This is a hotel with a lot of character. The front desk service was attentive and thoughtful, and they genuinely tried to resolve any issues I had. The room was clean, spacious, and bright, with complete amenities. The staff were enthusiastic, efficient, and always ready to help. The hotel's location is very close to the scenic area, making it very convenient to get around. Overall, it was great, and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a convenient 15-minute walk from the Forbidden City Grand Marshal's Mansion. You can also order takeout, including chicken drumsticks. There's a free underground parking garage that allows you to bring your car right up. The front desk service was excellent; they even gave us a free room upgrade! From the 26th-floor observation deck, you can see the Forbidden City at night. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and even had a gift bag with recommendations for local eateries. I'd definitely stay here again; super satisfied! Lao Bian Dumpling Restaurant is a direct walk away, making shopping easy. There's a supermarket if you turn left outside the hotel, and Zhongjie Street is only a five-minute walk. The free underground parking is incredibly convenient. Everything here is great, and I'll definitely be back.
Self-service afternoon tea (13:00-15:00): Includes small biscuits and pastries.
[Lobby Special] Freshly ground, brewed aromatic coffee: Available from 9 AM, and it's excellent.

I'm so glad I chose the Yike Yijia Hotel; the service was excellent! The location is absolutely amazing – super close to Xinghai Square and Zhongshan Square by taxi, making it incredibly convenient to get back after exploring the night scenery. The room was cozier than I expected, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was super soft. I really appreciate the well-designed wet/dry separation in the bathroom and the instant hot water. Plus, the toiletries were more than sufficient. A special shout-out to the front desk lady, she was incredibly kind!

Facilities: A bit dated, with small cracks on the cabinet above the mini-fridge and some wall areas, as shown in the last two photos. Overall, it's nothing major and doesn't affect the stay; considering it's a hotel over ten years old, one shouldn't be too demanding. The hotel's facilities are generally complete, with standard luxury hotel amenities. The breakfast is decent; it offers more variety than some Westins but less than some Marriotts. However, the quality is good, especially the desserts which are delicious, and there's a wide selection of juices and milk. Some Marriott hotels even offer a full Cantonese dim sum spread, whereas here there are only a few hot dishes, making the variety seem limited, but the taste is excellent. The potatoes in the pork rib stew are very fragrant, and the boiled shrimp are quite large. All the fruits weren't sweet enough; the fruit quality could be improved.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
Environment: A landmark building in Dalian, nestled against the mountain and overlooking the sea – definitely worth a visit. It's even more stunning for photos at night. It's about a 10 to 15-minute walk downhill, and a bit far from the subway station, but it's away from the city's hustle and bustle, and getting a taxi is very convenient. There's a sky garden on the 5th floor, and the lobby is magnificent; any photo taken there looks great.
Service: Thoughtful and attentive. Someone helps open car doors and handle luggage upon arrival. There's a dedicated butler service that tries its best to accommodate reasonable guest requests. The mini-bar requires extra payment, but a welcome fruit platter and dessert were provided, along with a large bottle of homemade beer. This hotel's beer isn't available online, but it's genuinely delicious.

Facilities: Well-equipped.
Cleanliness: The environment was clean and tidy, but I did notice some dust in the room when I was blow-drying my hair in the morning.
Environment: It's not far from Zhongshan Square, with many restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for dining out or ordering takeout.
Service: Since I arrived quite late, the front desk specifically called to confirm my arrival. When I got there, they immediately offered me tea, which was very kind and thoughtful.
First-day minibar: The hotel also provided some complimentary drinks. Overall, I was very satisfied and highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dalian.

I stayed here for a business trip, and the facilities were quite comprehensive, with everything you could need. There's also a small lounge downstairs, which was very pleasant for chatting with friends. The environment was excellent, always playing soothing music that was very refreshing. The location is also fantastic, very close to the subway station and conveniently located near Laobeishi and Shenyang Zhongjie. The room hygiene was very good, and the housekeeping staff were all very kind and handled any issues well. The front desk service made me feel right at home, very thoughtful and anticipating all needs. It was excellent, and I'll definitely come back next time I'm here for business. It's fantastic! And with Christmas just around the corner, the atmosphere is wonderful. As soon as you walk in, you feel the festive spirit.

The purpose of this trip to Benxi was twofold: Firstly, to take my seventy-year-old parents back to Benxi Water Caves, revisiting a place from their vibrant youth and reliving those passionate memories. Secondly, it was to help my daughter de-stress before she transitions from primary to junior high, as she's about to step into the demanding arena of life.
**Reason for choosing this place:** We picked Guan Shan Lake Xikang Yunshe because its online photos were simply breathtaking – showcasing stunning scenery, lush greenery, magnificent views, and picturesque beauty that truly captivated me and made me want to experience it firsthand. (Honestly, with so many guesthouses and hotels sprouting up across Benxi like mushrooms after rain these past two years, to avoid decision paralysis, I simply picked the top-ranked one.)
**First Impression:** The mountains were in a languid slumber, while the clouds playfully sketched the outline of a castle. At three in the afternoon, the golden sunlight pierced through the clouds, bathing the grey castle in a glow that felt like a divine touch and special favor. (Though this description might seem a bit exaggerated, I believe even Eileen Chang would write it this way.)
Let me discuss the facilities, hygiene, environment, service, unique hot springs, and buffet breakfast all at once:
* **Facilities:** Among all hotels I've stayed at in the same price range, these are personally the most satisfactory and my favorite.
* **Hygiene:** There's still room for improvement. I admit I have exceptionally high standards for cleanliness; my husband, whose pocket money has been depleted by my pickiness, can attest to that.
* **Environment:** The advantages here are self-evident: blessed with unique green mountains, clear waters, and swirling mist. There's simply no room for me to find fault, and I suspect the people of Benxi wouldn't allow it anyway!
* **Service:** I deliberately tried to count the staff members I encountered: two doormen, four charming front desk staff, a villa driver, a room cleaning attendant, kitchen/delivery personnel, staff in the hot spring area, and dining areas... Oh, never mind, I confess my math isn't good enough to count them all. In short, every staff member I met was patient, caring, and dedicated. Their service was perfectly balanced, attentive without being overly enthusiastic. Yes, the hotel management behind the scenes certainly deserves a grand commendation.
* **Unique Hot Springs:** Both my mom and daughter had a wonderful time soaking. My daughter was thrilled because there was unlimited ice cream available, which she could openly and freely enjoy – something I don't usually permit at home. My mom, in turn, was happy seeing her daughter so joyful. Given that the ice cream was actually quite high-quality, I even broke my own rule and indulged in quite a bit. It wasn't just about taking advantage of something free; it was more about not wanting to be a hypocrite with one rule for them and another for me. There were also plenty of unlimited fruits and snacks, perfect for quenching thirst and cooling down.
* **Buffet Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety. I prefer strong flavors in the morning and enjoyed a generous amount of boiled shrimp, baked beans in tomato sauce, Italian beef brisket, bacon, and homemade yogurt. For those who prefer lighter options, the traditional Chinese breakfast choices were truly dazzling.
**A Side Note:** At 4:27 AM, I leaned by the hot spring pool in my room. The water temperature was 37.2 degrees Celsius, exactly half a degree higher than my body temperature – just enough to help my tense nerves loosen their first button. True enjoyment, I realized, is found in places where even time seems to slow down. At that moment, I gazed at the mist still lingering over the distant mountains and fields outside my window, then slowly closed my eyes, drifting back into a soothing dream, only to be awakened by: ”Mom, Mom, Mom, is the hot spring water ready for me?!”

A landmark on Youth Street, right in the city center. Even though the hotel has been open for a while and the facilities are a bit dated, it still feels very luxurious. It offers unique spots for night view photos – a perfect recommendation! Also, Sunny, our butler, provided thoughtful and responsive service; they were always there when we needed them. Our stay at the Grand Hyatt truly made our wonderful Shenyang trip even more romantic.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel environment is fantastic, very quiet, and the room decor is super cozy. It gets great natural light, and the sunshine coming in makes it feel so warm. The bedding is incredibly soft too. The staff were all wonderful; the young woman at the front desk was especially helpful, enthusiastically explaining all the hotel's facilities. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

The sea-view room experience this time was absolutely fantastic! The bay window in the room was just the right size; as soon as I drew back the curtains, I could see the azure ocean, and the shimmering waves were incredibly therapeutic. Waking up to the sea breeze in the morning and gazing at the distant sea from the window was so relaxing and pleasant. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The hotel staff were warm and attentive, always responding promptly to any requests. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

TTuzimenyaArrived at the hotel at 11 AM and was told I could check-in, but the room wasn't ready. They suggested I pick up the hot spring tickets first, go enjoy myself, and then come back for the room later. I could leave my luggage at the storage. I asked if they could bring my luggage to the room once it was cleaned, but they said no, I'd have to come back for it myself. Also, check-in was in a different building. Breakfast was in an even farther restaurant, about a five-minute walk. Inside the hot spring center, there's a large water park area with many children playing. Outdoors, there are several hot spring pools, and the famous 'iron pot stew yourself' (a playful name for a hot pot bath)! On the second floor, in the bathing and scrubbing area, there are several large hot tubs and even smaller 'water缸' (vat) pools, which are quite cute. Plenty of sofas to relax on, and they even thoughtfully provided spin dryers for swimsuits. There was complimentary fruit, but I didn't see any free drinking water. I waited an hour for a scrub; apparently, when it's busy, you might wait four or five hours. The auntie's scrubbing technique was excellent, but the massage beds were quite close together, supposedly because they added more beds due to high demand. The third floor has a children's play area and a dining area. There's no buffet; everything is à la carte, and the variety isn't extensive. However, there's a 'Instant Noodle Research Institute' open from 9 PM to 1 AM, which is quite interesting, featuring most brands you'd find on the market. The fourth floor has foot massages, and the fifth floor has guest rooms, but the elevator only goes to the fourth floor. To get to the guest rooms, you have to go back to the lobby, change clothes and shoes, and then take another elevator to the fifth floor. The guest rooms are a bit old and soundproofing is poor. But behind the hotel, there's a large ice and snow park with ice slides, snow slides, snowmobiles, snow bikes, and other activities suitable for both adults and children.

MM442593****Facilities: Though it's an older establishment, the facilities are well-maintained with no visible damage or wear and tear.
Cleanliness: Relatively clean, and the cleaning staff did a thorough job.
Environment: The hotel is quiet, despite being on a high floor. It's located in the CBD, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, making for a vibrant nightlife.
Service: Very warm and welcoming, especially the young lady at the executive lounge – she was lovely and enthusiastic.
The fourth-floor pool is great; it's not huge, but perfectly adequate for a good swim. The happy hour food selection was decent and satisfying, and the cocktails were particularly well-made.
The mini-bar was well-stocked with drinks, including local Dalian soda and shrimp crisps.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a fantastic location. Right outside, you'll find a scenic viewing platform, conveniently situated between Gates 3 and 4. For just 20 RMB, you can enjoy unlimited rides on the shuttle bus all day, which conveniently connects all gates from 1 to 7. Gates 3 and 7 offer water activities, while Gate 6 features a charming beach dotted with pink tents. If you're looking for dining options, Gates 1 and 2 have a wider selection. In the evenings, Gate 3 also hosts vibrant stage performances. The hotel rooms are generously sized. Photos 1, 7, and 10-13 below were all taken from the hotel balcony, showcasing the stunning views. In the evenings, you can clearly hear the lively buzz from the Gate 3 performances, and at 9:30 PM, you're treated to the spectacular fireworks display from Discoveryland. It's also a perfect spot to catch the sunrise in the morning.

JJiumengAmBooked more than half a month in advance, can only say that you have to spend more money on holidays. Overall it's pretty good, but some details can't be chased. The room card is 30, although I found it in the end and returned it. This is the first time I spent money on the room card. The cleaning lady asked for two more bottles of water and had to ask the front desk. Breakfast can only say that there are not many things. The room is pretty good, and it is still heated. Overall, everything is worth the price. The location is very good, and the back door leads directly to Xinghai Park. You can consider staying in the family room for three people multiple times, and it is generally good. It is convenient to go everywhere.
VVerusha GovenderBayshore hotel was an amazing stay we stayed in the family suite and it met our expectations. Everything was clean and spacious, the breakfast was okay, they did t have much of a western spread but it was up to standards just the food was always cold. The location was great it was really close to Xinghai park and xinghai square. The only issue we had was the elevator I know the concept of the twin elevator was innovative but during peak time you would wait a good 5 to 10 min for the elevator. However the stay was great and I would definitely consider staying at bayshore hotel again.
PPamBKKLocation is not bad, walkable to Russian Folk Street, Zhongshan Square and Youhao Square. Reception desk is on the 16th floor. Rooms start from the 6th floor up. Good size room, cozy, comfortable. Rainshower is nice and strong, but regular shower has some issue. Breakfast has good varieties, but not too exciting. Taste is ok. Not enough attendants in the restaurant resulting in a bit slow service.

GGuest UserWe visited Luneng Hot Spring with our kids and had a great family time. The hot spring was relaxing, and the kids really enjoyed the play areas and child-friendly pools.
One of the best parts of our stay was the excellent help we received from Brynn, a staff member who spoke English very well. Since we don’t speak Chinese, her support made everything easier—from room service to general questions. She was kind, professional, and even checked on us after we left. Thanks to her and the friendly staff, our stay was smooth and enjoyable.
Highly recommended for families!0412
