Just needed a quick overnight stop in Hong Kong. Checked in at 2 AM, and the front desk was super efficient. The hotel facilities are comprehensive. The water pressure in the shower was strong, and the bed was quite comfortable and clean. Plus, they offer a free shuttle service. For 500 HKD a night, it's definitely worth it, especially considering a round trip taxi to the city center would cost more than that.

I stayed for four nights. The hotel is located near Mong Kok East Station, but it's not too far to walk to Prince Edward Station or Mong Kok Station, making it super convenient to get to other places! (There's even a skybridge with escalators directly to Mong Kok Station, so no worries about rain or lugging luggage!)
The room was quite spacious, but perhaps because the plumbing is a bit old? You have to close the shower and toilet doors, otherwise, a sewer smell drifts into the room. Aside from the smell, the overall experience was good!

Facilities: The facilities are very new. The room comes with an adapter and a mini-fridge, which was great to come back to after a day out. There's also a gym in the building.
Service: The service was excellent; they proactively recommended nearby attractions.
Environment: It's very close to the MTR station, right out of the Sham Shui Po B2 exit, a straight walk to the hotel. If you have a lot of luggage, you can use the elevator at exit B, which is very convenient. The top floor has a terrace, and the hotel is quite tall, higher than surrounding buildings, so the view is good.

I stayed at this hotel with my family during our trip to Hong Kong and had a great experience. We booked the Premier Family Quintuple Room, which comfortably accommodated all four of us. The room was spacious and came with two bathrooms, which was very convenient for a family of four/five.
The location is excellent, with many famous attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The surrounding area is pleasant and easy to explore on foot.
Considering the room size, facilities, and location, the price was very reasonable. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for families visiting Hong Kong.

This time, I didn't plan ahead. My return trip was suddenly delayed, and I needed to switch hotels last minute, so I just booked one nearby. I was genuinely amazed by this place! For around 1100, the room was incredibly spacious, completely unlike the 'every inch of land is precious' small rooms I always hear about. It had two bathrooms, a huge bed, two TVs, and a large bathtub with a separate shower. The amenities were also super comprehensive, including a universal adapter and complimentary bottled water in the room. I truly recommend room 1042! They also have all the disposable items for children, which you can ask for at the front desk. Highly recommended! It's also quite close to the MTR station. Just across the road is Kowloon Park, which is definitely worth a visit. Miramar Place is diagonally opposite, as well as Muji, and there's a Don Quijote import supermarket downstairs. Highly, highly recommend!

My child had an entrance exam in Hong Kong, and after a long search, I picked this hotel and was very satisfied. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and spoke excellent English. They even extended our checkout time to 1 PM. The next day, we were a little late getting back from the exam, and they extended it again to 1:30 PM. It's so convenient – you can walk directly to Langham Place from level L via a footbridge, which has all sorts of food options. Mong Kok MTR station, Exit C, is right downstairs. Seriously, it's super convenient for dining, accommodation, and transportation. The value for money is excellent. The room also had a little booklet with recommendations for food, accommodation, and transportation, which was a nice touch. I'm very satisfied. Thank you! 🙏🌷🌷🌷

This is my first time staying in this hotel with my family.
The hotel upgraded my booking and gave me a very good room with a bath tube, ocean view, with the sofa in the room. My kid likes it alot and want to stay more.
I’m sure for our next visit, we will stay in this hotel again.
We have had a good experience! Strongly recommend!

This hotel is right by MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Exit 4, so you can walk directly to the MTR station. It's also close to shopping areas. Around the side of the hotel, there are bus and van stops, which is incredibly convenient.
I stayed for 2 nights and daily housekeeping was provided.
The hotel doesn't offer complimentary bottled water. The room wasn't too small. I didn't take any photos inside the hotel, but if I go back, I'd definitely stay here again.

Great for business trips or travel. The location is convenient, close to the subway, and the area is quiet. The room was clean and tidy, and the price was very affordable. It's a good option to consider, though some days the prices can be quite high, as it varies daily.

Mixed review for an overnight stay:
- I booked a large room 25+ sq m to get proper space to work
- the room was clean and bathroom was clean
- the location is great walking distance to ferry to north point and Whampoa MTR station
- Lots of eateries and mall nearby walking distance
- the hotel has a strange policy of no tooth brush, no water in the room. For this price, this should be included and not optional. Environment is lame excuse give the extensive use of air conditioning and lighting everywhere and all the cars and taxis with engine on outside the hotel. Just saving on water bottle and toothbrush for environment is a lame excuse and. It consistent with the star rating.
- the staff are really rude - it seems HK people resent visitors and feel a grudge having to serve overseas visitors from mainland

AAnonymous UserHad a fantastic stay! The lovely lady at the front desk upgraded our room for free, and we had a beautiful sea view from our window. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel also offers a simple lunch. It's located right next to Ting Kau Village, by the sea, perfect for a stroll. While it's a bit of a distance from the MTR station, the hotel provides a shuttle bus to and from Tsuen Wan MTR station, running every 15 minutes or so until around 11 PM, which made getting around very convenient. Overall, highly recommended!
CChuangtainazhimaoIt's been almost 10 years since I last visited Hong Kong. This time, my kids wanted to go to Hong Kong Disneyland, so we booked a one-night stay at a Disneyland hotel and two days of park visits.
We stayed at the Explorer's Lodge, which is the newest of the three Disneyland hotels. The rooms are quite spacious, and the lobby is very grand. Prices were quite high for the May Day holiday; with taxes and service fees, two rooms came to over HKD 6,500.
The hotel service was good. Perhaps because we spoke Cantonese, the staff were very enthusiastic. They explained everything in detail, including breakfast arrangements at the hotel and the most convenient transportation options to Macau. When we checked in, the front desk initially said they'd arrange connecting rooms, but although we got two adjacent rooms, they weren't connecting after all 🤣. The front desk also noticed that we had a birthday guest this month and gave us two birthday badges and a towel cake, which was a nice touch that added to the experience.
When I booked the rooms, I didn't opt for breakfast because I'd stayed at the Disneyland Hotel before, and the included breakfast was a buffet with limited options. This time, we chose à la carte breakfast. For four people, we ordered four sets, and the portions were huge – we couldn't even finish them all. The breakfast tasted good, especially the beef brisket macaroni in the Hong Kong-style set, which was perfectly to my liking. The dim sum in the Chinese-style set was also quite delicious.
GGuest UserThis hotel is perfect for travelers catching an early flight the next day. It's just a few minutes' walk to the departure hall, and finding the hotel is easy with clear signs guiding you from the airport arrivals. However, the facilities are a bit old. The room only has UK-style power outlets, but you can borrow an adapter for free from the front desk. Overall, it's a good stay.
BBazai_Me..Facilities: The facilities are well-maintained and not outdated at all, I'm very satisfied.
Hygiene: The hygiene is clean and tidy, and the cleaning is meticulous.
Environment: The location offers stunning Victoria Harbour views and is very convenient for getting to Harbour City.
Service: The staff are very enthusiastic and accommodating.
Minibar: They offered a complimentary minibar, which was a thoughtful touch!
The Kerry Hotel will be my choice again when I return to Hong Kong. It's much more convenient than I expected to get to Sushiro and convenience stores! The prime location allows us to enjoy the most beautiful harbor views from the hotel, and the night view is absolutely breathtaking! It's the best choice for a vacation.
GGuest UserFor a business trip, the stay was decent and comfortable. The room was quite clean and cozy. The transportation isn't great; it takes at least 45 minutes to walk to the subway. The hotel facilities are just so-so, especially the toothbrushes which were very hard. Luckily, there's a supermarket downstairs.
Zzyyp1208The location is fantastic. However, the room I was given this time reeked. The front desk initially said they were fully booked and wouldn't switch my room, but eventually, they moved me to a tatami room. Even that room had a strong odor, and the air vent wasn't blowing any air. I reported this to the front desk when checking out, and they said they'd address it promptly. I hope for a better experience next time.
GGuest UserTwo of the rooms we booked had bugs. The front desk promptly sent someone to clean and disinfect them. The facilities are a bit old and run-down; one of the rooms had an old eyelid sticker left on a yellow cushion from a previous guest. The hotel staff in the lobby were very polite and proactively offered assistance, which is a big plus.
NNiSA183Five out of five stars! A mountain and sea sanctuary next to the city – Hong Kong Discovery Bay Hotel ✨
I highly recommend Hong Kong Discovery Bay Hotel! Away from the urban hustle and bustle, nestled between the mountains and sea of Lantau Island, checking in feels like stepping into a paradise. The vacation vibes are absolutely top-notch.
🌊 Rooms: Spacious views, incredibly thoughtful details
The sea view room we booked was a delightful surprise! The space is exceptionally generous for a Hong Kong hotel, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the turquoise sea and green mountains. Waking up to such a healing beautiful view is amazing. The bathroom features an oversized bathtub with a view, allowing you to relax while gazing at the ocean – an absolutely fantastic experience. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Daily housekeeping was meticulous, making for a very pleasant stay.
🌴 Environment and Facilities: Perfect for family fun and relaxation
The hotel boasts a serene environment with elegant garden landscaping, and right next door is the iconic waterfront White Chapel, perfect for stunning photos.
• Outdoor Pool: A 25-meter pool directly facing the sea, offering breathtaking sunset views in the evening.
• Free Shuttle Bus: Conveniently connects to Sunny Bay, Disneyland, Tung Chung, and other locations.
👩💼 Service: Warm, attentive, gentle, and thoughtful
The staff provided smiling service throughout, communicated smoothly in Mandarin, and check-in was efficient and swift. Any requests were handled incredibly quickly.
GGuest UserThe transportation is incredibly convenient, with a bus stop right downstairs that's just one stop away from Sha Tin town center. The view is excellent, but because there are many buses, the river-view rooms can get noisy from the buses moving around. The hygiene is standard, meeting typical 4-star hotel expectations. It includes breakfast, the rooms are spacious, and it offers great value for money.
PPhillip from CanadaLast year, we have stayed here several times and back again this summer.
The hotel is in a very nice location with lots of restaurants nearby, good food and not very expensive relative to other tourist districts like TST. Two blocks to the MTR station and bus terminal with easy access to every part of Hongkong. Close to the Victoria Park and walking distance through the park to the Causeway Bay shopping district.
The new East Harbour-front broadwalk offering great view of the entire Victoria harbour and great for a morning jog or sunset walk. Also easy access up to the Hong Kong Island Coastal Trails.
Staffs were very friendly with super fast checkin and checkout. Seems like the hotel has also done some minor improvements like better wifi connections and placing filter units in the hallways to clean the air due to people smoking in their rooms or in the hallway, even though the hotel is supposed to be totally smoking free environment!
Will definitely be back again in the next few months.
