GGuest UserGreat location for Piccadilly and the London sights. Breakfast was also fabulous. Staff at the hotel go above and beyond. Special thanks to Radi Dimiatrova and Kariny Cazuza for their careful preparation of our room for our arrival. This was a reunion for me and my daughter and it was a great surprise. Thanks to all the hotel staff who looked after us during our stay and for the bar staff for looking after us with Negronis one night in the piano bar!
GGuest UserStaff were really lovely, the room was very clean and housekeeping changed our sheets and towels after the first night. Bokan was amazing. The gym only had weights up to 10kg so wasn’t of much use.
GGuest UserIt was an amazing experience we went for my girlfriends birthday the atmosphere was amazing and the views were incredible and the buffet for breakfast was spot on i definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is thinking to stay here. The workers was really polite and helpful to find out where everything is aswell.
RRafsana ChoudhuryCheck in experience is very chaotic. Full booking details were missing in hotel system. I.e. number of child or adult guests, number of breakfasts paid for, etc. Prepare for gbp50 deposit per room.
Room was nice with two double beds and pretty view of IFS Cloud cable cars. Location is beautiful. Local trains and buses provide easy access to all of east London. Complicated parking. Driving here is not recommended, like most of London, unfortunately.
Local dining options are expensive. Breakfast is beans on toast and repetitive every single morning. No salads prepared. Busy and chaotic dining room almost every morning. Recommend poached eggs.
Service is an area this hotel really needs to improve. Especially concierge. No help with suitcases and bags. Staff won't even bring a bucket of nice to the rooms. Guests must bring buckets from the room to the bar to collect ice cubes. Not well suited for Muslim guests. No ladies only timings in the Spa facilities. Also overpriced. Local beauty salons in Upton Park are much more affordable and comprehensive.
Overall, an nice, clean, safe hotel, but not good value for money.
GGuest UserLovely hotel, room nice with lovely bathroom.
Robes and slippers provided.
Water in room and tea/coffee making facilities.
Spa with pool was super. Steam room/sauna
Towels provided.
GHD hairdryers and straightens in changing rooms.
Staff lovely.
10 min walk to 2 different tube stations - Tower Hill and Aldgate East (the walk from this kne didn’t feel that safe at night).
15 min walk to Spitalfields market which was fab!
KKimI do like the location although I did need my car or a taxi to go out. I really like being able to wander outside in the lovely grounds from ground floor room.
The lovely wild flower borders to entry's is very inspiring.
Even with a large wedding party it was very quiet at night. That was impressive as there were cars everywhere and still room for my little car.
I could have done with a shower cap as I was soaked in rain shower and normal shower combination. I can't quite see the point of that but if you have the knack of switching them both off I guess it's a thing nowaday.
GGuest UserHotel was nice, clean and convenient. Situated very close to terminal 3 it is ideal. We missed breakfast unfortunately as had to be at the airport before 6, and breakfast doesn’t start until 6am. So if your an early flyer, don’t buy the breakfast package. Parking £24 / 24 hours which seems standard round there.
The only annoyance is that service charges are added to the bill on every drink / food ordered and they don’t tell you about it until after the bill is paid and they provide the receipt. This is very cheeky. Don’t midland paying but not for every drink, definitely should be an option asked in advance not just taking liberties.
Taxi service cost two passengers £19.50 for a shared cab. This was very convenient and was on time. Bookable in advance via a computer terminal at the main doors .
If you are flying later, there are tfl busses go to terminal three from across the road which would only cost you £1.75 per trip, and I think one bus is 24 hours. But requires reliance on public transport.
Room was clean, comfortable and tea / coffee and water in room. Shower was good.
Food was nice. 2x pizza £20 each small basket of chips around £5. Double vodka and coke cost nearly £20 and a beer moretti £8. Plus the added cheeky service charge that wasn’t mentions of £8.
McDonald’s is a two minute walk for a cheaper option and Tesco express / kebabs around a 10-15 minute walk away.
GGuest UserAMAZING STAY! WOULD BOOK AGAIN AND RECOMMEND.
Came with family for a birthday weekend trip. We were all very impressed. Location is excellent- basically in the heart of London with breathtaking views of St Paul’s Cathedral. The hotel itself was outstanding - scaly considering its 4 stars. It’s more like 5 to be honest. Free water on site and in rooms, which is extremely helpful. The hotel is very spacious, modern and beautifully designed. The rooms were very spacious with the BEST shower! There is even a hair dryer and iron provided in the rooms. Spa facilities was amazing- lovely sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The breakfast had a variety - very accommodating to those who have dietary requirements/ need veggie options. Staff were so kind, helpful and accommodating. Service was outstanding overall and I would most definitely return. Thank you for allowing us to have such an enjoyable experience.
RRichardDThe Ned is an excellent hotel in central London. A big eating area in the same building as the hotel. Very nice spa and gym. Rooms a bit small but nice and quiet.
AAlberto919The location is phenomenal. Right across from the street you can find the Bakerloo Line. Room was big, clean, tidy and modern, same for the bathroom. Staff very kind and happy to help.
Swimming pool facility was very hot and sadly full of screaming children. But sauna and Turkish bath also well maintained. I would suggest to check the mold in the bathroom shower, also no soap refilled.
