After landing, we headed straight to the hotel, and the overall check-in experience far exceeded our expectations. The ladies at the front desk were professional and friendly. They not only helped us get a free room upgrade but also patiently assisted us in receiving numerous packages, always notifying us immediately upon arrival. Their communication was very clear and efficient, which was a huge plus. They also proactively recommended nearby night markets and restaurants, and their suggestions were really practical. The room environment was clean and comfortable, and the space was well-designed. The mattress provided excellent support; I practically fell asleep the moment I lay down. We fully recharged on our first night. Overall, from service to facilities, everything was spot on. It's the kind of hotel I'd happily return to and recommend to friends. A special thanks to the ladies at the front desk – your hard work made the start of this trip incredibly smooth! 💓

The owner was incredibly thoughtful and humorous; they proactively helped us with our luggage from the car and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. We had great chats, and they even predicted the next day's 'Golden Summit' (sunlight hitting the mountain peak), which totally enhanced our experience! Although the hotel is located on a mountaintop, the stunning mountain views live up to their reputation. The environment is fresh and cool, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently accessible. Our room was clean and bright overall, meticulously tidied with all necessary toiletries provided. The room layout was also perfect for a family stay, making it comfortable and reassuring. We'll definitely be back!

Great location with a lovely river view. The front desk service was excellent; they even upgraded our room. Breakfast is included, and on our first day, we received a fruit platter and a welcome gift. There's a gym, but unfortunately, I didn't get to use it. They offer airport/station pickup, which is convenient. The complimentary welcome fruit platter on the first day had three very fresh fruits.

Staying at the Jiangye Hotel was a delightful surprise! The room was spacious and bright with a well-thought-out layout and ample storage, perfect for an extended vacation. The hotel offers a free laundry room and a garment steamer, making it incredibly convenient for managing clothes while traveling. Breakfast is a set Chinese menu, nutritious and authentic, with delicious rice noodles and pastries. It's not far from the subway station, so getting around is easy, and there's a bustling snack street nearby. The staff were very responsive to all our requests, making for an absolutely fantastic experience!

This hotel by Dianchi Lake is pretty good all-around. The environment, of course, is fantastic. The open-plan lobby is very grand, and the jewelry sold in the shops reflects its upscale positioning. I even tried some Pu'er tea at the tea shop, and it was rich and fragrant. The public areas are huge. I heard there are peacocks somewhere, but I asked several staff members, and they all said they didn't know where they were, which was a bit funny. Even though I stayed for three nights, I still didn't get a chance to use the hot springs. Breakfast was quite varied, but I actually started feeling a bit of altitude sickness and couldn't eat much. The restaurant itself was a bit hard to find; I walked around for a long time on the first day trying to locate it. It would be great if the signs along the way were more detailed. It's about a 20-minute walk to Haigeng Dam by Dianchi Lake, or even 10-15 minutes if you walk quickly. The scenery along the way is beautiful, perfect for a stroll and to aid digestion.

I had the most beautiful stay in Jianshui. The hotel was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hospitality was fantastic, which as a solo traveller I was very grateful for. I was given tea and fruit on arrival and the laoban introduced me to all the key spots in Jianshui and sent me recommendations of food spots too. I was given a delicious breakfast with some of the best congee I've had in China! I really felt at home. The location is fantastic, right in the old town on a beautiful side street with a peaceful quaint atmosphere. The hotel also organised a taxi to take me onto my next destination - thank you both for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Our stay in this luxury bedroom suite was a memorable experience, largely due to the exceptional accommodations. The suite itself was nothing short of spectacular—incredibly spacious and warmly appointed. The layout was impeccably designed, featuring a foyer, a living area, a comfortable bedroom, and a walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom was a highlight, with a separate water closet, a vanity area with a deep-soaking bathtub, and a separate, spacious double shower room. The private outdoor sitting area that led to a huge, rejuvenating hot spring was the crown jewel of the suite. It's important to note the location within the Dong Feng Yun Scenic Area. A significant benefit is that the hotel provides the scenic area entrance ticket and transport to and from the gate, which is excellent. However, its setting means it is quite far from Jianshui's Old Town and other key locations. This can be inconvenient when you wish to visit other spots or find dining options outside the hotel. A major logistical issue we encountered was with return trips. When trying to get back to the hotel, most taxi drivers requested a top-up payment, as they would have to return to the city center without a passenger. Service at the hotel was generally good; the staff were prompt and attentive upon our arrival and throughout our stay. However, we noted a noticeable drop in attentiveness during the checkout process. A minor point to note is the centralized A/C system, which meant we couldn't control the room temperature individually. That said, the provision of a standing fan was a thoughtful and effective solution. The food at the hotel's restaurant was acceptable, though it didn't quite match the exceptional standard of the suite itself. Overall, this is a truly magnificent property for the space and privacy it offers, but its remote location requires careful planning and extra budget for transportation.

The hotel is comfortable with functional bed and room heater provided. The location is close to didi pickup point. The hotel is close to the ancient town but you need to climb up and down a little bit. The host was very nice and respectful to us. He can help to carry the luggage to the hotel and always ask us if we require anything.

It's like the hotel set up its home right in the park! Even in the winter of 2026 in Lijiang, walking along the lush green paths, with the leafy courtyards bathed in warm sunshine, gives you a refreshing feeling~ There are also three-month-old alpacas and miniature horses that come over for a cuddle, they're so soft you just can't resist petting them! Staying here is so healing and cozy, filling your winter vacation with pure happiness~ Kail made the check-in quick and also introduced many activities.

Starting from good things. Room with private hot spring was nice and clean and bed and bed linen was great. Despite hot spring pool was leaking and needed to refill constantly. But no problem with that if water supply is turned on and you can operate yourself with valves. Hotel staff recommended many places for eating outside. Thanks for that! We arrived before check in time and asked to spend our time near the pool area which was not problem. When I was looking for toilet then lady from shop told to me that I should go outside the territory and use toilet which is for camper van people. And it was not toilet but old school ditch. Fortunately it was cleaned. Lot of things are in real life different than in pictures what you can find in web pages. Many hot springs was closed, on site was not operating restaurants and bars. Only you can order food from app or go outside. Area is under the airplanes take off route that means in daytime lot of noise. About 6pm domestic water supply was turned off and situation lasted until our leaving next day about 11am. Hotel staff wrote that if you want to use toilet I should let them know and they will find a solution. No shower or washing. Breakfast was simple. In the breakfast area is operational coffee machine but for some reason lady behind the table told that not possible and drink cold pre brewed ice coffee? I hope that it’s not connected with lack of water supply. Machine may be filled with purified bottle water not local tap water.
