Romantic Hotels in Shandong, China

I'm reviewing this quite strictly because it's priced the same as the five-star hotel next door. The room and facilities are relatively new, spacious, and very clean. The linens were all comfortable to use. The location and view are also excellent. Here are the downsides I'd like to highlight: The design details of various facilities in the room are quite average. For example, the shower head on the wall couldn't be adjusted, so you had to hold it, and it took a long time for hot water to come out. It was nice that laundry detergent pods were provided with the washing machine, but there was nowhere in the entire room to hang clothes. I suggest adding a retractable clothesline in the shower room. The room's air conditioning and ventilation system didn't work well. It felt stuffy and hot during the May Day holiday, and there was still a noticeable odor in the room, so I had to keep the windows open for ventilation throughout my stay. The TV had no free channels, everything had to be paid for, but thankfully, I could cast from my phone. The breakfast was probably on par with a three-star hotel and needs improvement.

The room is great, very clean and comfortable. Every time I come to the beach to enjoy the scenery or for a trip, I choose Wutong. Even if I don't want to go out, I can still enjoy a fantastic view from the room, which is perfect for a lazy person like me who doesn't like to move around much~ The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, are very friendly and always quick to help with any questions I have~

I traveled alone to Yantai and planned to take the 8:59 high-speed train to Rizhao from Yantai Station on May 20th. So, on May 19th, I chose to stay at the Lijing Coast Hotel (Yantai Railway Station Joy City Store), which is only about 800 meters from Yantai Station. It's also right next to the Yantai Bus Terminal, making transportation incredibly convenient. When I entered the room, I found it very clean and tidy, with a trendy and modern design! The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the shower had strong, hot water. From the bed, I could enjoy beautiful views of Yantai, and the large bed was incredibly comfortable. There was also a sofa and a coffee table. Free Wi-Fi and free parking were a plus. I could easily use my portable computer that I brought with me. Downstairs, there are many restaurants nearby, and it's not far from the beach – very convenient! On the morning of May 20th, it was pouring rain at 7:30 AM. I called a Didi (ride-hailing service), and even with waiting and traffic, it took only 20 minutes to get to Yantai Station. The hotel also has a ground-level parking lot right at the entrance, so the car could pull up directly to the lobby. The lobby staff proactively helped me with my luggage, and I didn't get wet at all before getting into the car. Arriving at Yantai Station, I felt so lucky I had chosen to stay at the Lijing Coast Hotel! I will definitely choose it again next time I visit Yantai!

Seriously recommend this hotel! Honestly, the price is just astounding 🥹. The facilities are new, the service is excellent, and it's close to the beach, making it super convenient for getting around. Driving to any destination is a breeze. Weihai is simply amazing! This was the most satisfying hotel during our entire 7-day trip!

For our last night, we chose this hotel again, opting for a sea view king room. The main reason was the excellent service, which is a huge plus when traveling with children. **Facilities:** This particular room's facilities were a bit old-fashioned; the furniture clearly showed its age and had some damage. The bathroom was even more cramped than in other room types, and the sink was very low, almost like it was designed for children. However, the overall room space was very generous. I think this room's bathroom is definitely in need of a renovation. **Hygiene:** Hygiene is a hallmark of this hotel; their attention to detail is superb! The best thing about this room was the expansive sea view, which also included some mountain scenery. **Environment:** It's in a prime location with convenient transportation. **Service:** The service here always deserves direct praise. The doormen, front desk staff, and breakfast area staff are all fantastic. Their employees pay great attention to detail. For example, when I took my child downstairs to look for something, he wasn't wearing shoes. On our way back, seeing the carpet, I let him run, not paying much attention myself since it was a bit chilly and rainy in Qingdao that day. But Room Service Auntie #19 noticed immediately and quickly went to find children's slippers for him. It's truly a reassuring place to stay!

The hotel is newly renovated with excellent, convenient, and smart facilities. What was most heartwarming was the welcome music playing when we entered the room. The cleanliness was impeccable. The environment is beautiful, and the decor is very thoughtful. Both the interior and exterior are refreshing and unique. The staff were all great. They helped carry our luggage to the room, and because we had to wait a bit for our room, they even gave us the largest available one. Overall, we were very satisfied.

This stay was absolutely delightful! The guesthouse looked exactly like the pictures. The location was incredibly convenient, less than a ten-minute walk to the subway station. The best surprise was the host's recommendations for local specialty foods – every single one was a hit! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting.

The room was decent, and the facilities were fine too. It was quite convenient to get to the hotel from the airport. A big shout-out to their airport pick-up service – it was truly excellent! I arrived at the airport at 11:35 PM, and because there were a lot of us, the hotel specially arranged a large bus.

The Grand Metropark Hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to all of Jinan's famous attractions. Being a high-rise, its top-floor revolving restaurant offers stunning views of the Jiefang Pavilion, Chaoran Tower, Daming Lake, and Qianfo Mountain. The elevated position also means street noise doesn't reach the rooms, making them incredibly quiet. The hotel service is also very good. Our room came with 10 bottles of mineral water and a welcome fruit platter. The room itself is spacious, with a completely separate bedroom and bathroom area. The bathtub, shower, sink, and toilet occupy a large space, truly reflecting the essence of a five-star hotel. The front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, was exceptional. On our first day, we arrived early, and she encouraged us to go sight-seeing first, even kindly giving us directions to Qianfo Mountain. When we returned, our luggage had already been placed in our room. After check-out, she even gave us a bag of snacks. A big thank you to the wonderful lady! Hotel location is perfect! The front desk took the initiative to introduce the surrounding route when we checked in, helping us plan a super efficient play itinerary, saving a lot of time. The room was quiet and comfortable, and I could enjoy her warm greetings when I was tired. The location is excellent, plus the professional service at the front desk, making this trip extra worry-free and pleasant, absolutely recommended!
