I know hotels in Hong Kong are small, but this one was even smaller! If two people brought luggage, there was no space to open it! It looked nothing like the pictures.
It's normal for prices to go up during the May Day holiday, but for over 1000, this was much worse than a budget hotel in mainland China! The bed was also unstable! I only stayed here because I was seeing a concert. It is quite close to the MTR station, though. Next time, I'll definitely choose somewhere else. A heads-up for future guests.

I recently stayed at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong near North Point for four nights with my family and baby, and the experience exceeded my expectations. First, the location is excellent. It's just a five-minute walk from the Fortress Hill MTR station on the Island Line, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel is also only a few minutes' walk from the seaside promenade, which is perfect for a relaxing stroll. Second, the room was quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, with a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. We even had a sea view! Third, the hotel facilities are comprehensive. The swimming pool on the third floor is huge, and my baby absolutely loved it. I highly recommend this hotel.
Our stay at South Nest was truly pleasant. The staff were attentive and approachable, making check-in quick and hassle-free. I initially had an issue with too much sunlight coming into the room even with the blinds closed, but the staff responded promptly and accommodated my request to transfer rooms.
If you value peace and quiet and don’t mind traveling a bit, this location is ideal. It’s slightly far from the city center, with buses, taxis, and minibuses as the main modes of transport. Nearby, you’ll find Chinese restaurants and fast-food options within walking distance. One standout feature is the pantry provided on every floor, allowing guests to cook their own meals if they wish.
Overall, the stay was comfortable and enjoyable — a great choice for those seeking a calm retreat away from the city buzz.

The hotel's location is super convenient! It's a 15-minute walk to the Avenue of Stars and just a 4-minute walk to the subway station, making transportation a breeze. Right outside the hotel, you'll find a bustling street with tons of great restaurants and dessert shops, which is really handy. The hotel service is excellent, there's a mini-fridge to store food, and the facilities have been renovated. Plus, there's plenty of space. Overall, a great experience!

The hotel is a decent distance from the subway station, about a ten-minute walk, which is quite convenient. The room environment is pretty good, and the facilities are relatively new. The price is also reasonable. The only downside compared to other hotels I've stayed at before is the lack of snack shops nearby!

This hotel offers good value for money. The breakfast isn't extensive, but it's perfectly adequate. The room had a living area, giving it an apartment-like feel, and overall it was clean and tidy. It was more than sufficient for my business trip in the morning. The location is also excellent, making it convenient to get to Central or the high-speed rail station. Hung Hom MTR station is right downstairs.

Stayed for a few days as a solo traveller and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Shower and toilet is a bit small but manageable for solo travellers, might be difficult if sharing a room with someone else. Worth noting that the hotel only provides paper cups and one-time use towels, more one-time use towels and plastic cutlery can be purchased from the vending machine downstairs. Overall, good value for money and situated nearby plenty of shopping malls, food options, and MTR stations.

I booked this room in advance and it was great. I've stayed here a few times and recommended it to friends. The convenience store and mall downstairs are super handy for shopping and dining. There's also a nice Japanese goods store just around the corner. Plus, it's only a 3-minute walk to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. This time, I even got lucky and saw 193 filming an ad nearby – he's so handsome!

It's truly rare to find a hotel with such great value for money in Hong Kong. The hotel is located near To Kwa Wan MTR station, making both bus and subway travel convenient. The room was arguably one of the largest I've stayed in in Hong Kong, offering ample space to move around. Although the furniture is a bit dated, it's thankfully clean and tidy. The hotel is well-managed and offers a shuttle service to Tsim Sha Tsui and West Kowloon Station, which is a definite bonus. I highly recommend this 5-star hotel, especially during peak holiday seasons.

Free upgrade to a premium room (with view): Very good, the city view was especially beautiful, and the front desk staff had excellent service.
Hotel shuttle bus service: Very convenient, it can reach many major tourist attractions.
Due to Hong Kong's plastic ban, free toothbrushes are not provided, but you can buy one for one dollar from a vending machine, so you don't need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The hotel is right next to Happy Valley, and it's not too far to walk to Causeway Bay, so the overall location is very good.

GGuest UserReally enjoy the hotel’s services, they offer free shuttle bus to and from tseun muen station every 15 minutes, I can get to the metro easily. The view from the hotel is so nice, great for a relaxing trip, you can visit the beach, enjoy the sauna and pool. The room is clean and comfortable, you can get cold drinking water in dispenser. Most of all, the staffs are all so helpful, they helped us order taxi for an early flight to the airport, they also patiently assisted in looking for my stuff that I left inside the room after checking out. Overall, really enjoy my stay. Most of all, the hotel is really beautiful and well-maintained.
GGuest UserThis is the newest of the three Disney hotels, and it feels like stepping into an explorer's lodge. The room was quite spacious, with views of the garden, pool, and even the sea from the window. The food and beverage options are similar to those in the park. There are no convenience stores or town amenities nearby, so it's best to bring anything you need from the city. I actually took the MTR out to Tung Chung just to stock up. Upon checkout, the hotel gives you a commemorative room key. The three hotels are connected by a seaside promenade, which is a nice walk if you have the time. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes, so you'll need to buy one on-site or bring your own.
GGuest UserThis hotel is perfect for travelers catching an early flight the next day. It's just a few minutes' walk to the departure hall, and finding the hotel is easy with clear signs guiding you from the airport arrivals. However, the facilities are a bit old. The room only has UK-style power outlets, but you can borrow an adapter for free from the front desk. Overall, it's a good stay.
AAnonymous UserBooked a room on a weekday, and they only informed me it was ready after 4:30 PM. They couldn't give me the room before 3 PM, and the room rate was about 20% higher than on other platforms. Other platforms also offer a 2 PM checkout, but they wouldn't extend it here.
I paid more for the room, got it late, and had to check out early. Are they trying to rip off loyal customers?
The other amenities were just average for a five-star hotel.
But the overall experience was really bad.
GGuest UserHighly recommend this hotel for its convenience and space, especially for Hong Kong standards!
Easy Transit: Very convenient to get to from the airport via the A31 bus.
Great Amenities: Plenty of local food options and a supermarket below the hotel.
Spacious Rooms: Considerably spacious for this price point compared to other Hong Kong hotels.
Clean & Fresh: The towels and sofa were surprisingly new and spotlessly clean.
Excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again!
FFreedomThis hotel offers good value for money. The breakfast isn't extensive, but it's perfectly adequate. CCandy_ZhengRoom: It's truly rare to find such a spacious room in Hong Kong at such a great value for money. The only minor downside is that the shower is combined with a bathtub. The room was clean and tidy, and they provided children's toothbrushes and slippers. They thoughtfully prepared various charging ports, so you just need to bring your own cable. The twin room only came with two pillows. Since it was just one adult and one child, I wanted an extra pillow to create a barrier for the child's bed, but couldn't find a third one. However, I'm sure I could have requested one from housekeeping.
Facilities: The hotel has plenty of restaurants, and there are vending machines right by the elevators in the lobby. The elevators are fast, so no long waits. The pool was very clean, and the outdoor children's playground was comfortable, though a bit sunny during the day. The beach is also very close.
Surrounding Amenities: There's a supermarket, 7-Eleven, and a variety of Chinese and Western restaurants nearby.
NNiSA183Five out of five stars! A mountain and sea sanctuary next to the city – Hong Kong Discovery Bay Hotel ✨
I highly recommend Hong Kong Discovery Bay Hotel! Away from the urban hustle and bustle, nestled between the mountains and sea of Lantau Island, checking in feels like stepping into a paradise. The vacation vibes are absolutely top-notch.
🌊 Rooms: Spacious views, incredibly thoughtful details
The sea view room we booked was a delightful surprise! The space is exceptionally generous for a Hong Kong hotel, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the turquoise sea and green mountains. Waking up to such a healing beautiful view is amazing. The bathroom features an oversized bathtub with a view, allowing you to relax while gazing at the ocean – an absolutely fantastic experience. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Daily housekeeping was meticulous, making for a very pleasant stay.
🌴 Environment and Facilities: Perfect for family fun and relaxation
The hotel boasts a serene environment with elegant garden landscaping, and right next door is the iconic waterfront White Chapel, perfect for stunning photos.
• Outdoor Pool: A 25-meter pool directly facing the sea, offering breathtaking sunset views in the evening.
• Free Shuttle Bus: Conveniently connects to Sunny Bay, Disneyland, Tung Chung, and other locations.
👩💼 Service: Warm, attentive, gentle, and thoughtful
The staff provided smiling service throughout, communicated smoothly in Mandarin, and check-in was efficient and swift. Any requests were handled incredibly quickly.
GGuest UserThanks to the Regal crew I can see this is a big hotel serving lots of tour etc. This is my first time staying at Regal even had been living in the neighbourhood for decades - for this reason I can imagine why the rooms seems to be old and outdated.
From other reviews I found there's a self laundry service on the 8/F (HK$50 per token for 1 wash or 1 dryer) surprisingly there's a pantry as well - but my swipe card won't let me in. I haven't try any other facilities so can't tell. Floor staff are very polite I would say.
KKeyanbugaokeyanThe location was pretty good, with easy access to transport, restaurants, shops, and banks – everything you could need, which was great. The room was also reasonably clean, and the service was excellent. I'm not sure if I misheard, but the front desk guy at check-in said he'd upgraded us to a higher floor. Soon after, a cleaning lady even brought us a large bottle of water. However, when I asked her to send up breakfast, as I was told I could, she said sorry. The bathroom door didn't close properly and was tiny, really tiny. The hairdryer was useless; you could barely feel any air, so definitely bring your own next time. My main complaint, which seems to be a common issue, was the connecting door between our two rooms. It didn't open and provided zero sound insulation. We could hear everything our neighbors said and did as if we were right there with them. If you're a light sleeper, be sure to ask about this beforehand. Otherwise, everything else was satisfactory.
