I know hotels in Hong Kong are small, but this one was even smaller! If two people brought luggage, there was no space to open it! It looked nothing like the pictures.
It's normal for prices to go up during the May Day holiday, but for over 1000, this was much worse than a budget hotel in mainland China! The bed was also unstable! I only stayed here because I was seeing a concert. It is quite close to the MTR station, though. Next time, I'll definitely choose somewhere else. A heads-up for future guests.

The scenery is beautiful, with an endless view of the ocean. However, there was hair from the previous guest in the bathroom. The bathroom light, an old-fashioned fluorescent tube, kept flickering, making me think I was in hell. I was about to call the front desk when it suddenly worked normally again. But if you turn it off, it starts flickering when you turn it back on. The elevator doesn't require a key card, anyone can go up, so if you're concerned about safety, this place isn't for you. The Type-C charging port by the bed was broken. I don't understand why they didn't add another socket next to the light when there's space, but instead put a power strip in the middle of the living room, which international chargers couldn't use. Luckily, there was still one usable socket by the TV.
The hotel is a bit far from popular attractions like Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay. A HKD 500 deposit is required upon check-in, and they accept RMB. There's a McDonald's, a 'cha chaan teng' (local cafe), and a convenience store nearby, so food options are pretty convenient. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel; you can take 4 stops to reach Wong Chuk Hang MTR station. Although the room is a bit small, it's very clean. Overall, it's still quite good.

1. The room was better than I expected. I was a bit worried about the cleanliness at this price point in Hong Kong, but I felt much more at ease after arriving. The overall hygiene was good, and they even provided a wooden toothbrush, though I brought my own and didn't need it.
2. The front desk staff and the person handling luggage were very friendly. I locked my room card inside the room, and they helped me resolve it. They even gave me some chocolates afterwards.
3. The room is indeed much smaller compared to Guangzhou, so be prepared for that. However, I was only staying for one night, so it was acceptable.
4. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation. To get to the high-speed rail station, you can walk to Tsim Sha Tsui East Station and take the MTR to Austin. It's also very convenient for getting to Central or other places.
5. Areas for improvement:
- I kept pressing the elevator floor button with no response. It turns out you need to swipe your card first. I suggest they put up a sign with instructions.
- I thought there was no hairdryer, so I didn't wash my hair. Only the next day did I find it in a cabinet outside the bathroom. I suggest placing it in a more visible spot in the bathroom (e.g., above where the toiletries are).

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The A11 bus to the airport is also not far away. It's just a 5-minute walk to the MTR station. The room was clean, though admittedly not large, but perfectly fine for two people. Considering the area, the price was very reasonable. I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel is connected to a mall with a supermarket, 7-Eleven, and plenty of dining options, which is very convenient. The room was great, quite spacious, and came with a kitchen, utensils, and a microwave, making it very practical. There's a free shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui, and Hung Hom MTR station is right outside, so transportation is also convenient.

The official photos accurately represent the room, which is great! My only minor gripe is that a 24-inch suitcase won't fit, but otherwise, everything was fine. Just be aware that you'll need to bring your own slippers, disposable toiletries, and towels. Essentially, they only provide a place to sleep. Also, they don't offer cleaning service even if you stay for a few days. However, if you're just looking for a place to crash, it's definitely good value for money.

Upon check-in, the front desk informed us that the hotel's upper floors were undergoing renovations, and to let them know if we encountered any issues. Our 4-day stay was pretty good. We were on the 15th floor, and when we left around 10 AM, we barely heard any noise from the room. The room itself was decent, spacious enough to fully open two 28-inch suitcases. The hotel's location is also very convenient; you can get here from the airport by taking bus A21/A22 or the MTR. It's about a 10-minute walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station to the hotel. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining options like Lin Heung Tea House, Yung Kee Roast Goose, Chung So Dessert, Wa So Cafe, an egg tart shop, and Haidilao. For shopping, there's Matsumoto Kiyoshi, Don Quijote, 7-11, and Wellcome Supermarket. The street right outside the hotel is Kimberley Road, and our driver told us this area is Hong Kong's 'Korean Street,' so you'll find lots of Korean restaurants around! Alright! #TsimShaTsui #TsimShaTsuiHotel ##GreatValueHotel #TravelBug #YungKeeRoastGoose #LinHeungTeaHouse #WaSoCafe #Hashtag #ChibiMarukoChan – On the first floor of The One shopping mall next to the hotel, there's even a Chibi Maruko-chan birthday celebration event with merchandise for sale!

It's truly rare to find a hotel with such great value for money in Hong Kong. The hotel is located near To Kwa Wan MTR station, making both bus and subway travel convenient. The room was arguably one of the largest I've stayed in in Hong Kong, offering ample space to move around. Although the furniture is a bit dated, it's thankfully clean and tidy. The hotel is well-managed and offers a shuttle service to Tsim Sha Tsui and West Kowloon Station, which is a definite bonus. I highly recommend this 5-star hotel, especially during peak holiday seasons.

Free upgrade to a premium room (with view): Very good, the city view was especially beautiful, and the front desk staff had excellent service.
Hotel shuttle bus service: Very convenient, it can reach many major tourist attractions.
Due to Hong Kong's plastic ban, free toothbrushes are not provided, but you can buy one for one dollar from a vending machine, so you don't need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The hotel is right next to Happy Valley, and it's not too far to walk to Causeway Bay, so the overall location is very good.

GGuest UserReally enjoy the hotel’s services, they offer free shuttle bus to and from tseun muen station every 15 minutes, I can get to the metro easily. The view from the hotel is so nice, great for a relaxing trip, you can visit the beach, enjoy the sauna and pool. The room is clean and comfortable, you can get cold drinking water in dispenser. Most of all, the staffs are all so helpful, they helped us order taxi for an early flight to the airport, they also patiently assisted in looking for my stuff that I left inside the room after checking out. Overall, really enjoy my stay. Most of all, the hotel is really beautiful and well-maintained.
CChuangtainazhimaoIt's been almost 10 years since I last visited Hong Kong. This time, my kids wanted to go to Hong Kong Disneyland, so we booked a one-night stay at a Disneyland hotel and two days of park visits.
We stayed at the Explorer's Lodge, which is the newest of the three Disneyland hotels. The rooms are quite spacious, and the lobby is very grand. Prices were quite high for the May Day holiday; with taxes and service fees, two rooms came to over HKD 6,500.
The hotel service was good. Perhaps because we spoke Cantonese, the staff were very enthusiastic. They explained everything in detail, including breakfast arrangements at the hotel and the most convenient transportation options to Macau. When we checked in, the front desk initially said they'd arrange connecting rooms, but although we got two adjacent rooms, they weren't connecting after all 🤣. The front desk also noticed that we had a birthday guest this month and gave us two birthday badges and a towel cake, which was a nice touch that added to the experience.
When I booked the rooms, I didn't opt for breakfast because I'd stayed at the Disneyland Hotel before, and the included breakfast was a buffet with limited options. This time, we chose à la carte breakfast. For four people, we ordered four sets, and the portions were huge – we couldn't even finish them all. The breakfast tasted good, especially the beef brisket macaroni in the Hong Kong-style set, which was perfectly to my liking. The dim sum in the Chinese-style set was also quite delicious.
GGuest UserAs our flight arrived HK at 2355 hrs, we booked a night at Regal Hotel on arrival. Once you are at the Arrival Hall, turn to left towards the end & you will see a signboard directing you to Regal Hotel. Just less then 5 mins walk you will reach the Hotel’s Reception. Checking-in was a breeze in less then 3 mins we were given the room keys. Room is old but clean with all the necessities. As the room came with 1 complementary breakfast, i paid an extra HKD138/pax for the international buffet breakfast. Well worth the price. To reach the city, we took the HK Airport Express at a promo price for 2 pax single journey.
KkimkimkimsFacilities: There's a gym with a sea view and an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the sea, perfect for sunbathing.
Environment: The hotel is located in Hung Hom Promenade, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
Service: Five-star service quality; English, Cantonese, and Mandarin are all spoken.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
SSanshisanI only found out after booking that this hotel has a bit of a reputation, apparently for being *******, so I was a bit unnerved staying there at night. The front desk is on the third floor, above a mall, and it seems to be quite a popular place. The air conditioner remote in my room was broken and couldn't be controlled. In the other room, it could be controlled, but it kept resetting to the original temperature, and I couldn't adjust the fan speed either, which blew directly onto the bed. The soundproofing isn't great; there were a lot of excited foreigners, so it was a bit noisy. The service was good, though. However, my room wasn't ready at the 3 PM check-in time, and I had to wait another thirty minutes, which I found unacceptable. It just doesn't make sense to have to check out by 11 AM but then not get your room until 3:30 PM.

CCandy_ZhengRoom: It's truly rare to find such a spacious room in Hong Kong at such a great value for money. The only minor downside is that the shower is combined with a bathtub. The room was clean and tidy, and they provided children's toothbrushes and slippers. They thoughtfully prepared various charging ports, so you just need to bring your own cable. The twin room only came with two pillows. Since it was just one adult and one child, I wanted an extra pillow to create a barrier for the child's bed, but couldn't find a third one. However, I'm sure I could have requested one from housekeeping.
Facilities: The hotel has plenty of restaurants, and there are vending machines right by the elevators in the lobby. The elevators are fast, so no long waits. The pool was very clean, and the outdoor children's playground was comfortable, though a bit sunny during the day. The beach is also very close.
Surrounding Amenities: There's a supermarket, 7-Eleven, and a variety of Chinese and Western restaurants nearby.
GGuest UserThis was my first time visiting Hong Kong, and I was a bit worried about the common online anecdotes of mainland Chinese tourists being looked down upon. However, the staff here were all very courteous. Since we were traveling with a child, they upgraded us to a family room. The beds, when put together, were spacious and much larger than I expected. Plus, they offer a free hotel shuttle that goes to the high-speed rail station and Disneyland, which was a huge convenience with a child as we didn't have to deal with multiple transfers. It saved us time, effort, and money, making for an excellent experience!
AAnonymous UserI've always been a fan of Regal hotels. Many bloggers recommend this particular one for long-term stays or as a pre-natal hotel. I got an upgraded room, which was very spacious. It's about a 15-minute walk to New Town Plaza in Sha Tin, which is nice on a good day. Even when it rains, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel that can get you to Sha Tin MTR station in 5-10 minutes. Both Sha Tin and Sha Tin Wai MTR stations are convenient, depending on which line you need. There are plenty of dining options nearby, plus a Wellcome supermarket. The room also has a direct drinking water tap, which is a rare find in many hotels.
BBannijiayouThe neighborhood felt great! I love the song 'Next Stop, Tin Hau,' so I chose to stay at the Empire Hotel in Tin Hau station this time. And indeed, the vibe was fantastic. The service, just like in Tsim Sha Tsui, was exceptional. It felt personal and down-to-earth. They even gave me a complimentary bottle of water every day, which was a thoughtful touch. Thank you!
It's convenient for getting everywhere; I'm quite familiar with the area now. Staying for several days in a row offered great value for money.
Keep up the good work! May we all continue to thrive.
