The hotel is conveniently located among many of the city’s most popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Although the staff were not very talkative, they were incredibly helpful and always willing to assist us whenever needed. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We especially loved the traditional architecture, which added a unique charm to our stay and made the experience feel much more authentic. Definitely worth trying if you’d like to experience a classic local-style accommodation.

A hidden gem nestled by Napa Lake, this manor offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and grasslands right outside your window. The whole house is equipped with oxygen supply, a thoughtful touch for those prone to altitude sickness. The Tibetan-style courtyard is elegant, and the friendly pets add to the charm, while the afternoon tea is delightful. The service is impeccable, and the rooms are spotless. It's the perfect place to simply relax, watch the clouds drift by, and let all your fatigue melt away – truly a slice of Shangri-La's slow living. 🌿

The room was clean and tidy. It was really cold in Dali during the May Day holiday due to the rain, but luckily the air conditioning had a heating function, which was great! It's very close to the South Gate of Dali Ancient City, about a four-minute walk. The owner was incredibly warm and friendly, helping us carry our luggage both ways. When we left, they even gave us flower cakes!

This hotel is great! The room looks exactly like the pictures online. The location is super convenient for getting around. They even rent out electric scooters on-site, and the staff are really helpful with directions. As someone from Malaysia who isn't familiar with the area, renting a scooter and following their explanations and maps was no problem at all 😂. They also offer a shuttle service to Lijiang, which is really cost-effective and convenient. They pick you up right at the entrance. All-day sea view tea break, enjoying Erhai Lake. Enjoy two cups of aromatic coffee daily – Americano or Latte. The hotel is located in the city center, making transportation convenient, with Erhai Lake right at the doorstep. There are many electric scooters for rent along the road, which makes getting around easy.

Our overall stay exceeded expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, making it easy to go out for meals and visit attractions. The room was meticulously cleaned; there wasn't a speck of dust in the corners. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, 24-hour hot water was consistent, and the mattress was just right—neither too soft nor too firm. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbances. The front desk staff were warm and polite, making check-in a breeze, and they were quick to respond to any requests. The facilities are comprehensive, and the environment is clean and elegant. For the price, the value for money is outstanding. This will be our top choice whenever we visit this area. Highly recommend it to anyone traveling!

Fabulous hotel. Stylish room with high standard amenities in the room. Great shampoo! It's a bit hard to find but we managed to get a Didi from the high speed railway station for 32 RMB. There is an elevator inside the 99Y clothes store that brings you to the 4th floor. A woman in a very simple room will give you your key. The hotel seems to have a different name in English: Aina Hotel. Regardless, it isn't so easy to find for an English speaker. The room is spacious and cosy. Comfortable bedding. Very well designed sitting area. Ceinling fan and Air-conditioning. Large flat screen TV. I loved the teapot and cup set. The hotel gives a nice tea and honey as a free gift. We weren't disturbed by noise despite it being in a popular tourist area. Everything is close by too. Fun to visit the park along the river. We went 2 nights there. I highly recommend.

Come to Shaxi to lie flat, this homestay perfectly fits all expectations! The yard is a traditional Bai pattern, surrounded by green tiles and green plants, and the sun is shining in the courtyard, quiet and beautiful. The room is spacious and clean, the log wind design is warm and healing, the bedding is soft, the bathroom facilities are complete, and the insects can be heard at night, and the night is good. The service is particularly comfortable and will not be overly enthusiastic, but there is a need to always respond in time. The housekeeper will share the Shaxi niche gameplay and live like a local. Breakfast is freshly made local taste, bait silk is fresh, the cake is crispy, the ingredients are fresh and warm, and the day is full of vitality. Here, time has slowed down, drinking tea, daze, watching the mountains, enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the sand stream, highly recommended to friends who want to relax!

This Tibetan-style guesthouse is my top choice when visiting Shangri-La. It's right next to Dukezong Ancient Town, literally a one-minute walk to get in, which makes exploring the old town incredibly convenient. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted with butter tea and snacks. The entire guesthouse is authentically decorated in a ******* style, with carved wooden details, ******* rugs, and paintings creating a wonderful ambiance. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bedding is soft. They've thoughtfully provided everything you need for high altitudes, including an oxygen concentrator and a humidifier in the room, so you don't have to worry about the dry air or lack of oxygen. I slept soundly and comfortably.

We stayed for three nights and had a room with one single bed and one king-size bed. The mattresses were very comfortable, allowing us to rest well after long days. One small improvement would be to have another mirror in the room, as there is currently only one in the bathroom. The hotel is beautiful and very conveniently located, close to Dukezong Ancient Town, making it easy to explore the area. Just a few shops away, there is a large basement shopping center where we could buy instant noodles, which was helpful since we weren’t fully used to the local food. There are also familiar options like KFC, McDonald's, and Pizza nearby, making meals convenient. Breakfast was decent, though not entirely to our taste. Overall, the hotel offers a great combination of comfort, convenience, and location. A special mention goes to Lamu, the owner, who is incredibly kind and attentive. She always checked in on us, reminded us to stay hydrated, and even kindly dropped us off at the train station. Her warmth and hospitality truly made our stay memorable, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shangri-La.
