This was a really great stay and we loved it so much that we booked it for another night. The buffet breakfast was too good. A must for everyone looking for stay in Pokhara.

The room was clean and spacious enough. The shower had no issues with hot water. They provided two 1-liter bottles of complimentary drinking water. Unfortunately, due to clouds and smog, only the lower hills in the foreground were visible, not the main mountains. Breakfast was adequate for a hotel of this size; not lavish, but sufficient. If you're leaving early, they can prepare a simple meal if you request it in advance. The hotel offers a free shuttle service twice a day by reservation. It's fine for the outbound journey, but you'll need to catch a taxi for the return. When heading to the airport, if the timing works out, taking the shuttle to town and then a taxi to the airport can save you money. Since there are two airports, it's best to specify 'international airport'.

The hotel is within walking distance to Phewa Lake, and there are many small shops nearby to browse. They offer umbrellas for rent at the front desk on rainy days. The laundry service is paid and outsourced. There seemed to be a communication breakdown among the front desk staff, as I had to go up and down multiple times. The second time I used the wash and dry service, some of my clothes got mixed up with another guest's. That guest had a very thick, waterproof jacket, which resulted in my clothes not being fully dried.

Staying in Dahlia Boutique Hotel was one of the highlights of my trip to Pokhara. Perfectly located near Phewa Lake, the hotel offers the ideal balance of convenience and tranquility. Within minutes, you can walk to lakeside cafés, shops, and scenic viewpoints, yet the atmosphere inside remains peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are beautifully maintained — clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with modern comforts that make you feel instantly at home. The beds are especially comfortable, and the attention to detail in the décor creates a warm boutique charm that feels both stylish and welcoming. Housekeeping is consistent and thorough, which adds to the overall sense of comfort throughout the stay. One of the standout features is the rooftop area. The pool and terrace provide a stunning setting to unwind, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and cityscape. Watching the morning light over Pokhara from this spot is truly memorable. What makes the experience exceptional, however, is the hospitality. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to assist — whether arranging transportation, recommending local experiences, or simply greeting guests with a warm smile. Their professionalism and friendliness create an atmosphere that feels personal rather than transactional. Breakfast is another highlight, with a satisfying selection of fresh and flavorful options that cater to different tastes. It’s the perfect start to a day of exploring or relaxing by the lake. Overall, Dahlia Boutique Hotel delivers comfort, charm, and heartfelt service in an unbeatable location. For anyone visiting Pokhara, it offers excellent value and a stay that feels both relaxing and memorable. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a cozy, well-located boutique experience.

I stayed here for one night, and it was a flawless experience. The hotel is incredibly clean, modern, and well-maintained, with rooms fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The front desk staff were highly professional, welcoming, and spoke excellent English. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is their exceptional guest service. I originally planned to take a bus to Lumbini and asked the front desk for assistance. They went above and beyond by calling the owner over to help me. I was initially a bit skeptical, assuming it might be an expensive upsell for private transport. However, after an honest conversation, the owner offered us an incredibly competitive and fair price simply because we were guests at his hotel. The private transfer turned out to be the best decision we made, thanks to our phenomenal driver. He spoke fluent English, was genuinely kind, and was an exceptionally cautious driver, which was incredibly reassuring given how winding and bumpy the roads can be. He even thoughtfully offered to pull over at a gorgeous scenic suspension bridge so we could take photos. When we arrived in Lumbini, he proactively gave us invaluable advice on how to navigate the area and how much time to allocate to each spot. We did not even think to ask for this information, but we realized later just how incredibly useful his advice actually was. I rarely leave hotel reviews, but the outstanding kindness from the owner, the staff, and our brilliant driver deeply impressed me. The absolute standout feature of this hotel is definitely its stunning view of the Annapurna mountains. If you are looking for spectacular scenery, do not hesitate to choose this hotel. The staff and receptionists are incredibly welcoming. In general, Nepalese people are remarkably kind and cheerful. Naturally, getting to a location with such a great view means access is a bit challenging and more costly, but it is absolutely worth it. We booked a Mountain View Cottage and were extremely satisfied with our choice. The quality of the food and breakfast was excellent. Even though the breakfast was not a buffet, it was very comprehensive and offered a great variety. The only negative experience we had during our two-day stay was a group of Indian guests who made very disruptive and annoying noises from the night they arrived until they checked out the following noon. To make up for this, the hotel management kindly offered to move us to a premium room to escape the noise of the other passengers. However, we declined the offer because we loved the beautiful view from our original room too much to leave it.

Comfortable hotel we chose for the night before our flight to Kathmandu. The rooms was spacious, clean and functional, staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good and fresh. Recommended.

We recently stayed in a Deluxe Room at Ghandruk Resort by Hilly Valley from October 8 to October 9. We arrived early around 11 AM for a 2 PM check-in; the room was still being cleaned, which was completely understandable, though it was surprising that a resort of this size could not accommodate a request for lunch upon arrival. The property is a bit older, and the room lacked an AC, heater, or fan. However, given the 4-5°C weather, the bathroom's geyser worked perfectly and provided much-needed hot water within minutes. The room was clean, satisfying, and featured a nice small veranda. Complimentary tea and coffee sachets along with two bottles of water were nice touches. The dining experience left us with mixed feelings. The food was good but felt slightly overpriced, and the included breakfast was a fixed menu rather than a buffet. Our primary concern was the dining hall setup. As a family traveling with an infant, it was uncomfortable to eat our dinner right next to guests consuming alcohol. A designated dining space separate from the bar area would greatly improve the family-friendly appeal of the resort. Overall, it is a clean and decent property, but there is room for improvement in its dining logistics and room amenities.

I returned to Nepal after 12 years and stayed 10 nights at Hotel Fewa Camp in Pokhara — overall I was very satisfied. The hotel sits right in the heart of Lakeside, making it extremely convenient to walk to yoga and meditation classes, gyms, and live-music venues.  If you care about lake views, this place is hard to beat on Lakeside: every morning I would open the balcony curtains and get a full panorama of Fewa Lake, birds and lakeside life — people playing football and volleyball along the shore — which was simply wonderful.  The rooms are comfortable and make it easy to unwind after a day of trekking, training, or sightseeing. The hotel offers free in-room Wi-Fi and rooms equipped for media, so we could easily stream YouTube/Netflix in the evenings (we even caught the latest episode of Wednesday while there).   Service was attentive and helpful — staff responded to requests quickly. Breakfast is ordered à la carte rather than a buffet, but portions can be refilled so you start the day energized. In short, if you’re choosing a place to stay in Pokhara, I’d highly recommend Hotel Fewa Camp for its unbeatable location, excellent lake views, and friendly service.
