The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was excellent (many choices, everything fresh, stuff was very kind/supportive). The location cannot be better - only couple of meter towards the main street (also the Christmas Market). Parking is possible on two underground floors - there were many places available independent there was a full house. We would come back anytime again in the future and this place is very recommended for everyone!

Fortunately, we could gather a public parking place right in front of the hotel and unlock a 24-Stunden-Buchung parking watch. For the narrow entry to the hotel garage as well as a parking lift system is inappropriate for our ”family kitchen” (experience!). Comparison with the reception staff quite ”holpig” lack of sufficient German knowledge from their side. A card for rooms and hotel outdoors (the only way to get into the building from the specified evening time) that was given to us was not opened. Rooms were good for our ”demands” (astonishing for this hotel category -＞ refrigerator available for cooling things to bring with itself) Breakfast: Quark for Musli I missed and unfortunately only the highly sugar-containing finished cereals find. Ergo prefers to give up immediately. Because the seabream or seabream seems not suitable for the other foods I asked what this was meant to do... With the word seabream, the “breakfast service” could not start anything. So I asked if this ”ingredient” was thought of ”salmon”. Then I was told that the salmon was out (about 9:30 / breakfast is probably in the “layer system” after we were asked when we arrived, in which “time window” we are looking for breakfast). Very irritating - we could directly observe immediately before that a not half-full plate with salmon cut was carried into the kitchen. We booked 5 nights and we were ready for a little vacation by the Rhine. Mrs. Flores made us aware, that the ”Executive Lounge” was unfortunately not that big, but we had to see that with our ”own eyes”. Really good service was provided upon check-in, and our expectations for the stay at the hotel became greater. The room we had been allocated was on the 5th floor with a wonderful view of the Rhine. We had booked a room with breakfast, so we were excited to see, how the breakfast buffet was. But we were very pleasantly surprised there 😊.. There was a reasonably large selection of various breads and hot items, so it was just a matter of getting started with breakfast. The hotel allows you to sit outside and enjoy your breakfast with a view of the Rhine, and watch the people walking and cycling past. We were very lucky with the weather, so breakfast was enjoyed for a little longer time than usual. After breakfast, we went up and see how the ”Executive Lounge” was. But unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed. The ”Executive Lounge” consists of 2 small rooms, where there were 3 tables in each room, and 3 people could sit at each table. When we got outside the time when alcoholic drinks are served, we could see that you could have a cup of coffee or an apollinaris. The snacks on display looked a bit boring, and the fruit wasn't of the best quality either. But cheer up, it could be good in the evening... But when we visited the ”Executive Lounge” in the evening, beer, wine and spirits were on display - but the snacks that were also on display didn't seem particularly inviting - so we didn't take any of them. Summary of our experience of the ”Executive Lounge” is that it is not necessary to purchase access to the ”Executive Lounge”. And we can only encourage hotel management to go on a study trip to Düsseldorf or Dresden, where we have experienced what an ”Executive Lounge” should really be like. In general, the level of service is very high, and the staff a super good service at the hotel 😊... Here we have to highlight in particular: Mrs. Flores from the reception, Heike from the breakfast restaurant and Brittany from Guest Relations. They gave us a really good service during our stay. In summary, we would give the hotel 4 stars out of 5. If the hotel should have had the last star, the ”Executive Lounge” must be upgraded with better rooms. (Could space be created for a small area down in the restaurant area, so that you also have the opportunity to sit outside on the warm summer evenings. We would like to come again at another time to enjoy the good location and super service 😊..

Intercity hotel It is very close to Mainz Hbf, only 3 minutes away. Come out from the door of platform 8, 11, 13 in the station, follow the road where the taxi comes in and go right, pass a tram track, opposite the hotel. The breakfast was very rich, the photos on the wall of the hotel were full of art, the service staff were warm and thoughtful, and there was a free city tour card. It was very comfortable to live here and will come again.

Das Hotel ist recht ordentlich, für mich drei Sterne, zentral am Bahnhof und den verschiedenen Hauptstrassen gelegen, daher mit geöffneten Fenster sehr laut. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, das Bett hat eine eher harte Matratze, was mich nicht gestört, die Zimmer wurden renoviert, Duschwanne, ansonsten ist eine gewisse Patina unverkennbar. Ein Auszug ist vorhanden, klein und altersbedingt nicht schnell. Das hoteleigene Parkhaus ist recht günstig, aber für größere Fahrzeuge zu eng. Zusätzlich gibt es Parkplätze an den Strassen und einen öffentlichen Parkplatz, jeweils zeitabhängig gebührenpflichtig. Für das Angebot sind die Preis ziemlich hoch. Allerdings ist das Angebot an Hotels nicht üppig, da die Winzer eher ihre Ferienwohnungen vermieten wollen und höherwertige Hotels nicht genehmigen.

So much nicer than I expected! Coming from the States I had pretty low expectations for a Super 8. But wow could the American Super 8s learn a few things from this place. The room is sparkling clean and modern, with comfy beds and bedding. The breakfast is fabulous, with eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, breads, cheeses, juice, delectable croissants, choice of coffee drinks, and more. There’s a spacious new lobby with sofas and lounge chairs. They will cook you a nice thin crust pizza. You can buy wine and beer. Is this even a Super 8?!

Very nice and good hotel. We spent a day in Luxembourg so we only spent the night here. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and many other things. The room we stayed in was comfortable, nice and clean. The hotel has double windows so you barely hear the traffic around you. Staff is friendly and they can also speak English with you. Parking is available at the hotel.

The main advantages are the location, being a five minute walk from the main rail station and very large rooms. I imagine that the hotel was very glamourous some years ago, but it is now an ageing hotel with some charms. The rooms do not have a fridge - the space is now sealed sghut, and the safe wasn’t operative. The bed is an issue - there are two old single beds pushed together and there are separate bed covers for each, which are not nice for a couple. The room has a lot to offer with a lounge and two comfortable chairs, in an era when rooms are tiny and have no chairs or amenities. Ideally, the hotel needs upgrading and renovating but the cost is reasonable and it does offer good value. The staff were friendly and I liked this hotel more than the more modern, boxy hotels we stayed at in several other cities on this trip.

Excellent stuff and good breakfast the room is clean and comfortable just I half one comment regarding the TV channels there is no English Channel I hope if the hotel management they manage to add English channels nearby that is a Turkish supermarket and also another big supermarket 2 restaurants very close to the hotel approximately 10 m away Italian and German restaurant Bus station is approximately 200 m away to the city center and main train station

Located on the Rhine River, the morning is very quiet and the scenery is beautiful. The hotel is very quiet, the room feels and the area is spacious. The breakfast at the hotel is very good, but it is recommended to market in the nearby town centre.

Especially good are the following when considered a 2 star which makes clear prior to booking the features it does not gave. The location on the quiet edge of the old town within 10 mind walk of the centre. Buffet breakfast has varied and ample choices. They made clear that the lifts at the time of stay were getting refurbished with 1 out of the 2 out of Commission during prior communication as as clearly noted in the hotel showing good communication. Underground car park access communication answered promptly ahead of travel noting you can access it before check-in giving the staff the ticket during check-in. 50 spaces for most of the stay was ample until the end of the stay when it got very busy. Only issue with underground car park was that exact procedures for leaving could do with improvement. Front desk staff provided great assistance with check in & check out information

There are quite a lot of people, and the front desk efficiency is OK. If you want to take a taxi in the morning, you must make an appointment in advance, otherwise you have to wait a long time

What was supposed to be a relaxing wellness weekend for my partner's birthday unfortunately turned into a complete disappointment. As we were enthusiastic about the Favorite Parkhotel during our last stay two years ago, this time we had very high expectations, which were unfortunately completely disappointed and we were quickly brought back down to earth. The superior room we had booked was unfortunately one of the very dusty, old-fashioned rooms on the 5th floor, in contrast to the last stay when we had been given a modern room. There was nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness, but it started with the fact that on the day of arrival our room was not ready for occupancy for a long time and the man at reception had obviously forgotten us, so we had to ask several times about the current status of the check-in option. The elevator was of course broken, so we had to carry our luggage up to the 5th floor. When the staff asked if we needed help, of course there was no response. The elevator was regularly broken from the day of arrival to the day of departure (Thursday-Sunday)... The energy cost is another of those additional fees that are beyond comprehension. It would be a more honest decision for the hotel to adjust the overnight prices accordingly. The wellness area on the roof is still completely undersized for a hotel of this size, and the whirlpool was out of service for two days. The hotel's newly designed spa area on the ground floor is visually very appealing, but there are too few places to lie down for the size of the hotel. The design here was more about appearance than practicality, because the large number of guests gave the whole place the atmosphere of a train station, with no trace of relaxation. It would have been sensible to separate the rest areas, but as it is, you are in the middle of through traffic... unfortunately a total failure. When I was asked by a receptionist on the day of departure whether I had enjoyed my stay and answered ”Unfortunately not”, his reaction was a simple ”Oh, that's a shame, I'm sorry”. It would have been more appropriate to simply ask why I was dissatisfied, because how can a hotel improve if it doesn't ask about criticism? But the motto here is: it doesn't matter, the customer has left, so I don't care why the customer didn't like it. At just under 800.- for three nights and a visit to the hotel's own restaurant, this was a very disappointing experience. I had communicated with the hotel well in advance that it was supposed to be a birthday surprise for my partner, but they said: of course not. It was clear to us that this hotel was finished for us, there are better places.

This was the first hotel we stayed at, as part of a 7 month trip through Europe and Africa. Will admit - not the best idea, as this apartment is SO NICE, that you'll end up comparing all your future hotel rooms against it (and they'll probs come up short). Beautiful converted building, spacious rooms, everything feels recently renovated and clean. The owner was exceptionally friendly and went out of his way to help us. Our room looked over the main square and fountain, and was extremely nice to fall asleep at night with the window opening listening to people walk past, eating at cafe and the fountain in the background. Only thing to note is that the beds seem a little small. We're used to a king at home, or queen when we travel. This may indeed be a queen, but it feels like a double. I fell off the bed (while sleeping) one night we stayed. Not fun as bed is quite high. Excellent stay in Mainz, and a great alternative to Frankfurt if they're having a convention (and the prices go sky-high). Old town here is small, but there's enough stuff to keep one busy for a few days.

Room is cleaned 1x every 3 days and the hand towels used are then discarded, so a nice mountain was dirty on the floor, not a pleasant face. No ventilation in the room, window can be at a ventilation stand, but if the room is on the front ( street side), the sound of traffic of the busy street is ALL ALL, the window must remain close but no fresh air is not fine. Too few parking places, really a disaster, and so ask when checking out: whether your car is in a HOTEL Parking,(and so money for questions) No, of course not, they are certainly insufficient. a hotel at the Nivo of a youth hostel, without any Hotel feeling, for me no repeat, Florin (NL) #2117 stay 13/10 to 20/10 2023

Perfect locarion, very close to the city center and at the same time far away from the city noise. Very clean and cosy rooms, delicious breakfast and nice atmosphere. It feels really like a home. If I have a chance to go again to Trier, I would definitely book this hotel again.

We booked a komfort room. Was very clean and with simple modern furnishing. It was quiet and the air con worked well which is needed in the heat of August. Slightly annoying that it beeped and flashed when the hotel set timer switched it off automatically after a set period. We weren’t expecting this and it woke us up with a start in the middle of the night. Unfortunately the garage on site was not able to fit our high car as the hotel has limited parking with high head space. We found a parking nearby in a pay and display place, so not a huge problem. We didn’t eat breakfast in hotel which was probably a mistake as we found the local (nearby hotel) cafes to be not particularly appetising, maybe we just picked the wrong ones. However we did find a great restaurant in walking distance called La Kramerei. You need to book, at least in August. I can recommend the hotel.

The parking lot that comes with it has very few parking spaces, and the front desk staff suggested that we park in the nearby parking lot for a fee of 2 euros. There was a bed that could be opened on the wall behind the sofa. We booked two beds when we booked, but the hotel forgot to put the bed in place. The staff was asked to operate and the staff apologized. Breakfast is quite rich. Luggage can be stored at the front desk. At the time of check-out, the staff must provide us with an English version of the proof of payment, but Ctrip is only Chinese, and the Ctrip website is replaced with the Chinese language. I have been working on this for a long time! Isn't the entire process Ctrip not agreed with the hotel? A lot of wasted time.

Nells Park has various types of rooms (as regards size and luxury) and my room was a beautiful middle mother. Not very big but fine. The bathroom was a little bit on the small side and the shower cabin can be renovated but it was also good. There are 2 sauna cabins and a steam cabin; good temperature and wellness is very clean. One point of the hotel is the location. It is at least half an hour walk to the centre of Trier. But that means you're sleeping quietly, and that's very nice!

Extra Mitteilung ＞＞ HOTELBAR SERVICE ! ! ! ＞ wir haben an einem Abend gemeinsam die Hotelbar besucht und jeweils etwas konsumiert ＞ als wir die ”Rechnung” verlangt haben, wurde uns lediglich eine ”Zwischenrechnung” vorgelegt, was zur Folge hat, dass dieses in Folge ein Steuerbetrugsversuch ist, da der jeweilige Gastronom, in diesem Fall das Hotel, diese Zwischenrechnung wieder aus dem Kassen-System entfernen kann und somit die Steuer nicht dem Finanzamt gemeldet wird ＞＞ daher müssen wir hier leider aufgrund jeglicher Gleichbehandlung, mit anderen ehrlichen Gastronomen, den Service mit 1 bewerten, da schon der Versuch aus unserer Sicht strafbar ist Gastronomie ＞ Frühstückssaal befindet sich im Erdgeschoss (gleichzeitig Hotelbar) ＞ Buffetform ＞ für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei

A hotel on the Rhine with a beautiful environment and underground parking. The hotel is 1 km away from the main business street in the city center, convenient for shopping and walking. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is rich in variety, the ingredients are fresh, very delicious, and there is freshly ground coffee. Worth living.

English speaking front desk, location downtown. clean. simple. Out of the road through Koblenz. Walk to places such as the pedestrian street. Very good...the price is a bit expensive compared to the economy hotel

A very warm welcoming staff greeted us. The accommodation was very comfortable, much attention to detail. The room is clean & spacious. It was good to have both hairdryer and fan, the weather was hot during our stay & we needed both. The food at the hotel is wholesome & delicious. Portion sizes are good. The shrimp salad was lovely, as was the chilli bowl. Breakfast is buffet & a vast choice. The proximity to the station is excellent! The Koblenz shopping district & the river are all within short walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & visiting Koblenz - we will be back. Skyla & Tavia

Wow, what a hotel! We instantly felt welcome, friendly and helpful staff who made us feel like king and queen. Upon arrival they offered us a drink, as non alcohol drinkers they made the effort to serve us a non alcoholic white wine. The room was thoughtfully decorated, large TV, spacious closet with enough clothing hangers, there was even an umbrella provided. Modern bathroom with all necessary equipment, wonderfully well-functioning rain shower. Everything extremely hygienic and perfectly arranged. Lights that can be dimmed, heavenly noiseless at night, no sound to be heard. Very thoughtful to place a personalized ”HERZLICH WILLKOMMEN” card in the room. In the morning a very extensive breakfast and the possibility to have breakfast outside with a view of the Moselle. Thank you all for this great short holiday you gave us. We will come back for sure!

Very nice location and beautiful view over the city and Rhine. Big and soft bed, bubble bath, delicious breakfast and everything was very clean. They promise air conditioning on the website, but it just seems to be a fan. A sweaty and sleepless night while I had to drive a long way the next day.

Zum Veranstaltungshighlight ”Rhein in Flammen” hatten wir bereits in 2023 mehrere Doppelzimmer reserviert. In freudiger Erwartung aufgrund der ansprechenden Informationen & Bilder der Website wurde die kleine Reisegruppe im Nebenhaus einquartiert. Leider weisen die Zimmer dort absolut keine Qualität auf. Wir haben ein Zimmer im Dachgeschoß bewohnt, welches auf den schnellen Blick ganz okay aussah. Aber eben nur auf den Schnellen. - Matratze(n) sehr weich, ausgelegen und mit einem langen Schlitz - Spannbettlaken ohne Gummizug, rollt sich sofort beim Hineinlegen von Matratze ab und in sich zusammen - Spinnweben und verdreckte Fensterbretter - Müll vom Vorgänger neben dem Waschbecken - Fehlende Gardinen, lediglich Verdunklungsvorhänge mit abgebrochenen Häkchen für die Gardinenschiene Am Anreiseabend (Freitag) wollten wir noch gern als Hotelgäste im Restaurant zu Abend essen. Da im Garten nicht ausreichend Tische mehr verfügbar waren, hat man uns widerwillig einen Tisch im Innenraum angeboten. Auf Nachfrage hinsichtlich Abendessen wurde uns seitens der Gastro-Mitarbeiterin, ohne vorherige Rücksprache mit dem Küchenteam, informiert, dass wir hier nicht mehr speisen können, da die Küche ausgelastet sei und keine Speisen mehr anbietet. Da war es 20:05Uhr und Küchenschluss war offiziell 21.00Uhr. Der Fairnesshalber sei an der Stelle gesagt, dass wir eine Vorschlagsliste mit alternativen Einkehroptionen überreicht bekommen haben. Dennoch kann man nur mit dem Kopf schütteln: welches Hotel kann sich einen Umsatz von 10 Personen entgehen lassen? Gastfreundschaft gleich Null. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Die Sauberkeit des Frühstücksraums leider nicht. Auch hier schmutzige Fensterbretter und Spinnweben unter den Gardinenleisten. Alles in allem war aushaltbar, mehr aber nicht. Schade für ein inhabergeführtes Haus. Die Mängel haben wir bei Check Out auch sachlich übermittelt. Als kleine Entschädigung wurde uns die Berechnung des Frühstücks erlassen. Eine nett gemeinte Geste, die wir angenommen haben. Wenn das Team ein wenig gründlicher dem Job nachgehen würde, wären Entschädigungen nicht nötig.
