This stay truly exceeded my expectations! As soon as I walked in, I was amazed by the elegant, antique-style lobby. The Chinese-inspired decor was sophisticated and grand, exuding exquisite charm and a wonderful ambiance everywhere you looked. The hotel also features a clean and tidy swimming pool with crystal-clear water and a comfortable environment – perfect for relaxing. I especially want to commend KK at the front desk; her service was outstanding. She was patient and professional during check-in, answered all my questions, and was gentle and thorough throughout, which made me feel incredibly welcome. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, and the soundproofing was good, making for a quiet and comfortable overall experience. The location is convenient and makes getting around easy, offering great value for money. The service, environment, and amenities all show great care and attention to detail, making for a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend it to everyone; I'll definitely choose this hotel first for my next trip. It deserves a five-star rating!

My stay was initially quite pleasant. The front-line staff were consistently warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout. When a small issue arose with our travel photos, the hotel promptly communicated and resolved it, which I appreciated. I thought I was going to have a wonderful experience, but it was completely ruined by one utterly unprofessional staff member, plummeting my satisfaction!
While riding the shuttle bus, we politely asked the shuttle driver about the hotel's attractions and photo spots. The driver was halfway through explaining when another person nearby suddenly interjected and answered for him! Her attitude was extremely rude, cold, and dismissive. She was sarcastic the entire time, even accusing us of not speaking clearly. We were just asking basic, straightforward questions about attractions, and I truly don't understand how we could have possibly expressed ourselves more 'clearly'. When we politely asked about photo spots, she flat-out said there weren't any, and was incredibly impatient. Yet, later we saw clear signs for photo spots all over the hotel. We got zero useful information, only a belly full of frustration and anger!
Afterward, the hotel told us this person was a 'secondary employee' and wasn't on duty, which is why she wasn't wearing an ID badge. I completely reject this flimsy explanation! Why was she wearing a uniform, riding a guest shuttle, and casually interjecting to address guests if she wasn't on duty? It's one thing to be unfamiliar with hotel operations and lack service awareness, but she didn't even have basic human decency. She seemed to be working with a chip on her shoulder, acting condescendingly, as if we, the guests, were accommodating her bad mood!
In stark contrast, all the other shuttle drivers were kind, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic, creating an incredibly jarring difference! The hotel's reputation, carefully built by its front-line staff, was completely destroyed by this 'secondary employee' who showed no rules, no professionalism, and no respect. The hotel merely offered a casual explanation of her identity without any indication of intending to improve. Such tolerance for employee misconduct is truly disheartening. I will never recommend this hotel, nor will I ever stay here again!

Wutong Jiuli, sleeping by the sea.
Hidden within Sanya's blue and white Santorini—Tianya Town, you're just a step away from the ocean, living alongside the waves.
The pure white, wabi-sabi inspired space frames 270° views of the azure sea, blue sky, and sunset glow. The floor-to-ceiling windows act as a natural canvas, turning the Guanyin of the South Sea and the 'Orange Sea' into the first sight you wake up to each day.
Brew a pot of tea and listen to the tides, or embrace the starry sky in the private hot spring on the terrace.
Wutong Jiuli is more than just a guesthouse; it’s a gentle promise between you and Sanya's sea.
I immensely enjoyed my stay in Central Coast Sea.View Hotel Sanya for 4 nights. Excellent breakfast hall and food selection. Excellent butler service by Levi . You can request water, towels, utensils (cutlery) from WeChat message. Also, the complimentary fruit plate was excellent . ( look for the mango mini size and passion fruit).
The front desk staff ( Lila ) was very helpful in ordering food from ******* ( dumplings ) and then I simply send her money from AliPay. As of April 2025, There is a major construction ( underwater tunnel ) and there is some noise, however the noise subsided at night around 9pm.
Overall, highly recommend . Excellent hotel, amazing views, amazing location, very central and amazing value compared to other 5 star hotels in Sanya Hainan area.
No doubt, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sanya.

Went to Sanya with friends this time and randomly picked a hotel. As soon as we entered, we saw a huge swimming pool. The rooms also had separate wet and dry areas, plus a 'starry sky' ceiling which kids would definitely love! The outdoor pool lights up at night, and there's a reading area in the lobby. It's super close to Yedream Corridor, and convenient for getting to Tianya Haijiao and West Island. The best part is it's really close to the airport! There are seafood restaurants right outside, and the front desk staff are very thoughtful, even helping with luggage 🧳! Getting a taxi is easy too, highly recommend!

After our trip to Shimei Bay, we arrived at the hotel with my entire family, including young children and elderly parents, along with several large suitcases. We were understandably quite tired from the journey. Upon arrival, it was clear that the hotel had a significant shortage of staff both inside and outside the lobby – a stark contrast to Shimei Bay, where service personnel were readily available everywhere. Although there weren't many guests checking in at the time, and the scene wasn't particularly busy, given our large group and numerous bags, I had to proactively request a luggage cart to make things easier. For a resort hotel that prides itself on the guest experience, the initial service response would be much better if it were more proactive and if staffing levels were more adequate.
Regarding the room, the promotional pictures I saw when booking showed a sea-facing view with a visible beach. However, the actual view from our room was quite different from what we expected. While we could see the sea in the distance, our primary view was of the hotel's pool area, and the beach wasn't visible at all. The visual impression didn't match the promotional images.
During the Chinese New Year period, the hotel organized various activities, some free and some with a charge, which is understandable. However, it was quite surprising to find that even digging for sand crabs on the public beach area required an additional fee. Compared to the hotel we stayed at previously in Shimei Bay, the activity planning here was indeed a bit lackluster.
On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent. There was a rich variety of options, especially the Pandan Tofu Pudding, Pandan Pancakes, and various Hainan noodles. These were not only distinctive but also delicious, adding a wonderful culinary delight to our mornings.
What truly impressed us was the mature food scene around the hotel. From Coconut Chicken, Wenchang Chicken, Ding'an Jumping Beef (which can be hotpot or BBQ), Baoluo Noodles, Hainan Noodles, to all sorts of desserts and snacks – the choices were incredibly diverse. This added a lot of local flavor and memorable gastronomic experiences to our trip.
The hotel's beach area itself was quite good. The sea breeze, sand quality, and the overall experience were very relaxing and comfortable.

Stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it. The facilities are comprehensive, and the cleaning was spotless. The butler service was excellent, and the environment is beautiful. We had a 270-degree sea view room, and there's also a public swimming pool, gym, and laundry room. It's definitely a great choice for a stay in Tianya Town!

I chose this hotel because of its exclusive access to the beach and Coconut Dream Corridor – the views are stunning! The room layout was well-designed and very quiet. The butler service was also excellent. When my child got a small scratch at the pool, the duty manager even sent afternoon tea, a fruit platter, and a plush toy. The complimentary photo shoot on Paipai Island with the booking was also great; the photos turned out beautiful. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. Oh, and the fire dance performance was spectacular, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious, even better than what we had later at the Hilton Sanya Yalong Bay!

This Seaview B&B is truly a healing experience. The overall pure white, minimalist style is incredibly chic and visually stunning. The infinity pool seamlessly blends with the ocean, offering an expansive and breathtaking view – every photo you take here will be picture-perfect. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room provide a magnificent sea view, and the environment is quiet and serene. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night is incredibly peaceful. The entire place is clean and tidy, with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. It's truly the perfect place to stay if you're looking to unwind in Sanya.

February 21, 2026 – Stayed in a Sea View Family Room
During our Spring Festival trip to the western side of Hainan, Ocean Flower Island was a crucial stop. We planned a two-night stay and, for convenience, chose the highly acclaimed Oubao Hotel on the island.
1. **Parking:** If you're driving, you can directly access the island and navigate to the Oubao Hotel. There's an underground parking lot, and if it's full, staff can direct you to other nearby parking areas. For those leaving the island, you can register at the front desk in advance to enjoy free parking.
2. **Hotel:** The hotel is massive in scale. The majestic lion sculptures and fountain outside the main entrance are grand, especially at night with the interwoven lighting, it feels like entering another world. It boasts the most single-unit guest rooms in Asia, composed of four interconnected Y-shaped European castles, each with a unique natural theme: forest, ocean, castle, and glacier. Our room was in the Glacier Castle, with corridors and rooms featuring a blue and white palette and abundant glacier and animal elements. The ground floors of the four castles connect to form the hotel lobby and check-in area. The space is vast, with a cathedral-like glass dome ceiling. In the center below, there was a festive New Year display, a vibrant and joyful scene. On one side of the lobby, two grand, symmetrical spiral staircases descend from the second floor, one white and one red, both adorned with flowers, creating a noble and elegant photo spot. The lobby has four exits, each leading to a different castle. After checking in at the front desk, you choose your path based on your room. Each castle has over ten elevators. The entire process left me with one impression: grandness!
3. **Room:** Both the main room and the bathroom were very spacious. It had one large bed and one smaller bed; the small bed, shaped like a train engine, was a nice touch, and the bedding was comfortable. The room's decor and configuration were quite simple and standard, but the glacier theme, with polar bear and penguin elements everywhere, added a refreshing touch. The shower was good, and it was quite rare that the shower enclosure hardly leaked. The window faced the sea, but there was a garden green belt between the castles, so the sea was distant and not a spectacular, unobstructed view. However, we were lucky enough to catch the sunset on our check-in day. The afterglow of the sunset painted the sea, fishing boats, bridge, and villa complex in our view a beautiful reddish hue. This combination and visual experience were stunning and definitely a plus.
4. **Breakfast:** The breakfast restaurant had palace-like high ceilings and space, arranged in a long strip, which made the food retrieval path a bit inefficient. The dishes were abundant and diverse, with local specialties. During our two-day stay, we sampled Hainan Yi noodles, Hou'an noodles, coffee cake, coconut cake, pumpkin cake, and other local delicacies. My elder child loved the Hou'an noodles so much she had two bowls every morning. The dessert selection was also very rich.
5. **Other Facilities and Offers:** During our two-day stay, we experienced the following: On the first evening, we attended a music festival and firework show at the Guanhai Park, with discounted tickets for hotel guests. There's a free bus shuttle near the hotel entrance that goes to places like the Ocean Park and the Fitness Center. We took this shuttle on the second day to swim at the Fitness Center. The hotel's own pool was unavailable, but we could use the Fitness Center's pool for free. It's a standard 50-meter lap pool, and it was my first time experiencing such a pool. There's also a mini-train station on the island not far from the hotel entrance, but we didn't use it.
6. **Service:** All the staff we encountered were very responsible and professional, indicating a high level of overall training.
In summary, it was a truly perfect stay, making it a top choice for accommodation when visiting Ocean Flower Island. Besides meeting basic needs for food, entertainment, and lodging, it also offered a sense of grandeur that is quite rare.

VVitalii TarasiukJust checked out from Birds Nest resort Peacock Villa:
1. Location is perfect - both quiet and easy-to-reach (trip from Dadonghai bay was more or less 30 minutes).
2. Inside amenities and included options are perfect too - you get several restaurants (separate for breakfast and lunches/dinners), as well as unrestricted access to park itself and 1 paid access to cable bridge and glass bridge, which is frankly enough for one trip. You can do both in different days - we went to the peak park itself + glass bridge on Sunday and suspended rope bridge on Monday.
3. Food is also very delicious - breakfasts include sufficient choice of European-style dishes as well as Chinese noodles/soup and the lunch/dinner Thai restaurant is also highly recommended, tasty and quite authentic Thai food (Tom Yum, Pad Thai, etc.).
4. Last but not the least - Customer Service. Service is top-notch, you can access the service desk on WeChat between 7-23 hours for arranging transfer shuttles, room service and any other request. Huge thanks for the help to Xiao Chen, who helped with every our request for these 3 days!!!
All in all it was the best experience in Hainan and it's all thanks to hotel staff who are always happy to help and organise your rest. Thank you all!🙏
GGuest UserWe moved from Dadonghai to the Yalong Bay Wing Hotel. Check-in was a breeze, and Gina from Guest Services provided exceptional butler-style service throughout our stay. She was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous, responding promptly to all our requests. The hotel even upgraded our room, which made our family's stay very pleasant. The lake-view family room was thoughtfully designed, and the pool villa was spacious and comfortable. Our family had a wonderful time, and we'll definitely choose the Wing Hotel again on our next trip to Sanya.
RRay142857Pros: The hotel offers a significant price advantage among beachfront hotels in Haitang Bay, making it ideal for families who want to stay by the sea but have a limited budget. It's very close to the ocean; you can walk straight out to the beach. At night, you can hear the sound of the waves from the balcony. It's a relatively convenient 1.4 km walk to 68 Global Food Street, seafood stalls, and convenience stores. It's quite family-friendly, featuring a kids' playground and club. The rooms are spacious, with basic room types around 50㎡, comfortable bedding, a scenic balcony, and expansive sea views from higher floors. Breakfast offers a rich variety, including a live bakery station.
Cons: There was a long wait to check in with no concierge to guide us, and after checking in, there was no follow-up from a butler, no hotel introduction, no kids' activity guide, no map, no fruit platter in the room, and certainly no inquiry or arrangements before our arrival. Overall, the service felt far below par, but for this price range, the value for money is still decent. We later received a thoughtful greeting from Ms. Linna of the hotel's guest relations department two days into our stay, which was much appreciated!
GGuest UserOur stay at InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay Resort was absolutely wonderful! We were traveling with our child, who suddenly fell ill and started throwing up. The hotel staff were incredibly caring throughout. They not only helped us promptly clean up but also thoughtfully brought us some comforting congee and consistently checked in on our child's well-being. It was truly touching.
The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and service were all top-notch – a perfect score for the overall experience! We had a great night's sleep; the air conditioning temperature was just right, and we didn't feel any drafts blowing directly on us. A special thank you to Lucas 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 for his meticulous and thoughtful service, and for following up with us so attentively. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and highly recommend it!
GGuest UserThe service was excellent, really top-notch! Especially Coral, she was so responsive to every request, really amazing!
The shuttle driver was also great, helping with airport transfers, attentive and polite. And when I needed first aid, the staff member quickly gave me extra band-aids – so thoughtful!
The afternoon tea staff were cheerful and friendly, which was lovely.
Plus, it was super convenient to order takeout, food, and even fruit deliveries.
**Facilities**: The room decor had a classic Southeast Asian vibe, with wood, stone, rattan, and fabric materials, giving it a very artistic feel. The bed and sofa were soft, the lighting and AC worked well, and the toiletries were complete. You could even request extras like mosquito repellent, hair ties, and razors from the front desk – all very good! My only minor issues were the lack of a washing machine, making drying clothes inconvenient, and no refrigerator. I really hope they add a fridge and washing machine; I'd love to visit again!
**Hygiene**: All the fixtures were great. Perhaps because the room hadn't been occupied in a while, there was a slight musty smell, but it cleared up quickly once the sea breeze blew through.
**Environment**: The expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony offered breathtaking ocean views – just stunning! The cross-breeze from the sea was fantastic too! In just five minutes, you could walk through the lobby, across the lawn, past the beachfront restaurant, and sun lounger area, straight to the beach! The sand was clean, the beach shallow, and the sea blue – a swim in the ocean was incredibly refreshing!
**Service**: Excellent! I missed breakfast, and Coral kindly arranged for afternoon tea. Enjoying a drink by the sea at the lobby bar in the afternoon was a wonderful experience.
GGuest UserA perfect family-friendly hotel with incredible value for money! A huge thank you to our butler Krystal for all the arrangements!
1. **Check-in:** We cleverly avoided the Qingming Festival rush. Booked a Club Lounge package through Ctrip, and the price was fantastic – no surcharge, what a steal!
2. **Room:** The sofa bed converts into a double bed, making it perfect for 2 adults and 2 children – plenty of space! It was like having two king-sized beds, no need to squeeze together. Our butler had already added us on WeChat, so we checked in promptly at 3 PM and even got an upgrade to a sea-view room on a higher floor, close to the elevator – brilliant!
3. **Food:** Breakfast could be enjoyed either in the main building or the Club Lounge. The main building offered more variety but was busier, while the Club Lounge was more refined. My husband loved the Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), and we also enjoyed jackfruit, pineapple, star fruit, and diced blueberries and strawberries. Afternoon tea included cakes and coffee. Dinner, served at 4:30 PM, featured five or six hot dishes, fried noodles, fruit cake, and coconut cooling soup. Eating brunch and then afternoon tea/early dinner was enough for the whole day! We didn't even need to order takeout once.
4. **Kids' Activities:** So many activities!
* **Daytime:** When it was hot, we went to the Adventure Park (our butler gave us free tickets, yay!). There was complimentary face painting (the little princesses loved it!), and they could even change into princess dresses. Younger kids could play with building blocks, magnetic tiles, and a piano. Outdoors, there was a petting zoo, a zip line, and free mini-train rides (note the operating hours, not all day). The large lawn had hammocks, swings, canopies, and beanbag chairs. You could even climb coconut trees. There were also morning outdoor activities like frisbee and ball games.
* **Evening:** After dinner at 5 PM, we headed to the pool for a bubble party. The heated, circular pool was perfect for swimming, and there was a massage pool. Lying in the pool, watching the clouds drift by, was incredibly relaxing! There weren't many swim rings available, though.
* **Nighttime:** In the carnival area, there was go-karting, movies, trampolines, beanbag toss, and archery.
There were also many classes, but we simply didn't have time to join any.
5. **Beach:** The beach just outside the hotel was very clean. It was just too hot and sunny, with no shade for sand play and no private umbrellas. But the sand itself was lovely and not dirty at all. We participated in a free crab-catching activity one evening, though it was quite challenging to catch any.
6. **Birthday Celebration:** Coincidentally, it was my birthday, and the butler surprised us with a small cake – thank you, Krystal!
7. **Travel Photography:** This time, we had photos taken of both the garden and sea views. The beach photographer also helped us out, as we simply couldn't capture the same effect ourselves.
We stayed for five days and four nights, and I really miss those wonderful days of endless food and fun! We definitely felt like we could have stayed longer!

GGuest UserThis hotel is located at the easternmost end of Yalong Bay, right next to the Underwater World, making it super convenient for water sports. We booked a sea-view king room, which turned out to be a couple's suite – it would be even more romantic if I had my partner with me next time!
Facilities: There's a self-service laundry room, but no dryer. It would be great if they could add one in the future.
Cleanliness: Very clean, especially the white bedsheets.
Environment: Right on the beach, so getting into the sea is very easy.
Service: The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, and they even offer travel photography services, which is perfect for capturing vacation memories.
Overall, it's a hotel with great value for money, highly recommended, and quite popular!
LL RomanThe hotel is beyond expectations. It is located in Xiaodonghai Bay. We were vacationing with our daughter of 1.4 years old. We went for complete privacy, silence and relaxation. The hotel consists only of villas, there are about 30 of them, there are no building rooms, which ensures privacy and silence. The territory is large, incredibly well maintained and very beautiful. Beauty is in the details. The villa itself is well planned and consists of a main house and a small additional one. We had lunch here when we ordered something in the room. The personnel brought a high chair for my daughter and it stayed here during all days of our vacation. Interestingly, they don't just bring food to the room, but also serve the table. It's nice.
In general, the staff is as attentive as possible, this is reflected in the little things. The breakfast was included in the accommodation, so we either went to the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner (only Thai and Chinese cuisine, but there is a children's menu and we ordered something for our daughter), and something Thai for ourselves. Everything is cooked very tasty and of high-quality. It was at this hotel that I first tasted the local Hainan dessert - cold coconut milk soup with fruits and cereals. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food in general, but I really liked this soup! We also ordered food directly to the villa through the Chinese app Elema (饿了么), which is in Chinese. We didn't go to street restaurants. In general, in China, the delivery of ready-made food is incredibly developed, you can order anything and anywhere. If we needed a taxi, we ordered it through the Chinese Didi (弟弟)app. But we didn't want to leave the villa and the hotel at all, we spent most of our time by the pool. Usually we need the sea, but this time it was so good to chill out at the villa that we somehow didn't need the sea). Moreover, we have a little daughter, and so far it has been more convenient to swim with her in our own pool than at sea.
We used Alipay to pay everywhere. During our stay, we visited the spa several times, took various treatments (body scrubs, various massages), we really liked everything. They do it efficiently, I recommend it. I also recommend trying small drinking coconuts in Hainan - they are divine! The very taste of a rich bounty)). Look for small brownish colors, no more than 10 cm in diameter, it has a very rich thick sweet taste of coconut. About the sea: if you are looking for active swimming in the sea, the hotel may not be suitable. It's very shallow here (that's okay) and after about 100 meters, where it's still shallow, there's an underwater breakwater. Therefore, if you swim, you will just bump into it. Because of this, there are no waves in the bay. But there are algae growing on the bottom. It may be possible to swim well during a very strong tide, but it was not possible to swim during our visit. That's why we spent the day at the villa, swimming and relaxing there. And after sunset, we went out for a walk along the shore, admired the sunset, played with our daughter in the sand and on the playground, and also strolled along the pier. For some reason, for the first time, we really didn't really want to swim in the sea). In general, if you want to spend your entire vacation in complete relaxation with the chirping of birds, the sound of the wind and the lapping of waves, then I definitely recommend Banyan tree.
GGuest UserSheraton Sanya Haitang Bay | Nailed it with this hotel choice! 🌴
The hotel's public areas are huge and beautiful, with tons of activities, making it perfect for families with kids. You could easily spend an entire day just eating and playing here! There's a night market and duty-free shop nearby, and ordering takeout is super convenient. However, picking up delivery from the lobby's takeout cabinet can be a bit of a trek. I absolutely have to recommend [Hainan Qingbuliang Dessert Shop]'s signature stir-fried ice! It's unbelievably delicious; I had it three days in a row. Way better than Uncle Hao's, and the portions are generous! We were a little worried about long queues for breakfast around 8 AM, but thankfully, it wasn't too crowded. They had Hou'an noodles and various carb options. While not exceptionally tasty, enjoying breakfast outdoors on a nice day was incredibly pleasant.
