Our stay in Sanya this time was incredibly comfortable! I have to give a hundred points to Manager Shen at the front desk! We arrived quite early on the day, about two hours before check-in. We were originally just planning to drop off our luggage and explore, but Manager Shen, knowing we were tired, quickly helped us arrange a clean room. It was so thoughtful! Later, we asked him for recommendations on where to eat seafood without getting ripped off and try local specialties, and the places he suggested were truly affordable and fresh, simply amazing! Such dedicated service means we'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Sanya! The room was also great, very clean, and I loved the bathtub on the balcony.

My stay was initially quite pleasant. The front-line staff were consistently warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout. When a small issue arose with our travel photos, the hotel promptly communicated and resolved it, which I appreciated. I thought I was going to have a wonderful experience, but it was completely ruined by one utterly unprofessional staff member, plummeting my satisfaction! While riding the shuttle bus, we politely asked the shuttle driver about the hotel's attractions and photo spots. The driver was halfway through explaining when another person nearby suddenly interjected and answered for him! Her attitude was extremely rude, cold, and dismissive. She was sarcastic the entire time, even accusing us of not speaking clearly. We were just asking basic, straightforward questions about attractions, and I truly don't understand how we could have possibly expressed ourselves more 'clearly'. When we politely asked about photo spots, she flat-out said there weren't any, and was incredibly impatient. Yet, later we saw clear signs for photo spots all over the hotel. We got zero useful information, only a belly full of frustration and anger! Afterward, the hotel told us this person was a 'secondary employee' and wasn't on duty, which is why she wasn't wearing an ID badge. I completely reject this flimsy explanation! Why was she wearing a uniform, riding a guest shuttle, and casually interjecting to address guests if she wasn't on duty? It's one thing to be unfamiliar with hotel operations and lack service awareness, but she didn't even have basic human decency. She seemed to be working with a chip on her shoulder, acting condescendingly, as if we, the guests, were accommodating her bad mood! In stark contrast, all the other shuttle drivers were kind, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic, creating an incredibly jarring difference! The hotel's reputation, carefully built by its front-line staff, was completely destroyed by this 'secondary employee' who showed no rules, no professionalism, and no respect. The hotel merely offered a casual explanation of her identity without any indication of intending to improve. Such tolerance for employee misconduct is truly disheartening. I will never recommend this hotel, nor will I ever stay here again!

Waking up to the ocean view right outside my window instantly lifted my spirits. This place is truly perfect for a vacation! The room was very clean and comfortable, and you could tell a lot of thought went into the bedding. They even provided pillows of different heights to choose from. The common area on the first floor and the rooftop are both super photogenic. It's so relaxing just sitting here and enjoying the scenery. Plus, it's super close to the beach, just a short walk away!

The environment is absolutely fantastic, with a breathtaking sea view right from the window. The hotel service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff were all very kind and polite. During my stay, they even surprised me with fresh fruit and specialty drinks, which was such a warm and lovely touch – they really pay attention to the details. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, making for an overall extremely comfortable stay. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful sea view!

They offer a great variety of room types, and the service is incredibly attentive and warm! ❤️ The staff actively helps with luggage, and there are two independent swimming pools within the courtyard. Right across the street is Coconut Dream Corridor, and the rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning sea views. 🌊 📍 **Location is absolutely perfect!** Located right next to Sanya Bay's Coconut Dream Corridor, it's a mere 2-5 minute walk to the beach. The beach directly opposite is fantastic for photos and less crowded! Step out, and you're surrounded by coconut groves and orange sunsets 🌅. In the evening, you can enjoy a stroll with the sea breeze. There are also plenty of authentic local snacks, seafood stalls, and coconut chicken restaurants nearby. For snacks, you can head to the night market – you don't have to go far to savor all of Hainan's flavors!! 🏡 **Room Experience (real photos, no filter)** * Simple and clean, with an Instagram-worthy design. The lighting is excellent, making every corner photogenic. * Floor-to-ceiling windows offer sea views; you wake up to the clear blue ocean and can even watch the sunset! * The bedding is comfortable and changed for every guest. Soundproofing is good, ensuring a quiet and peaceful stay. 💰 **Incredible Value for Money!** The price is very reasonable, around 100 yuan per person, and even more affordable during the off-season. 🤩 A high-value-for-money guesthouse with sea views right by Coconut Dream Corridor. It's clean, convenient, perfect for photos, and truly worth booking!

Facilities: Great, better than I expected, it exceeded my expectations. Just a heads up, a few of the EV charging stations were out of order, they could use a fix. Cleanliness: Also great, thumbs up! Environment: It's right near the Space City, so you can watch rocket launches, and the surrounding beaches are fantastic. Service: Lisa provided excellent, attentive service. We'll definitely be back to stay here again.

Stayed two nights at this B&B and booked the boathouse room. The setting is absolutely beautiful; you open the door right onto the ocean. The room facilities and cleanliness were excellent. Seeing such a gorgeous room instantly lifted my spirits. The front desk service was also great. It was super clean, and I slept so soundly—I really loved it. The location is perfect, and the hotel itself is even more so. I felt completely safe and comfortable, even staying alone.

Facilities: Since it's an older hotel, the facilities are a bit dated but perfectly functional. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Nice. Service: We booked a family two-bedroom suite on Ctrip. A dedicated butler, Vivi, added us on WeChat the day before to introduce the hotel and understand our preferences. Vivi was wonderful and even upgraded us to a sea-view three-bedroom suite for free! It was larger than our original room, and they even set up a small tent and a rocking horse in the living room. Every day, she checked if we needed anything, and her responses were very prompt. The hotel also provides strollers. Because our original flight schedule changed, Vivi asked if we'd like a late check-out on the day we left, which was incredibly helpful for a family with children and seniors. They even prepared a souvenir for the kids. It was a great trip!

Since it was the off-season, we received a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room, which was a wonderful surprise with its glacier theme. The stay included tickets to the Ocean Park, which was very convenient. There's a free shuttle bus right outside the hotel, and hotel guests also get free parking for their car when leaving the island. Breakfast was fantastic – varied and plentiful, with both Chinese and Western options. The hotel's overall decor is grand but not old-fashioned, and there's a gym and swimming pool. Our butler, Jin Jing, was also excellent; she promptly answered all our questions and thoughtfully helped us plan our itinerary. I highly recommend staying at the European Castle Hotel when you visit Hainan Flower Island; the experience was superb!

GGuest UserWe stayed in the Wild Goose room type during the May Day holiday. During our stay, we saw squirrels, chameleons, and small monkeys in the park. Compared to Yunnan and Hangzhou, the squirrels here were the biggest I've ever seen, which shows the excellent ecological environment on the mountain. The hotel's breakfast was great, much better than the Hilton Yalong Bay where we stayed the previous two days. My picky eater child's appetite proved that, and the breakfast restaurant offers sea views, which makes eating more enjoyable. If you like peace and quiet, I recommend staying here for two nights. If you prefer a lively atmosphere, I'd suggest staying by the sea. It's lovely to quietly enjoy the sea view here, dine at a sea-view restaurant, and swim in a sea-view pool. However, if you want to experience bustling night markets and seafood stalls, you'll need to go down the mountain, which is quite inconvenient (as I got a bit carsick twice going down, even just from the lobby to Baihua Valley, a personal experience). The resort is divided into several areas, essentially small hilltops, from which you can see Haitang Bay (we could see a bit from our room) and Yalong Bay. Different room types, restaurants, and pools are also distributed across these various hilltops. If you have specific requirements regarding these, I recommend calling the hotel beforehand. After check-in, a manager contacts you. This time, Manager Sun who contacted us was excellent; she responded very promptly to any questions. She helped us book a guide service that the hotel cooperates with the scenic area. Additionally, the housekeeping staff would call to confirm if cleaning was needed. Overall, the hotel's service is definitely up to standard.

GGuest UserDue to noise issues in our previous lake-view family room, we reported it to Gina, who then moved us to a family room in the main building. Overall, this room had lower ceilings and older facilities than the previous one, but it was more spacious. The best part was how quiet it was; after 10 PM, there was virtually no noise outside, which was great for light sleepers. I really appreciate Gina from Guest Services for her attention to detail; she even prepared a small cake for the child, who was thrilled. The hotel pool's bubble activity is every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 PM. My child had so much fun they completely forgot themselves, but then developed a fever that evening. When I asked the hotel for an ear thermometer, they replied that they only had mercury thermometers. How could an A+ parent-child hotel not have an ear thermometer? While an ear thermometer might not be as accurate as a mercury one, it's difficult to use a mercury thermometer with very young children who might not cooperate. Of course, we usually bring our own ear thermometer when we travel, but there are always unexpected situations, like forgetting it this time. Service: Most of the restaurant staff, cleaning ladies in public areas, and bellhops at the entrance actively greeted us, and they were all very good. Getting Around: There's a night market within walking distance of the hotel. The beach is just a left turn out of the hotel and across the road. The hotel can arrange a car to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, which was a filming location for 'If You Are the One 2' – just ask the Golden Key concierge in the lobby. For other places, you generally need to take a taxi. For example, if you want to go to West Island, it's at least a 45-minute taxi ride. If you're staying for three days or less, I honestly recommend just staying at the hotel. Don't venture out too much, or you'll lose the meaning of a vacation and get too tired. Issues encountered in the room: 1. The most memorable thing was that my child's white socks turned black very quickly after walking on the floor. It seemed the room floor wasn't mopped daily, as I also saw hair near the dining table that hadn't been cleaned up. However, the housekeeping staff were quite considerate; they noticed we needed more water and directly provided 8 bottles. Linens and room consumables were fully replenished after previous guests checked out. But when our extended stay room was cleaned the next day, they took away the child's bathrobe and didn't replace it, nor did they replenish consumables. I had to call later that night to request them. Overall, it was easy to tell that different people were cleaning on different days. 2. There were also some hardware issues, such as the curtain and screen window switches being reversed. The lighting modes were quite unintuitive; for example, there was no night light mode or a mode to only turn on the lights above the bedside table. The shower drain worked better than in the previous room, flowing smoothly without overflowing. However, the hot water in the shower took too long to come out – definitely over ten seconds – so long that I thought hot water wasn't coming out at all. 3. For dining, we only experienced breakfast and the buffet dinner. My child particularly enjoyed the fruit at the buffet dinner and the mermaid show. The food quality overall wasn't particularly outstanding; it was just enough to fill you up, with no dishes leaving a special impression. The photo is of breakfast. Long after checking out, I realized I had left some items, but I didn't receive any call or feedback from the hotel. Although if they had called, I probably would have said to discard them, I wonder if the current hotel process for lost and found items is to wait for guests to call and inquire, otherwise, they assume it's not wanted and dispose of it? We experienced the afternoon tea and travel photography included in the package. We didn't go to the DIY activity.

RRay142857Pros: The hotel offers a significant price advantage among beachfront hotels in Haitang Bay, making it ideal for families who want to stay by the sea but have a limited budget. It's very close to the ocean; you can walk straight out to the beach. At night, you can hear the sound of the waves from the balcony. It's a relatively convenient 1.4 km walk to 68 Global Food Street, seafood stalls, and convenience stores. It's quite family-friendly, featuring a kids' playground and club. The rooms are spacious, with basic room types around 50㎡, comfortable bedding, a scenic balcony, and expansive sea views from higher floors. Breakfast offers a rich variety, including a live bakery station. Cons: There was a long wait to check in with no concierge to guide us, and after checking in, there was no follow-up from a butler, no hotel introduction, no kids' activity guide, no map, no fruit platter in the room, and certainly no inquiry or arrangements before our arrival. Overall, the service felt far below par, but for this price range, the value for money is still decent. We later received a thoughtful greeting from Ms. Linna of the hotel's guest relations department two days into our stay, which was much appreciated!

LLililixiaojieMy kids and I chose the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay for our vacation, and the overall experience was incredibly pleasant. The rooms, dining, photo ops, and family-friendly facilities were all outstanding. Here's my honest review: **Guest Rooms** The room was spacious with a simple yet elegant design, exuding a strong holiday vibe. Our sea-view room offered an unobstructed panorama of the ocean and garden from the balcony. The indoor facilities were comprehensive, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation, and the toiletries were of good quality. The hotel thoughtfully provided special toiletries and slippers for children, a very considerate detail for families. The room had excellent soundproofing; despite the lively activities in the resort, it was wonderfully quiet inside, ensuring a peaceful stay. **Dining** The hotel offers a wide selection of dining options. Breakfast is a buffet with a variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including local Hainanese specialties, fresh fruits, vegetables, and drinks – something for everyone. You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors; eating al fresco with the sea breeze was a fantastic experience. The highlight is the unique underwater restaurant, where you can watch marine life swim by as you eat, creating a truly special atmosphere. There's also a dedicated children's meal area with blandly flavored yet adorably presented dishes that kids love. The staff were enthusiastic, promptly refilling food and clearing tables. **Photo Opportunities** The hotel is a photographer's paradise with picturesque spots everywhere, no need to go searching for backdrops. The beachfront lawn, the popular spiral staircase, the sandy beach, charming wooden cabins, and the underwater restaurant each offer a different style, perfect for capturing vacation vibes or atmospheric shots. The hotel even offers photography services; the photo spots are uncrowded, making the process relaxed and enjoyable. The raw photos were high quality, making it easy to snap beautiful pictures and capture those precious travel moments. **Family Fun** This is an excellent destination for family holidays, with a rich variety of activities. Outdoors, there are multiple swimming pools, including shallow areas and a children's splash pool with waterslides, ensuring both safety and fun. The indoor kids' club is well-equipped with blocks, picture books, and play equipment to keep children entertained. The hotel organizes daily activities like bubble shows, DIY crafts, and beach games, with staff on hand to supervise. The sand on the beach downstairs is fine and soft, and you can borrow sand-digging tools for free, allowing kids to play freely while parents relax completely. **Summary** I'd highly recommend this hotel. Its location is convenient for shopping and getting around. The rooms are comfortable, the food is diverse and delicious, there are abundant photo opportunities, and the family facilities and services are thorough and attentive. Whether you're on a family trip, looking for great photo ops, or simply want a relaxing getaway, this place is perfect.

GGuest UserWhat truly impressed me about this hotel wasn't the ocean view from the window, but the warmth provided by our butler, Coral. The hotel is very close to the sea. Upon check-in, we found fresh fruit and two boxes of milk on the table – not just a perfunctory welcome gift. After Coral added us on WeChat, every message felt like chatting with a friend. We stayed in the sea-view room for two nights and absolutely loved lounging in bed. The room facilities were well-maintained, and the bedding was crisp and fluffy. At check-out, we even received a small seashell souvenir. That feeling of being remembered, more than any hardware upgrade, makes me want to return.

GGuest UserWe chose Shangri-La for our family trip this time. There were plenty of activities and great facilities for kids, so the adults could really relax. We stayed for 4 nights and 3 days, and we were very satisfied with everything, especially the butler Bella's excellent and dedicated service. She even gave us a small cake and gifts, which was a lovely touch. We'll definitely choose this place again next time. ✅ Room Type We stayed in a Horizon Club room, and I believe we got a free upgrade to a sea-view room with the best view. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, but I hope we'll be lucky enough to get a great room again next time. ✅ Activities The kids' club had a rich variety of fun parent-child classes, and you could even earn points to exchange for small gifts. Our family's favorite was swimming in the pool, and they also had go-karts. The cooking class was great too; the purple sweet potato cheese lava pancakes we made were absolutely delicious! 👏👏👏 ✅ Dining The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and there was even a dedicated buffet area for children! 🙋🏻 Baby wontons, fried snacks, yogurt, donuts, and even special high chairs for kids. Our little one insisted on sitting alone at every meal, not with us. 🤗🤗 The Horizon Club also offered soft drinks, afternoon tea, and a light dinner all day long. My mom even said not to book a room with executive lounge access next time, or we'd be eating all day long! 😹😹 There were also hotel ponies and ostriches. Our baby rode a pony this time and said he wants to come back next year to ride again. All in all, a big thank you to our butler Bella; we'll look for you again next time. We were extremely satisfied with our stay.

GGuest UserMy extensive research definitely paid off! I chose the perfect first hotel for my Sanya trip. I was a bit worried based on some online reviews, but after two days, it totally exceeded my expectations. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, and the location is excellent; you can see the ocean right from the lobby. It has a huge pool and water play area that seamlessly blend into its private beach. While the decor is a bit dated and the facilities are older, the bones of the place are solid. The breakfast buffet was also decent and, for me personally, met my needs. Not far from the hotel are Baishuigu Valley and Yatai Commercial Street, with night markets, BBQ, and restaurants, making dining very convenient. After dinner, strolling back with the sea breeze was both good for digestion and very pleasant. Oh, and the hotel also offers free airport shuttle and duty-free shop buses, which is great. It might have been the off-season, but I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a room with an unbeatable sea view. For this price in Yalong Bay, it's excellent value for money. The front desk staff, especially CC, provided very thoughtful service. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Yalong Bay.

GGuest UserStaying in a Banyan Tree Sanya Ocean View Villa was an absolutely incredible experience! The 360-square-meter villa was spacious and comfortable, with its red tiled roofs and white walls blending Eastern charm with tropical flair. The private pool, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, offered glimpses of the shimmering ocean through the greenery – truly serene and relaxing. The butler service was exceptionally attentive, from the welcome drinks to the turndown gifts, every detail was perfect. I highly recommend the Banyan Tree SPA; the therapists were professional, and the tropical oriental treatment, combining scrubs and massages, melted all my fatigue away. The sunset ritual at the Sea Breeze Bar was romantic, and the Hainanese noodles at Ming Yue restaurant were surprisingly delicious. The privacy here is outstanding, making it a true hidden gem for an island getaway!

GGuest UserEnvironment: As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the sunset and a refreshing ocean breeze. The hotel is absolutely stunning and massive! The coconut groves, lawns, pool, and sandy beach provide endless photo opportunities – it's just amazing! The room has a small balcony, and when you open the door, the view is expansive. Facilities: They had a baby playpen and bathtub ready for me. Although some online reviews mentioned the facilities being a bit old, everything I needed was there. Hot water was fine, hairdryer worked well. The only minor issue was the air conditioning wasn't very cold, but it was still acceptable. The small balcony was perfect for drying clothes quickly, which was very convenient. Hygiene: There were notices on the table about geckos, ants, and insects, but I didn't encounter any bugs during my stay. The cleaning staff were also very efficient. With all my baby's things making a bit of a mess, the auntie quickly tidied everything up for me. Service: My requests were met very quickly! I called for band-aids, to have dishes cleared, for room cleaning, to order a kids' meal, and for a late check-out – all were handled promptly! A special shout-out to Butler Tudou (Potato) – incredibly enthusiastic, proactive, and provided excellent service! Also, the staff at the pool area were very warm and patient, and they even helped me inflate my swim ring for free. Another highlight was the complimentary Magnolia photoshoot. The photographer was very professional. I just told him what I wanted, and he quickly found suitable locations and patiently helped me set up props. I initially thought the five complimentary photos would be enough, but after seeing the final shots, I didn't hesitate to pay for more. They made a perfect gift for my baby's first birthday 🎁. The breakfast and buffet dinner included in the package offered a rich variety of options and tasted great. The noodles for breakfast really suited a Hunan palate, and there were various snacks. Dinner was a DIY hotpot buffet, so we didn't eat out at all these past few days, even though it seems there's a food street nearby, haha. There were also some parent-child activities, but my baby was too young to participate. Overall, it exceeded my expectations. For a family trip, it offers great value for money.
