"Stayed at the Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel, May Fourth Square branch, on June 6th. I booked a two-night stay in a deluxe king room via the Trip.com app. Upon check-in, I was lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade to a king room with a sea view. Many thanks to the gentleman who handled my check-in.
**Location**: Just a few minutes' walk from May Fourth Square and right next to MixC shopping mall. A bus stop is only 3 minutes away from the entrance. Very convenient for getting around and dining.
**Room**: The hygiene was excellent, and they provided welcome cookies and drinks. The only minor drawback was that the soundproofing was a little lacking. However, considering the cleanliness, service, and location, this is a negligible issue.
**Breakfast**: There was a wide variety of options, probably enough to satisfy everyone's taste. Personally, I found it quite delicious.
I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Qingdao."

"An absolutely amazing stay that exceeded my expectations! The hotel is conveniently located directly across from Yantai Station, making it super easy to get around. Yantai Mountain, the trestle bridge, and Moon Bay are all just a 20-minute bus ride away, or even walkable. The hotel itself is brand new, and I absolutely loved the decor – it perfectly suited my taste. Breakfast was fantastic too, with a generous serving time from 7 AM to 11 AM, which allowed for a much-needed lie-in. The room was spacious and well-equipped, even featuring a smart assistant. They had construction happening downstairs, but the hotel thoughtfully posted a notice and even coordinated with the contractors about working hours. They also upgraded us to a higher floor to minimize noise disturbance, though honestly, I didn't hear any noise during my stay. When checking out, I was in a bit of a rush to get back, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing me a late check-out. The service was truly exceptional. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance!"

In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Qingdao hotel features parking on site. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"We arrived at the apartment quite late, around 1am, feeling exhausted. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a staff member with a rather rude attitude, which left us with a poor first impression.
The apartment is spacious and can comfortably accommodate five of us. However, it is visibly aged, with noticeable wear and tear in several areas. The sea view from the window is pleasant, although it is not a full 180-degree view as it is partially blocked by another tower. Cutlery was not provided in the unit and had to be requested from the front desk, which was a bit inconvenient.
Nevertheless, the service is generally good. A robot delivers meal orders directly to the unit, and parcels can also be received at the lobby, although guests need to collect them personally. On two occasions when I had to leave early and was unable to attend breakfast, I requested a takeaway option, and they kindly prepared boiled eggs and fruits, which was much appreciated.
The location is strategic and within walking distance to May Fourth Station, MIXC Mall, and May Fourth Square. Overall, it was a good stay despite a few shortcomings."

The hotel's location is superb, being close to May Fourth Square, which made getting around and sightseeing incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was effective, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The room amenities were complete, and the smart room controls were easy to use. The sanitization and disinfection were done very thoroughly. The front desk and housekeeping staff were attentive and friendly, responding promptly to any requests. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options, and the sea view was expansive. It's great value for money, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Qingdao.

AAnonymous UserBefore leaving Beijing, I booked the Nishi Haitai Resort Hotel on Ctrip. Although the online review was only 4.1, I still firmly chose this hotel. Later, it was confirmed that my choice was absolutely correct. The hotel is good in all aspects and must be given 100 points. 1. The hotel is in a good location. You can watch the sunrise while lying on the bed, face the sea, blow the sea breeze and listen to the sound of the waves. The hotel has a private beach. The elevator goes to the B1 floor and you can walk to the lighthouse, Lily Bay, Children's Palace, Sakura Lake, Seaside Park, etc. along the beach. You can also take the bus No. 117 or No. 289 in front of the door. Bus No. 117 goes directly to Huaxing Bridge, a popular check-in place. 2. The hotel lobby is magnificent and unique, with the most distinctive various bear toys, which are posed differently every day. In addition, you can watch the sea from the public platform on each floor of the hotel, and there is a children's playground on each floor, which is suitable for walking babies. 3. The hotel has a variety of breakfasts, roasted tobacco potatoes, meat sauce buns, and fried dough sticks must be tasted, and different fruits are served every day. Lunch and dinner can also be served at the hotel, the dishes taste good and the price is reasonable. 4. There are churches, sun umbrellas, and rest cabins on the beach of the hotel, which is warm and romantic. 4. It takes 10 minutes by taxi from Rongcheng High-speed Railway Station to the hotel. I originally planned to stay for 3 days, but then I extended my stay for 2 days. I strongly recommend friends who go to Rongcheng to stay at Nishi Haitai Resort Hotel, which is definitely worth experiencing and you will definitely linger after the experience.

AAnonymous UserThe views of Yuan Lake are fantastic, and you can even spot the high-speed train. My partner and I were very impressed with the Chinese restaurant's dishes. The 'Old Chef Cabbage' brought back childhood memories of home-cooked meals, and the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was quite authentic, though the batter was a bit thick. The sour radish and tripe dish was a great appetizer.
The only minor drawback was that during the May Day holiday, there were a lot of families with children. The hotel's soundproofing isn't great, and the kids upstairs were running and jumping until past 10 PM. Plus, there was a persistent metallic noise coming from the ceiling.

The room was clean, spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and their attention to detail in service was impressive. The location is great, not too far from tourist attractions and conveniently close to a subway station. It offers excellent value for money. Overall, a great hotel that I highly recommend!

LLaimixiLocation: Close to the Olympic Sailing Center, Lover's Dam, and May Fourth Square, it's convenient for watching shows at the Sea Theater, all within walking distance. The dazzling night view is visible right from downstairs. It's also relatively quiet, and about a 25-30 minute drive to Qingdao Station if there's no traffic.
Facilities: The room is spacious enough for a family of 3-4, and the view outside the window is great – what you see is what you get.
Cleanliness: Pretty good. I stayed for 4 days, and the room was cleaned and tidied daily according to my requests, which was comfortable.
Service: Before check-in, a concierge contacted me on WeChat, providing proactive and enthusiastic service. They even offered fresh fruit upon arrival.
Breakfast: Available from 7:00-10:00. The taste was decent, mostly Chinese food, but the selection was limited and there was no coffee. The restaurant environment was average, a bit dim and dated.
You don't need a key card to enter the elevator, and delivery drivers can come upstairs, which has its pros and cons. The hotel's overall decor feels a bit old-fashioned and dim, showing its age.
Overall, it's still a good option, especially suitable for family travel.

66161-SevenTraveling with kids, our last stop in the city led us to this hotel, chosen based on reviews. We stayed for two nights, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service, in particular, was very thoughtful; we had transfers arranged throughout our stay, and someone proactively offered water and guidance with a smile in the lobby.
1. **Transportation**: The hotel is about 1 kilometer from the subway, which isn't ideal, but they offer shuttle services if you book in advance. On the flip side, it's very close to many popular attractions. A taxi ride usually takes about ten minutes and costs around ten yuan. I found using Didi (ride-hailing app) to be very convenient.
2. **Ambiance**: The hotel environment is also quite nice, with its own small garden and a pool. There's also a children's play area on the ground floor, most of which is free. However, we didn't get to use any of it as we were too pressed for time and had too much sightseeing to do. Our room was generally neat and clean. Although the decor is a bit older, it still felt quite tasteful. We received complimentary fruit and drinks, which were a nice touch. My package included several other amenities like photography and sauna access, but we didn't use them either.
3. **Dining**: The hotel has its own restaurant, so you can dine there or order takeout. Do note that there's a service charge at the restaurant. Breakfast was pretty standard; I was hoping for some seafood options, given it's a coastal city, but there weren't any.
4. **Service**: The soundproofing in the rooms might not be the best, possibly due to the age of the building. Under normal circumstances, it would probably be fine. However, we had the misfortune of having a crying child next door who would wail for 30 minutes to an hour at 5:30 AM and 10:30 PM. We eventually complained to the front desk, and after the manager intervened, it quieted down. So, sometimes, travel experiences also depend on luck.
5. **Feedback**: On our way back, we received a follow-up call from the hotel. Overall, we were quite satisfied. The service, cleanliness, and responsiveness were all good. I hope to visit again during the off-season, when I anticipate better room availability, as it seemed almost fully booked this time. Also, the sea-view rooms are lovely, but unfortunately, it was foggy during our stay, so we didn't get to enjoy much of the view – quite a shame!

The room itself is lovely, clean, and tidy, and you can sit inside and enjoy the view of the small bridges and flowing water outside. The staff are also incredibly friendly and energetic. Breakfast is a buffet with fruit, salad, and a wide variety of dishes. This will definitely be my top choice for hotels when I visit Jinan again!

GGuest UserChoosing this place was such a smart move, I didn't expect such great value for money during the summer holiday! The price was fair, especially considering how prime the location is around May Fourth Square, and they didn't overcharge. It's super convenient for transport, just a 5-minute walk from Fushanso Station. The room was clean and well-maintained, feeling quite new with no signs of wear.
I highly recommend their breakfast. While it might not be as extensive as a large five-star hotel, the taste was surprisingly good, and they offered new varieties every day. I always found something delicious! I particularly recommend their butter – it's incredibly rich and fragrant! The corn porridge had a creamy taste, and the roujiamo (meat burger) and stir-fried noodles were also very tasty, even foreigners were enjoying them. The oden was quite good too. I could eat four slices of toast with that butter in the morning, as shown in the picture!
Overall, highly recommended! 👍

GGuest UserThe apartment's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right above MixC Mall and the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. It's also very close to May Fourth Square, just about a ten-minute walk. The room itself is neat and cozy, with comfortable bedding and excellent cleanliness. It even comes with a kitchen, washing machine, and refrigerator, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation – all the home amenities you could ask for. The value for money is outstanding, and being on a high floor means the view is incredible. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties are very warm and helpful; the service is truly top-notch.
