The hotel is still in the soft opening phase. We have received a very warm welcome and enjoyed the very good service from the reception. Probably the best hotel in Pakse, good breakfast with fresh made noodle soup and eggs. We enjoyed the warm outside pool and decided to extend our trip. Overall everybody is very service oriented and we would like to thank the entire team for making our stay an enjoyable one!
Highly recommended most importantly no dust nor bugs !Worth the price & peaceful stay ! The blanket & mattress are comfy but the pillow is a lil too baggy! It’s 40mins drive to famous Tadfane waterfall and other.U can rent a bike in the hotel or around there! 2 Convenience stores within 500m.
I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The two reception staff, the gentleman and the lady at the front desk were truly outstanding. They were so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm attitude made me feel right at home and left such a positive impression. Thank you both for making my stay so enjoyable!
The old chairman's hotel is the only high-end hotel in Basong. The facilities are not particularly new and the environment is very good, but there are bugs in the countryside. Overall it’s pretty passable!
It was easy to find using navigation. The room was great, the spacious courtyard was very relaxing, and the coffee was delicious. I'll definitely return for my next business trip.
The hotel is easy to find on Google Maps, just one block from the main avenue. It offers 24-hour service, parking, and extra services like laundry and scooter rentals. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful; he just needs to improve his English. He helped us get a taxi to the airport. The room is spacious, with basic amenities: shampoo, soap, bottled water (daily), white towels, a closet, air conditioning, and decent Wi-Fi. However, the smell from the bathroom drain was rather strong. Keep in mind that you leave a 100,000 LAK security deposit (approximately $4.62), which is returned upon check-out.
We only spent one night at this hotel, but it was very pleasant to be able to cool off in the pool after a long minibus journey. The room was spacious and modern, and for once, the pillows were a good size, which prevented us from waking up with a stiff neck. The dining room was very comfortable with its large armchairs; we even had dinner there because the surrounding area wasn't very inviting. Breakfast was à la carte; a buffet would have been better to avoid long waits when a whole group orders with lots of specific requests in English to the poor Laotian waiter who has a limited vocabulary.
I stayed in a dormitory, which was clean and cool. The bathroom was shared, and only one of the three showers had hot water.
Breakfast is served in the lobby from 7:30am. It was simple, consisting of two slices of toast with vegetables and a fried egg and a banana, but it was delicious.
The reception can arrange motorbike rentals, tours, and bus tickets. Although I didn't use them, a motorbike taxi to Wat Phu Temple costs 50,000 riel, and a tuk-tuk costs 80,000 riel.
The hotel is located in a absolutely dreamy landscape – who is looking for quiet and relaxation will find his paradise here. It is the perfect place to turn off in between nature and quiet. But whoever seeks more action, should bear in mind that without a mobile subset, it is something away – for me personally was exactly the ideal.
The house is designed with incredibly much love to the detail, from the stylish interior to the small things that show how much you look at the guests here. It has made me particularly impressed that even before each room there is a rain screen – I fortunately didn't need, but it shows how well everything is.
The staff is warm, attentive and simply wonderful – you feel welcome immediately and best relieved. I've been in countless hotels around the world, but this is definitely one of the best I've ever visited.
This bungalow was an absolute gem. Very affordable, incredibly quiet, and filled with such good, peaceful vibes from the moment I arrived. Being right along the Mekong made every morning and sunset feel special and calming. The place is simple but perfect, exactly what you want to truly relax. The owner, Gilbert, deserve a special mention, extremely kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, calmness and great advice. I felt very welcome and at home here. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, authentic, and beautiful place to stay.

GGuest UserThis was the only hotel I ever stayed at in Pakse, so don't have a way to compare it to other places, but it was priced as high or higher than most other places in town. Setup was a little strange, felt like someone's home that got converted to a hotel. Also felt like it wasn't originally designed as a 5 story building but rather that floors were subsequently added. Staff speaks little to no English with the exception of one older lady that seemed to be translating for everyone. The breakfast room at the top floor was nicely setup with beautiful river view. Breakfast was basic but nice. My room was a little dated and very basic. It had everything I needed, just everything felt super old. Curtains couldn't be properly closed all the way and the room could not be kept dark in the mornings. I also had a problem with ants in the bathroom, in my toothpaste, my shaving cream and on the towels. Overall not a bad place to stay, but when I return to Pakse I will probably try some other hotels before returning to this property.
GGuest UserLovely resort in Pakse which faces the Mekong river so there is a lovely view and breeze!
The staff were amazing from the cleaners to the receptionists. I'm sure this resort will get very popular soon as it is a hidden gem.
I stayed over Christmas and was able to have the receptionists help me book activities during my stay.
I would recommend booking their taxi service from the airport as there are no local taxis available.

GGuest UserThe hotel was greatly situated on the island. They arranged everything for us including transfers back to Pakse. We hired bikes at 30,000kip each for 2 days and this was great fun. The hotel also did all of our laundry at a fee but it was beautifully clean!
The hotel restaurant did amazing food and we particularly liked the breakfast!
The pool and amenities were great and we loved our room and balcony.
Would highly recommend this!! :)
GGNIK AREAAn extremely emotionally & physically warm & peaceful relaxing environment with friendly happy & smiling employees offering everything I could need on site, despite the small amounts of unnecessary stress caused only via other visitor's lack of respect towards me instigated in such trivial ways that the build up of them led to the type of agitated state of mind I arrived here in & was hoping to avoid!! ✌😇👌
