This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! From the lobby and guest rooms to the views and facilities, the value for money is simply impeccable!
Since I was traveling solo and had no language barriers, I used a combination of public transportation and hiking through farmland and up mountains. It was quite a journey, but the scenery along the way, especially the sudden appearance of the sea at the end, was incredibly refreshing!
The hotel actually provides a free shuttle bus to and from the hotel. For pick-up, you need to contact them in advance (I didn't have experience with this). For drop-off/drop-off, you just need to book the night before. Why bother with public transportation?
When I arrived, I dropped my luggage off at the front desk for pre-check-in. Later that evening, after a day out, I went to the concierge. I encountered a girl who, based on her name later, seemed Chinese. I told her in English that I was there to pick up my room key and handed her my passport. She then demanded, “Give me your luggage tag.” I thought she misunderstood and thought I was there to retrieve my luggage, so I reiterated that I was there for my room key. She snapped back impatiently, “That's why I need your luggage tag!” It's perfectly normal for a first-time guest not to know they need a luggage tag to get their room key. Why did she have to be so rude?

I stayed for three nights and was very satisfied. The room was spacious, not cramped at all, and I even got upgraded to a higher floor. It's very close to the Sakae shopping district, with all the malls just about a 15-minute walk away. In the other direction is Shin-Sakae, where you can find quite a few Chinese restaurants. There's a Sugi pharmacy right outside the hotel, which is super convenient for buying cosmetics, daily necessities, and food – I shopped there every day. For breakfast, you can choose between the ground floor buffet or the second-floor Japanese set meal. I'd definitely recommend the buffet on the ground floor; it has a wide variety, including名古屋特色的烤鸡翅 (Nagoya-style fried chicken wings), though it can get a bit crowded. The service was also excellent, absolutely flawless. I'll definitely stay here again if I come back to Nagoya. The only thing to note is that the road leading to Sakae is a gentle uphill slope, which might be a little tiring if you're pushing a stroller.
En sachant que c'est un hôtel de visite conjugale , on a été ravie de constater l'immensité du lit et de la baignoire !
L'hôtel est propre et bien aménagé,
Un peu stressant tous ces bruits de verrouillage de porte la nuit

The service at the reception on the 18th floor and in the rooms was excellent, and the swimming pool and gym staff were also great. However, the service at the Wu Ren (懷石料理) and Italian Cava Nova restaurants was really lacking. For Wu Ren, which is supposed to be a top-tier kaiseki restaurant, the sommelier and the servers bringing dishes had poor English and seemed unwilling to communicate. It felt like they just wanted to drop off the food and leave, expecting guests to read the menu themselves. While this might be acceptable in other casual restaurants, is it the standard for a kaiseki establishment? The hotel should clarify if this is indeed their service protocol. The Italian restaurant was even worse – they offered virtually no service. They were initially friendly, but as soon as they heard English, they immediately said there were no tables available, shooed us away with a gesture, and turned their heads and walked off. The hotel also needs to confirm if this is their standard service procedure for this restaurant.

This is a well-established five-star hotel with an excellent location, right above JR Tower. Below it are several major department stores and the train station, making access very convenient. The biggest highlight is the rooms; if you're high enough, you can enjoy Nagoya's city views day and night. The photos turn out beautifully. I recommend taking some portrait shots in the window-side seating – they come out great.
**Service:** We checked in on Valentine's Day, so it was bustling. We had to queue for check-in, but thankfully, the front desk staff were efficient, so we didn't wait too long. However, the downside was room service. As two adults and two children, we needed an extra duvet. After our call, housekeeping promised to send it but an hour passed with no delivery. We called again and still waited. It took at least two hours for it to finally arrive.
**Facilities:** It has the standard amenities for a star hotel, with toiletries provided per person, and even individual lotion, which was a thoughtful touch. There was also a humidifier, a common feature in Japanese hotels. I never thought much of it before, but since it was winter and Nagoya's climate was particularly dry, humidification and moisture became especially important.
I booked this stay because I wanted to try some of the popular restaurants downstairs, so I didn't include breakfast. But from what I saw passing by, I imagine it would be quite good.

Hilton Nagoya
📍 **Location:** Conveniently situated in the heart of Nagoya, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station. This prime location offers easy access to the Shinkansen (bullet train), subway, and Meitetsu lines, making it incredibly convenient for exploring shopping areas like Sakae and Osu Kannon, or visiting Nagoya Castle. With convenience stores and drugstores nearby, it's perfect for both business and leisure travelers.
True to Japanese hotel standards, the cleanliness is impeccable. Both the guest rooms and public areas are well-maintained, showing no signs of age or wear and tear. Higher floor rooms offer stunning panoramic views of the Nagoya Station area's nightscape.
The front desk staff are professional and communicate fluently in English, and room service is prompt and efficient.
On a separate note, we encountered a minor issue during our stay. However, two managers were incredibly helpful and quickly resolved the problem to our complete satisfaction. Many thanks to them for their excellent assistance! 🙏

The hotel isn't far from the subway, but there's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs, which could be an issue if your bags are heavy. It's located on the bustling Sakae shopping street, directly across from Matsuzakaya Mitsukoshi, and just a 10-minute walk from Osu Shopping Street. The hotel is relatively new, with spacious rooms and complete facilities, though they don't offer a common area for guests to relax and have coffee. The restaurant is good, with delicious seafood and meat.
The view of the sea from the window of the room was superb. However, I wanted to go out to the balcony, but it was a pity that the door did not open due to the sea breeze.
It was difficult to understand where the toilet in the room was flushed. I thought it would be a better hotel if it was renewed.
The large communal bath was pleasant. The windows of the Western-style room were devised not to condensate, but they did not function for about half.
3 I went by person, but the triple bed room was very good.

GGuest UserI had a very good trip, this time I use it for the second time, I used lunch with my child many times before, I will use it again. Thank you
GGuest UserI stayed alone in a triple-bed room, but it was spacious and comfortable. I wasn't able to eat breakfast this time, but it was delicious the last time I had it. The breakfast area was also spacious, so I could eat without worrying about others. The lobby was also spacious and comfortable. I think it would be more popular if there was a large public bath on the top floor.
