Romantic Hotels in Hong Kong, China

I took the A38 bus directly from the airport to the hotel, which took about an hour. The A38 route has infrequent buses, only one an hour, so I recommend checking the map beforehand to avoid waiting aimlessly. The bus announced the hotel stop, but after getting off, you still have to walk a bit. The hotel is opposite the bus stop. Hong Kong's roads are quite peculiar, with no sidewalks, but fortunately, there aren't many cars. Since the hotel is by the sea, there's a chance of getting a sea view room. The hotel seems a bit old; the carpet was indeed a bit dirty, but other facilities in the room were fine. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Tsuen Wan (downtown), apparently every fifteen minutes. From Tsuen Wan, you can take the MTR to other places, which is quite convenient [Clap]. A taxi from the hotel to the airport costs around 250-300 HKD, just for your reference. Overall, it's good value for money. It's a great choice for a layover if you're only staying one night. P.S. My room was upgraded for free!

I stayed at the Regal Airport Hotel for three consecutive days, and it was incredibly convenient. There's a direct walkway from the airport to the hotel, and I could even push the luggage cart all the way to the hotel's check-in counter. It was also easy to go to the airport for meals, as there are many restaurants there.

Staying at the old Kerry Hotel Hung Hom, the facilities are well-maintained. On the first day, I was assigned a room on the 14th floor. Although the full sea-view room was far from the elevator, there was a musty smell upon entering. Luckily, they provided two air purifiers, otherwise, it would have been unbearable. For the second and third nights, I decisively switched to a premier sea-view room. After I raised the issue, they arranged it well. The full sea-view room should face Central; looking at the Island Eastern Corridor and Whampoa Garden is not interesting! I arrived by car, and the valet parking staff lacked enthusiasm in their customer service. However, the bellhop at checkout was excellent; seeing me with three suitcases alone, he was very willing to help me with my luggage. Kerry's service has always been neither too much nor too little, neither cold nor hot, but this time it was a pleasant surprise. I'll stay again next time!

Having stayed in over a dozen hotels in Hong Kong, some good, some bad, I have to say this one offers excellent value for money~ Great location, just a five-minute walk from Tin Hau MTR station and within walking distance of Causeway Bay~ Surrounded by an abundance of delicious restaurants~ Surprisingly, the room was not small, which is a rare find; you can open your suitcase without an issue. And it even has a large opening window, which is incredibly rare on Hong Kong Island~ I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit~

I was going to a concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum and decided to book Harbour Plaza Metropolis right away when I found out it was right next door. The room was a bit small but decent, and the view from the window was okay. The shower head connection in our bathroom was broken, so water wouldn't come out when the shower head was lowered, and it was hard to adjust the hot and cold water. Harbour Plaza Metropolis doesn't provide free toothbrushes and toothpaste. I didn't notice this policy when I booked, so I had to buy a disposable toothbrush for HKD 5 at the concierge. Although I understand this is Harbour Plaza Metropolis's policy, I've never encountered this at other hotels in Hong Kong, so it left a bit of a bad impression. Nevertheless, Harbour Plaza Metropolis has an excellent location and is one of the best hotels to stay at if you're attending a concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum.

We live in HK and decided to bring our 13 month old for her to experience the playhouse. The amenities are complete and really child friendly. * I had a problem with the playhouse because it was not mentioned that it comes with a fee so please check the rates here. Not bad for in house guests but would highly suggest the give complimentary fee hours to in house guests. They offer bed guard, crib, milk warmer and sterilizer. When we entered the room it has a bathtub for our baby and a fan. The breakfast is okay and has options for our child. The pool is huge and has 2 slides for kids. They require a life jacket for kids but we brought ours. The only thing the hotel needs to improve is the air conditioning in the room, its summer and we have a child. The aircon says 18 but my baby is sweating. That’s why they have the fan ready but still not much of help.

Extremely satisfied with my stay. There's a shuttle bus service to Disneyland, and when it's busy, they use larger buses that come every few minutes, making transfers very convenient and timely. The room was spacious with two 1.5-meter beds, providing plenty of room. Although the decor isn't luxurious, the materials used are high-quality; the mattress and faucets are excellent. Details like the placement of the trash can and tissue dispenser are well thought out. I especially want to commend the charging cables with various connectors, plug adapters, and USB and C-type charging ports provided on the bedside table. This greatly met our family's charging needs. The hotel's courtyard is also very picturesque, and you can walk to the beach. Highly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Disneyland.

Super satisfied! I booked this hotel for a two-day trip to Disney. They offer a free shuttle bus, and the 8:40 PM one is perfect for catching after the fireworks show. For the next day, you can book the 9 AM or 10 AM shuttle at the front desk. The hotel's location is great, and the front desk even gave me a room with a partial sea view – thank you! The room was also very spacious and clean. It was my first time seeing a shower area designed like that, haha. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance!

Opted for the Regal Riverside Hotel in Hong Kong again, it's a great value-for-money hotel in the city. **Location:** Situated right next to Sha Tin town center, with direct airport bus access, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are plenty of beauty stores, convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby, offering a wide array of dining options. My room had a stunning view of Shing Mun River, with mountains and water – a picturesque landscape that was absolutely beautiful. **Facilities:** This time I stayed in a single king-sized bed room. It's much smaller than the twin-bed room I had before, but for a solo traveler staying one night, it was just right. The facilities were quite complete. **Service:** They offer luggage storage both before check-in and after check-out, which is very helpful. However, check-in is strictly after 3 PM, and early check-in is not permitted, so you need to time your arrival accordingly. The front desk staff speaks Mandarin and English, which is very convenient. **Cleanliness:** It was very clean, as always.

The hotel is conveniently connected to a shopping mall, which is a great plus, especially for transportation. Whether you're taking the direct bus to and from mainland China or heading out to downtown Hong Kong, the bus terminal is right downstairs. There are also airport express buses, so it's very well-catered for. The room's cleanliness was satisfactory, but there were some drawbacks. Firstly, there weren't enough power outlets; there wasn't one conveniently located by the bed for charging. Secondly, when showering, water would leak out of the door, even when closed, creating a large puddle outside the bathroom. This was both dangerous and inconvenient.
