”Great stay with an amazing view!”
We stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel owner was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. It’s located in a great spot—high up enough to get a stunning panoramic view of Lijiang Old Town. The bed was very comfortable, and the price was highly affordable. Definitely great value for money!

View is great. We weren’t allowed to hold animals for our photoshoot despite seeing another group just before us taking photos with the animals. Bathtub in the room only had cold water, no compensation was given. We asked to take away breakfast when we had to leave early, and we were told it was not possible. We had done so previously in other hotels, so I was disappointed to see that we had asked for the same thing but not given the same treatment despite paying for the same price across all the hotels we had been. Dryer did not dry our clothes well either - dryers in other hotels worked well for our clothes.

Stayed here for 2 nights, but in two different rooms, so I got to experience both.
Overall, the hotel has a great view and a generally comfortable stay. It is a bit far from most main attractions, although it is relatively close to the railway station. There is a nearby bus station (Line 6), but getting to the Ancient Town and other popular areas is still quite far, so using Didi is often the easier option. The lobby also provides tea, coffee, and water, which is a nice touch.
My first room was on the 2nd floor and felt very modern and new. The bed was especially comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well-designed — I really liked this room.
My second room was on the 5th floor, and there is no lift in the building, so carrying luggage up the stairs can be quite tiring. The staff kindly helped me, which I really appreciated, especially since it was quite a lot of effort. This room had a nice view, but it felt a bit older compared to the first one, especially the bathroom.
If I had to choose, I personally preferred the first room for its newer feel and comfort, but both stays were still pleasant in different ways.

I had a wonderful stay here and truly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and beautifully decorated in a ******* style, giving the place a unique cultural feeling.
The owner is very kind and welcoming. Although they cannot speak English, they made a great effort to communicate and help with everything, which made me feel very comfortable and well cared for.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well designed with clearly separated areas. Complimentary tea was provided, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The location is also excellent — close to the main walking street and surrounded by many delicious restaurants.
Another highlight is the free pick-up and drop-off service, as well as the tasty snacks provided by the hotel. These thoughtful details made the stay even more memorable.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with local charm and a genuine ******* atmosphere. Don’t miss the chance to try yak meat while you are here! 😊

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the East Gate of the Old Town, making it super convenient for exploring the ancient city or catching the scenic shuttle buses. The oxygen supply facilities are top-notch; my mild altitude sickness symptoms, which started after arriving in Shangri-La from Lijiang, completely subsided after just two hours of resting at the hotel. The hotel's dog is adorable, and the breakfast tasted great. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Shangri-La.
This guesthouse is located right at the best viewing spot for the Duoyishu Rice Terraces. However, due to its geographical location, the parking lot isn't directly in front of the property. You'll need to arrange for the guesthouse's van to pick you up and drop you off. If you've finished exploring the nearby terraces and don't have your luggage, it's just a few minutes' walk back to the guesthouse by taking the stairs down from the side. The room looks exactly like the pictures, no discrepancies at all – it's really beautiful! Stargazing at night was also absolutely amazing. Great value for money, highly recommended!

The hotel's hot water for showering is very hot and very comfortable. I stayed in too many hotels and B&Bs along the way, and the shower experience at night would be very bad. This one has a large amount of water in the shower room, and the whole shower process is very enjoyable. The hotel also has a laundry drying area, which is very user-friendly. Parents and children travel with their children's clothes. There are more accumulated here, wash and dry them in one go, and then prepare for the next stop. I also want to thank the management here. The child had stomach discomfort, and the store manager took us to the health center for injections by bike. The pick-up and drop-off service is very considerate and also considerate for us
The room is very large, the bedding is comfortable and clean, there is no smell, there are large floor-to-ceiling windows, the lighting is very good, the facilities are complete, the room is very new, hot water is available 24 hours a day, the traffic is very convenient, the car can drive to the hotel entrance, go to the snow mountain can also be at the door of the bus is also convenient, Driving by yourself is also ok. The price is very high. The reception is warm and responsive. It also helps with luggage.

This stay far exceeded my expectations! The room looked exactly like the photos, even better in person. The overall aesthetic was warm wood tones and light colors. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was very well done. The mirror and vanity were spotless – excellent attention to detail.
The biggest surprise was the public courtyard. The carved wooden beams and stone-paved ground created such a wonderful atmosphere, filled with greenery. It was incredibly pleasant to sit there and enjoy a cup of tea. The owner was also very thoughtful, providing detailed instructions before check-in. The room even had a smart fresh air system, so it never felt stuffy.
The location was also very convenient – quiet but not out of the way. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay! From the moment we booked, the family who owns the place was incredibly kind, cheerful, and helpful. They communicated with us via WeChat to confirm our stay and asked us to update them when we were on our way, which made us feel very well-looked after.
Despite our late check-in, the ”big sister” of the family was so thoughtful, she even helped us carry our heavy bags up to the second floor! She then took the time to show us how everything in the room worked.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for the cold weather. The beds were cozy with comfortable mattresses, and the heater and humidifier were lifesavers! They also provided everything we needed like toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, hairdryer, and most importantly, unlimited bottled water.
The location is fantastic! It’s very close to Dukezong Ancient City and just a 15-minute walk to the Giant Prayer Wheel/town center. As Muslims, we found it very convenient that there is a Halal restaurant and a convenience store just a few meters away.
Note: It was freezing (0 degree) at night, but we stayed perfectly warm inside! It was also nice to see many fellow Malaysians staying in the area.
We also have to mention their adorable little dog! He was so friendly and constantly wanted to play with us. Although we couldn't play back due to our religious restrictions, he was still so sweet, he even gave us a ”zoomie” farewell during our early morning checkout!
Thank you so much for the great hospitality. We will definitely visit again! 💯💯

GGuest UserThe best decision I made in Shangri-La was choosing this guesthouse; it single-handedly made my entire high-altitude trip enjoyable! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Dukezong Ancient Town's Moonlight Square and the Giant Prayer Wheel. It’s wonderfully quiet yet centrally located, perfect for exploring and dining out, then returning to a peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. Most importantly, it came with an individual oxygen concentrator, which meant I wasn't worried about altitude sickness at all on my first high-altitude trip, and I slept incredibly soundly. The owner is super enthusiastic, offering free airport transfers both ways. The breakfast was varied, with delicious Yunnan rice noodles, and the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. Any requests were handled super quickly. It offers an immersive ******* living experience while still providing modern comforts. Next time I'm in Shangri-La, I'll definitely stay here again. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Diqing!
GGuest UserThe staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They confirmed my check-in details and the hotel's location in advance. Upon arrival, they immediately offered to help with my luggage and even assisted with purchasing tickets for the Song Dynasty City show (I didn't realize discounted tickets needed to be bought a day in advance, but the hotel managed to get them for me). They were consistently warm and welcoming whenever I saw them.
The breakfast was plentiful and, more importantly, delicious, with a fantastic view from the restaurant.
The room was spacious and modern, featuring a double vanity and a large dressing mirror, perfect for two women to get ready simultaneously. My friend was extremely pleased.
Initially, I was a bit worried based on some user-uploaded photos on Amap, but thankfully, the hotel's photos on Trip.com were accurate and trustworthy, not misleading. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
GGuest UserView is great. We weren’t allowed to hold animals for our photoshoot despite seeing another group just before us taking photos with the animals. LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.
GGuest UserA 10 star experience
From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the two Mo sisters and their adorable feline companions, Pirate (the black cat) and Sweet Tooth (the brown one).
Everything about this stay—from the location and decor to the impeccable cleanliness and service—deserves 10 stars. The Mo sisters are incredibly friendly, chatty, and helpful, making the entire place feel like a beautifully maintained, quaint home.
A few highlights:
Thoughtful Details: The beds come equipped with heating pads for colder nights, which was such a nice touch.
Amenities: I absolutely loved the peaceful courtyard and the rooftop area.
Service: They are very attentive; for instance, if you need brighter reading lights, you just have to ask.
The Atmosphere: The garden is lovingly cared for and adds so much to the vibe.
Even as a dedicated dog lover, I have to admit that Pirate and Sweet Tooth completely won me over. If you are looking for a stay with character and heart, this is it!
AAgathe2This hotel was the best stay of my trip in Sichuan / Yunnan. I cherish the countryside and i was apply to go out of the city to enjoy the slow life, the real life with nature and animals. This stay gave me everything!
The owners, 仁安 里 and Jiren, welcomed me like a was family. I was starving and they invited me to have dinner with them. It was really nice and i felt really included into their community.
The room was spacious, luminous, and confortable with a huge bed ! I really loved staying on the sofa in the morning, when the sun was blazing. The breakfast was good and generous.
My favorite day was to discover the surrounding of the hotel, walking in the village, seeing all the cute animals (cows, baby cows, dogs, cats, poneys, roosters).
The owner was so considerate to me, he drove me to Shangri-La city center because no taxis were available. Visiting the old town, i was so happy to have chosen a hotel away from this touristic place. He also picked me up and drop me off at the train station.
I would absolutely recommend and return to this hotel. I loved it very much. It gave me the opportunity to relax, discover ******* culture and amazing people, and live the slow life.
Thanks again, and Tashi Delek !
GGuest UserOn the way to the hotel, we passed by so many horse farms and prayer flags! It was super crowded!
Today we checked into Qingyu! Upon entering, there's a big courtyard! The owner's dog came to greet us! Very affectionate.
Qingyu has a front and back courtyard, with plenty of spots for photos, and the back courtyard even has prayer flags! It's super photogenic!
The coffee shop in the back courtyard is backed by a snow-capped mountain 🏔️, giving you that feeling of being at the foot of a snowy mountain, with expansive views and nothing else in sight!
The hotel also has many ethnic costumes available for free use! And if you don't know how to wear them, the owner will help you! The 'little shop assistants' are also very enthusiastic!
The scenery is truly beautiful!
GGuest UserTook my mom out for a trip and saw Aling's live stream on Douyin. She came across as very practical, genuine, and unpretentious, so we decided to stay for a few days. Overall, it was a really good experience. As soon as you enter the courtyard, there's a water feature with koi fish, which gives a vibrant and lively feel. The two young men working there were incredibly attentive and patient in answering our questions, and their demeanor was very refined. We also had the good fortune to meet a compatible travel couple, Sister Liu and her husband, at Aling's place. It felt like such a serendipitous encounter for people from the north and south to meet here. In the evening, we gathered in Aling's courtyard to chat, drink tea, and share our travel experiences. It was truly delightful. Thank you, Aling, for bringing us all together!
GGuest UserThe view from the accommodation is absolutely stunning! It’s located right in the ancient town, making it super convenient to get around, with endless food options nearby. You can easily take a stroll around the old town at night. Most importantly, the staff provided exceptional service—I was beyond impressed. If I could give them a million stars out of a hundred, I absolutely would!
The staff were incredibly helpful. They carried our luggage for us (which was a lifesaver since dragging bags through the ancient town is quite tough) and even helped us plan our itinerary to find the most convenient routes. Their recommendations were spot-on! On top of that, they made us delicious tea every single day, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing.
If you are visiting Lijiang, I highly recommend staying here. It’s truly wonderful!
RRenjian1989I had a wonderful two-day stay in Yuhu Village, and the guesthouse I booked by chance turned out to be a fantastic surprise! It has a lovely courtyard, not too big and not too small, with an olive tree standing gracefully in the middle. A few cats laze around in the courtyard, looking incredibly content and not at all afraid of people. One even waited for me on the wall when I woke up in the morning! The guesthouse's location is excellent; it's right by the Yuhu Village Square, just a short bus ride from the visitor center. Yuhu Village also offers a variety of activities, making it convenient for horse riding and hiking. I really enjoyed sunbathing and feeling the breeze in the courtyard, chatting with the owner by the fire in the lobby, drinking tea during the day, and having a nightcap in the evening. I wish I could have stayed a few more days.
