Hotels With Pools in Oita Prefecture, Japan

Location of the hotel is great. I came from Hiroshima. The journey is very long. I stayed 3 nights here. Breakfast was kinda okay, they have alot of spread. I paid for 1 x breakfast at 3300 yen. Personally i feel the price can be lower. Afew items to highlights were Tempura prawn, mentaiko, corn soup, soba and grilled beef. They have welcome drink (tea/coffee/soft drinks) for certain hours. Topup 1000 yen you can get unlimited alcohol. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the station. And also they have 2 properties . Next to each other. There’s 6 laudry machines. A sky pool, sauna and indoor bath (onsen). I can see the hotel emphasis/uses alot of technology . Your door card can be paid for many things (laundry and vending machine) including partner restaurants outside the hotels. Where you can charge the expenses to your room. There’s a touch pad in the room, for you go control lighting, air conditioning , check hotel information and even control the TV. The only downside is the touchpad is very bright. It takes too long for it to go into idle mode. The cast and mirroring was lagging for me. As for the wifi, i find it weird that it only allows in my room. I had not as for the hotel wide wifi, not sure if there’s one. The room wifi was okay. The pool on the roof was great . You can see almost the whole beppu. Sadly I did not take photos of it. It was very chill . I would definitely stay here again just for the pool and onsen. The room clothes hangers were kinda little. There’s only 4 of them. The ice machine is at L2 inbetween the fitness center and the laundry. I would like to suggest to relocate it. As it is located directly next to the smoking room. And both times I am there to collect the ice with the cup provided, I almost out of breath from the cigarette. The Washing machine had locking mechanism on it, so other guests would not take your clothes. Select checkout was brilliant, they have 2 counters for it. I ate a breakfast, did 2 laundry and one vending machine. It was calculated perfectly. The staff at the reception were very helpful . Overall the stay was good! Will stay again if I am in Beppu. I’m glad that we chose Amane Gahama for our family vacation because it’s spacious and the private hot spring was awesome with both in and out door options. It’s a little inconvenient that breakfast was located in the sister hotel next door, but the hotel had arranged buggy for transport which the kids are happy about it.

The first thing that impressed me about my stay was the excellent service. All the staff were very kind, polite, and warm, making my stay feel at ease. The hotel is a little far from the station, but the surrounding area is very quiet, making it perfect for those looking for work or quiet time. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, so I slept well. However, there were a few things that bothered me. First, I could hear footsteps from the floor above, so I felt like the soundproofing wasn't very good. Also, for some reason, the bathroom smelled like stale wastewater, which was disappointing. All in all, the hotel offers good value for money and is highly recommended, especially for those looking for a comfortable, quiet environment.

This hotel is an annex of AMANEK YULA-RE, granting guests access to the main building's 16th-floor public bath (onsen) and 17th-floor outdoor infinity pool and Jacuzzi. **Pros:** 1. **Excellent Location:** It's just a 5-minute walk from the JR station, the bus stop for Fukuoka, and the bus stop for the Beppu Hells. The Fukuoka-bound bus station (located near a shopping mall) is also conveniently reachable within a 10-minute walk. 2. **Stunning Infinity Pool:** The infinity pool offers breathtaking views, including Beppu Tower, and is perfect for photos. Unfortunately, it rained heavily during my stay, so it was deserted during the day. The operating hours are quite reasonable, covering most of the day during my visit. 3. **Impressive Lobby & Dining:** The main building's lobby boasts an impressive design. Dining options are available on the first floor, and at 3300 JPY (approximately 160 RMB), the price is quite reasonable, comparable to what you'd expect at a star-rated hotel in China. 4. **Convenient Amenities & Services:** Shower caps and other amenities are available for collection at the front desk. Luggage storage is also provided. 5. **Spacious & Quiet Rooms:** Rooms are spacious. The hotel is quiet, ensuring a very good night's sleep.

We selected a Japanese style tatami room which was nice a spacious. However, most if the room looks old and very dated. Clock kept making ticking noise that made it hard to sleep but hotel staff was very kind and quick to remove it when we requested. Hotel was very crowded and full of children so the hot spring bath was also very crowded and noisy at times. It was very nice for the hotel to provide free snacks and beverages until late at night. It's a very family hotel and the view is excellent. It's actually in Hiji about 20 mins from Beppu centre. Breakfast is very good. We enjoyed our stay but the rooms can go for a round of uplift to not look dated.

I think this fusion ryokan is perfect for families. I've stayed in traditional houses before, but the stairs were narrow and steep, making it difficult. This place is a perfect mix of modern and traditional, making it a great place to bring my mother! The private bath was the biggest reason I chose this place, and it lived up to my expectations. I could adjust the temperature by mixing cold water, and it was a delight to see the night view outside. The lack of a kotatsu was a bit disappointing...ㅜㅜ Also, sashimi is served in the kaiseki course, but when I emailed in advance to say I couldn't eat it, they substituted it with roast beef. The aperitif, plum wine, was also delicious. I had to leave a little early in the morning, and they were very considerate and allowed me to eat before the scheduled time. They even offered a sandwich as a substitute for those who had to leave earlier. I only looked around the public bath, but if you have time, definitely try it!

It was truly the best accommodation. I went with my in-laws, my wife, and our baby. My parents say they keep thinking of this place. It’s truly the best accommodation in Godseongbi!!!

Do note that it is outskirts of hiji, driving at night is quite quiet. The hotel doesn’t have private bath in the room so do take note as showering will be shared under traditional public bath house. Family bath house is available for booking only, which the staff let us use it during the two nights there. Thank you for the great service!

第一次去別府，選了這家2025年新開業有私湯、海景可以走到海地獄等景點的温泉酒店，太驚喜啦！ 位置/設施： 酒店在鐵論温泉附近的山上，面朝別府港大海方向，上山的幾百米車需幾道盤旋公路而上，一點小刺激！酒店樹木環繞，旁邊衹有另一個酒店及神社，非常寧靜。我們被升級的別墅（B-2）非常大，卧室有三張雙人床，還有和室、客廳、餐廳、廚房、庭院、游泳池（夏天才有水）、室內、室外温泉池、室外桑拿、兩個洗手間等，院子非常私密，但從庭院可以看到別府的海及山下多處温泉蒸汽噴發的美景。 餐飲： 套餐包含晚餐及早餐：晚餐從5:30到8:00，需最晚7:30到達。兩餐選擇豐富、食物質量非常好，餐盤也非常精緻。晚餐每人有一份現煎的和牛及大鮑魚。早餐雞蛋、培根、香腸也是現做的… 服務： 用攜程提供的郵件（英文）回覆非常快，告知下午在別府站有四次免費接站2:30/3:30/4:30/5:30。我們開始選的5:30，但當天臨時改到4:30也沒有問題。酒店派了一輛出租車來接我們。到了酒店，大堂接待的前台居然可以説中文，非常耐心地和我們介紹酒店的服務與設施！ 傍晚，在小院裏泡好温泉去吃飯時發現很多客人都是穿着酒店的睡衣去進食的，好鬆弛！早飯後，我們沒有選擇酒店上午的免費送站服務，步行下山到海地獄（很近），city walk到海邊 （50分鐘左右），再🚖回酒店取行李/到別府站（4000元）。 酒店説如果想享用公共温泉，可以享用他們的姐妹酒店，走路5分鐘，留給下次！ 酒店入住率感覺挺高的（很多小院外都有停車），但多説日語/韓語。發現還沒有點評，開筆分享這家難忘的海邊温泉度假酒店！

The accommodation is clean and the facilities are five-star, making it very suitable for families with children. However, younger children may need some extra care. The only drawback is that transportation is slightly inconvenient; driving is recommended. There is a kitchen with complete cooking utensils. Providing bicycles for guests to go down the mountain to shop would be even better.
