excellent hotel at a perfect location. The view on rhine river is excellent and the historic city center and Roman remains are within walking distance. The staff are friendly but some appear a bit overworked on a slightly busy day. The communication about challenges with room availability are really poor. Thus the manager may need to take the time to train some of the staff in basics required at a hotel of this level

Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us, and we enjoyed the sunset on our diner with the view of the rhein at their restaurant. Breakfast was fine with lots of variety foods. Evening walk along the Rhein by the hotel make it more romantic. And at the pool, it was warm in the room but still nice to swim.

The room was very clean and luxurious. And the large bathtub is comfortable. The small lounge area where you can enjoy alcohol will make you want to go again if you can improve it. It is a pity that the customer who passed by looked inside and the distance from others was not very calm space. I thought that such a majestic old castle 5 star hotel would have a more atmosphere if there was a space where jazz music was played and live performances were performed. Spa area and massage are also recommended.

The pictures look better than the actual hotel and even though the amenities are quite nice, especially the Spa area the service should definitely be improved when it comes to the ladies at the front desk. The other staff was very helpful but overall management seems to be a little confused.

We stayed there for the event night kelder. The location is very good, in 5 minutes you can walk to the city centre . Breakfast is very mucheettig.

Hotel with good breakfast and a small sauna area as well as a small pool. After I had the opportunity to switch the room for driving chair noise, I had a quiet and beautiful room with views to the backyard and over the roofs on the top of the church tower from the castle church. I enjoyed the stay and was treated very friendly at the reception and in the friendly breakfast room with view to the park.

Lobenswert ist, dass wir nach Mitternacht eingechecken konnten und für uns bereits alles bereitgestellt wurde und alles relativ reibungslos verlaufen ist. Das Hotel ist ein wenig schwierig zu navigieren, aber es hat alles geklappt. Das Zimmer war eher rudimentär und wir haben schlecht geschlafen. Zwischen den Matratzen war ein breiter Spalt und das Lattenrost ist eingebogen. Man hat die Federn der Matratze gespürt. Sobald man das Licht im Badezimmer angeschaltet hat ist die störend laute Lüftung angegangen. Was das Einschlafen jedoch besonders erschwert hat waren die Heizungs-Rohre, die ein rythmisches Tropf-Geräusch gemacht haben. Die Bettdecken waren sehr dünn und uns war kalt. Die Dusche war wirklich sehr klein, aber in Ordnung und sauber.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast buffet had everything you would like to ask in the morning.

All five stars. This hotel is located next to Mainz Park. The price/performance ratio is much higher than that of Hilton and Hyatt next door.

Wunderbar. Ein tolles Wochenende in einem tollen Hotel. Nach der Jahrhundertflut musste einiges renoviert werden, so wurde aus einem tollen Hotel ein noch besseres Hotel. Grossariges Bistro, moderne Zimmer, tolle Lobby. Natürlich ist das Frühstück im Steigenberger Hotel legendär. Wir hatten das Glück direkt vorm Hotel einen romantischen Weihnachtsmarkt zu haben. Kurz gesagt, einfach perfetto.
