Photos for Travel Photography (advance booking required):** The photo quality was excellent, and the photographer was very professional 👍. The composition and pose guidance were spot-on. I loved them so much that I paid to purchase additional unedited photos.

This B&B is absolutely fantastic! The room is clean and tidy with amazing natural light. The host is warm and thoughtful, and the location is super convenient for getting around. A perfect stay! As a five-star hotel, the service was consistently excellent throughout. From the efficient and convenient check-in to the thoughtful daily room tidying, every detail was handled with care. The staff, especially Louise, was incredibly kind and professional. The room itself was spacious, elegantly decorated, and showed great attention to detail, making for a truly comfortable stay. The hotel views were absolutely stunning, offering picturesque scenes of snowy mountains and morning mist at dawn, and breathtaking sunsets in the evening – perfect for photos! The dining experience was also impressive; the authentic Yunnanese dishes for dinner were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The hotel's location is super convenient, making it easy to explore the ancient city and other attractions. It perfectly blends a serene, resort-like feel with easy access to everything. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations. I've already recommended it to friends. Definitely a five-star rating!

Starting from good things. Room with private hot spring was nice and clean and bed and bed linen was great. Despite hot spring pool was leaking and needed to refill constantly. But no problem with that if water supply is turned on and you can operate yourself with valves. Hotel staff recommended many places for eating outside. Thanks for that! We arrived before check in time and asked to spend our time near the pool area which was not problem. When I was looking for toilet then lady from shop told to me that I should go outside the territory and use toilet which is for camper van people. And it was not toilet but old school ditch. Fortunately it was cleaned. Lot of things are in real life different than in pictures what you can find in web pages. Many hot springs was closed, on site was not operating restaurants and bars. Only you can order food from app or go outside. Area is under the airplanes take off route that means in daytime lot of noise. About 6pm domestic water supply was turned off and situation lasted until our leaving next day about 11am. Hotel staff wrote that if you want to use toilet I should let them know and they will find a solution. No shower or washing. Breakfast was simple. In the breakfast area is operational coffee machine but for some reason lady behind the table told that not possible and drink cold pre brewed ice coffee? I hope that it’s not connected with lack of water supply. Machine may be filled with purified bottle water not local tap water.
