There was a slight issue during check-in regarding my booking. I had booked a room with breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child, but the front counter mentioned that their system only showed breakfast for 2 adults. After I showed them the details from my Trip.com booking, they still needed some time to recheck before finally confirming it. It was a bit troublesome, but thankfully the matter was resolved. On the positive side, the room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. TV channel options were rather limited, though. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hotel’s flexibility in allowing us a late check-out after afternoon prayer without any hassle or unnecessary questions, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would gladly come again in the future.

I had a pleasant stay at Purest Hotel overall. The location is very convenient, making it easy to access nearby amenities and get around the area. I also appreciate the team’s prompt response whenever I made a request — the service was efficient and attentive. That said, one area for improvement would be the pigeon situation at the car park, which could be better managed to enhance cleanliness and overall guest experience. With some attention to this, the stay experience would be even better.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful view, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Parking was very convenient and easily accessible for customers, which is a big plus. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful and professional, always ready to assist with any questions. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. 🌿 A Truly Memorable Holiday at The Jerai Hill 🌿 Our family getaway to The Jerai Hill was simply unforgettable. I went with my mother, my husband, and our children — and from the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene beauty of this place. The atmosphere throughout the day — morning, evening, and night — was incredibly refreshing. With a cool temperature of around 24°C, it truly felt like we were on holiday abroad! 🍽 The food was another highlight of our stay. Dinner was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of choices to suit everyone’s taste. Breakfast was just as delightful — the hash browns were perfectly crispy, and both the pasta and macaroni were full of flavour. We really looked forward to every meal! 🏡 Our room was spotless and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, and the water pressure was strong — making showers a real pleasure. 🌟 Activities and surroundings added to the magic. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, and my children had so much fun splashing around in the pool provided. One of the highlights was the strawberry farm, which was so close that we could see it right from our room window. 💖 Overall, our stay at The Jerai Hill felt peaceful, refreshing, and filled with joy. It was a perfect escape for our family, and we can’t wait to return!

The hotel room is near the beach and swimming pool my daughters are really enjoying it. However, the hair dryers are limited—you have to borrow one from the reception, and when we went, they were all fully borrowed. Also, there is no water dispenser in the hotel.

My wife and I recently stayed here and overall, we had an enjoyable experience. The room was reasonably priced and offered good value for money. We especially liked the cozy atmosphere, and the convenience of having parking right in front of the room made our stay even more comfortable. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The air conditioning was directed straight towards the bed, which made it quite cold during the night. Basic amenities like a toothbrush were not provided, so it’s better to bring your own. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was a bit slow. Despite these minor issues, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back again.

Best beach view but like the rest of Langkawi it’s just missing a few things. The family pool is sensational…but it’s pebblecrete, so it’ll tear up feet if you’re in there doing anything active. The pool bar opens at midday, so it’s definitely not set for early swimmers who might want a juice and snack. No lifeguard and almost no kids pool area. The pool was 1.1 to 1.5m deep so not toddler friendly. The rooms were great but limited lift access so a nice 3rd floor view has three flights of stairs. They have a reading room, which is a nice, air-conditioned lounge, but it only opens at 11am. The main restaurant has… average food. It’s not what you’d hope. They have the Chefs Table Restaurant wich was more expensive but actually had good food. It was hot in there though. We went in end of March and it was 32/32 degrees every day. Overall it’s a nice place and close to the mangrove tours but it just falls short of being really good. But that’s pretty much all of Langkawi. Staff were really nice.

You can also order food to be delivered poolside. The changing rooms are very large. 10. **Shuttle Service:** Free scheduled shuttle bus service to the night market and Eagle Square. 11. **Luggage Storage:** Luggage storage is available. 12. **Nearby Dining:** There's a restaurant with a pool next door, which has a nice ambiance. Across the road, there's a Thai restaurant run by Chinese owners, offering good value for money. Areas for Improvement: 1. **Condition:** The corridors and rooms are a bit dated. 2. **Air Conditioning:** Some rooms have central AC, others have wall-mounted units. In some cases, the wall-mounted units didn't blow air, and we had to clean the filters ourselves, which were very dirty. 3. **Bathroom:** The bathroom lacks a modern feel. 4. **Breakfast Quality:** The breakfast quality isn't very high and also feels dated.

The location is slightly away from the main tourist attractions, which makes it perfect for travellers who prefer a quieter and more relaxing environment. The receptionists and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful, and they were always willing to answer any questions I had during my stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel also provides free parking, which was very convenient since I had rented a car to explore the island. In terms of accessibility, the hotel is about 20 minutes from Langkawi International Airport and roughly a 10-minute drive to Pantai Cenang, making it easy to reach popular spots while still enjoying a peaceful stay. One thing to note is that there is only a single mini mart within the hotel and the prices are a bit on the higher side. On my first morning, I ordered breakfast through Grab instead, which was still convenient since delivery services can reach the hotel easily. The room floor had some visible stubborn stains and the hotel does not provide room slippers, so you may want to consider bringing your own if you prefer not to walk barefoot in the room. Overall, it’s still a good option for travellers looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Langkawi, especially if you plan to drive around the island.
