Wonderful hotel! The room was very clean and cozy. We even got a sea view, which was lovely ❤️. We had a layover in Hong Kong and stayed at this airport hotel, then headed downtown for some sightseeing. The lobby is very stylish. The hotel is located one station away from the airport itself, at Airport Expo. There are many restaurants in the building next to the hotel, but they close by midnight. Inside the hotel, you can grab ready-made meals (pasta, noodles, rice, meat) and heat them up right in the lobby, which turned out to be super convenient. You can walk to the airport within the buildings in about 10 minutes. I loved everything about it!

The room was very clean and tidy. The hotel beds were spacious, with two 1.5-meter beds, perfectly fine for 3-4 people. The room rate was very reasonable. The hotel's location is also excellent, right above Mong Kok East MTR station, and it's connected to a shopping mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. From the airport, take the A21 bus to Mong Kok, then walk through a covered walkway directly to the hotel, which takes about 10 minutes if you walk fast. No need to worry about rain, it's fantastic. Plus, the walkway itself is a popular spot for influencers, with many people taking great photos of Mong Kok's street views.

Facilities: The facilities are very new. The room comes with an adapter and a mini-fridge, which was great to come back to after a day out. There's also a gym in the building.
Service: The service was excellent; they proactively recommended nearby attractions.
Environment: It's very close to the MTR station, right out of the Sham Shui Po B2 exit, a straight walk to the hotel. If you have a lot of luggage, you can use the elevator at exit B, which is very convenient. The top floor has a terrace, and the hotel is quite tall, higher than surrounding buildings, so the view is good.

Great location and amazing value for money! The room was finally a decent size, not the tiny 10-15 sq m I've encountered before. The staff were friendly and helpful, I was very satisfied. Getting around was a breeze, with subway and bus stops conveniently close by. A taxi to the airport wasn't expensive either, around 160 RMB. Plenty of local eateries and dessert shops nearby to satisfy any foodie. My trip to Hong Kong for the concert was perfect. I also visited Ocean Park; getting there was very easy. Even though it rained, I managed to do everything I wanted. If I ever get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely book this hotel.

The room was clean and had a bathtub, plus a universal adapter. The smart home system for lights and curtains made for a very convenient stay. Housekeeping was prompt and the service was attentive. The front desk staff gave great recommendations for food and attractions, and every single staff member I encountered was friendly and enthusiastic. The location is also excellent, with plenty of good food nearby. K11, the Art Museum, and the Science Museum are just a few minutes' walk away. I was rushing for an early flight when checking out and forgot to properly check out. I called the front desk, and they kept reassuring me, saying it was fine as long as I hadn't left anything behind. All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Hong Kong.

The hotel facilities are complete and clean, and the room size is acceptable for Hong Kong. The staff were quite enthusiastic and provided me with a lot of help. It's just a few steps from Mong Kok MTR station, making transportation very convenient. Langham Place mall, with its many brands, is right below the hotel. There are plenty of shopping and dining options next to the hotel. Overall, I was quite satisfied with this stay.
My only suggestion for improvement is regarding the charging. I brought a travel adapter, but none of the wall sockets in the room worked for it. I could only use the USB charging port on the nightstand, which charged my phone quite slowly.

The room is more spacious conpare to other hobgkong hotels of the same price. It is clean, and the staff are polite and helpful. The facilities are all good however they dont provide disposable products such as toothbrush and toothpaste and other kits that hotels do, so better if you can bring your own. However they have shampoos and lotion provided. The hotel looks and feels luxurious and grand. They only problem is that’s a little but far. If you want a quiet neighborhood with good view this is your choice

The cleanliness was perfect, and the room itself was quite decent by Hong Kong standards – just right for a solo traveler! The best part is its location right in the heart of Hong Kong, with metro stations and buses all around. The only downside is that from 2025 onwards, there will be no complimentary water or toiletries due to an eco-friendly, plastic-free initiative.

Great for business trips or travel. The location is convenient, close to the subway, and the area is quiet. The room was clean and tidy, and the price was very affordable. It's a good option to consider, though some days the prices can be quite high, as it varies daily.

Transportation: Convenient, just a short walk from Whampoa Station Exit D2 on the Kwun Tong Line.
Environment: The view is great, and the night view is also beautiful.
Service: The front desk lady was very gentle, and all the staff I encountered were very polite.

GGuest UserThe bathroom was surprisingly spacious. They offer a shuttle bus service with frequent runs, which I highly recommend! The room had a great view. I'll definitely book here again next time, although I did see a cockroach in the room.
MMommyDAs we stepped into Explorers, the scent and cooling ambience made us feel great! The service staffs were all friendly too and we really felt welcomed. During check in, I was informed that we will be dining at Dragon Wind. During the first day breakfast, we found out that Halal option is only available for preorder one day in advance. Nevertheless, the staff at Dragon Wind walked us through the buffet line to advise which food is vegetarian/halal friendly. He also ensured that we get a proper main dish even though the halal menu was not preordered. He arranged for chefs to whip up Vegetarian Egg Noodles and Vegetarian Fried Rice for my kids who are allergic to eggs. And he constantly checks in on us for both days to make sure that we’re okay with the food and service. We had halal main course the next day!
Thank you for Mr Keith for going the extra mile in making sure that we had a good breakfast during our stay.
PPiaoyangguohaideyingAfter arriving, you'll need to clear immigration. On your left, there's a hotel sign, which is perfect for transit passengers. The hotel environment is also good. We checked in at 12 AM and received a complimentary upgrade to a triple room. The hotel was very accommodating! The instant noodles for breakfast were decent, suitable for those with a 'mainland' palate.
SShafffffyI came here for a conference but brought my mum along for an extended holiday. While the hotel room, room service and cleanliness were all up to expectations I was unhappy about having to wait 2 hours for my room to be ready. I could only enter my room at 5pm. I have stated my preferred room and special requests earlier on via the app so that it would all be ready upon arrival. But to my dismay, they said the room was not ready and I had to wait until 5pm to be able to enter my room. For a 5 star hotel, i had expected more. There was no compensation or whatsoever, i was simply made to wait for 2 whole hours for my room that I have already stated my preferences. I asked if I could leave a feedback so that services can be improved, the receptionist only took down my email, in which they did not reach out to me at all. Please improve in your services. I did appreciate the muslim friendly ammenities such as the prayer mat, Quran, and halal in-room dining. Everything else was great. Just need to improve on the checkins.
AAnonymous UserEvery time I visit Hong Kong, I stay at this hotel. The location is convenient, with direct transportation from the airport. It's also easy to get to Macau and Disneyland. The MTR takes you directly to Lan Kwai Fong, and it's excellent value for money!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's air conditioning really needs a good clean. My travel companion has a sensitive nose and wasn't feeling great. Thanks to the front desk staff for the suite upgrade! Also, it's nice that you can decide on the spot if you want to add the breakfast buffet.
One thing I'd like to point out: The restaurant staff didn't pay attention to whether guests had finished eating before leaving. They cleared all my food away, and I had to go get new items, which was inconvenient!
MMuzipangI had a fantastic stay booking through Trip.com this time. Online communication was smooth, and the booking process was efficient and hassle-free. The hotel's garden park leads directly to the beach, offering expansive ocean views. The sea breeze was so therapeutic, and it was perfect for taking photos. The staff were warm, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. My room was meticulously cleaned, overall spotless, and had no strange odors. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. The outdoor pool area was very comfortable, providing an excellent swimming experience. All in all, the amenities, environment, and service were top-notch, creating an incredible vacation atmosphere. It's truly a prime choice for relaxation.

When we came back, we were unexpectedly told that our reserved room was no longer available. Instead, we were given a room with two single beds. I was extremely disappointed, especially since this was a special occasion. This change should have been communicated to us earlier, rather than at the last minute.
Overall, the experience was frustrating, and I believe the situation could have been handled with much better communication and customer service.

JJulesTGreat location with public transport right outside the hotel including airport bus! Lots of local restaurants a short walk away and nearby (New Town plaza). Inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Our queen room with double bed is basic and small but has plenty of storage. Clean but towels provided were very worn and had holes in them. Whole place In need of update and renovation. Coin laundry service on site (8/fl). Ironing board available on request but beware it is not safe (broken plug)or clean, see image.
GGuest UserI stayed one night at The Empire Hotel Causeway Bay in Hong Kong, and overall it was a very comfortable experience.
The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate for a solo traveler. It had everything I needed, despite its small size, and the layout was well-organized and practical. Being on the 30th floor, I had a small window with a nice view, which was a good bonus.
The front desk, concierge, and even the housekeeping staff were all attentive and friendly. Communication in Chinese was seamless, and the hotel did its best to accommodate my small requests.
The location is very convenient, close to both bus stops and the MTR station (about a 10-minute walk).
There's a refuse collection point across the street from the hotel, but it didn't really bother me, and it's not something the hotel can control anyway. The value for money is great, and the service is definitely commendable.
I didn't try the in-house dining, so I can't comment on that. This is just my honest personal review.
