This B&B is just a few minutes' drive from the North Slope visitor center. It's quiet, elegant, clean, and hygienic. The owner's detailed pick-up instructions were a lifesaver for someone like me who's terrible with directions. The owner is warm and thoughtful, with both the meticulousness and cleanliness you'd expect from Korean style, and the straightforward, hearty nature of a Northeastern guy. Friends, if you're coming to Changbai Mountain, choose this B&B! It's like a cup of coffee after a long day, warming your hands, refreshing your spirit, and softening time itself.

2D2N in this hotel in the off-season. I booked it based on the good reviews! BUT there were some unexpected things nobody talks about! Let’s go for a quick review👇🏻 What was good: • Super clean • A good firm mattress and two pillows to choose from: one soft and one firm ✨ • The bidet 🥰 • The price • Good Korean-style breakfast, but the same every day • Showroom full of Korean costumes • Sweet girl at reception, although she was a bit shy with foreigners 🤪 • Quiet outside, warm inside, and the air is fresher than in the city What was disappointing: • The TV turns on every time we come back — it’s kinda annoying • Since neither of us knows Chinese, we couldn’t use the voice assistant. We could've used it in English, but nobody helped us set it up (but it’s okay, because we visited just for the weekend) • Disposable towels 😅 (I prefer the soft cuddle of a real towel/bathrobe after a shower) • There were no dental supplies. It was disappointing and unexpected (but maybe it’s okay for a hotel at this price, who knows?) General conclusion: It’s the best option for a Korean-style photoshoot for a few days. Good for sleeping after walking around all day. But if you’re visiting just for the weekend and you don’t need photos, it’s better to stay somewhere near the city centre. As for me, I like fresh air, and in this hotel I could have it. In the city centre it’s only air-conditioned, so this is kinda the better choice for me… What about you? Who knows! This guesthouse is conveniently located right at the end of the Daquan River rafting experience, making it super easy to head back after your adventure. The staff is really helpful and will arrange taxis for you if you want to go out for food or other activities. They even organize carpools for longer trips to places like Yanji or Xue Ling. The owner is a great person! Our room was very clean and tidy, and we had a really comfortable stay. You can even step right outside and play in the snow, offering a truly immersive experience.

If you are traveling during winter, it's a lovely place to stay, it's like a condo rent out of that sort, during the snow season does look like a santa town, a small village with decor surrounded with lights, very christmasy. Big apartment, we booked 2 bedrooms room type, heat, hot water etc all equipped. Cleanliness is great the first day, sloppy afterwards, stains on floors from day 2 til the day we left. We stayed for 5 nights. Service wise still quite good, 阳阳 is very responsive, 5 stars for her. But it's noisy every morning, there were 3 morning straight I got woken up by the noises at like 6am, other guests or staffs loud chats, banging sounds, furnitures moving around etc.... usually from 6-8 am. Breakfast is horrible though 😆 Overall, it's still a good option.

I called the owner from the high-speed rail station, and they immediately arranged for a driver to pick me up. The journey was thoughtful and warm. Arriving at the guesthouse, I was instantly charmed – the small courtyard was covered in thick snow, and there was a plump snowman by the door. Every photo I took captured the perfect winter vibe! It's also very convenient to get around from here. The owner was incredibly enthusiastic. As soon as we put down our luggage, they brought us frozen pears, which were icy, sweet, and super refreshing. The driver who picked us up was an absolute gem; not only did he recommend fun local spots along the way, but he also suggested a fantastic and affordable restaurant. Six of us girls ate until we were stuffed, and it was less than 50 RMB per person! (It's definitely enough for those with smaller appetites, but guys might need to order a couple more dishes~) My biggest regret is not asking Master Wei to teach us how to ski! He offered, but we ended up going to the ski resort ourselves and 'fell into a trap' (made mistakes). I should have listened to him. In the evening, we even lit sparklers in the courtyard. For those of us from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, who are used to firework bans, this kind of joy is truly rare! From start to finish, everyone at the guesthouse was wonderful – warm and welcoming without being intrusive. This winter trip was doubly enjoyable because of this guesthouse, and I've already recommended it to other classmates! I forgot to take pictures of the room but I love how huge it is, perfect for groups and families to stay. The host is also very responsive and helpful. He picked up and dropped me off from and to the Railway station, just tell him what you need and he does his best to comply to the requests. The foods are also very local and tasty. The hotel is just few minutes of walk from Wanda Ski Resort. You can also take a taxi from the hotel to Wanda for more or less than 10rmb. The hotel is just near from several restaurants and stores. I even rented my ski suit from the store just near the hotel for only 80rmb/day with a deposit (refundable) of 300rmb which is way cheaper than renting ski suits from Wanda. The hotel is in Guosongcun and the place is perfect for those who want peace and quiet, away from too much crowd. Overall, my stay was absolutely pleasant and if I come back to Changbaishanxi again, I will definitely book the same hotel 👍👍👍❤️

Very good and clean. Before going, the sisters turned on the air conditioner in advance. The electric mattress was turned on. It was very warm and felt at home. I would go there in the future

I went to Tonghua on a business trip. After choosing several hotels, I finally chose this one. I was not disappointed. The breakfast was very good and the room was very large. In front of the hotel is a beautiful river. The night view is very beautiful.

The room was super nice!! Very clean We stayed there for two days. The tableware and supplies were very complete. The living room and master bedroom were equipped with air conditioners There were karaoke and billiard mahjong. We brought two children (not playing with mobile phones but playing other things was not boring) There were iron pots and barbecue stoves. The table in the yard was also super big. We had three or four meals and the atmosphere was super good The boss lady was very enthusiastic and tried to provide everything she could. She also gave me a souvenir mobile phone chain (made by myself) In short! It's worth it. The whole family was busy, chattering, playing, singing and eating together (After this experience, I decided to change to a house with a yard)

Clean. Basic facilities. The single room is indeed as shown in the ad picture, with a low sloping ceiling (be careful of your head). The heating in the room is good winter. The mattress is a little too thin though. The supermarket behind the hostel has a variety of fresh fruits. There are many eateries within walking distance. Most of the supposedly scenic spots (wetland/ park etc) are all covered with ice during my visit.
