"We stayed two nights at the Northeast Asia hotel with our kids, and what truly surprised me was the night view. During the day, we were so busy exploring the Forbidden City and Zhongjie Street that we were exhausted. But when we returned to the hotel at night and stood by the window, everything just calmed down. The window faced the city, with a blanket of lights stretching to the horizon, streetlights forming ribbons of light, and distant tall buildings with their top lights twinkling. It reminded me so much of the view from my grandmother's balcony when I was a child. My little one leaned on the windowsill for ages, pointing out which lights were stars and which were airplanes. I just sat beside him, watching the warm glow of the city lights fill the room, without even needing the main lights on. In that moment, all the fatigue from rushing between sights, queuing, and coaxing the kids to eat during the day just melted away. Honestly, when you're traveling and staying in a hotel, having such a beautiful night view to unwind to makes the whole trip feel worthwhile. Next time I'm in Shenyang, I'll definitely stay at Northeast Asia again."

"The views are absolutely stunning ☺️, easily comparable to other hotels with ocean views. The room is also very spacious, more than enough for three people in a double room. There's a convenience store right downstairs, and the subway station is just a four or five-minute walk away. In the evenings, on the way back to the hotel, you can also pop over to the nearby Venice Water Town for a stroll."

The hotel is located at No. 59 Beishuncheng Road, Shenhe District, Shenyang City, adjacent to the ancient and bustling Zhongjie Pedestrian Street. It is a 5-minute walk to the world cultural heritage site Shenyang Palace Museum and Zhang Xueliang's Mansion, and a 10 minute walk. It is quite convenient to reach various popular attractions, with a 6-minute walk to the Liu Laogen Grand Stage. If you want to experience the morning and night markets in Northeast China, the hotel is located near the small river along the morning market, which is one of the must visit morning markets in Shenyang. There are also the TV Tower Night Market and Xiguan Food Street, which are popular destinations for Shenyang people. They are not to be missed by food enthusiasts, and the drive takes about 15 minutes without traffic jams. Feeling that going out is troublesome, the hotel is surrounded by various old and famous food brands such as Zhongjie Ice Point Restaurant, Laobian Dumplings, Majia Roasted Wheat, Li Liangui Smoked Meat Pancake, Qingfeng Baozi, etc. Even in the hotel, you can enjoy various specialty foods. The hotel has convenient transportation: it is about a 10 minute drive from Shenyang North Station and a 30 minute drive from Taoxian International Airport. There are over 20 bus routes near the hotel, providing convenient transportation to various areas of Shenyang. In addition, there are various large shopping malls near the hotel: Zhongjie Commercial City, Dachun Commercial City, Huangcheng Henglong Plaza, and Joy City, which can meet all your shopping needs. It is a high-quality commercial district that integrates trade, office, dining, entertainment, leisure, and sightseeing tourism, providing convenience for your travel. The hotel offers a variety of special room types, including projection rooms favored by young people, king size rooms favored by business people, well lit rooms with work desks, and essential parent-child rooms for family outings. Whether you are for business or leisure travel, the hotel can meet your accommodation needs. The hotel's breakfast time is from 07:00 to 11:30 in the morning, and guests who wake up late will not miss breakfast. After eating and drinking, you can start your happy journey in Shenyang.

"I wholeheartedly recommend Manji Yunfan Hotel! The location is superb, situated in the prime area of Shenhe District, with Zhongjie, the Imperial Palace, and Marshal Zhang's Mansion all within easy walking distance. There are plenty of great food options nearby, like Majia Shaomai and Zhongjie Ice Cream, old favorites that are perfect for a quick bite. Transportation is convenient, with a subway station close by, and it's a very quick taxi ride to the North Station. The rooms are clean and tidy, the service is excellent, and it offers incredible value for money!"

"Dalian Xinglan Tianji Seaview Hotel is a highly-rated high-rise hotel known for its stunning sea views. Its panoramic ocean vistas and excellent value for money are its two main strengths. The hotel's biggest advantage is its superb views. Located on the upper floors of the Furama International Hotel, most guest rooms are situated between the 46th and 48th floors. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking panoramic views of Donggang Seaview and the city skyline, with the night view being particularly captivating. The location is also very convenient, nestled in the core business district of Zhongshan Square, within walking distance to Tianjin Street, making dining, entertainment, and transportation easily accessible. In terms of amenities, the hotel opened in 2024, so the facilities are brand new, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Each room is equipped with a zero-pressure mattress, memory foam pillows, a giant projection screen, and a ”Berlin Sound” audio system, indicating good quality. Regarding service, the front desk staff are warm, efficient, and responsive. Overall, this hotel offers an experience that exceeds expectations in terms of views and accommodation at an affordable price. Many guests consider it a high-value choice for their trip to Dalian."

Qinghe Peninsula Hot Spring Resort Hotel

9.0/10
Good

I wanted to experience a Shenyang bathhouse, so I specifically chose Qinghe Bandao, and it certainly lived up to its reputation! The facilities are huge. Outdoors, there's a wave pool, a lazy river, and the tiered and infinity pools are super photogenic. However, I wouldn't recommend the wave pool for young kids, as inner tubes can flip over easily – my child swallowed some water and refused to go back in, haha. On the second floor, there are many indoor hot spring pools and a spacious rest area. The third floor has a kids' play area and a buffet restaurant. The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes. The limited-time items include one serving of durian, half a lobster, and one abalone per person. The durian quality was quite good, about 1.5 segments per person, which was plenty. Now, I need to specifically mention the service. When I called to inquire about the hot spring tickets for the next day during booking, the staff member on the phone was quite cold, which was a bit disheartening. But upon arrival, I found everyone to be incredibly warm and friendly! As I was checking in, a young man from the hot spring department happened to be returning to the guest room department and helped me with my luggage all the way – much appreciated! Manager Xiaohui at the front desk was also very enthusiastic and attentive. She helped me store my luggage, and after our room was cleaned, she had our luggage delivered to the room. She also proactively sent us the activity schedule, which saved us a lot of trouble. She even gave the kids water guns and fish spa vouchers – many thanks! The ladies in the buffet area were also very friendly and helpful, providing detailed answers to any questions we had. When we left an item behind, they found it immediately and helped mail it to us. So, the service at Bandao is actually excellent; everyone can rest assured! Plus, the room was very clean, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience!

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel absolutely deserves a huge thumbs-up! **Amenities:** The pool on the third floor is great for kids! The depth ranges from 1.2m to 1.6m, so remember to bring swim rings. A special note: swim caps are mandatory to enter the pool. The sky garden on the fifth floor is stunning, especially at night. It's a fantastic spot for photos, with the ocean in front and a lit-up castle behind – unbelievably beautiful! Also, the kids' play area on the fifth floor is highly recommended. When booking through Trip.com, sometimes a package includes access to the 'Kids Castle,' otherwise you'll need to buy tickets (60 for one child, 88 for one adult and one child). My child absolutely loved it and couldn't get enough, and honestly, even the adults had a blast – it's that much fun! **Cleanliness:** The hotel is spotless and well-maintained. Even the nooks and crannies are clean! **Environment:** The environment is beyond words; every corner is incredibly photogenic. Whether you're traveling with family and kids, as a couple, or for any other reason, it's definitely a picture-perfect destination! **Service:** I have to dedicate a bit more space to this. We booked two rooms without breakfast. The manager, seeing we had a baby, specially offered us a complimentary breakfast. Moreover, any issues we had during our stay were resolved perfectly and immediately! The service absolutely deserves full marks!

Shangri-La Hotel Dalian

I was very satisfied with my trip to Dalian, especially the accommodation. Initially, I was worried that Shangri-La, being an older five-star hotel, might have outdated facilities. However, upon arrival, I found the hotel facilities to be very well-maintained, and the service experience was excellent – truly befitting a five-star hotel. I had originally booked a one-bedroom apartment, but the lobby manager kindly upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment for free, seeing that I had many family members with me. We only realized the free upgrade once we got to the room, which was a pleasant surprise for my family and me; we even thought we had gone to the wrong room at first, haha. I'd also like to specially commend Ms. Yara from the hotel. After check-in, she proactively added me on WeChat to help me with a delivery, was always available to assist with any issues, and even gave my baby a cute little bear, which my baby absolutely loves and carries everywhere. Since we were traveling with a small child, the hotel also provided a bed rail. Additionally, the hotel has two playgrounds (one large, one small) and a swimming pool, so there's no need to worry about the baby getting bored. The breakfast was also very lavish, and both adults and children enjoyed it immensely. All in all, Shangri-La Hotel did not disappoint me. I highly recommend it to families traveling with children!

Qing Qiu Hotel

My friends and I stayed at the Dalian Qingqiu Hotel during our trip, and the overall experience was excellent, exceeding our expectations in every aspect. The hotel boasts a new Chinese design style, with elegant and refined layouts that exude a rich classical charm. The public areas are thoughtfully decorated, featuring pavilions and staggered scenic views that create a strong atmospheric ambiance. The aesthetic design is consistent throughout the entire space, giving it a unified and unique character. The lobby has a scenic fish pond with koi swimming freely, adding a lively and elegant touch. Feeding the fish is interactive and adds a lot of vitality to the environment, making a stroll through the area very pleasant. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, with a well-designed layout and simple yet stylish interiors. The amenities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and the rooms are quiet, ensuring a very relaxing stay. The hotel offers free traditional Chinese costumes for guests to try on and take photos, which is a lot of fun. The location is a major highlight, as it's excellent and close to Xinghai Square, making travel very convenient. Nearby attractions and dining spots are concentrated, saving time and effort for sightseeing and business trips. The hotel breakfast is simple but delicious, featuring a refreshing Chinese set meal. The minced pork noodles, seaweed soup, and side dishes are just right, and there are also sweet steamed cakes, egg custard, and cherry tomatoes. Overall, this hotel combines beauty, comfort, and practicality. The design, environment, service, and location are all commendable, offering a fantastic experience and great value for money. It's an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Dalian and highly recommended.

Unfortunately, this hotel turned out to be the worst of my entire two-week trip around China. The staff was friendly, but they didn't speak any English. Overall, the hotel didn't seem particularly foreign-friendly. Simple requests like a fruit bowl or an adapter to charge phone baffled them. When I checked in, I found a clump of long black hair on the bathroom floor. I had to ask them to wash the floors again. The hotel didn't offer any apologies or compliments for this situation. Breakfasts were the most disappointing part. This hotel was the only place in China where I had a bad meal😭 The noodles and even the stewed cabbage were swimming in oil, everything was overly vinegary and garlicky, and there were no fruits, vegetables, or desserts. I ate there only twice in five days, and both times I suffered from severe heartburn. The positive moments are an ideal location and comfortable beds and pillows. I slept well there, even though the room's windows overlooked the highway and not the park as stated when booking.

Stop scrolling through endless reviews and just book this hotel! Seriously, I loved it at first sight and I've never been disappointed when booking hotels here!!! 😂😂😂 What's it like to stay in a castle in Jinshitan National Resort? 😎😎 It's perfectly situated, with Golden Pebble Beach to the south and Discoveryland Theme Park to the north! We arrived by taxi, and the staff were incredibly helpful, carrying our luggage all the way to our room – everyone was so welcoming. The front desk lady was super efficient and had such a lovely personality. She even recommended some local Dalian specialties like sea urchin and 'menzi', as well as nearby restaurants. Huge thanks! ❤️ The room offers stunning mountain and sea views, and the balcony design is truly unique, with an exotic flair – perfect for photos! 📸📸📸 As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a pleasant fragrance. 🥰 The furniture and bathroom were spotless (I saw the cleaning staff tidying rooms in the hallway in the morning, and they were still at it when I returned in the afternoon – very thorough! 👍👍). A safe, refrigerator... everything you need! My favorite part was definitely the public areas! The colorful chandeliers in the lobby, the lobby bar, the book bar, the gentlemen's bar, the spiral staircase, the piano – it all felt more magical than any castle. The Chinese restaurant, Western restaurant, and cloud restaurant are open for extended hours, which is perfect for my night owl schedule! 😹 The third floor is also fantastic to explore. There's a swimming pool, a gym, and surprisingly, three kids' areas! With books, building blocks, and slides, even adults will want to join in! 🤫 It’s really great for families with kids, offering different interactive craft activities daily, probably over 30 options!! Some things are better experienced than explained. 🫣 You won't regret staying here! 🤗🤗 The weather in Dalian has been lovely recently, with clear skies and a pleasant sea breeze! In short, visiting Dalian without going to Jinshitan is a wasted trip, and going to Jinshitan without staying at the Hilton is a wasted experience! 🥳🥳🥳🤓🫶🫶👏👏👏✌️✌️✌️

The location is fantastic, right next to Sunasia Ocean World, and just a few minutes' walk from Xinghai Bathing Beach, Xinghai Square, and Xinghai Park – truly a prime spot. The hotel itself looks quite upscale, and Xiao Yao kept our room very clean and tidy. The afternoon tea is a buffet, which is much more substantial than the usual one-dessert-and-one-drink offering. The bathroom had instant hot water with excellent pressure. We were very happy with all of that. A couple of things could be improved: the power outlet on the desk was quite loose, and overall there weren't enough power outlets in the room. Also, while the elevator is unique, you do have to wait a bit longer when it's busy.

This stay was absolutely perfect! I initially booked for one night just to try it out, but after that first night, I extended my stay for three more. The hotel's location is excellent, right in Dalian's city center with convenient transportation. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station following the navigation, but it's not directly facing the station square, so the environment is quite pleasant. The hotel is surrounded by a vibrant commercial district and dining options, with many large shopping malls. Tianjin Street is just a few dozen meters away, and the Lantern Festival celebrations there were so lively during the Chinese New Year. Zhongshan Square is less than a 10-minute walk away. On my first night, I couldn't wait to see Zhongshan Square lit up at dusk – it was freezing in winter, so there weren't many people on the large square, but the light show was incredibly beautiful. Russian Street is also within walking distance. For Dongguan Street and Xi'an Street, they're not far from the hotel, and you can easily get there by taking an old tram. In short, it's convenient to get anywhere from here. Hotel service quality: The main reception is on the 16th floor. The front desk staff were warm, thoughtful, and very friendly. Check-in was quick, and they even upgraded my room – wonderful! I especially want to thank Mr. Wang Tao; he answered all my questions with great patience. It was quite a coincidence that he was the one who assisted me with both check-in and check-out. The hotel is bright and clean, very tasteful, and fully equipped with comfortable bedding and excellent hygiene. The dining options are diverse. I particularly recommend their free laundry service. This hotel is definitely worth recommending to friends visiting Dalian.

It was really pleasant to soak in the hot spring and enjoy an iced coffee in the room on a rainy day, especially with Dalian's comfortable weather. Facilities: The room facilities had a charming, retro feel from an earlier era. While a bit old, they were fairly well-maintained. Hot Spring Ticket for Two (Single Entry): The hot spring itself was quite good, though the massage services closed a bit early. Service: Brynn provided attentive and warm service, which definitely enhanced our entire trip. Breakfast was pretty standard, but the scrambled eggs with shrimp from room service were surprisingly good.

This is a very professional hotel with excellent service, consistently good as always. Every time I bring my child, we always need something from the front desk or order takeout, and the robot delivers it. My child especially loves playing with the robot. A big hotel is always better; you don't have to worry about hygiene, and the facilities are complete.
