Hengqin Bay Hotel is definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, offering a comprehensive and detail-oriented experience. From arrival to check-in, I truly felt like a 'guest at home.' The hotel lobby is incredibly grand, with a tasteful interplay of light and shadow. Stepping in immediately melts away the fatigue of a long journey. Check-in was not only swift, but the staff also leaned in to listen to my needs, showing great respect for guests. The room design is elegant and luxurious, with every material meticulously chosen. The mattress provided the perfect contouring comfort, and there were both firm and soft pillows to choose from – I slept like a baby! The night view was absolutely stunning, with the floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic vista of the sparkling city lights and the hotel's interior. Beyond these, the hotel's recreational facilities are top-notch. The gym boasts new and comprehensive equipment, and there's even a dedicated kids' club. On the dining front, I must particularly commend the seafood buffet dinner. Oysters, salmon, shrimp, and more were all-you-can-eat, and the waitstaff frequently changed plates, ensuring exceptional service quality. Hygiene was impeccable; the bathroom mirror was spotless, and the floors gleamed. What's more, the hotel features free-roaming dolphins and flamingos, an exclusive ecological landscape that is undoubtedly a major draw of Hengqin Bay. Getting around is extremely convenient, with internal shuttle buses departing on time, making travel to and from various Chimelong attractions a breeze. Whether for business travel or high-end leisure, this hotel truly offers an ultimate indulgence!

This was my first stay at a Banyan Tree property, and I was impressed with both the soft and hard services. The ocean view room allowed me to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. The room was grand and tidy, with many thoughtful details. It was very quiet at night. Both the buffet dinner and breakfast were extensive, and the seafood was very fresh. Even with good occupancy, the overall service at the hotel was excellent. The hotel has two beaches, east and west. The east beach is quieter and perfect for just relaxing. This hotel is ideal for a vacation.

My two friends and I stayed at the Meilihao this time, originally just looking for a place to relax for a couple of days. We didn't expect the experience to far exceed our expectations – our schedule was packed from morning till night, so I have to write a thorough positive review. First, let's talk about the facilities. The hotel's pool isn't a standard rectangle; it's irregularly shaped. The water seemed freshly cleaned and quite clean. It's divided into a children's play area and an adult swimming area, and there's staff monitoring the children's section, which is excellent for safety. There are also lifebuoys nearby. The deep end must be less than 1.65 meters, as the water level wasn't as high as me. Next to the pool, there's a wellness center. We initially planned to get a SPA with my friends, but the prices weren't very reasonable, so we skipped it. Further alongside, there are new energy charging stations, which is fantastic – we didn't have to go out looking for a place to charge. Dining: The buffet breakfast included with the room was incredibly lavish. It offered both Chinese and Western hot dishes, salads, fried rice, fried noodles, sweet soups, soy milk, egg tarts, donuts, and durian pastries – we thoroughly enjoyed it. Towards the end of our meal, the restaurant staff even brought us a platter of cantaloupe and watermelon. The biggest surprise was the **self-service afternoon tea** in the executive lounge. Everyone dining there was very civilized and quiet. You could help yourself to desserts, snacks, fruits, coffee, and tea. The coffee machine even let you choose between espresso and Americano, both of which were aesthetically pleasing and delicious. I felt like we got our money's worth just from these two meals! There were also small snacks and drinks in the lobby where we checked in, along with fruit drinks. The Qingbuliang sweet soup shop recommended by the lovely staff at the front desk was delicious. Guest Room: The hallway seemed to have an air freshener; the scent was very pleasant. Our triple room didn't have a window and looked like a school dormitory when we entered. The bed sheets and duvet covers were very clean, and the soft mattress was super comfortable to lie on. There wasn't enough water in the room to drink, but we could take water freely from the hallway. Upon check-out, the lovely staff asked about our stay, helped us scan the parking code, and even gave us a souvenir gift with some small snacks and a phone stand. The service was exceptional and very thoughtful. Meilihao Hotel has now been added to our list of places to revisit. Next time we're in Panyu, we'll definitely choose this place again.

Please avoid weekends or peak seasons. I believe the experience would be much better if there were fewer people! The good aspects: The staff responded very quickly after check-in, so I believe the hotel has a good training system. There are many activities for children, with two indoor playgrounds and an indoor swimming pool, so you don't have to worry about the sun. Areas for improvement: Can the front desk arrange for more experienced greeters? The concierge staff did take action when they saw many people queuing, arranging for someone to handle check-ins at the front desk, but they lacked experience. I was holding a child and had been queuing for a long time, only to have someone who arrived after me be processed first, and they even asked if *that* person had children. Did they not see me holding a child? I almost wanted to complain before I even checked in. I mentioned it at the time, but the front desk concierge didn't resolve my issue, and the lobby was hot! After checking in, I got to my room at 6 PM, and it still hadn't been cleaned. I guess this was probably due to the crowd, so it was very chaotic. The front desk said they would send welcome fruit, but we didn't receive any. Because the hotel was fully booked, we had to queue for breakfast. I'm not sure if some guest gave incorrect information or if there was a registration error, but some guests actually used our room number for breakfast, which was really frustrating. I wonder if the InterContinental Club room would be better? Because the children had a good time, I'll choose a Club room next time. I hope to experience better service when it's less crowded. I've also been to the MGM next door, and I feel that the InterContinental's beach is a bit better.

The biggest bonus was the early entry privilege for the zoo, which allowed us to avoid the peak tour group crowds and significantly enhanced our experience. The White Tiger Buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and we loved watching the white tigers roam from our window seats – my child especially enjoyed it. Concierge and housekeeping staff throughout the hotel proactively greeted us and were quick to respond to any issues. We seamlessly enjoyed the zoo, water park, and Grand Circus all in one trip, making travel with our 10-year-old effortless and stress-free. This is definitely our top choice for a family-friendly hotel, offering great value for money and worth returning to!

The underground parking was well-managed, with clear signs everywhere. The room's soft furnishings were gentle and cozy, and the ample storage cabinets kept all our travel essentials neatly organized. The shower had a soft water flow, and a full set of toiletries was generously provided. Our room was cleaned daily at a set time, with drinking water and toiletries replenished proactively. The public hallways were clean and orderly, with no clutter, and drinking water was always available in the corridors for guests. The self-service laundry room was well-equipped, and the indoor children's play area had a wide variety of activities that kept our little one very happy. The buffet breakfast offered a diverse selection of stalls, with a good balance of savory and sweet options, perfect for children. The hotel also has plenty of recreational areas for post-meal strolls. From travel and accommodation to dining, recreation, and convenient services, everything was comprehensively covered. We had no unpleasant experiences at all. My child and I have already agreed that we'll stay at the Penguin Hotel again for our next visit to Chimelong.

Excellent Stay at Grandview Golden Palace. The Room: The duplex suite is incredibly spacious, offering a great multi-level layout that feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. Location: Super convenient—only about a 600-meter walk to the Tiyu Xilu Metro Station, making it incredibly easy to navigate Guangzhou. Food Scene: A fantastic food street is right nearby, packed with excellent local dining options right at your doorstep. Highly recommended for anyone wanting space and convenience in Guangzhou!

During peak season, it was too crowded, and the service was a bit lacking. Our room balcony smelled like urine, but the cleaning staff was so busy that no one came for over 20 minutes. I also saw some feces on the carpet in the public area on the first floor that hadn't been cleaned up promptly. With so many people, anything can happen... The main restaurant was full, so we had to go to the temporary buffet on the second floor. Waiting for the elevator also took a long time. The soundproofing in the room was very poor; we could hear fireworks on the beach until past midnight and even the noise of motorcycles revving their engines. The family room only had one bathroom, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, I felt the hotel's facilities and service were inadequate. The only good thing was the beach; it was relatively flat and convenient for swimming. In the afternoon, it was shaded by the buildings, but in the morning, it was very sunny.

It's been over two years since my last stay, and I'm back at Forest Sea, this time for a two-night consecutive stay. First, the pros: A new shortcut has been added behind the main building, leading directly to the water park and forest park. It's convenient and saves a lot of hassle, as before you had to take a long detour. The facilities are mostly suitable for young children, and my child had a great time. There are kiosks and vending machines everywhere, so as long as you're willing to spend, you can pretty much sort out food and drinks. Now for the cons: The buffet dinner didn't have many food choices, and it got chaotic when there were a lot of people, so the experience was just average. It would be a much better experience and attract more repeat guests if they could increase the quantity of food. Overall, the comprehensive facilities are still quite impressive. If they could further optimize the details, I reckon there wouldn't be many hotels around Guangzhou that could compare. I hope for an even better experience next time.

The entire staff was well-trained, making check-in and other procedures efficient and smooth. The room facilities were comprehensive and comfortable. Both the ambiance and the personalized service were remarkable, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing stay throughout. This is a highly recommended hotel for anyone vacationing in Zhuhai, and I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit.
