Clean Room. This Chinese New Year, I put a lot of thought into choosing a hotel for my parents and child. I wanted to avoid any unpleasant surprises and find a place that was conveniently located, clean, comfortable, and offered attentive service. After reading numerous online reviews, I ultimately decided on the Lishang Hotel. Our three-day stay did not disappoint; these are my genuine feelings, and I hope they serve as a useful reference for anyone looking for a hotel. The hotel's location is truly worry-free. It's right on the roadside, easily visible. Whether you're driving and parking or getting dropped off by a taxi, it's incredibly convenient. No need to drive around searching for the entrance, which is a huge plus when traveling with elderly parents and children, as it minimizes walking. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to grab breakfast in the morning or dinner in the evening without venturing far. This really maximized our efficiency. My most direct impression was the hotel's service, which was incredibly polite. From the moment we stepped through the hotel entrance, every staff member greeted us with a sincere and friendly 'Happy New Year,' always with a smile. There was no hint of perfunctoriness. Even the cleaning staff would smile and say hello when they saw us, instantly making us feel warm and at home, despite being far from home. All the room facilities and equipment are new and well-maintained, with no signs of age or damage. The overall decor is simple yet elegant, not flashy but very comfortable. The room lighting is warm and soft, not harsh on the eyes, making it suitable for both children reading and elderly guests resting. The biggest surprise was the smart design; the TV could directly control the curtains, so there was no need to get up. The operation was simple, easy for both elderly guests and children to use – full of technology yet very practical. In terms of hygiene, it was truly impeccable. As someone who's a bit of a clean freak and has high standards for hotel cleanliness, this hotel completely met my expectations. The bedding was spotless, without any stains or odors, neatly made, and soft to the touch. The bathroom was sparkling clean, with no water marks or odors, and the bathtub was polished to a shine. The hotel even thoughtfully provided disposable bathtub liners and cute bath bombs. Giving my child a bath in the evening was relaxing and reassuring. The hairdryer had a strong airflow, drying hair quickly and efficiently without a long wait, which was super convenient. Another particularly thoughtful touch was the complimentary sand-digging tools provided by the hotel. We hadn't had time to prepare any for our child, so seeing these was a wonderful surprise. My child loved them immediately and carried them everywhere we went, saving us the trouble of buying our own. It's clear the hotel understands the needs of families with children. I must commend Rose at the front desk; her service attitude was excellent, gentle and patient. She was very efficient during check-in and proactively recommended nearby attractions suitable for children and good restaurants, providing many practical tips that saved us time planning and made our trip much easier. When we checked out, staff members even specifically came over to ask about our stay, genuinely listening to our feedback and not just going through the motions. It's clear they truly care about their guests' comfort. Overall, this was a fantastic stay. Great location, warm service, new facilities, and impeccable cleanliness. It's perfect whether you're traveling with family or children, with absolutely no downsides. I would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

My stay was fantastic! The room was spotless, no dust or clutter, just really neat and tidy overall. It had all the amenities I needed, and the large projector screen was super easy to use – perfect for binge-watching shows. The AC was powerful and cooled the room down quickly. The hotel environment was quiet, so I wasn't disturbed by outside noise and got great quality sleep. The front desk service was excellent; the staff were friendly and even helped me with a few small errands, which was really thoughtful. Being right above Metro Line 1 with multiple exits made getting around incredibly convenient, and it was easy to get to Hong Kong too. The room also came with a mosquito repellent, and laundry facilities were available. Both the service and the hardware were top-notch.

Had a great stay! The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the subway station, about a 10-minute walk. It's connected to 3 subway lines, making getting around very convenient, especially Line 11, which goes directly to the airport in less than an hour. There's also a shopping mall right next door, so shopping is a breeze. I stayed in an executive room, and the layout and flow were very well-designed. Some of the facilities showed thoughtful attention to detail, and the British-style decor was very comfortable. The square bathtub was quite unique – it was great to watch TV while taking a bath. The double sinks were a nice touch, and the shower had excellent water pressure with a good hot water supply. Room service was prompt, even though some amenities were out of stock. Their explanations and handling of the situation were spot-on, so I was still very impressed! The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the dining experience was good. Cheong fun (rice noodle rolls) and ramen were made to order, and there were cards on the tables to prevent long queues and crowding. The lounge's afternoon tea had a rich selection and was delicious. The evening light meal was decent one day but not so good on another. The male staff in the lounge were very friendly and attentive, while the female staff were a bit more formal. The gym and swimming pool were both quite clean. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Recommended!

Back in Zhongshan, the renovated pedestrian street really evokes a sense of nostalgia. A big thank you to the front desk for their excellent recommendations! If it's your first time in Zhongshan, I highly recommend asking the ladies at the front desk – they were so enthusiastic in suggesting many great places to eat. The room was larger than I expected, and all rooms come with a bathtub. From the high-rise, you get a good view of the city. Even though new hotels have opened nearby, I still feel that the Hilton is my top choice when I visit Zhongshan! It's full of warmth and human touch; every staff member is incredibly warm and attentive. Although it's been open for a while and some facilities aren't as modern as they once were, everything is meticulously maintained. A Ferrari might get old, but it's still a Ferrari 😉

Service: The male receptionist was very enthusiastic and professional. The female staff member who took over after midnight was also very welcoming, though perhaps new, as her operations were a bit unfamiliar. However, her attitude was excellent, and she showed great emotional intelligence. Facilities: The amenities were well-suited for business travel, comprehensive and convenient. Hygiene: Excellent. Attention to detail was evident, and the room was cleaned very well even during an extended stay.

I really love this hotel, it's definitely one of the top ones in Zhanjiang. The high-floor indoor and outdoor swimming pools are amazing, especially the outdoor one with its incredible sea views. The sea view rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are huge too. The hotel's buffet ingredients are decent, though the food isn't kept warm very well, and the taste is generally just average. However, the cheong fun at breakfast is excellent. It's super convenient to step out of the hotel and take a stroll across the street; the scenery there is lovely.

This Wednesday, I brought my parents to Zhaoqing, and a friend recommended we stay at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, located by Qixingyan Lake. The moment we stepped into the hotel, we were impressed by the opulent lobby. The hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a lake-view room, and we were even more delighted once we entered – the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unobstructed panoramic view of the beautiful Qixingyan scenery. The room was spacious and equipped with all modern amenities, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel boasts over 20 hot spring pools, and soaking in them was incredibly relaxing. There's even a small hot spring pool on the room's balcony. The hotel service was exceptional, with staff member Tina enthusiastically assisting us from before check-in to after. It was a truly satisfying stay, and my parents thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Zhaoqing. I do have a small suggestion: My father has difficulty walking and uses a wheelchair. While the hotel lobby is grand, it's quite challenging for elderly guests to find a place to sit and rest. We only spotted a few chairs in a distant corner, which my father couldn't reach. It would be great if the hotel could place a few sofas or chairs near the lobby's front desk for elderly guests to sit and rest while waiting. This would make the experience more user-friendly and improve overall guest satisfaction. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

I chose White Swan over the Ritz-Carlton because I really wanted to try their restaurant, Yutang Chunnuan. I booked a river-view room, and the view was absolutely stunning. My only slight disappointment was that it was my birthday, and I was hoping for a room upgrade, but instead, I received a box of chocolates and a greeting card. The cleaning staff were very friendly, greeting me warmly every morning and even reminding me to refresh my key card at the front desk for my extended stay. Turndown service was also very prompt. The downside was that a light under the bedside table couldn't be turned off, and I had to sleep with it on all night. When I reported it to staff the next day, they couldn't fix it, so I resorted to the primitive method of unplugging it. Another letdown for a five-star hotel was the shampoo – it was a no-name brand and felt very watered down. The charging outlets were also oddly placed inside a drawer. Despite these minor issues, overall, it was a very good stay.

This unexpected surprise immediately washed away the fatigue of travel. Even more delightful was Mina's proactive complimentary room upgrade. The new room was spacious with a fantastic view, offering a panoramic sweep of Shenzhen's city skyline. The interior design was modern yet elegant, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and all facilities were immaculately maintained, showcasing an attention to detail that speaks of quality. I enjoyed a restful night's sleep and woke up feeling completely refreshed. _The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, perfect for both business travel and leisure. My overall stay far exceeded expectations. From the thoughtful welcome fruit upon arrival, to the pleasant surprise of a proactive upgrade, and the consistently attentive service throughout, the hotel demonstrated a deep understanding of guest needs. This stay wasn't just a comfortable stop; it was a beautiful memory of being exceptionally well taken care of. The Renaissance Shenzhen Luohu Hotel comes highly recommended.
