"We booked the Snow Mountain Panorama Smart Room with a View (including a fridge and air conditioning). Although we didn’t get to enjoy the panoramic mountain view because of the weather, our stay was absolutely wonderful! The warm hospitality and exceptional service from all the staff, especially Xiao He, truly exceeded our expectations. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. One of the highlights of our visit was experiencing the traditional ******* hand-churned butter tea demonstration and tasting. It was such a unique and memorable cultural experience that made our stay even more special. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang. We would definitely love to stay here again!"

"THE BEST HOTEL WE'VE EVER STAYED AT 😩❤️❤️ Our plan was to stay one night in Shangri-La and we made THE BEST decision booking this hotel. They provided pick up and drop off service from the railway station and the car was very comfortable for us 4 people. The butler waited for us right outside the station and greeted us with a smile. He helped us with the bags and drove us to the hotel. The hotel was only a few minutes away from the station and when we arrived, the staff gave us each the ******* scarf as a welcome gift. They explained everything in english and added us to a wechat group with all the staffs so we can ask anything in the group through wechat right away. The room was BIG. Was luxurious and very high tech. and DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE VIEWS 😭😭😭 The view from the room was IMMACULATE. I COULD WATCH IT EVERYDAY. Everything was clean, new and COMFY. They have everything prepared and everything was complete. The hotel provided complimentary afternoon tea for each night and you could order any drinks you like from the rooftop cafe. The drinks were amazing and they even provided some fruits. The view from the rooftop cafe was also amazing. We had an amazing time in the cafe. There were a lot of animals roaming around the ranch of the hotel and we got to touch feed and take pictures with all of them!!! It was THE MOST MEMORABLE part of the stay! There were rabbits goats lambs alpacas yak cows pigs. All of them were roaming around freely and we could take pictures and play with them! There were also another cafe and the other side of the ranch with very good views. The ranch is filled with multiple photo spots. They prepared a few huts with cute props for us to take pictures. At night, they prepared a tea making event for us to enjoy but we didnt have any time since we went to the ancient town that night. The Didis are surprisingly easy to be found even at 11pm. When we came back to the hotel they handed us each a cup of warm yak milk for a good night sleep. We slept so comfortably and the next day, we had our delicious breakfast and they were so considerate offering us a halal version of the breakfast!! And we also had our complimentary photoshoot with the ******* cultural outfits. It was very good and we got 5 pictures for free!! We requested for a late checkout but they couldn't do it since there are other people checking in the next day. However, they instead offered another complimentary afternoon tea session!!! After checking out, we leave our bags in the hotel lobby and they handed us each a goody bag filled with snacks!!! We played a little bit more with the animals and enjoyed our last few hours in the rooftop cafe for the last time! We were so sad leaving the hotel but surely we will come again!!!"

"I checked into the Mengjing Wangyue Courtyard Hotel on August 21st, and my experience was absolutely amazing! This Chinese-style courtyard hotel, tucked away next to the Jinma Biji Archway on Kunming's Nanping Pedestrian Street, makes you feel relaxed the moment you step in. With its two courtyards, arhat pine bonsai, ancient well, and fish pond, even the air carries the scent of Pu'er tea – it perfectly balances tranquility with its bustling surroundings. The room features a black and white new Chinese style. The bedding was clean and soft, with yellow throw pillows and a bed runner adding just the right touch. The bathroom has a wet and dry separation, and all the fixtures have a brass finish – a detail-lover's dream! The biggest surprise was breakfast: freshly cooked Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles with a rich broth and a wide variety of toppings. The front desk staff, a few young ladies, were incredibly warm and helpful. They not only assisted with luggage and recommended local delicacies but also thoughtfully suggested old-fashioned snack shops nearby, giving clear directions. The hotel's public area also offers free refreshments and various experiences. Spending an evening in the courtyard, sipping Dianhong tea and watching the fish swim, felt like traveling back to the slow pace of old Kunming. The location is also unbeatable. It's a 6-minute walk to the Jinma Biji Archway, and Ri Jin Lou is right across the street, making it a one-stop shop for exploring, eating, and taking photos. Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely stay here again – it's not that other hotels are struggling, it's just that this one perfectly balances ”local culture” and ”comfortable experience”!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right within the ancient city, making it convenient to go anywhere. The hotel environment is very comfortable, with a small courtyard, a rooftop garden, and a dedicated reading space. The facilities are also very new. The breakfast is also very enjoyable; sometimes they serve rice noodles, other times a savory congee with粑粑 (a type of local pancake), along with corn, fruit, sweet potatoes, coffee, and more.
