This is definitely the best resort in Manado. Although it is a little far from the city (but the absolutely beautiful sea view must be far from the city), it has its own pier and dive shop. Who knows my family, why there are no Chinese people staying here. I went to stay at 2 pm, and I arrived more than an hour early. There were welcome drinks and sandwiches (I really didn't expect sandwiches), which was very considerate. The resort is small but very beautiful, with a very, very good sunset, and saw the blues moment. I booked a waterfront room, and the sea is right outside the door. It was suffocating. I will definitely come to Cocotinos again next time I come to Manado. The sea view from this place is absolutely stunning. I stayed here for two nights in Manado as a layover before going diving in Raja Ampat. I arrived at the hotel at 7 AM on the day of check-in and was able to pay an extra 250,000 IDR at the front desk for an early check-in, and they even upgraded my room. On the day I left, my flight was at 8 PM, and I paid another 250,000 IDR to extend my check-out until 4 PM. Overall, everything was great, and the front desk service was excellent. However, the bathroom felt a bit old and run down, probably because the hotel itself is older and the bathroom maintenance hasn't been great. There's an Italian restaurant downstairs called Amicoo which was quite good, although the service was a bit slow.

Despite their limited English proficiency, the staff's dedication shone through in every interaction. -I encountered a mishap during my trek to Mount Awu, where I misplaced my instant camera. A local found it, and with the help of Gilbert, one of the hotel staff members, the camera was safely retrieved and ensured it was in good condition. Additionally, when I slipped while trekking, my local guide called Gilbert, who promptly drove himself to arrange for me to be transported back to the hotel, ensuring my safety and well-being.These acts of kindness and exceptional service truly made my stay at Tahuna Beach Hotel and Resort unforgettable. the room is super clean, breakfast also delicious, the location is nice, the view also nice, can watch sea from the window. the service is also nice, the people also super nice. only the elevator is kinda difficult because is super busy and long wait. but overall my experience staying in Best Western is super comfortable.

The resort is close to the left of the Blue and Blue Strait. The location is often good for divers, but the resort is very biased. There is no restaurant convenience store. There is another diving resort Yos next door. There is a small fishing village across the road. The store, the goods are incomplete (the shelf life is worrying), The price is still expensive, it is recommended to buy enough snacks and drinks in the convenience store before coming. The overall condition of the room is OK, the air-conditioning refrigerator is available, but there is no window, in fact, there is no window, the shower condition is very good, 24 hours hot water, the temperature is stable. The restaurant in the resort tastes good, because the resort is opened by the Singaporean owner, so the cook should be trained. But the price of the dish is not cheap, and an additional payment totals 21% of the consumer service tax. 95% of the divers who choose to play here are divers who play in the water. After checking in, they said that they need to dive. The front desk will tell the diving center about the needs. The private dive guide will take you to the diving center. The service is very thoughtful. The key is that almost all the dive guides will find small things. Everyone is a micro-dive guide. The diving price is equivalent to rmb350 one dive during the day, 500 one dive at night, and600-700 one dive in Black Water. An additional payment is required for a total of 21% consumption service tax. However, diving fees for more than 2 days are 20% off, and tax and equipment rental fees are not discounted. It is recommended that IDR and credit card pay, never pay in US dollars, the exchange rate is extremely unfriendly, I pay in US dollars, and I lose the exchange rate difference equivalent to RMB 1500. First the service was bad, we ordered 3 french fries and 1 banana fritter at the pool, only arrived 2 french fries ( 1 french fries and banana arrived 1 hour later, they brought in the room). Second, no information about the breakfast policy for kids. After we enter the dining area while the kids having their breakfast suddenly the staff comes and informed us that we must pay extra for the kids. And we said, no information about that, the staff said it is on the breakfast voucher which the font super small and no one can read that. Next time better, but I dont think staying in this hotel again near future. Despite the facility, the service was bad.

In the morning need to provided 2 elevator, so elevator doesn’t need to use stairs. It’s not good! Cos planty people going up and down for breakfast. If is just one elevetor it’s chaos.
