During this 6-day trip to Tottori, the best hot spring hotel I stayed in was the Misasa Onsen in Kurayoshi ♨️~ Wancuilou. I booked a one-night-two-meals package. The hot spring is a special kind of hot spring that contains radium radioactive elements ♨️. It is said that it can cure various diseases, so it is very popular in Japan 👏! We booked a Takachiho Japanese-style room, which is very large and can accommodate more than 6 people! The hotel's dinner is very rich and looks like a work of art! It is a perfect combination of vision and taste buds! The hotel also provides free pick-up and drop-off service from Kurayoshi Station!
My two nights here were a perfect escape. The room felt like a retreat into calm. I especially loved the private baths, quiet, serene, and easy to access.
What made the stay truly unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. From the afternoon tea with a Japanese sweet served in the room to their constant thoughtfulness and gentle smiles, every detail made me feel welcomed and cared for.
My stay here will remain one of the most memorable parts of my time in Japan.
Very good! Very clean, and the room facing the sea is really nice. The breakfast was delicious. The room wasn't large, but very cozy and clean. I highly recommend taking a morning stroll along the beach; it's quite romantic!
The room is the most spacious in Japan. You can enjoy the beautiful view. The surrounding environment is nice. You can also take a hot spring bath. There are free drinks and snacks for children. Both children and adults like it.
The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows that offered fantastic views. Sitting by the window was exceptionally relaxing (though I'd suggest replacing the small sofa, as it was so worn out you'd completely sink into it). The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious. The tatami mattress was, without a doubt, the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The only minor drawback was a faint drain smell in the room, which might be due to low water pressure and definitely needs improvement.
Conan Fan: Bokoro Ryokan at Wangkoro Tower. Manga episode 69 and TV drama episodes 648 & 649, ”The Script of the Steam Room”: We went to investigate the ”crime scene” in the men's bath. It turned out the door leading to the ”locked room” was locked. The Conan fan said it was probably a precaution after the incident, and he was incredibly engrossed. Mr. Gosho Aoyama returns here every year, so the hotel has many manuscripts and a complete set of manga books. The Wagyu beef in Tottori is delicious, but for Conan fans, nothing is more important than being there in person.
The waitress, Ms. Yamada, was very attentive and even left us a note in Chinese. Highly recommended for Conan fans. Choose the hotel's package including breakfast and dinner; the meals are very plentiful (fresh ingredients, we ate until we were stuffed). There are also complimentary Tottori specialties in the room (biscuits, sweets, pear jelly). A suggestion: if you're soaking in the outdoor onsen, wear a hat, otherwise you might catch a chill afterward.
Please note that hotel check-out time is 10:00 AM. If you have booked your return train, you can choose a train departing after 10:30 AM. The hotel offers a pick-up and drop-off service, which can be booked in advance through Ctrip customer service. Pick-up to the hotel is at a flexible time before 6:00 AM, but drop-off time is fixed.
The service was good, especially in the restaurant. The host thanked each guest at every table, and the waiters were also very nice. The public bath was also good. This time I stayed in a single room, which was spacious. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with Dashan milk and seafood rice.
The service was incredible. The whole hotel has tatami floor so you need to let the staff help to clean your baggage wheels and then take off your shoes before entering hotel. Hotel buffet dinner and breakfast were great.
Facilities: The hotel has all the standard amenities, including an outdoor private onsen, and the room is very spacious with a sea view. The large outdoor bath also offers a breathtaking sea view, providing a truly refreshing experience. Don't miss out on the delicious Oyama milk from the vending machine.
Hygiene: The indoor areas are clean. Since there are many insects in summer, just remember to close the outdoor door promptly, and you'll be fine.
Environment: Located in Kaike Onsen village, it's a seaside hot spring with a white sand beach below. The sea water is clean, perfect for swimming, and kids can enjoy digging in the sand.
Service: The staff were incredibly thoughtful. As soon as they saw us from afar, they proactively ran over to greet us and helped with our luggage. On our departure day, they even arranged a car to take us to the station, despite it being only a 3-minute drive. They insisted on providing a dedicated car according to our schedule to protect us from the summer sun, which was very heartwarming. The welcome afternoon tea in the lobby offered a variety of drinks.
The breakfast and dinner truly deserve special praise. We booked a half-board plan, and the dinner was exquisite and delicious, featuring seasonal seafood like oysters and three different doneness levels of steak, all incredibly tasty. We enjoyed our meal while watching the sunset. Breakfast was amazing, a buffet with both Japanese and Western options, an incredible variety. There were so many desserts and ice creams that we couldn't even try them all, and everything tasted excellent. They even provided small trolleys to help us carry our food, which is a rare thoughtful touch I've encountered in the many onsen hotels I've stayed at.
The hotel is very cost-effective and extremely satisfactory! It is a very cost-effective plan with one night and two meals. There are hot springs in the hotel for you to soak in, which can relieve your fatigue and make you feel relaxed physically and mentally. The restaurant has a breathtaking view, and it is a pleasant experience to enjoy the charming scenery while dining.

Amazing
GGuest UserThe private bath room was booked, and the room and the pool were very clean.
I made an appointment for the pick-up one day in advance, and I saw the driver when I got out of the station. It took 15 minutes from Kurayoshi Station to the hotel.
The service attitude was very good, and they would lead and introduce the hotel facilities and various locations.
There is a supermarket directly opposite the hotel.

VValeriaKindest staff!! Very welcoming, helpful, warm and kind^^
After climbing Mt Daisen, my legs were sore and the wonderful hot Onsen really soothed and healed my whole body. It really refreshed me:)
Room was very clean, flawless, perfect air-conditioner.
They have me a ride to the bus stop after check out.
Overall, very satisfied. I wish I could have stayed here longer. The air was so fresh in Daisen, I already miss the air! I will definitely come back! Thank you very much for your warm hospitality ^_^

PPenggeThe hotel is conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from Tottori Station and a 5-minute taxi ride to Hokkaido Kaiten Sushi. It boasts a nice onsen (hot spring) and was very clean. Complimentary disposable amenities were readily available for guests. On the downside, the breakfast was quite disappointing – very basic with limited variety, and many items weren't restocked, which certainly didn't justify its price. Also, be aware that if you're staying with a child in the same room, there's an additional charge of 3000 JPY per night, and breakfast for the child is extra.
FFaranwellThe biggest pros: Free parking and 3 mins walk away from convenient store ヽ(́◕◞౪◟◕‵)ノ
Key highlight: I travel to this hotel with rental car, the location is easy to find from google map, and just 5-6 mins drive to Donki if you are a late night shopper. This is the only hotel offer free parking from my trip in Yonago so it is def a bonus to me. Another bonus will probably be the breakfast they offer in this prince range, and all these little details to comfort your stay, e.g. shoe cleaning machine, few vending machines for emergency, self-control AC in the room & more. Recommended!
About the breakfast: Japanese style breakfast is served, rice, soup, congee, small pieces of fishes, eggs sausages - the basic.

RRobbieMcQSecond time I have stayed here. Great hotel, right beside the station. The hotel itself may seem a little outdated but it is very cozy. It is a 10 minute walk to a main street filled with restaurants and bars. About 5 minutes walk to the bus depot if you need to get to the sand dunes. Staff were very nice and polite and helpful
AAnonymous UserThis is my second trip to Tottori and my second stay at this hotel. My first experience here was great, and I found that many aspects remained excellent this time. The staff's service attitude and attentiveness are still excellent. The hotel's location is superb, with a convenient store right across the street. The in-room air conditioning worked perfectly, and I especially appreciate that they paid attention to my personal request and assigned us our preferred corner room.
However, there were a few issues. Perhaps due to humidity, the duvet cover felt damp and had a noticeable musty smell, as if it had been air-dried indoors. Also, the electric kettle in the room wasn't working properly.
Separately, and while not a reflection on the hotel itself, I was quite bothered by the guests in room 802 across the hall. This family of three repeatedly left their trash bin outside their door, and sometimes even in front of other guests' rooms, showing a complete disregard for shared common areas and other people's comfort. I could hear them speaking Mandarin Chinese through the door. As a fellow countryman, I was truly embarrassed by their inconsiderate behavior.
RRravlThe hotel is just 5 minutes walking from Yonago station. The room is very big which is unusual in Japan. The price to performance ratio is really very high. More amazingly, free breakfast is provided. And free bicycles are available.
