This might be the best hotel on Senagajima… hmm… the sunset is beautiful, the sea view is beautiful, and watching planes take off and land is also beautiful… but… the hotel's hot spring had a rotten, watery smell, the restroom on the first floor was dirty, there were ants in the room, and it was clear that many facilities hadn't even been wiped down in a long time. The staff were actually quite patient, and English communication was fine, but then there was an unexpected incident: I am very sure my wife and I are mindful of noise levels in public, yet during dinner, simply because I borrowed a phone, an elderly Japanese man at the next table, without any warning, yelled “shut up” like an animal. And the nearby staff member did nothing… If it weren't for considering international relations and being in a foreign country, I really would have wanted to have a vocabulary contest with that animal-like old man… To be honest, this was my first time encountering such an incident in Japan, but the hotel staff’s inaction completely ruined my impression of the place.

Pros: The rooftop pool and jacuzzi were decent, good for kids. It's not too far from Kokusai Dori, Naminoue Shrine, or the monorail station. Breakfast was okay, and there's a smoking room on the first floor. The hairdryer and toiletries were quite good. Cons: The Wi-Fi was terrible, constantly disconnecting. There was a weird smell coming from the bathroom. I also distinctly felt that the front desk staff showed more patience when assisting Western and ********* guests compared to guests from mainland China (even when mainland Chinese guests were equally well-behaved). Of course, the front desk still maintained a Japanese standard of service, but the difference was noticeable.

Really enjoyed my 6 nights stay at The Nest Naha. The room was comfortable and clean with a great view, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout. They do room cleaning every 3 days but also provide daily towel replacements, trash clearing and two bottles of water every day, so that’s perfect for me. The free drinks from 6–7pm each evening was a welcome bonus. The infinity pool on Level 14 looked amazing — didn’t get to use it this time, but that’s reason enough to return. Missed their breakfast too, so plenty to look forward to on the next visit. Location-wise, it’s very convenient. Close to Asahibashi Monorail Station, so getting to the airport or Kokusai Dori is easy. Lots of restaurants nearby and three konbini within walking distance, which is always handy. Parking at the hotel is ¥1,800/day, which is a bit steep, but there are cheaper options close by so it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, solid hotel with a great location. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

This hotel offers great value for money, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. They have complimentary drinks and beer every day. The Chinese staff are very friendly and welcoming. It's right next to the monorail but surprisingly quiet. The location is excellent, just off Kokusai Dori.

This property is BEAUTIFUL. I loved every part of our stay. The room was so spacious with thoughtful amenities, the public baths and pool area felt very luxurious and clean, and the location is hard to beat in Naha. The staff are all very kind and thoughtful, many spoke English but even those who didn't were extremely patient with my little Japanese. I would like specifically thank Santosh from the front desk staff. We ran into an issue with our baggage getting delivered in time before our departure to our country and if it wasn't for his help we wouldn't have had a hope of ever seeing that luggage again. His compassion and willingness to help us clueless tourists navigate our options and prepare our luggage for delivery will be remembered for a long time. I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends traveling to Naha!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is incredible – we could walk to American Village, which made shopping, dining, and picking up souvenirs super convenient. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the service was attentive and thoughtful, making our trip with kids much easier. Overall, it offered excellent value for money. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit!

Okinawa is truly a fantastic travel destination, and this hotel's location is excellent. It's within walking distance of Kokusai Dori (International Street), and you can continue walking from there to Naminoue Shrine and the sunset beach. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the breakfast – it's incredibly rich and diverse! They have freshly grilled burgers, various Japanese dishes, and even a make-your-own noodle station which was delicious. My room on a lower floor didn't have a window, which felt a bit confining, but my room on the sixth floor had an open and spacious view. There's a large banyan tree with a historic feel right outside the entrance. You can also find some really good omurice and izakayas in the surrounding area.

Cclem.dbnExceptionally surprised by how beautiful the resort was. The entire property was well-maintained, peaceful, and even nicer than expected. The service was truly top-notch — the staff were consistently welcoming, attentive, and professional. One of the highlights was the complimentary lounge access, which offered free snacks and drinks. It was a really nice touch and made the stay feel even more relaxing. The ocean view from the resort was also stunning and added to the overall experience. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner options were surprisingly affordable considering the quality and variety. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and well worth it. The pools were just as impressive — clean, spacious, and perfect for unwinding. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would absolutely stay here again.

GGuest UserThis hotel is on its own island with two relatively small beaches that feel man-made, and the sand quality isn't great. Overall, the hotel seems quite new, and so are the indoor facilities. It has both indoor and outdoor pools, and the amenities are relatively comprehensive. However, I'm not sure if there was a communication issue, but I was told at the front desk that there's no kids' play area 😂. Hotel service is mainly in Japanese and English, but if you're lucky, you might encounter Chinese-speaking staff. Inside the hotel, there's a shuttle bus service directly to the airport and Naha city center (not part of the hotel's services), and it's usually on time. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel, with apparently just one route, the 120, which generally meets transportation needs. You can't expect too much from a resort hotel, after all. It seems every room has a sea view, though perhaps with different angles and heights. Disposable amenities are also fully provided. After a two-day stay, my overall impression was good.

GGuest UserThe location is easy to reach even without a car thanks to regular bus connections. The setting itself is stunning — the hotel is located on a separate peninsula, and the views are truly magnificent. Unfortunately, the hotel building feels very old and worn out. It is difficult to perceive it as a high-end place in its current condition. Because of this, the prices for additional services and restaurants also feel overpriced. Dust, dirt, worn furniture, and even mold significantly spoil the overall impression. At the same time, there are many positive aspects. Some areas are beautiful, the food is very tasty, and the staff are extremely polite, attentive, and caring. However, there was also an issue with canceling part of my stay. I submitted a cancellation request, but it was repeatedly declined. Although the manager confirmed by email that the cancellation should be possible, they claimed the request never reached their system. If the hotel undergoes a proper renovation, I would gladly return. For now, my feelings are very mixed — the natural beauty and great service contrast strongly with the poor condition of the property.

GGuest UserThe staff were really nice. Even though there was a language barrier with the lady downstairs, she was very patient and used a translation app to communicate with us. However, the app wasn't very accurate. When we went upstairs to check in, it turned out there was a ********* person at the front desk, which was great. Still, we had to wait quite a while to check in, even though there was no one else at the desk at the time. The room was pretty spacious, and everything else was fine. The location is also quite convenient, and the restaurant downstairs is good. After checking in, it was past 3 PM, so we went downstairs to eat. The server asked if we wanted the restaurant or cafe. When she gave us the menu, we realized we only had about five or six minutes before lunch orders closed, but they still took our order! The set meal and the beef rice bowl were both really delicious. Definitely worth trying if you're staying here.

XxpippEven though it's an older hotel, the facilities are top-notch; I didn't feel any of the typical shortcomings of an aging property. I stayed for 2 nights and tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and each meal had its own unique characteristics. For breakfast, in addition to the standard offerings, they also had traditional chazuke (rice with tea). Lunch featured all-you-can-eat king crab legs, which were tender and fresh. Besides the regular desserts, you could also order a complimentary chocolate brownie cake (it's made to order, so not on display, but brought to your table after you order), which was delicious. Lunch also had freshly made tempura. It was truly made to order; two older servers would fry as much as you wanted, one frying and one plating. The only downside was having to wait patiently for them to finish frying. Dinner included mussels, smoked salmon, and seafood sashimi rice bowls. For dessert, they even had canelés, my absolute favorite! Both lunch and dinner offered steaks, which were decent, meeting the basic requirements of being tender, juicy, and having a slightly chewy exterior. The hotel's environment is also wonderful, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The pasta served at both lunch and dinner was excellent.

GGraceLcmWe arrived almost midnight after a long day, looking forward to a good rest. The room (Deluxe Twin) was okay and comfortable, nothing much to complain about. However, the service was quite disappointing. We booked a Deluxe Twin under one name and naturally expected breakfast for two persons. Upon check-in, we were told breakfast was only for one, and we had to top up more than ¥5,000 for the second person. That was quite a surprise. What made it worse was the receptionist repeatedly making remarks in Japanese mentioning “Singaporean” during the conversation. Even if we didn’t fully understand everything, the tone and body language were uncomfortable and unnecessary. After a long journey, you really hope for warm hospitality — unfortunately, this was not the experience we had. Just sharing our experience.

GGuest UserThis hotel just recently opened, so all its facilities are incredibly clean, and the location in American Village is excellent. Especially coming from the airport by bus, it's a much shorter walk compared to other hotels, and AEON Mall is practically right in front of it. However, since it just opened, the staff's experience level isn't quite there yet. I don't expect them to speak Korean, but even when I asked questions in English, the responses weren't usually very helpful, and it often took a long time to get an answer. I'm sure this will improve with time. The public bath is small but well-equipped and free to use. On the other hand, the gym is so small and poorly equipped it's hard to call this a 4-star hotel. There are only a few machines, and it's a cramped space with no view. The swimming pool, which costs 2,000 yen to use, is far too small, despite the hotel being called a 'resort.' And even though you pay to use it, they don't even provide towels. The infinity pool on the top floor is so exposed to the wind that even in mid-April when I visited, it was incredibly windy and too cold to use. A small jacuzzi nearby would be nice. While the view of the American Village sunset from the pool is great, it's just too cold and small. I do not recommend the breakfast. I had it included, but both days I just picked at it and then went to places like Komeda Coffee to have coffee and bread again. First off, the coffee in the breakfast restaurant is awful. Despite being an automatic machine, it seemed to mix concentrate rather than grind beans, or something similar, because I didn't finish any of the different types of coffee I tried. You're better off using the Nespresso in your room. There are no English descriptions for the menu items in the restaurant either. You can pick things out by sight, but selecting ingredients for the omelet was only in Japanese, so I had to use a translation app while eating. Similarly, everything from the air conditioner to the bidet in the room only has Japanese explanations. This definitely needs improvement. We stayed in a corner suite, and the room was incredibly spacious, a size you don't often see even in Korea. The terrace had a great view and was large enough to run around on. The bed was big and comfortable, and the sofa was big enough for about 8 people, making living in the room very pleasant. There were cups, a Nespresso machine, a Balmuda pot, an induction cooktop, and a washing machine with a dryer function, along with detergent, which was very convenient to use. However, the room lacked basic hotel amenities like notepads or pens, which would be a good addition. The night view of American Village from the room was also beautiful. As the hotel has been open for less than a month, there are still areas for improvement, but I expect it will continue to develop. I would visit again if I have the chance.

CChilunThe hotel is located on Kouri Island, with a very nice view of Kouri Bridge. The room is large and equipped with cooking utensils. It can accommodate many people. The cleaning time was very random and did not follow the schedule, and the hotel staff came into the room to clean without prior notice. I was a bit dissatisfied. Since I had notified the hotel through Trip.com before departure that I would arrive very late, but when I arrived, I found that the front desk was closed, and there was no prior notice from Trip.com or the hotel about the key collection arrangements, which made my group very panic. Fortunately, I found Trip.com customer service to find the password. Thank you to the customer service and compensation for helping me handle it that day.

LLinyinaiFacilities: Hyatt's facilities are unbeatable, and the size is quite large for Japan. The breakfast selection was a bit limited and didn't change much over three days, but the food itself was delicious. The swimming pool is small, but better than nothing. The hot water temperature wasn't very stable at night, fluctuating quite a bit. And for some reason, the toilet lid kept falling down and hitting me. Other than that, everything else was fine. Service: Couldn't be better. Every time we arrived by taxi, the trunk was opened before we even got out, and they'd even help us check if we'd left anything in the seat 😂. All the staff spoke excellent English. Location: It's about 1600 JPY by taxi to the airport and around 5000 JPY to American Village. Kokusai Dori is a one-minute walk away, and there's a convenience store about 200 meters from the entrance. The pottery street across the road is fun to browse and shop. However, it's quite a distance from the port, the bus terminal, and Naminoue Shrine. I'd recommend staying closer to the bus terminal area. Kokusai Dori is a bit of a tourist trap for food, and there's not much else to see or do there.
