Overall, the room was very spacious, and I even got a free upgrade to a room with two 1.8-meter beds. The hotel's WeChat service staff were incredibly friendly. They gave me great recommendations for seafood restaurants and even helped me with arrangements, which I really appreciate. My only slight disappointment was the room's location, as I ended up with a side room, but that's on me for not doing enough research beforehand.

This is a courtyard-style hotel, beautifully situated halfway up the mountain. Robert checked us in with excellent and incredibly patient service, explaining all the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. I was extremely pleased with the room upon entering; it was wonderfully cool and comfortable because the air conditioning had been turned on in advance. The room was also very spacious, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Any service we needed was promptly delivered by staff, and even our takeaways were brought to the room by a robot! The hotel felt very safe and secure. I saw a swimming pool below my room, but unfortunately, my itinerary was too packed to enjoy it. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

The concierge was incredibly knowledgeable about Haikou! While he was helping me get a taxi, we chatted, and he recommended I go to the Cloud Library to watch the sunrise, which was only a 15-minute taxi ride away. Afterwards, I explored the Qilou Old Street, rented a bike, and cycled around taking photos – it was a fantastic experience. When I returned, the doorman greeted me from afar and held the door open. The whole experience was great, and lying in my sea-view room watching Century Bridge was so relaxing.

Pros: + close to Haikou Meilan Airport + free shuttle bus to the airport (booking needed) + free laundry amenities + hotel breakfast (at Orange Hotel next door) + helpful staff who do try their best to work with what they have Cons: - severely understaffed (only 1 person working at the counter, no bellhops) so check-in was slow in large groups - ageing facilities - sad gym area that doubles as sauna from the heat - in-hotel restaurant and cafe was closed - no aircon in lobby and most spaces - greenhouse effect from glass and heat made everywhere stuffy during daytime - dusty aircon in room, needs servicing protip: as it is scorching in Haikou, please request an extra aircon card from them when you check-in, so you can keep the aircon working to cool the room while you are away. you get what you paid for, but it works!

We stayed in rooms 7603 and 7609. The hotel's location is excellent, and the sea view from the sixth floor is beautiful. The service was also good. The downside is that room 03 had a strong musty smell, and in room 09, we found a small gecko. We called the service hotline, and they quickly helped us remove it, but the hotel really should do a thorough check before guests check in. The facilities are very old; the TV only showed channels and was very laggy, and it only had HDMI input, no screen mirroring functionality. The Bluetooth connection on the phone only played sound, so we just went to sleep. In the evening, we went to a nearby restaurant and tried Wenchang chicken; the coconut chicken was quite crispy, and the steamed chicken was very tender – both are worth trying. We also ordered stir-fried beef because we saw many cows on the way, but the beef was very tough, so I wouldn't recommend it. The coconut rice was also quite delicious. The next morning, we went to a nearby mountain to watch the sunrise, but unfortunately, the clouds were too thick, and we couldn't see it.

Amazing sea view, clean room, and excellent value for the price. The beach is beautiful, clean, and easy to access. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and provided outstanding service. Although they don’t speak much English, they were always willing to help and communicated effectively using translation apps and WeChat. When rainwater leaked through our window during a typhoon, they immediately moved us to another room and resolved the issue professionally. A few minor downsides: the mirror frame was rusty, there was no wardrobe, and the bathroom layout isn’t ideal for families due to the transparent glass and shared door. The hotel is also a bit far from downtown Sanya and Yalong Bay, but Didi is readily available, arrives quickly, and makes it easy to get around. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it for the stunning ocean view, great service, and excellent value for money.

The Hilton Haikou, a long-standing brand for over a decade, boasts excellent and well-maintained facilities. The air conditioning is remarkably quiet, even surpassing many higher-end five-star hotels—it's simply superb! The hotel's location on Binhai Avenue offers convenient access to transportation. The room included several useful packages, and the breakfast selection was very rich. The guest relations staff member was incredibly thoughtful, having adjusted the room temperature to the most comfortable setting even before check-in. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for leisure.

This is our third time in Sanya, and this time we came with my parents and two kids. Both kids were extremely happy with the family room we stayed in. It was spacious and bright, with complete and clean facilities. The window offered a sea view, and directly across the street downstairs was Coconut Dream Corridor. The kids went to the beach every day, which was super convenient. Eating was also very easy, with supermarkets and restaurants right downstairs. Public transport and taxis were readily available too. It's definitely a top choice for family trips! 👍🏻

I've stayed in other hotels in Sanya Bay before and found them to have poor soundproofing and airplane noise. The walk to the beach was long, and the underpass was dirty, which made me reluctant to stay in Sanya Bay again. However, this time at the Pullman Oceanview, none of those issues existed. It's a short walk from the public area downstairs to the beach access, and there's even an elevator. The underpass was also very clean. My child loved the water slides and went on them many times. The kids' club isn't huge, but it has everything needed and is very clean. I'll definitely prioritize staying here when I come back to Sanya Bay. A big thanks to our butler Vivi for her meticulous care.

Thanks to Jenny, our room was upgraded to one with a balcony facing the sea directly from the bed. Our stay was quite pleasant and satisfying. The hotel's location is also great, very close to Century Bridge, Hainan University, and the snack street at the south gate of Hainan University. It's also not far from popular spots like Qilou Old Street and Yunlong. The complimentary travel photoshoot was a wonderful bonus; we got some lovely family photos. Highly recommend!
